Riverwood Cottages LLC owns and manages Riverwood Cottage, a vacation rental located on McKinley Boulevard in beautiful Eagle River, Wisconsin. The Riverwood Cottage is located across from the Eagle River Golf Course on lower Yellow Birch Lake. The layout includes 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a full kitchen with heat and air conditioning. The cottage sleeps up to 6 guests, with 2 queen beds, and 2 large futons.
Our guests have complete access to the Eagle River chain with a private dock and boat lift. The lawn has lots of room for fun, including a campfire pit, furnished outdoor deck, and gas grill. The Farmer's market, grocery store and downtown are just a short walk or bike ride away.
In the winter, we are only steps away from the snowmobile trails and cross-country skiing across the golf course.

The Cottage

The cottage has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a full kitchen, a living room, and a screen porch. One bedroom has a full bed, and the other bedroom has 3 beds (a queen and two twins). There are also two additional twin beds located in the old boat house which has been converted to a bunkhouse. There is a firepit onsite which firewood is provided, as well as a gas grill available for use.

Our cabin is only about 25 feet from the water, giving you a great view of the lake. The setting is very private, as you can not see the neighbors on either side of you due to forests. The water is swimmable with a nice sandy bottom. There are some reeds mid to late summer that surround the dock area.

A 25 Foot Pontoon Boat with 40HP 4-stroke motor docked at the cottage is INCLUDED in rental price. This is a fishing/cruise pontoon and will work well for either purpose.

Columbus Lake is a 600+ Acre lake located in Sugar Camp Wisconsin. The lake has no 'public' access, therefore it does not have heavy fishing pressure or boat traffic like most other lakes. The lake is abundant with walleyes, panfish, perch, northern pike, and muskie. The shoreline is a sandy bottom, with some reeds surrounding the dock located at the cottage. .

Perfect for larger groups or 2 families. Situated between St. Germain and Eagle River is this beautiful and private lake home, with 6 bedrooms and three large bathrooms, located on a 4-acre, with open and wooded landscape. Chain Lake is part of the famous Sugar Camp Chain of Lakes, which also provides Class A Musky fishing. Other accessible lakes include Echo, Dam Lake, Sand Lake, Stone Lake, and Chain Lake – comprising 2,300 acres of water ways. Our property has 140 feet of private shoreline, sandy beachfront and gradual deepening of the water for non-weedy swimming.
The cottage has a master suite and 2 other bedrooms on the main floor. 1 king bed, full, and bunk bed (1 queen on bottom and 1 twin above). 2 full baths on main level. Lower level has 3 bedrooms - 1 queen, 1 full and twin and another full and twin. Lower level also has second full kitchen and full bath. Both kitchens are completely stocked and we also have a washer and dryer for your use. We have a lovely wrap around deck with patio set and a large gas grill! Huge yard for fun family games and very large fire-pit area! Not to mention raspberry patches for you to enjoy! This home is a great retreat for all family members - including your pets if you have them. Dogs just love how much land they have to run and play on!
This property is set up perfectly for two families to share or one family to spread out. Please note that this cabin is not solely income property. It is our treasured family cabin so we do have personal items neatly tucked away in closets or out in the open for everyone to enjoy!

We invite you to experience our nostalgic lakeside standing log cottage; nestled in an area of whispering pines and birch trees. Our cottage is extremely clean and furnished with all the household amenities that will make your visit comfortable. It has a beautiful southern exposure and is a few feet from the lake. It has a its own small sandy beach and private pier.

Comfortable 3 bedroom feature, one queen in one 1 full in another and a bunk bed with full bed on the bottom and single on the top. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, cookware, coffee maker, silverware, full refrigerator, gas stove with oven and microwave. The Pinewood has direct TV premium package with HD TV and DVD player. It is also has a window air conditioner. For your outdoor enjoyment; the cottage has a large screened porch with a kitchen table to enjoy dining with the lakeview. Outside we provide a Weber grill, picnic table and fire pit. The Pinewood will provide a wonderful family vacation get away without giving up the comforts of home. Across the bay the scenery is all nature completely pristine. The Pinewood was our original cottage before we moved up to this beautiful area. My flower beds are still abundant.

The Pinewood is located on Dam Lake (797) acres and is one of a five lake chain known as the Sugar Camp Chain of Lakes. 70% of the land is owned by the state of Wisconsin. You will be hard presses to find more beautiful scenery anywhere. Wildlife abounds in this quiet bay, bald eagles, otters, beaver, ducks, osprey are sighted often. The Sugar Camp Chain is also know for its fishery. Trophy Muskie (class A lake) Walleye, Bass, Northern, Crappies and numerous panfish are in abundant supply.

The Pinewood is also adjacent to the American Legion State Forest for those who enjoy exploring the thousands of acres of forest ..or perhaps grouse or deer hunting or a remote fishing trip. Whatever your season, you will relax in the warm and friendly atmosphere of this area has to offer. Are we booked? I do have other rentals available. Rates based on a family of 4.

