VACATION RENTAL HOUSE RULES
1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS a) All Guests (and any Visitors) must comply with all House Rules and any other instructions from the Property Manager during their stay; and b) Guests must notify the Property Manager of any disputes or complaints from neighbors as soon as reasonably practicable.
2. NOISE AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD a) This Vacation Rental is suitable for children of all ages! Guests are fully responsible for the safety and security of their children at all times, as well as any disturbance caused to other residents in the Neighborhood; b) Guests and Visitors must keep noise to a minimum as not to disturb the occupants of neighboring properties – especially during nighttime hours (10pm – 8am), and upon arrival and departure; c) Excessive noise is prohibited at all times and may result in termination of the vacation rental agreement, eviction, loss of rental paid and extra charges which may be deducted from the Security Deposit;
Terms include a No Tolerance Policy regarding excessive noise, parties, or disturbing neighbors. Please make sure you are comfortable with our Terms as they are strictly enforced.
3. VISITORS a) Guests are allowed a maximum of 6 visitors at any time during their stay. b) Guests are responsible for ensuring maximum visitor numbers are not exceeded; and that visitors are complicit with these House Rules.
4. FUNCTIONS a) Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited at the Vacation Rental; and b) Any small gathering must comply with other rules set regarding Noise, the Neighborhood and Visitor numbers.
5. PARKING a) Guests and any visitors are to comply with parking regulations and other requirements set out below and show consideration to neighbors and other vehicles; please use the designated parking with signs for the Vacation Rental.
6. SECURITY a) Any time Guests leave the Vacation Rental, it is their responsibility to ensure all windows and doors are closed/locked to maintain security and prevent rain and water damage. b) Guests must switch off the lights, air conditioning, fans, electronics such as televisions when not in use to promote energy saving.
7. SMOKING a) Smoking is not permitted inside the Vacation Rental; and b) Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly (in large trash cans located outside property or off property all together) and not thrown on property grounds. Failure to do so will result in a deduction from the security deposit.
8. PETS a) IF dogs are permitted at the Vacation Rental; b) Specific rules regarding Pets at the Vacation Rental are as follows: Please keep pets off all furniture and be sure to have on a leash at all times when outside of the home. Also be sure to clean up after your pet and dispose of waste in the trash bins located outside of property. Please respect neighbors by limiting the barking of pets on the property; c) A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed at the property; for short term reservations the pet fee is $75/dog, for extended stays the fee is $150/pet. All mention of pets denotes dogs only, no other pets are permitted.
9. DAMAGES AND BREAKAGES a) All Damages and Breakages must be reported to the Property Manager as soon as reasonably practicable. Failure to report them will likely result in a penalty deduction from the security deposit. And; b) To avoid Damages and Breakages, no furniture is to be moved from one room to another without prior agreement.
10. CHECK OUT ARRANGEMENTS a) Please be sure to lock all doors and leave both sets of keys back in the lockbox. Check out is at 10am - if you need a later checkout please contact me as soon as possible to request arrangements.
11. EMERGENCY CONTACT DETAILS: a) In the event of an emergency relating to the Vacation Rental, your emergency contact is: Heirloom Vacation Rentals b) In the event of all other emergencies please call 911.
12. COMPLIANCE a) Breach of any of these House Rules is a breach of the Terms and Conditions of occupancy as per the Rental Agreement. b) The Owner and Manager reserve the right to terminate permission to occupy and to evict from the Vacation Rental, any Guests or Visitors who refuse to follow these House Rules or who cause a nuisance to neighbors or other residents of the community.

Minnesota Beach House is located on Park Point which is surrounded by the pristine waters of Lake Superior and the St Louis River. These bodies of water are home to kayakers, canoeists, boaters, fisherman, kite surfers, wind surfers, surfers, and swimmers. If you don't participate in these activities you'll surely enjoy their antics on the water! The property has direct access to six miles of sandy beach on Lake Superior where you'll see joggers, walkers, sunbathers, and sand castle builders. Only 0.7 miles from the Minnesota Beach House is the historic Lift Bridge which connects Park Point to the City of Duluth and all it has to offer.

