The leaves were just beginning to show the onset of fall with few hues of red and orange. We took many walks around the property enjoying the woods and lake. The resort was quiet but people hanging out at the beach or fisherman taking their boats early in the morning. The pool and spa were used a few times. It should open early. The kitchen and dining were stocked to meet our needs. Beds were comfortable. We grilled out but needed to buy charcoal. I definitely will return!"

- "The location is a perfect distance tucked back in the woods, but also just 15 min away from town. The cabin was cozy and just right for 2 adults. The ceiling in the loft is a bit low and the staircase is pretty narrow, so smaller people would be more comfortable. The wood burning stove to heat the house was a bit of a challenge to get going, but once we did, it made the cabin nice and toasty! We found that when the wood burning stove got going, we literally had hundreds of flies in the loft (trying to get into the warmth). Other than those small issues, the cabin treated us well and was a perfect get away from the hustle & bustle of every day life! "

LARGE LAKE HOME ON VERY PRIVATE ONE-ACRE WOODED PROPERTY

Our beautiful and private lake home is located perfectly between St. Germain and Eagle River and Rhinelander! The home has 3+ bedrooms and two large bathrooms, and it is located on a one-acre, stunningly wooded private lot. Echo Lake is part of the famous Sugar Camp Chain of Lakes, which also provides Class A Musky fishing – hosting numerous fishing tournaments. Other accessible lakes include Dam Lake, Sand Lake, Stone Lake, and Chain Lake – comprising 2,300 total acres of water surface. Our secluded property is located on the west side of the lake, with approximately 120 feet of private shoreline, and provides gorgeous views of the lake, woods, and sun rises. A large 32-foot private pier overlooks the lake with a sandy shoreline offering a gentle sloping, non-weedy swimming area. We also have a swim raft approximately 15-20 feet off the pier which provides lots of entertainment for kids (and adults).

For those interested in winter activities, we are very close to the Bo Boen & Eagle River 500 trails, providing hundreds upon hundreds of miles of well-maintained trails. Just 2.3 miles from our house to the trail entrance -- accessible through low-traffic subdivision roads!

Our home has spectacular scenery from all rooms on the main floor and the finished walk-out lower level. The main floor has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, large family room with TV and wood burning stove (bring your own hardwood please for indoor burning), sitting/extra room w/futon, master bedroom, large bathroom (with stand-up shower & large separate bathtub), and laundry room. There is a large covered deck on the back of the house, which is perfect for sitting outside (sun, rain, or snow). First floor sleeping accommodations include a king-sized bed and two twin (trundle) beds in the master bedroom with very large walk-in closet, and a futon (and dresser) in the sitting/extra room. The sitting/extra room has a pocket-door, if privacy is needed.

The walkout lower level includes another large family room with "fake" Franklin Stove fireplace and flat screen TV, desk area, two more bedrooms (both with queen beds), another futon in the main family room, and full bath (newly remodeled) with shower/tub. Likewise, the lower walk-out has a sheltered patio and gas grill. Please note the gas grill is only available May-October.

Our long 350ft driveway is paved near the house with plenty of room for parking in front of our three-stall garage. There are several options for off-street trailer parking on the property. Guests will not have access to the inside of our garage and storage room.

The cabin features wireless Internet/WiFi via Frontier. Both TVs are connected to YouTube TV via Amazon Firesticks, for access to approximately 180 channels and local TV stations. You can also use the Firesticks to log into your own personal streaming services, such as Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc. The upstairs TV also has a DVD player and a collection of 100’s of DVDs for your viewing.

The cabin has a washer and dryer (bring your own laundry supplies), dual zone central heat/air conditioning, microwave, dishwasher, ice cube maker in the fridge, lakeside campfire pit, picnic table, gas grill, canoe, and large 32ft. private dock and swim raft. Bring your own boat or water toys, or rent from the local marinas and businesses.

The Sugar Camp Chain of Lakes offers a very private, scenic setting surrounded by the American Legion State Forest with minimal shoreline development. Most of the chain's shoreline is either privately owned or under the control of the Wisconsin DNR. The water level is controlled by a dam (on Dam Lake), so channels are typically accessible to travel between the lakes. Our lake, Echo Lake (at 93 acres; depth 18 ft.), is the smallest lake -- but also the calmest and quietest. There is plenty of room and depth for water sports (such as skiing, tubing, jet skiing, etc.), particularly as the deepest side of the lake is near our property. Likewise, activities can expand to the other lakes, which include Chain Lake (201 acres; 19 ft.), Stone Lake (178 acres; 16 ft.), Sand Lake (547 acres; 25 ft.) and Dam Lake (732 acres; 32 ft.). There are two boat ramps between the five lakes – on Chain (our preferred), and Sand/Dam Lakes.

