Located overlooking Duluth's busy harbor, Suite Betty is located near all of Duluth's main attractions. Apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, living room and bathroom with 2 sink vanity and handicapped shower. Apartment is also equipped with it's own full size washer and dryer. Bedroom has a queen-sized bed. Fold down queen sized sofa bed in the living room can sleep an additional 2 people. Free WiFi and Cable TV included. There is a Smart TV in the bedroom for streaming your favorite shows. Located on a cul de sac, the house is steps away from the Duluth Hiking Trail and Biking Trail and 5 minutes from downtown Duluth and Canal Park, 1/2 mile from the Heritage Hockey Center and 10 minutes from Spirit Mountain. Paved off-street parking is provided.
The property also has much green space with several seating areas, a BBQ grill, a firepit and a swing set. Yard games are also available upon request.
Please note that our property is licensed and inspected annually by the Minnesota Department of Health and the City of Duluth Fire & Safety Department . You will love being surrounded by beautiful trees on your scenic drive up the 1/2 mile driveway. When you reach the end of the road, you have arrived. The property is on a small private lake where you can enjoy fishing off the dock, lounging in the hammocks or boathouse, paddling around the island on a paddle board, kayak, canoe or enjoy a bonfire any time of the day. There are many 4-wheeler and snowmobile trails nearby if you choose to bring them along.
The winter months are great for ice fishing (bass and Northern Pike), snowmobiling, X-C Skiing, snowshoeing or biking on your Fat Bike. Groomed X-C ski trails near the loft are 10 minutes away. Spirit Mountain is a 30 minute drive for winter skiing, snowboarding and biking trails. Duluth has many beautiful mountain bike trails for all levels and have gorgeous scenery year round.
You will most certainly see loons, geese, deer, beavers, wild turkeys, sandhill cranes, Trumpeter Swans and eagles that surround the property. The loft above the garage is an inviting private Nordic hideaway with a cozy canopy bed, French press with provided coffee and the lake, sauna and boathouse are just a minutes walk.
The owners live on the property and may or may not be present during your stay, but will always respect your space.
The historic boathouse is a common space for guests to enjoy and it's located on the shore of our lake. Perfect for reading, getting out of the sun, having coffee, drinks or dining. It is not exclusive to the rental of the loft as the owners of the property may also be present and the geodesic dome in the woods is an additional rental in the summer months. The boathouse is open from May - October (although this depends on the weather). There is absolutely no overnight sleeping in the boathouse.

Way more space than the pictures show." - "Picture perfect loft with everything you need to stay a day or a week! Just need groceries. Also parking signs are confusing, but you CAN park from 2-6 am overnight in the summer months. Also highly recommend the BBQ place across the street called OMC. Have Cade, Luke, or Alex behind the bar make you a Whiskey sour. Get the ice cream a half a block away. It’s made right there in small batches. Want to sit outside and eat? Take an Uber (if you can find one) and go to Va Bene and ask to sit right above the water. Actually exceptional Italian food. It is a bit warm in the loft so turn the mini split on right away. We will definitely be back in the winter and likely again this fall to stay at the same place!"

VACATION RENTAL HOUSE RULES
1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS a) All Guests (and any Visitors) must comply with all House Rules and any other instructions from the Property Manager during their stay; and b) Guests must notify the Property Manager of any disputes or complaints from neighbors as soon as reasonably practicable.
2. NOISE AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD a) This Vacation Rental is suitable for children of all ages! Guests are fully responsible for the safety and security of their children at all times, as well as any disturbance caused to other residents in the Neighborhood; b) Guests and Visitors must keep noise to a minimum as not to disturb the occupants of neighboring properties – especially during nighttime hours (10pm – 8am), and upon arrival and departure; c) Excessive noise is prohibited at all times and may result in termination of the vacation rental agreement, eviction, loss of rental paid and extra charges which may be deducted from the Security Deposit;
3. VISITORS a) Guests are allowed a maximum of 4 visitors at any time during their stay. b) Guests are responsible for ensuring maximum visitor numbers are not exceeded; and that visitors are complicit with these House Rules.
4. FUNCTIONS a) Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited at the Vacation Rental; and b) Any small gathering must comply with other rules set regarding Noise, the Neighborhood and Visitor numbers.
5. PARKING a) Guests and any visitors are to comply with parking regulations and other requirements set out by the property manger and show consideration to neighbors and other vehicles; please use the designated parking.
6. SECURITY a) Any time Guests leave the Vacation Rental, it is their responsibility to ensure all windows and doors are closed/locked to maintain security and prevent rain and water damage. b) Guests must switch off the lights, air conditioning, fans, electronics such as televisions when not in use to promote energy saving.
7. SMOKING a) Smoking is not permitted inside or outside of this vacation rental ;Failure to follow this guideline will result in a deduction from the security deposit.
8. PETS a) Pets are not permitted in this rental.
9. DAMAGES AND BREAKAGES a) All Damages and Breakages must be reported to the Property Manager as soon as reasonably practicable. Failure to report them will likely result in a penalty deduction from the security deposit. And; b) To avoid Damages and Breakages, no furniture is to be moved from one room to another without prior agreement.
10. CHECK OUT ARRANGEMENTS a) Please be sure to lock all doors and leave both sets of keys back in the lockbox. Check out is at 10am - if you need a later checkout please contact me as soon as possible to make arrangements.
11. EMERGENCY CONTACT DETAILS: a) In the event of an emergency relating to the Vacation Rental, your emergency contact is: Heirloom Vacation Rentals 218-409-4885 b) In the event of all other emergencies please call 911.
12. COMPLIANCE a) Breach of any of these House Rules is a breach of the Terms and Conditions of occupancy as per the Rental Agreement. b) The Owner and Manager reserve the right to terminate permission to occupy and to evict from the Vacation Rental, any Guests or Visitors who refuse to follow these House Rules or who cause a nuisance to neighbors or other residents of the community.