Welcome to the historic Pumphouse on Lake Superior with 200' of lakeshore! The Pumphouse is one of Duluth's iconic and historical properties. This home was originally designed by John Wangenstein in 1860 as the water pump house for the City of Duluth but was abandoned when the new pump house was built in 1897. Miss Elisabeth Congdon purchased it and hired renowned architect Harold Starin to convert the pump house into an absolutely stunning French-style home. Enormous 8' windows face the courtyard and London Road, while a terrace along the entire length of the home overhangs Lake Superior. French doors frame the large living room and its commanding view of Lake Superior and the Aerial Lift Bridge. This stunning 3,100 square foot French home sits on 200' of lakefront on London Road. The Pumphouse faces southeast for beautiful sunrises and overhangs Lake Superior. The home features large multi-paned French windows, French doors, 10-foot ceilings, a Pullman-style kitchen, period chandeliers, four gas fireplaces, and other unique elements. You can enjoy a fire in our fire pit next to the lake or leisurely escape to the terrace to listen to the many sounds of the lake. The house known as the 'Captain's Quarters' sits at the forest's edge, set back from the road and tucked into a very private estate. A four year build, (completed in 2008), it is filled with modern luxuries such as a gourmet kitchen, beautiful bluestone gas fireplace, radiant heated floors, a spa bath, air conditioning and wifi internet. Though the amenities are modern, the 'feel' of the home is steeped in an old world charm and beauty. Built with a love for the art, nothing was overlooked. From the heavy Douglas fir timbers, to the ornate cast iron radiators, much was borrowed from days gone by and re purposed here. Details in brass, marble, red wood, granite, copper, maple, limestone, and stained glass are to be found throughout.
This home was designed with friends and family in mind, and so is very social and entertains beautifully. It is truly a pleasure to experience!
The house is surrounded by gorgeous natural landscapes. White pines tower above mossy cliffs and rocky outcroppings. Wild life big and small weave through the trees. Sweeping cedars huddle and lean into each other. Colorful maples surround it all, both glowing over, and shading the acreage. There's even a pretty forest pond for the frogs and ducks, and ice skating come winter, that sits below a cozy 'lighthouse' on the bluff. And now we have a large pond nestled between the cliffs and the house with a beautiful pavilion to sit and enjoy the ducks and dragonfly's go by. Not to mention all the birds coming and going. (five bird feeders)
The property adjoins hundreds of acres of diverse designated 'green spaces' that are woven with miles of walking and cross country ski trails. And if you like e-bikes, we have those available too. And Hartley Recreational area but a short peddle away.
This house is located in the perfect part of Duluth. While being only minutes away from Lake Superior and Downtown one way, and the malls and airport the other, there is still an absolutely enchanting feel to it all.

This house has a beautiful great room and view of the lake. There’s 113’ of shoreline to dip your toes . You can see Lake Superior from three sides of the building. Two 12’ x 12’ bedrooms in the back have lake and woods views. The 38’ x 25’ great room has views on all three sides. A large u-shaped couch allows everyone to watch the lake in comfort. Great view of the sunrise on the shoreline (see photo). Full size propane range with oven. Two grills, one for smoking and a Weber.
The location is convenient with a good supermarket 3 miles away in Two Harbors and Betty's pies within walking distance. ATV and Snowmobile trails are within a mile. The Superior Hiking Trail is close, too. Essy access to the water makes kayaking and cannoeing convenient. It's easy to find adventures all around this location.
There is lots of wildlife to be seen on this property. Eagles are regularly sitting in the top of the pines overlooking the lake. Deer frequently go through the property and a grouse or two have been known to hang around. You won’t have a lack of things to look at.