Picturesque setting on beautiful, crystal clear Bass Lake. Located just 7 minutes east of downtown Eagle River, WI. 1.68 wooded acres with 100 feet of gorgeous, hard sand frontage. Tranquility awaits you at this cottage situated on the shores of one of the area's most sought after, spring fed lakes that features breathtaking views and great fishing. Enjoy all weather sports here, boating, water skiing, tubing, swimming, sailing, fishing, skiing, cross country skiing, hiking, snowmobiling, ice skating, etc. This lake is most desirable because it is a private, full recreation lake (no large crowds). Eagles nest in the large pines and oak trees along the lakefront. We have Otters, Loons, Turtles, Ducks, Deer, Fox, Woodpeckers and many other animals visit our lake. You will be amazed at the incredible sunsets and kaleidoscopic light show from the northern lights. If you can stay up later(midnight) on a clear night - go lay down on the pier and look up at the billions of stars twinkling in the sky. It is awe inspiring!
The cottage has a queen bed in the master, a queen pullout couch and futon in the living area and 2 twin beds(bunk) in the lower level. It can sleep 8. The kitchen is equipped for any gourmet.
Sit out on the cozy balcony to enjoy your morning coffee or evening refresher and listen to the peace and quiet. The home offers 2 kayaks with paddles, a large pier for your water toys and entertaining enjoyment. We have a shared swim platform as well. This area of the lake has a sandy bottom with a very gradual drop off - perfect for little ones. The cottage is rustically enhanced in the Northwoods theme by the full log furniture.

- "I really enjoyed my stay. It should be more apparent that there is a fairly steep decent to the lake. Also, the main housing/kitchen and shower are all up a long flight of stairs. It was fine for me, but if someone has mobility issues, it would be very difficult. I would recommend staying there, but would like people to know thoses things up front." - "The property was more beautiful than could be imagined. The shady little area right by the dock is enchanting. Sand, pine needles, moss, chipmunks eating our peanuts, eagles soaring overhead -- heaven! We figured out what the fish were biting pretty early and had great success catching several species either by wading out past the dock, or taking out the rowboat. That's all we could have dreamed of! The lake itself, the fishing, and the property were all better than expected. And the cabin was so nice and comfortable and functional, just all around we didn't really have to leave and never felt a need to explore other lakes, etc. Perfect for a couples quiet getaway! Our only unmet preference, if you will, was the neighboring property being rented out by a big family 4 of the 5 days we were there. So that did impede a bit on our intended quiet get-away from people since their dock and driveway were close and visible, but we were able to enjoy ourselves plenty regardless and would absolutely stay again. Tip: Put the keys in the lockbox right after you let yourself in! We didn't realize the upstairs doors open from the inside while still locked, and ended up locking ourselves out, and learned there was no handy spare set of keys. But Chris the owner was very helpful and responsive throughout and we were able to fix the situation pretty quickly. Sorry to bother but thanks again, Chris! Rookie mistake! All around, highly recommend, whether for a couples getaway or if bringing more friends or family to stay in the additional spaces. We can't speak to local attractions, etc, because, well there was no need to leave the property. 😊"

Our cabin has something special to offer no matter what the season. Enjoy the summer fun exploring our private, 210 acre lake, on the provided rowboats, canoes, paddle boat, kayaks or paddleboard's. Or take your own boat to the countries largest chain of lakes only minutes away. Looking for some thrills on the land? Bring or rent an ATV or UTV to explore the beautiful north woods on the trails surrounding the area.

In the fall there is no better place to see the colors than right in the middle of them, The woods explode with color and there are plenty of fall festivals and farmer markets to enjoy.

If your a winter person there no better place to settle in than our cabin which is right across the street from the snowmobile trail system that will keep you going for hundreds of miles. Or dig out the snow snoes or cross country skis and enjoy nature from within on any number of the hiking/ cross country ski trail systems. If fishing is your thing you can catch a meal or two ice fishing on our lake or any of the numerous lakes in the area.

Our cabin has 2 bedrooms ( a king and a queen bed), screened-in porch, shared playground. rowboats, canoe, and paddleboat's and kayaks are available.

- "This property is comfortable, well-equipped and true to its listing information. The one exception being we expected it to be more open to the lake. It is closer to the lake than it looks like in the listing and still has a lovely view. The woods are a bit thicker than I would have expected as you look out from the house. The house is extremely well equipped with everything you could want in the kitchen and for playing- both in the yard and on the water. All the furniture is very comfortable and everything works well. It is level from the house to the lake. Very little incline and only a couple of steps. The lake is absolutely beautiful! Very clear and very few weeds. The loons, eagles, and hummingbirds kept us company everyday.Very nice home. Thank you!"

No fish frying in the house. Only use appliances as they are intended to be used.