I suspect that is more of a it’s issue and will get figured out as they complete the redevelopment there. Duluth Press Building History:
1915 W. Superior St. aka The Duluth Press Building was built by architects Radcliffe & Willoughby in the year 1894.
Extant Missouri native Hugh Wetmore spent much of the 1880s working as a reporter for the St. Paul dispatch before moving to Superior in 1890 to write for the Superior Evening Telegram. The next year he established a newspaper in Duluth's west end called The Union Workman: The People Press. According to Duluth journalist Paul Lundgren the paper was the official organ of The Duluth Trades and Labor Assembly. The following year Wetmore began courting Helen Cody, sister of "Buffalo Bill" Cody. Hugh and Helen wed in July 1893, the same month Helen took over as the paper's business manager. That September the paper's name was changed to The Duluth Press. By then Buffalo Bill Cody owned half of the business and financed the construction of a building to house it along the upper 1900 block of west superior street. After the building opened in 1894 Helen hired her daughter Mary Jester as its city editor and organized the Zenith Press Club, consisting solely of women. The next year she advertised the publication as "The Women's Paper of the Great Northwest." The periodical didn't last long, they published their final issue on August 29, 1896. Since then the building has housed other publishing companies, apartments, and various other businesses.

To access the parking lot, turn into the alley off of either 19th or 20th street and look for the designated parking area with signs for the Duluth Press Building. The primary building entrance is located on Michigan Street, enter the code to enter the building. This is a second story apartment so once you enter there will be stairs required to access your apartment. Shore View Haven is the apartment on the right side facing the lake. Enter the code followed by the check mark to enter.
The outside stairs may be difficult to navigate so please proceed with caution.
Parking - When you arrive, there is one space in the back of the building available. If extra parking is needed please utilize Superior street parking or parking across the street in the parking ramp.

- "Amazing new place! Clean and great location. We’ll be back!" - "Look no further, as this place is fantastic! Very stylish, super clean and everything you need for a short or long stay. If you want to be downtown, and we did, this unit is perfect. They have gone to great expense to make this very nice. The sliding glass doors are very thick and you can hardly hear any traffic. The view to the lake is wonderful and we love watching the boats go by. If stairs are an issue for you then it might not be a good fit. Although we are older, we are very active so not a problem for us. Our communication felt like we were dealing with a bot. We had trouble getting in as there are 2 entrances. Won't go into details but dealing with "contact host" was not good for US. If you are having any trouble, we recommend dealing directly with Heirloom properties who were very responsive, professional and friendly. LOOK NO FURTHER and BOOK IT!"

Less than 2 miles to the Craft District. Enjoy some views of the lake, lift bridge, and bay. Great for a short trip or an extended stay. This is an upstairs apartment with a couple sets of stairs to get into the apartment.

According to Duluth journalist Paul Lundgren the paper was the official organ of The Duluth Trades and Labor Assembly. The following year Wetmore began courting Helen Cody, sister of "Buffalo Bill" Cody. Hugh and Helen wed in July 1893, the same month Helen took over as the paper's business manager. That September the paper's name was changed to The Duluth Press. By then Buffalo Bill Cody owned half of the business and financed the construction of a building to house it along the upper 1900 block of west superior street. After the building opened in 1894 Helen hired her daughter Mary Jester as its city editor and organized the Zenith Press Club, consisting solely of women. The next year she advertised the publication as "The Women's Paper of the Great Northwest." The periodical didn't last long, they published their final issue on August 29, 1896. Since then the building has housed other publishing companies, apartments, and various other businesses.

Pets - Don't worry about leaving Fido home alone! We're more than happy to accommodate up to 2 dogs at our place. There's just a small fee of $75 per dog. Access - For your convenience, you can pull into the designated drop-off spot near the back door to unload your luggage quickly and easily. Simply enter the building through the back door using the unique code provided to you. Your unit is located on the second floor hallway, please note that this property does not have an elevator.
Parking - Complimentary parking is available for guests staying at the Duluth Press Building. To access the parking lot, turn into the alley off of either 19th or 20th street and look for the designated parking area with signs for the Duluth Press Building. Each unit has assigned parking spots, so please be sure to park in the space(s) designated for your unit. If you have an electric car the closest plug-in stations are across the street behind the Frost River Trading Company building.
Transit - While having a car is recommended for convenience, no worries if you don't have one. Duluth has got you covered with plenty of public transportation options to explore the area. You can hop on the Duluth Transit, or take advantage of ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft. And if you prefer traditional taxis, there are many other taxi services available too. So, whether you're cruising in your own car or using one of these convenient options, getting around won't be a problem at all. Enjoy your adventures in Duluth!