Charming LAKEFRONT home, right on the shore of Island Lake Kubash Bay, straight north of Duluth (25/30 min drive from Downtown/Canal Park). This beautifully renovated cottage is a bright and restful retreat and the perfect basecamp for exploring the magic of the North Shore. There are restaurants, bars and coffee shops all within walking distance. Hop on the trail for a quick walk to my favorite, the Cedar Coffee shop. The Two Harbors Light House, the Harbor and Castle Danger Brewery is approximately 10 easy blocks away. The Harbor is the perfect location to watch the ships come in...

The Polished Pebble Cottage, is a two-story home built in 1931. The cottage has undergone extensive interior renovations in 2021 and is all you will need to make memories on the North Shore. Enjoy all the charm with modern amenities!
The home is professionally cleaned and has 2 full bathrooms, both equipped with Jacuzzi tubs to take your stress away! One bathroom is conveniently located on the main floor and the 2nd is located off the master bedroom upstairs. Please note that they are combination Jacuzzi tub and shower units, so you will need to step into the tub to use the shower.
- The entire house is included in this rental, except for the basement and one supply closest that are locked.

This is the perfect place for a getaway! There are miles of sandy beach along the shore of Lake Superior right out the back door (150 steps out the front door and you are on the beach!). You are 1.2 miles from the aerial lift bridge, Canal Park, and downtown Duluth. The house was newly remodeled in the fall of 2015. Partially finished basement includes air hockey table, kids' chalkboard, and washer/dryer. 2 bedroom (one queen bed, one full bed), one full bathroom, gas fireplace, sleeps 4.
- "70 degree weather for our 1st week. Amazing sunrises just steps away from rental. House was spotless, bright and full of amenities. Location can't be beat. Look up the Duluth Harbor Cam and Harbor Lookout Schedules and you can be at Bridge in 10 minutes. Very easy to practice social distancing while enjoying the beautiful North Shore. Heather was great to work with and you can tell that she really cares about her guests. Meant alot to us!"

Located just 10 minutes north of Two Harbors, you'll enjoy the convenience of being near town for grocery and coffee runs but also the true up-north, in-the-woods experience. The cottage is an 1,150 square foot two level home. The main level is open concept and contains a living room with smart TV and Room & Board queen sleeper sofa, fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, dining space, and full size washer and dryer. The upstairs is an open loft area which contains a queen bed on one side and bunk beds (twin over full) on the other side. All mattresses are Tuft & Needle. Also upstairs, there is a full bathroom and workspace with desk and office chair. The upper level has a walkout patio and large windows, all showcasing incredible views of the valley and Lake Superior. There is extremely fast fiber optic internet throughout the property. Outside, you'll find a fire pit with surrounding chairs. Gökotta is a Swedish word that means "the act of rising early to greet the dawn, listen to birds, and to see the sun" which is precisely what we hope you'll appreciate doing at the cottage! Large Park Point house with beach access, outdoor shower to wash the sand off, fire pit to enjoy in the evenings, and a screened-in porch just in case the bugs start biting! Read a book, play some foosball, or catch up on some work in the front sunroom. The main floor bedroom features a king bed and an ensuite bathroom. You'll find a kitchen fully stocked with your basic essentials, a coffee nook, a reading area, and access to the back yard where you'll find the fire pit and the trail to the beach!
This is a dog friendly property: a maximum of 2 dogs are allowed at the property; the pet fee is $75/dog. No other pets are permitted.
SUMMER IS BUSY IN CANAL PARK! There will be traffic on most weekends, especially with special events going on so just be aware when making your vacation plans. During the busy summer boat traffic months, you will be what locals call "Bridged". This can take anywhere from 5-25 mins. Enjoy watching the big boats passing by!
**Please Note** Northern winters can bring a lot of snow in unpredictable patterns, we have a snow removal service that will be triggered with a 1" minimum snowfall and the property has a quality shovel if necessary before we are able to reach you. Please allow at least 12 hours after a snowfall for our team to get out to plow/shovel as necessary.