Damages: Traveler/Guest is required to report any property damages to the homeowner prior to checkout. Traveler/Guest is liable to pay for any damages caused by him or her whether they are accidental, due to negligence, and/or intentional. The homeowner may request payment of damages if they are in excess to the security deposit. If a traveler/guest refuses to pay for damages not covered by the security deposit, the homeowner may take legal action against the traveler/guest to obtain the excess cost of the damages. The traveler/guest will be required to pay all attorney fees.

Theft: Traveler/Guest should ensure he or she is not taking anything from the premises that belong to the homeowner; including but not limited to towels, cooking utensils, electronics, furniture, appliances, and other items available for traveler/guest to use. The cost of stolen items will be deducted from the security deposit and the homeowner may contact the police authorities to report theft.

Travelers/Guests agree to treat the home with care and respect. Please keep the property and all furnishings in good order. It would be greatly appreciated if travelers/guests took their shoes off at the entryway of the home.

Traveler/Guest agrees to clean up after himself or herself and not leave trash around the property or laying around inside the home. An indoor garbage can is located in the kitchen, waste baskets are located in all bathrooms, and one large garbage bin is located outside. 3

People other than those in the Traveler/Guest party set forth in the reservation agreement may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.

Water and Septic: The property is on a well and septic systems. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. MAIN HOUSE (1,650 sq. ft.): Has a spacious kitchen, new appliances, three bedrooms, a and two new bathrooms. The main floor bath has a full-size bath tub with a hand-held sprayer for the smaller kiddos. The lower level has the second bath, new laundry and an extra full-size refrigerator. We fished and the kids swam in the shallow water off the pier by the cottage. We frequently saw deer in the front yard and ducks in the water. . The kids affectionately named one of the ducks "Goldie" and were reluctant to say goodbye the morning we left. It was a a fun trip for our family and we would definitely recommend this location for a family trip."

The cottage, located on the South side of the property under a picturesque pine tree canopy overlooks the Tennis court at Indian Point and is a short walk from the Main House. The cottage has been fully renovated to include two bedrooms, a single bath residence provides a King sized bed and two full beds with the ability to sleep up to 6. A full Kitchen and open concept floor plan provide a great view of the custom stone fireplace, sure to keep everyone warm in the winter. In the summer months, this facility is only available in conjunction with the Main House. In the winter it can be rented independently of the main location.

Indian Point Manor is located on a beautifully maintained 9-acre property on Catfish Lake, part of the renowned Eagle River Chain of Lakes. A short drive to town by boat or snowfield, this cottage is the perfect destination to enjoy the Northwoods winter.

Winter time- you can have fun with snowmobiles right from the property, trails from this house will take you to all possible directions or you can just have ice fishing experience right on the spot, after that have relaxing time in cedar sauna.

Main floor level of this unique tiny house is only 225 sq ft that's include full kitchen with all standards appliances and stuff in order to cook , bedroom with twin size bed and full bathroom with a nice size shower.
Big windows that facing a lake will give you incredible views all day long.

Unique custom made stairs will take you to the loft area with 2 single beds and small play area with some games (kids will love it)

When you walk out from the house it will take you to a very big deck 15'x15' with patio furniture in the summer time.
In the evening you can have a great time sitting at wood burning fire pit.

- "My wife has a appeal for A-framed houses and this one was great with the addition of a sauna. The view was wonderful and cannot be really topped. For the negatives, it's priced too high for what it offers. The space is only 225 sq feet but you would be paying similar for larger cabins with similar accommodations. There's also an attached $99 cleaning fee. Which is steep considering its only 225 sqft. There's also not a lot of privacy and there are adjacent rentals near by. With large windows and sliding door with no blinds or curtains towards the lake, you could share more than you desire. There's no TV, nor really anywhere to sit if its chilly or rainy outside. There are a couple of bar stools inside but not the most comfortable over time. If the main bedroom was converted to a daybed or something that could tranform into a sofa, than this would increase the comfort rating. Then the loft area could become the master if the twin beds were pushed together. This would require elevating the bed slightly or relocating the heating vent though. Overall great place, but room for improvement for the prices they're charging. "

The space
The Musky Cottage was carefully designed and meticulously decorated to provide a warm, inviting space for your family and friends. The spacious Northwoods interior provides a lakeside living room and gorgeous stone fireplace. The open concept kitchen, dining and living room is blanketed in natural light, illuminating the locally milled pine shiplap interior. The lake views are wonderful. New stainless-steel appliances include a full-size refrigerator, microwave, disposal, automatic dishwasher and natural gas range. The fully stocked locally crafted kitchen cabinets are a dream-come-true for home cooks. The incredible screened porch offers a shaded haven to be enjoyed throughout the day. The porch includes beautiful wicker chairs and a wrought iron dining table, as well as gracious seating areas to relax and enjoy.

The Musky Cottage has three bedrooms and one full bathroom and comfortably sleeps 8. Bedrooms 1 and 2 have queen beds. Bedroom 3 has a double bed. There is also a comfortable sleep sofa and a washer/dryer. Linens and towels are provided for your use.

