Pinecone retreat is a newly built cabin in 2008. It is in a great resort, Spiderlake resort. We are on a chain of 5 lakes. The cabin has a great view to the water and just down the hill is your dock. A little further over are 2 more docks and a swimming area.

This cabin is in a great recreational area. There are many other lakes nearby. Snowmobiling and ice fishing in the winter and ATV riding in the summer.

Just 5 miles away is Birchwood with many restaurants and shopping. There is also Doolitle park a great place for the kids to play. Just Rite on Main is a great shopping experience enjoyed year round.

Pinecone retreat is also setup for crafters. We have tables and chairs and a mini kitchen. Scrapbookers love to come here for a peaceful place to work on their projects.

Our cabin is nestled on the east side of Big Lake Chetac offering beautiful views of the lake and fantastic sunsets. Big Lake Chetac is known for its fishing and water recreation. Enjoy coffee in the morning in the screen porch and a bonfire at night in the firepit next to the lake. The cabin has two bedrooms, bathroom with shower, living room with pull-out couch and gas-burning fireplace, family room with wood-burning stove, a/c, furnace, and a fully-equipped kitchen. We have DirecTV, a DVD player with a good collection of movies, as well as books and games for your entertainment at those times when you can drag yourself away from the water. We now have wifi!! You will find a charcoal and gas grill outside. We have a dock for your boat or for great fishing. We are located 25 miles north of Rice Lake and 20 minutes south of the famous tourist destination of Hayward, WI. There are ATV trails just down the road and two nearby boat landings. This quiet cabin can provide a relaxing getaway or a memorable family vacation. We rent Friday to Friday in the summer months and two night minimum in the fall, winter, and spring. We are located right on Ten Mile Lake in Chetek WI. Inside you will find an all stone gas fireplace and pine siding just right for a northwoods retreat. We have a full kitchen and bathroom. There is a dining area and a couch to relax on and watch the water or the fire. The bedroom on the main floor has a queen size bed and upstairs you will find a sizable loft with a TV/VCR and a futon. Pull the shades for a cozy romantic evening or let the sun shine in and enjoy the sceenery. Outside there is a semi-private yard, fire pit, and picnic table for each of the two sides of the cabin. There is also a shared dock with a pontoon that is available for rent, and a play structure with a sandbox.

For me the location on the lake wasn't ideal, the other times I've stayed on Chetek I enjoyed fishing from the pier, I didn't think of it till on the way home I could have tried fishing with something like a top water frog. The Whitetail Cabin is a secluded, yet easily accessible property that is spacious both inside and out. Inside, Aspen beams and decor provide a true Northwoods appeal with comfort and style, while outside is a peaceful and relaxing country view. Just 3 miles North there are thousands of acres of public land open to hunters and hikers. 20 minutes west are the Blue Hills and Christy Mountain ski resort with both downhill and cross-country skiing. There are excellent trout streams here as well. The Thornapple River is almost a stones throw away from the cabin and is excellent for a kayak or canoe float with great bass and musky fishing. The big rivers, the Flambeau and Chippewa, are just 5 and 15 minutes drive. They both are world class rivers for musky, bass, pike and walleye fishing as well as tubing which is very popular here. Lakes are too numerous and varied for description but offer excellent fishing, swimming and watersports.
Fall brings deer, bear, duck and grouse seasons as well as spectacular fall colors. It is possibly the finest season to visit northern Wisconsin.
In winter, Rusk County offers many miles of well groomed snowmobile trails with the trail passing right by the cabin. You can step right out of the cabin and on to your sled! There is room for parking several trucks and trailers so large groups are welcome.
In addition to the multitude of woods and water sports, all summer long there are county fairs, festivals, rodeos, logging competition, dirt track racing, casinos and so much more all in easy driving distance.

The living room is next with a comfy couch, matching rocking chair, and a Big Joe bean bag for comfort. The Smart TV is just above the mantel for watching all your favorites. Fluffy pillows and a plush blanket included!