VACATION RENTAL HOUSE RULES
1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS a) All Guests (and any Visitors) must comply with all House Rules and any other instructions from the Property Manager during their stay; and b) Guests must notify the Property Manager of any disputes or complaints from neighbors as soon as reasonably practicable.
2. NOISE AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD a) This Vacation Rental is suitable for children of all ages! Guests are fully responsible for the safety and security of their children at all times, as well as any disturbance caused to other residents in the Neighborhood; b) Guests and Visitors must keep noise to a minimum as not to disturb the occupants of neighboring properties – especially during nighttime hours (10pm – 8am), and upon arrival and departure; c) Excessive noise is prohibited at all times and may result in termination of the vacation rental agreement, eviction, loss of rental paid and extra charges which may be deducted from the Security Deposit;
3. VISITORS a) Guests are allowed a maximum of 4 visitors at any time during their stay. b) Guests are responsible for ensuring maximum visitor numbers are not exceeded; and that visitors are complicit with these House Rules.
4. FUNCTIONS a) Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited at the Vacation Rental; and b) Any small gathering must comply with other rules set regarding Noise, the Neighborhood and Visitor numbers.
5. PARKING a) Guests and any visitors are to comply with parking regulations and other requirements set out by the property manger and show consideration to neighbors and other vehicles; please use the designated parking.
6. SECURITY a) Any time Guests leave the Vacation Rental, it is their responsibility to ensure all windows and doors are closed/locked to maintain security and prevent rain and water damage. b) Guests must switch off the lights, air conditioning, fans, electronics such as televisions when not in use to promote energy saving.
7. SMOKING a) Smoking is not permitted inside the Vacation Rental; and b) Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly (in large trash cans located outside property or off property all together) and not thrown on property grounds. Failure to do so will result in a deduction from the security deposit.
8. PETS a) IF Pets are permitted at the Vacation Rental; b) Specific rules regarding Pets at the Vacation Rental are as follows: Please keep pets off all furniture and be sure to have on a leash at all times when outside of the home. Also be sure to clean up after your pet and dispose of waste in the trash bins located outside of property. Please respect neighbors by limiting the barking of pets on the property. c) A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed at the property; for short term reservations the pet fee is $75/dog, for extended stays the fee is $150/pet. All mention of pets denotes DOGS ONLY, no other pets are permitted.
9. DAMAGES AND BREAKAGES a) All Damages and Breakages must be reported to the Property Manager as soon as reasonably practicable. Failure to report them will likely result in a penalty deduction from the security deposit. And; b) To avoid Damages and Breakages, no furniture is to be moved from one room to another without prior agreement.
10. CHECK OUT ARRANGEMENTS a) Please be sure to lock all doors and leave both sets of keys back in the lockbox. Check out is at 10am - if you need a later checkout please contact me as soon as possible to make arrangements.
11. EMERGENCY CONTACT DETAILS: a) In the event of an emergency relating to the Vacation Rental, your emergency contact is: Heirloom Vacation Rentals 218-409-4885 b) In the event of all other emergencies please call 911.
12. COMPLIANCE a) Breach of any of these House Rules is a breach of the Terms and Conditions of occupancy as per the Rental Agreement. b) The Owner and Manager reserve the right to terminate permission to occupy and to evict from the Vacation Rental, any Guests or Visitors who refuse to follow these House Rules or who cause a nuisance to neighbors or other residents of the community.

Lovely quick walk to the lake." - "We really enjoyed our stay, good time with the family. But, you may want to communicate with your cleaning staff. We had dirty towels on the back of one of the bedroom doors, a big ball of hair on top of the cooler, side door was unlocked when we arrived, under toilet seat was covered in feces, and my dog found a pill under the downstairs bed. Also, toilet paper rolls were very low when we arrived, and there were no extra rolls to replace when gone so we had to go buy toilet paper."