Jimmys Lakeview Vacation Rental cabin is located across from Duck Lake (part of the Eagle River Chain of Lakes) and offers a great place to stay for your Eagle River vacation. Cabin is only 2 miles from downtown Eagle River and within walking distance to Sweetwater Bar and Grill and Kickback Grill. There are two public boat landings and Eagle Lake Park within 1.5 miles and is also located on the snowmobile and atv/ utv trail.

The space
This is a 100 year old cabin completely renovated. Complete with all new appliances and furniture including smart TVs and free WiFi.

Guests have access to the whole property (excluding basement).

This cabin has a double bed in one room & bunk beds in the other. This cabin accommodates 2 adults & 2 children or 3 adults. We do not put adults in the top bunk. Cabin and Grounds are a completely non-smoking area. Our cottage is part of a resort (The Last Resort).

Our cottage is located on the Chain of Lakes - 28 interconnected lakes. We have a big sandy beach located with a western exposure for sun all day long. Free use of kayaks, paddle boat, and a canoe. Pontoon & motor rentals available.

This cabin has a beautiful view of Kathan Lake, which is a 210 acre private lake with no public access. So only you, or other owners that have cabins on Kathan Lake will be able to enjoy the serenity, the fishing, the eagles, the loons, the beach, and the sunrises!!

Our cabin has something special to offer no matter what the season. Enjoy the summer fun exploring our private, 210 acre lake, on the provided rowboats, canoes, paddle boat, kayaks or paddleboard's. Or take your own boat to the countries largest chain of lakes only minutes away. Looking for some thrills on the land? Bring or rent an ATV or UTV to explore the beautiful north woods on the trails surrounding the area.

In the fall there is no better place to see the colors than right in the middle of them, The woods explode with color and there are plenty of fall festivals and farmer markets to enjoy.

If your a winter person there no better place to settle in than our cabin which is right across the street from the snowmobile trail system that will keep you going for hundreds of miles. Or dig out the snow snoes or cross country skis and enjoy nature from within on any number of the hiking/ cross country ski trail systems. If fishing is your thing you can catch a meal or two ice fishing on our lake or any of the numerous lakes in the area.

This waterfront cabin sits in a serene spot on the peninsula in Paradise Lake, an 81-acre body of water frequented by panfish and smallmouth bass. It's incredibly convenient to St. Germain in one direction (six miles northwest) and downtown Eagle River in the other (13 miles northeast).

The interior has all the character you'd hope for in a Northwoods cabin, offering wood-paneled walls, beamed ceilings, and windows that frame the pines and the lake just beyond. The main living space is delightfully open, with a well-equipped kitchen, a dining space, and a living room all facing each other. Slide open the glass doors to sip your morning coffee on the deck, barbecue on the gas grill at sunset, or build a campfire in the firepit near the water's edge. Or, simply cozy up inside streaming a favorite show on the living room TV.

The cabin is located very close to the heart of Eagle River, yet secluded enough to enjoy your nightly bonfire in the back with no one in sight! Fox Den is not on water, but the setting is wooded and serene! The cozy cabin surrounds you with beautiful tongue and groove pine interior. The full kitchen is nicely appointed for your cooking needs. We are dog-friendly.

The space
There are two main floor bedrooms, each with a queen bed in it. There is also an open loft with 2 twin beds. There is 1 bathroom with a stand up shower. There is a very private back yard for the dog to play and have a bonfire. Friendly deer will often visit you there as well. There is plenty of room to park your trailers. The ATV and snowmobile trails can be accessed right from the driveway. The T docks boat launch is just down the road to get into the Eagle River Chain of Lakes. There is a washer and dryer on site.

Other things to note
The cabin is not on the water, nor is there a water view. The chain can be accessed from the public launch just down the road or through the public beach/sandbar.

This very inviting guest house offers a well-equipped, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar for two, an intimate pub-height table for two, and a comfortable living area with a gas fireplace and a TV for streaming all your favorite channels. You'll also find a screened sunroom for relaxing afternoons or quiet evenings.

Outdoor fun is right at your fingertips with two docks (each around 40-feet in length) for tying up your boats, swimming, or fishing. Clean your catch in the shed located behind the home complete with a water station and bait fridge. 4-Wheel / All-Wheel Drive recommended, especially during inclement weather to access the property, as the driveway is steep.

A code will be provided to grant access to the smart lock for the main entrance. The code will be personalized to each guest and enabled only during the booking window.

The entire 1 acre lot and property is available for the guest. There is 115' of private lake frontage available on a private lake. The driveway to the property is on the end of a private drive.

We request a photo ID of at least one adult from each group based on a recommendation of our attorney as a best practice.