- "We stayed here at the end of April and it was the perfect weekend getaway for our family! Very cozy cottage and the full kitchen was perfect. Beds were comfy. Very clean. Great location from downtown and very easy to access. We would love to come back when the weather is warmer to enjoy all the amenities!" - "It was not a lot of people this time of the year. Because it is not Christmas or Summertime or Spring Break. My husband and our son went to this vacation with my husband's brother. He came from Ukraine recently. They mostly fished and cross country skied. I was not there, but I called them everyday and I was interesting about their day. They told me - beds are soft and comfortable. All lakes are not too far from this property. Also, it was a lot of snow and ice on the lakes was pretty thick. We are form Illinois and this year it was not a lot of snow and pretty warm for winter. We always want to come back to Northern Wisconsin on Summertime and Winter, any time of the year. We always check if the vacation cottage was good enough for us asking ourselves - do we want to come back? YES we want to come back to this location. Just one thing they did not like: too early Check Out time at 9:00 AM. Please make it at least at 10:00 or 11:00 AM. Thank you! The End of February - Beginning of March 2023"

- "Property Manager Miranda is the best! Immediately responded to smallest ask. Cabin was great. perfect for 4 adults and 2 kids. Kitchen - fully updated - was excellent and more than enough room to accommodate the chef son-in-law. Screen Porch was wonderful. Only small thing is could use a small (card table size) table on porch for a place to do big puzzles but we worked it out. 4 and 6 yr old blasted out each morning to get to the beach and the sand castle building. Fishing right from pier made for a wonderful experience for the little ones, who were so proud of their first catches, and got to know blue gills and bass up close. Great "options" available to get out on the lake from kayaks to small motorboat. Lake was not on chain so was quiet and peaceful and made going out with small kids very safe from any wild boaters. We eventually got "adopted" by the big family occupying the rest of the cabins. This is a great pace for a multi-family gathering and we are talking to the rest of our family for next year. Thanks Miranda for helping find a place for us."

“Eagle Villa” is a Four season air-conditioned cabin located on a quiet peninsula on Otter lake on the famous Eagle River Chain of 28 lakes.

Eagle Villa has three bedrooms, one extra sleeping common area, two baths, a large living room, a large dining area, a large kitchen with an additional eating area. The lower level has two sleeping areas and a 3/4 bath, The one central common extra room has sleeping capacity

Eagle Villa is an ideal destination for family and friends looking for a Northwoods getaway on the famous Eagle River chain. This vacation cabin is located 75 feet from Otter lake.

The main level of Eagle Villa features an open plan with a very large living room, with a futon, a couch and numerous chairs, a large eat-in kitchen, a separate dining room, a full bath, a large master bedroom with a king size bed and a second bedroom with a queen size bed.

On the lower level there is a three-quarter bath, an extra room and a bedroom. Both bedroom and extra common room have a full-size and a twin-size bed.

The three-quarter bath is at one end and a second exit at the other end. in the center is an enclosed stairway separating the two areas. One of the areas on the lower level is considered an extra room as it has direct access to the shared stairway going up and the shared bathroom for the lower level. The lower level bedroom has a second exit.

Linens and towels are provided for indoor use only. Please bring your own beach towels.
There is also a washer and dryer, a pack and play, and highchair available for your use.

For your outside enjoyment Eagle Villa has a sandy bottom for ideal swimming, a gradual slope to the water, dockage for boats on one side of a 50 ft pier, and dockage for boats on one side of a second 48’ pier. Your own fire pit including some firewood, swing-set access, Weber charcoal grill, and picnic table. A rowboat and paddleboat and 2 kayaks are also available for your enjoyment.

For your inside enjoyment there is a 47” TV, Cable. Wi-Fi, DVD player with some movies, and various games.

Eagle Villa is also available in the winter months with access to hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails, is in close proximity to hiking and snowshoeing trails. During the winter season this cabin is available for longer term rentals and could include use of a large two car garage.

The Eagle Villa cabin is part of the Otter Cove Condo association (previously the "Otter Cove Resort" consisting of 6 cabins). Eagle Villa cabin is the only rented cabin in the association and is attached to the owner’s cabin. The Eagle Villa is well isolated from the all other cabins and enjoys its own private large lawn and pathway to the lake where it shares lake shore and 2 piers with the owner’s cabin next-door.

Great views of the water, lots of room, kitchen is fully stocked for even gourmet cooking but we ate out most nights and visited restaurants the owner recommended. Loved the firepit and the private side yard. We enjoyed watching the deer, chipmunks, and even an otter while we relaxed. Some of the best downhill skiing in the Midwest is nearby and it’s very affordable and family friendly. Sledding, snowshoe trails and cross country ski trails are within minutes. Our two bedroom, one bath cottage is ideal for families or couples looking to relax and be on the chain of lakes. (The cottage can accommodate up to 6.) We are located just 1.2 miles from downtown Eagle River close to shopping, Restaurants, nightlife, snowmobile trails, biking trails and of course my favorite the Candy store.
Enjoy over 200 feet of frontage on the beautiful Eagle River chain. Included with the cottage are a permanent dock, perfect for your own boat or a rental or just merely relaxing, swimming and fishing off of.
A picnic table, gas grill, fire pit and swing. Inside enjoy our quaint sun room & Family room where you can enjoy a beautiful sunsets overlooking the water.

Pine Cabin has all the features for a Northwoods getaway! Our cabin offers a king size bed along with a twin bed and sofa sleeper. Bathroom has stand up shower, toilet, sink and towels provided. The kitchen has refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, toaster, drip coffee maker, pots/pans, plates, silverware, and glassware. Outside, guests have use of a dock slip, kayaks, rowboat, pedal boats, charcoal grill, and firewood for summer fires. Pine Cabin is one of four cottages on the property. Located on HWY 70 on the edge of the Eagle River city limits. (Exterior camera at driveway entrance to see if plow driver clears the snow in the winter season)