The laundry room is located just off the living room and contains a washer, dryer, and cleaning supplies.

If you walk through the sliding glass door out onto the deck, you can relax and take in the fresh air. The propane BBQ is also there and ready for whatever you'd like to grill up!

Back inside, the full bathroom is located off the kitchen and contains a lovely deep soaking tub, as well as all of your essentials such as shampoo, conditioner, body soap, etc.

The King bedroom is next with a huge comfy bed and cabin style linens, black out curtains, an electric fireplace, and a Smart TV. The fan/light is programmable with lots of options! Inside the closet you will find tons of games including Giant Jenga and a corn hole set for outside.

The space
The Pines is one of three rustic, stand alone cabins, along the north shore of the property. Standing 40 feet apart, each cabin is equipped with two bedrooms, common room, bathroom, and a small kitchen with all of the necessities.
The Pines sleeps five, with two queen sized beds and a futon. There is a short dock located off the back side of the cabin. To the east, are three of the 5 docks located on the property.
We have a pontoon and kayaks for daily rental. The pontoon is $150 per day, and kayaks are $10 per day. Please message us for availability. If you have a boat to bring, there is a boat launch just one mile from the property.
Enjoy fishing, a personal fire pit, shared fish house with running water and electricity, and all that this wooded location has to offer.

This property is just a few steps from the Tuscobia Trail. A remote parking area is available for your trailers, unload your machines once and ride all week! The northwest Wisconsin region is an incredibly beautiful recreational area that is loaded with unique and fun activities and adventures. Join the festivities in nearby towns; swim, fish, bike, canoe, boat, eat in or out, golf, mini-golf, shop, hunt, ride snowmobiles and/or ATVs. Endless opportunties to see wildlife or scenic drives.

The space
The main floor consists of a huge living room, an eat-in kitchen, 3 of the 4 bedrooms and 1 of the 2 full bathrooms. There are televisions located in the living room and each of the bedrooms and the house is wired with cable TV and Wi-Fi. The living room has 3 sofas, 2 of which are full size hide-a-beds, 2 very comfortable vintage chairs, new carpeting and plenty of space to spread out and relax!

The updated kitchen was completely remodeled with all new wood cabinets, new countertop , a stainless steel sink and durable but attractive laminate flooring. Included are a refrigerator, stove, microwave, Keurig, 12 cup drip coffee maker, toaster, slow cookers, pizza spinner, blender, Instant Pot, electric frying pan, dishware, cookware, utensils, towels, and more! Just bring your groceries and save money by cooking your own meals! In the back closet you will find the extension leaf for the kitchen table which increases seating to at least eight! We also provide hand soap, dish soap, trash bags, paper towels, and trash bags.

The 3 main floor bedrooms are nice-sized and comfortable with new carpeting and all linens and comforters included. Bedroom #1 offers a queen-size bed, an armoire and nightstand and TV/cable. Bedroom #2 offers a twin-sized bed, 2 dressers, a closet and TV/DVD (no cable connection). Bedroom #3 offers 2 twin beds, massive dresser, closet, night stand and TV/cable.

In the basement you will find a full sized washer and dryer, the newly completed 2nd full bathroom with an extra large beautifully tiled shower, and the newly completed 4th bedroom. This bedroom has 1 dresser and a small night stand and can be configured as a king bed or 2 twin beds.

Schmuck's Trailside Retreat is under continuous upgrade. We are currently replacing the siding and installing new windows throughout (between customers and other projects so progress has been limited).

The fourth bedroom and second bathroom, both located in the basement, are fully functional now but haven’t received their final coat of paint yet. We are also adding central air which will be up and running shortly but the window units are still keeping the place comfy for now. When using the laundry facilities in the basement you can peek behind the wicker panels to monitor the progress of the rec-room that will all be available for your enjoyment in the coming months!