A Note About Dogs:
We LOVE dogs and we want our guests to enjoy their vacation with the whole family, including the furry members :-) Up to two dogs are allowed at this cabin with prior approval. That being said, please be mindful of whether our home is appropriate for your dog(s).

We may not be the vacation rental for you if your dog(s):
*Consider barking to be a favorite pastime;
*Chew things other than bones;
*Like to visit the neighbors unsupervised (we do not have a fenced-in yard), and/or;
*Use the house as a bathroom.

We ask that your dogs be supervised when at the cabin and crated when you are not (One large crate is available at the cabin - please give advanced notice so we can make it available). Also, it should not need to be said (but unfortunately needs to be, as we have had guests leave enough surprises for us), but PLEASE pick up after your dogs!! WELCOME!

This is our family’s “Guest Cabin” and smaller of the two on property. It is newer, built in the 50’s by my great grandfather and grandfather, and is situated the closest to the Eagle River.

In addition to the two bedrooms with queen beds, there is a sun porch overlooking the river with a recliner and desk, perfect for lounging or working. There is also a full couch and air mattress for extra sleeping options!

TOP-O-THE-CHAIN CABINS!

You can hike, boat, kayak, fish, bird-watch, ATV, and enjoy many other outdoor activities on over 30 acres of riverside woods and trails. Or you can rest easy by the campfire...

We are called Top-o-the-Chain because we are uniquely situated the furthest upstream in the Eagle River Chain of Lakes.

The historic Burnt Rollways Dam is the end of the Eagle Chain and the start of the Three Lakes Chain. Together they make up the largest freshwater chain of lakes in the world!

As part of being situated exactly between the Eagle and Three Lakes Chain of Lakes, you can take a 10 minute walk up our river road to the Burnt Rollways Dam and Boat Hoist.

Our property has a small boat launch and dock on site or you can launch on the high side of the Dam and have it hoisted down to our side. We are very close to the Dam, and a little further down Meta Lake Rd road is another boat launch on Cranberry Lake to avoid hoisting at the Dam.

We share an easement with the Dam and they offer additional trails for exploration. You can watch boats being “hoisted” from one chain of lakes to the other, and have your boat hoisted for a small fee.

May/June: Hoist opens yearly the Saturday immediately preceding Memorial Day. Open daily 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
July/August: Open daily 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Reservations required for passages between 6 and 8 p.m.
September: Open daily 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Closes yearly on the last Sunday of September.

Burnt Rollways Boat Hoist Fees and Rules

Fees:
$10.00 per boat for each one-way passage.
$15.00 per boat for each round trip passage.
$35.00 for a six (6) passage punch card. Cards available at the hoist. Punch cards do not expire.
Two (2) jet-skis may be hoisted at the same time and are considered one (1) hoist for $10 or $15 for a round trip.
Rules:
Reservations required for 6-8 pm passages during July and August.
Hoisting outside regular dates and hours by appointment only, $50 fee, one way.
No person nor animal may remain aboard during passage on the hoist.
Delays may be encountered on holidays or weekends when more people are boating the chain. We suggest you plan ahead to avoid congestion.
Please be alert to observe all safety regulations, channel markers, and water route markings. Reduce to "no wake" speed in marked channels. Please report any obstruction in marked channel to the hoist operator.
Rest rooms and picnic tables are available for your convenience. Please use the waste containers provided and help keep the area clean.

Canoes are not hoisted. An extra charge is made for craft requiring special preparations or alterations to accommodate it, i.e. houseboats, construction barges.

SUCH EQUIPMENT IS USED/MISUSED ON THE PROPERTY OR USED/MISUSED OFF THE
PROPERTY. (hereinafter the "Activity"); and
IN CONSIDERATION OF my desire to participate in said Activity and being given the right to
participate in same;
I HEREBY, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, or personal representatives
(hereinafter collectively, "Releasor," "I" or "me", which terms shall also include Releasor's parents
or guardian if Releasor is under 18 years of age), knowingly and voluntarily enter into this
WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY and hereby waive any and all rights, claims or causes of
action of any kind arising out of my participation in the Activity; and

CPR, the use of AEDs, emergency medical transport, and sharing of medical information with

responsible for any costs incurred as a result of such treatment. I am aware and understand that I

I FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE that this Activity may involve a test of a person's physical and
mental limits and may carry with it the potential for death, serious injury, and property loss. I

participate in the Activity.

THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY SHALL REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR THE
DURATION OF MY PARTICIPATION IN THE ACTIVITY, DURING THIS INITIAL AND ALL
SUBSEQUENT EVENTS OF PARTICIPATION.
THIS AGREEMENT was entered into at arm's-length, without duress or coercion, and is to be
interpreted as an agreement between two parties of equal bargaining strength. Both Participant,

invalid or unenforceable, but that by limiting said provision it would become valid and enforceable,
then said provision shall be deemed to be written, construed and enforced as so limited.