We have a beautifully renovated two bedroom apartment with all new furniture, carpeting, tile and refinished hardwood floors. It is decorated in earth tones to add to the relaxing setting that the local area brings. The bedrooms have queen sized beds. The pictures that adorn the walls are watercolor prints of scenes from the Duluth area painted by a local artist. The kitchen is stocked with all the appliances and utensils you will need to feel right at home, including a pizza oven. The dining-room table seats six and there is a kitchen table as well. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience. The 50 inch TV, cable TV and DVDs are great! Wifi is included.

Come stay in our cozy beachside basement apartment! We're located in a quiet stretch of the Park Point neighborhood and only a mile away from Canal Park.
The space includes private access to the entire basement of our bungalow. We designed the basement as if it were our own living space and we hope you can enjoy all the features to its fullest. In the living room you'll find a record and cassette player, as well as a TV signed in to Netflix. You'll also find games and reading material around the apartment. The kitchenette includes a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven/air fryer, Keurig coffee machine, and cooking/eating utensils. In the bathroom you are free to use the whirlpool tub. Outside you are free to use the firepit area and beach access.At this time, the outdoor hot tub is not open for guests. Thank you for understanding!

This fully furnished studio suite features a kitchen, large bathroom, queen bed, all furnishings, free laundry and free WIFI. Fully updated with fire alarm system, carbon monoxide detectors, full fire sprinkler system, security camera system, and electronic keypad entrances. This unit features cream colored cabinetry, vibrant red appliances, closet space, and is fully handicap accessible .
This suite is located in a commercial building that has recently renovated from top to bottom. We added 6 apartments to the building along with a commercial office space up front. There are 4 other units on the main level, laundry room, and my real estate office. Everything is nicely separated with a common hallway. You enter through a common main entrance, and the suite is located on the main level to the left. Controlled electronic entry to both common areas and to your individual unit. Nicely updated while keeping some original brick accents and old charm. Tall ceilings and a nice large bathroom. Air exchange in unit as well as ceiling fan and thermostat control.

It is just a 10 minute bike ride from Canal Park and Downtown Duluth, and bike paths run right along side the Enger Lofts Hotel. Next door is Bent Paddle Brewery, Love Creamery, and so many more sweet businesses.
Taking an uber or calling a taxi is pretty easy to access in Lincoln Park. There are also bus and bike lanes that run right next to the Enger Lofts building.

Guests will have access to the downstairs of the property via keyless entry at the front door as well as use of the back patio area. We hope & want your stay to be as pleasant as possible.

- Pets:
If you have pets, please always keep them on a leash or under control outside. Also, do not let pets enter our neighbors’ yards. please clean up after your dog on walks. Pets are not allowed on furniture, and must not disturb neighbors with noise. Pets should not be left unattended outside for long periods. We assume no responsibility for any pet-related illness or injury.
- Smoking/Vaping:
Smoking or vaping of any substance is not allowed inside the house. (Surface testing is provided by cleaning services.) Cigarette butts are not to be thrown on the property grounds.
- Trash
At end of stay place all garbage in the trash container next to the garage. Please make sure the lid is closed to prevent critters from getting in.
- Dishes:
During your stay, feel free to use dishwasher. The soap is under sink. At the end of stay, prior to leaving, rinse/load/start washer.
- Cleaning
Please place all linens at the foot of bed as a cue for cleaning company, while leaving comforter on bed. Place towels in the bathroom or baskets.
- Laundry:
You may use our washer & dryer for your personal items as long as they are not oil/gas stained.
The laundry is located in the basement. For the safety of your children and pets, please keep the basement door closed and do not allow them to enter the basement.

There is a TV that receives local broadcast stations, and a selection of DVD movies for your use.

The apartment is your private space with its own entrance located on the backyard side of the house. There is a patio with table and chairs for you to enjoy. The deck is used by the owners. Off street parking next to the detached garage.
Shared space includes the backyard (5-acre lot) and a portable fire pit for small fires. Walk to the back of the yard past the vegetable garden and pole building to access private woods with a short walking path.

The loft is on the second floor of our multi-unit home. Each unit has a private entrance and you have access to the entire loft. Our cozy cabin-like unit features a spacious kitchenette with a cook top and medium refrigerator. Please relax in our new Sauna with a view of the beautiful land. This is a shared property amenity but reserved for private use.
We are a bed & breakfast which means we have a caretaker onsite and provide very light breakfast of granola bars and oatmeal.
The 11 acre property includes a beautiful pond, walking trails, a sauna, and fire pits. The outdoor spaces are shared with the other three units. There are many seating areas to soak up nature privately.