Guests can access the whole 30+ acre property and adjoining Burnt Rollways trails.

When split, $10 “Bearhug Bundle” Firewood for guests is seasoned, split, and stacked in the Wood Shed with wheelbarrows available. If there is no wood already split, please feel free to split the birch logs that are in the woodshed. There should be some splitting axes, sledges and splitting wedges in the woodshed. Use at your own risk and please be careful!

Outdoor items like water toys, outdoor games, grills, etc., can be found in the Pump House. Please leave the water pump alone. Thanks!

Other things to note
Our 1/4 mile river driveway sometimes gets bumpy so drive slow! We have half of it newly gravel and the other half will be a work in progress this season!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.
We are 20 minutes East of Eagle River. We are a 5 minute drive from the boat landing.
There a many hiking trails near us. Vilas county has a great app with information and directions on how to access the trails.
There are also ATV and snowmobile routes close to us.
We have 150 feet of lake frontage. About 50 feet of it is accessible for swimming. There is NOT sand. It is a rock bottom. We recommend water shoes for your comfort.

The space
Our property is located on Kentuck Lake on 6 acres. The house is just shy of 1100 square feet.
There is NOT a TV. We have lots of board games and puzzles for guests to enjoy.
There is NO WIFI.
You are able to bring your own boat and dock at pier. We have a wood pier. We do not have bumpers on the pier, so keep this in mind.
For your outdoor enjoyment. We have a picnic table, gas grill, fire pit, wood (free for guests), and outside collapsible chairs.
For outdoor sports we have 3 paddleboards and 3 kayaks. We do have life jackets available. The children ones are limited in sizes but we have plenty of adult. We will need to know in advance if you will be wanting to use any of these items because they are locked in a shed.
We also have a blowup volleyball net for the water, some pool noodles, and water hammocks. There are also 2 hammocks on the shore to sit and relax in.
If you need fishing poles let us know and we can have some available. The fishing off the pier is fun if you have worms. There are a lot of bluegills and pumpkin seeds that children enjoy catching.
The fishing on the lake is great by boat. We have caught bluegill, crappie, pumpkin seed, perch, rock bass, small and large mouth bass, walleye, and muskie. We do have a fishing boat with a 50 horse motor. We may be open to renting it out but my husband will have to vet the person first. This boat can not handle pulling tubes or skiers.
There is also a wood stove in the cabin. There is heat and a/c too.
We are 20 minutes East of Eagle River. We are a 5 minute drive from the boat landing.
The listing does say 8 people. We do have a queen blowup mattress that can be setup in the living room for another person or 2.
There is a full kitchen and NO dishwasher.
There is bedding, bath towels, and beach towels available. There is not a washer and dryer as of 5/13/24. (This could change in the coming months.)

Other things to note
Google Maps has trouble finding our location. Once booked, we will give you written out directions for our location. Arriving during day light hours is the best, at dark it is hard to find because we are in the woods off a service road.

Beautiful north woods setting with a quiet stream in back. A quiet secluded place where you won’t see your neighbors while having a coffee on the front or back porch. We have a canoe you are welcome to use to explore the river. It leads to Watersmeet lake which is part of the Eagle River Chain of Lakes. Excellent fishing. Easy access to snowmobile trails in the winter ride direct on sleds from the property to the trails. Only a few minutes to town but it seems like you’re in the Boundary Waters.

The Eagles Nest is a 2 bedroom log sided cabin on the scenic shores of Dam Lake's Pike Bay. The lake is 797 acres and the largest of the 5 lake Sugar Camp chain. It is right on the lake. It has a large screened in porch for enjoying your evenings without the bugs. You have your own pier with a bench and a campfire pit. It is a great location for enjoying all that northern Wisconsin has to offer.

The cabin has a full kitchen. There is a television with a dvd player. The bathroom has a shower & plenty of hot water! There is a ceiling fan and air conditioning. Outside there is a picnic table and charcoal grill.

The space
Cabin 1 is part of 7-Mile Pinecrest resort just 11 miles east of Eagle River on the very quiet and serene 7-Mile Lake. The resort has been run by the same family for over 50 years and is known as the "unwinding" place.

Cabin 1 ir Lakeside is one of the eleven cabins the resort operates and over the decades has easily been the first and number one choice of our guests due to its location as the closest cabin to the lake and the many beautiful views it offers.

Last year the cabin was totally gutted and renovated to like new condition with many custom touches.

The large deck is inviting and beckons you and your family and friends to enjoy meals, games and relaxing times at water's edge. A dock and the beach are just steps away.A second, smaller grilling deck totally secluded by woods and the lake whispers to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee in the morning with only the sound of a distant loon.

Two large bathrooms make it easier for larger groups to enjoy the cabin. One of them has a full tub and the other a large shower.

Most of our customers are repeat business and return year after year. Many have been coming for decades. This speaks to their satisfaction they enjoy with their families vacationing here. There are very few dates available during the busy summer months of late June, July and the early part of August. If you are interested in a rental during the summer months, we will try to accommodate you, but offer first right of refusal to our numerous returning guests. Please make a special request for the summer rental dates and we will do our best to work with you.

Rarely in the past has the cabin been rented outside of those summer months. But with the renovation, the cabin is now ready for spring and fall guests to enjoy as it is now a true four season cabin.

The resort offers a boat ramp, trailer parking and docking area for those that want to bring their own boat. There are also many canoes, kayaks, stand up paddle boards and aluminum row boats available for our guests' use.

The beach just 30 feet from the deck offer a gently sloping access, safe for children to play literally all day as our grandchildren will attest to.

The fall offers some of the best times to be in the Northwoods and at 7 Mile in cabin 1. Fall fishing for musky, walleye and smallmouth is at it's finest. The hundreds of thousands of acres of the Nicolet National Forest which surround the resort, provide numerous trails for hiking, biking or ATVs. The colors of the autumn forests reflecting in the quiet waters are unmatched. Local wineries, breweries, restaurants, along with festivals such as Cranberry Fest and Colorama invite you to enjoy. And there is a true Northwood's grouse or buck ready to test the hunter's skill.

This is the only cabin with free Wifi available right in the cabin from the satellite dish.

The King bedroom with walk in closet & 43" Smart TV and nearby full bath is located in the basement while the two bedrooms with 32" Smart TV's are located on the main level share another full bathroom. Once we have accepted your reservation we will email a contract to be completed to your personal email address. The contract needs to be completed with 48 hours and returned. Once we receive the contract we will send our guest book with details of the area so you can plan your trip in more detail. Within 1 week of check in we will send check in information.

Prior to arrival, you will receive an access code to allow entry into the home. Linens, extra blankets, bath towels, wash cloths and the basic starter paper products are provided for your stay! Fully stocked kitchen bakeware and utensils etc. are available for your use.

This cabin is the only cabin we have and rent on the property. You are not sharing docks, frontage, furniture, fire pit, grill, and grounds with other guests.

We have 200 feet of sand frontage that is just a step down of an inch or two from the grass shore. The bottom gently slopes making it great for lounging or children playing.

We have our own boat launch, no need for crowded public launches. Rental boats are delivered and picked up at our dock. No crowded marinas to deal with.

Originally a restaurant and general store built in the late 1960's, this building is literally on the water. The original owners rented houseboats until the chain became developed. Waves literally go under the building and affords you your own private dock as well as a private boat launch right on our property. The old kitchen has been converted to consume grade appliances, but is still very large for a small cabin. The old dining room is a combination living, dining, and bedroom that can easily accommodate up to six people in dormitory style sleeping arrangement. You share 200 feet of prime frontage with my wife and me. We are close enough to assure a trouble free stay, but far enough away to assure your privacy. We off a flat screen TV, WiFi with up to 300 mps down and 12 mps up speeds. Free use of a gas grill including gas, your own dock, and use of two more docks for fishing or sunning. Lynx Lake is a quiet lake, but offers access to all 28 lakes on the chain.

Our rates assumes you will provide your own sheets & towels. We can provide them for an additional charge. Dogs are allowed for an additional fee depending on the number, size, breed, & age of the dog.

We can refer you to local third parties who rent pontoon boats and jet skis. Their rates range from $100 per day to $1,200 per week. We have our own private launch on our property, so they deliver right to your door.

If everyone else looses power, your vacation continues with our generator backup. When the power goes out, you still have water, hot water, lights, Internet, TV, stove, microwave, and Air Conditioning. Why cut your vacation short because you have no power. We always have it!

“Up north down to earth" is our town slogan & that's the vibe we are after with our home. The home is designed for families in mind but we get plenty of adult trips booked as well, especially during the snowmobile season. I have spent most of my summers in the north woods and have so many special memories I hold dear to me. My goal is to create a space that provides the opportunity for families to create their own memories with their kids in hopes that someday those kids will share those same experiences with their children.

The home is made to be used. If you're expecting Egyptian sheets and 5 star accommodations you may be disappointed. I make up for it with 5 star service and good wholesome family fun. The best way to describe it would be it’s like an Irish farm house, a little rough around the edges but the inside is fit for a king…or queen!

The heart and soul of my home is the kitchen. You will be hard pressed to find a more beautiful, functional and ergonomic kitchen in the north woods. It combines all of today’s finest amenities with old world charm and craftsmanship. Brand new black stainless steel appliances (besides the white oven for now, switching over to gas in the fall and it will match the rest). A modern sink with some of fanciest gadgets you will find on the market. The ctops are made from a granite known as the river rock of stone, Black Marinace from Brazil. The cabinets are made of rustic hickory/walnut. It’s truly a one of a kind kitchen that’s built for the chef and designer in mind. I value quality time with family around the kitchen table. For me, cooking in this kitchen creates the atmosphere for creating special memories. I spend a lot of time prepping and making meals. Everybody sits down and an hour later it’s gone, along with several bottles of wine and cocktails. Haha. Hopefully we have a great memory from that experience. The kitchen gets used everyday to make a meal. It’s a magnifying glass that goes on to whoever is using it. If you’re using it and making a meal and memories that transcends out. I like that feeling and I think that’s cool and worth every penny!

The main hang out area is in the log cabin. Board games (infinity game table), dart board, ping pong, poker chips/cards, bags and an arcade game with about 400 preloaded 80’s/90’s classic video arcade games. The TV in there has several streaming services available to you including HBO, Hulu, Paramount, Starz, Peacock, Apple and Amazon. This room also has a futon, a queen bed and theater seating (the most used piece of furniture I have, will be updating it when something else becomes available...it works fine but does show signs of use and wear). This room leads into one of the bedrooms which then leads into the living room/kitchen. Guest bedroom has a twin bed and a bunk bed (full size bed on the lower). Plenty of counter space and two recliner sofas in the living room. DVDs and local channels are set up on the TV. Good WiFi connection. Master bedroom off the living room w/ a king bed. There are four points of entry. The main door off the log cabin, a sliding patio door in the log cabin that leads to the back yard, a back door off the kitchen that leads to the backyard and a front door off the living room that faces the main road.

The furniture is newer but is used because I do allow pets. I love dogs and it’s impossible for me not to bring my dogs with me on vacation. They love it up there and its impossible to wipe the smiles off their faces. I'm sure yours will love it as well. 90% of our guests are typically busy during the day adventuring around town, around the lake or on a trail and then coming back to it for the evening to cook dinner and then sit around the campfire or in the game room. The house gets very little use in all actuality. It’s best used as a home base to rest and use in the evenings but there's still plenty to do at the home if weather derails any of your plans.

The back yard has some impressive towering white pines and is completely fenced in. There are two fire pits total and a picnic bench down by the water. The waters edge is about 40 yards from the main cabin. There is a bit of a incline and about 15 steps that lead to the dock. No ones had a problem with it yet but could pose a problem for anyone with a disability. There is a handrail.

FUTURE PLANS
There is a lakeside guest house that currently is not in service but hoping to have it ready by summer '26. The guest house is setup as a duplex atm. I believe I'm going to keep it that way. If you bring extended families up that gives each family a bit of privacy when they want some down time. Each side of the duplex has a full kitchen, 1 large bedroom, small bathroom with a shower and a spacious living room. You literally cant get any closer to the water and the views are superb. No one else will be staying on the property during your stay or working on it, whether you want to use the guest house or not.

Down the road, hopefully within 5 years, I would like to build a gazebo with an outdoor kitchen w/ a lounge area and full bar. Hibachi grill, wood fired pizza stove, a garden with fresh herbs and veggies and a more elegant fire pit. BIG PLANS FOR THE FUTURE!

You have access to the whole house except for the laundry room and the master closet. There is another closet to hang stuff on but the walk-in is locked. Garage is also locked. If anything is needed for your stay, such as extension cords or a compressor, please let me know before your stay. No one will be staying in the guest house by the lake.

MAIN HOUSE (1,650 sq. ft.): Has a spacious kitchen, new appliances, four bedrooms, and two new bathrooms. The main floor bath has a full-size bath tub with a hand-held sprayer for the smaller kiddos. The lower level has the second bath, new laundry and an extra full-size refrigerator. The lower level was finished in 2021 to include a large bedroom and games area, complete with a dartboard and foosball table.

BUNK HOUSE CLOSED FOR WINTER. (SUMMER RENTALS: Bunk House is 10' away but is perfect for the kiddos. A 13 x 24' space with a Queen bed and three Twin XL Bunks. The cottage has seating area, beautiful water views, tv and games galore and of course very good Wifi. The bunk was remodeled down to the studs in 2018. The bunk house sleeps 5. )

The cottage is located in the center of the Eagle River Chain of lakes between Eagle Lake and Otter Lake. The Knotty Pine Cottage + Bunk is our family's retreat. We open it to other families who will treat it like their own home. The Knotty Pine has a local caretaker who checks in during your stay to make sure you have everything you need.

-3 night minimum in the off season, 6-7 day rentals only during the peak summer months.

- Local property care taker does an on-site check at some point during rental to make sure you are well cared for.

- Weekly rentals only in the summer months.

- Linens are provided, bring your own beach towels.

- There is NO SMOKING allowed on the premises. Inside or out. If you or your guests smoke, please find a different place to rent.

- No parties or events are allowed.

- Free Wi-fi in both Cottage and Bunk.