Housekeeping:
Cleaning is included with your stay. We simply ask you remove used sheets and pillowcases (please leave blankets and pillows on the bed) and place them downstairs in the laundry area along with used towels, washcloths and dishcloths. Please tie up your garbage and place in the can outside behind the front porch.

Spacious cabin with an open floor plan and vaulted ceiling. Pine wall and ceiling paneling throughout, as well as amazing views of the lake, provides the perfect cabin setting. One of the two bedrooms on the main floor has a sliding-door walk-out, putting you literally steps from the lake!

We have modern amenities such as high-speed WiFi, a 50" TV in the main living area and 50" TV in the bedroom in the loft.

A gas fireplace warms the entire cabin in a few minutes, but additional wall heaters are available in each bedroom on extra chilly nights. An air conditioner is also available for the heat of summer when the breeze from the lake just doesn't cut it.

Two kayaks and a paddle boat are also available to you at no additional cost!

Hungry Lake Hideaway is an Amish built tiny cabin in the woods of Wisconsin near Chetek. The 6.5 acre wooded property includes private access to Hungry lake where guest use of 2 kayaks and 1 paddle board is encouraged. There is a swim raft that is the perfect spot to tie up your kayak and jump in the lake, lounge on, or even stargaze from. This is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. Everything you need to enjoy a weekend or week-long stay is already provided. Cleaning Fee $55.

The space includes a loft with a single bed, a loft with a queen bed, and a full size futon on the main floor.

We do not allow dogs or cats on the property due to severe allergies. Please leave your pets at home or at a pet boarding establishment.

The pantry closet is stocked with some basics (COFFEE!) and leftovers from our last excursion. Feel free to help yourself in case you forgot the chips for your salsa, the butter for your toast, or the sugar for your coffee. And while we appreciate karma, please do not leave any opened bags or containers because we do not want to attract mice!

We wish we had better waste services to offer. We ask that you please do your best to separate out recycling from trash and take it all with you when you leave.

The Oaks sleeps five, with two queen sized beds and a pull-out couch. Approximately 75 yards to the east are three of the 5 docks located on the property. If you bring a boat, you can tie up on any one of these new docks, and we have space to park your trailer.

This is a single level, no stairs home. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and one with a full. We also have 2 air mattresses and a hand pump. The bathroom has a large step-in shower.

The grounds are all accesible except for the mechanical/storage room inside the cabin. We have a charcoal grill, fire pit, picnic table and camp chairs available for your use. The grill, charcoal and lighter fluid is located in the small shed beside the driveway. Camp chairs are there also.

Nestled in the towering white pines on the shores of Lake Chetek lies this one of a kind cottage for you to escape to. With over 100 feet of your own lakeshore and one of the most unique cottages around, a stay here will be remembered for years to come.

The space
Inside the front door you will find the main bedroom off to your left with a double bed and a woodsy feel. Two large windows showcase the view out into the pine forest. A nice kitchen area is off to the right to prepare your meals. The kitchen offers an electric stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and toaster oven. Located off of the kitchen is a dining room with stunning views of the lake below that glows with bright sun in the afternoons. A large table with six chairs allows families and friends to gather together to share a meal. As you pass through the kitchen area and enter the great room, you will instantly be taken back in time when Prohibition era Chicago mobsters caroused in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. This two-story lofted room offers a comfortable seating area with a TV, couch, and two chairs to sink into after a long day exploring the lakes. A brick fireplace frames the space with nostalgic vibes. Step out to the sun porch and you will feel like you are on the water with the many windows allowing incredible views of the lake nearby. Two twin beds are situated on the sun porch. Personally, this is where I would sleep every time with the sounds of the water rolling into the beach and birds chirping in the woods nearby. A wonderful breeze coming off the lake helps you sleep like a baby. Back into the cottage and you will notice that there is a lofted area with two upstairs bedrooms. Each bedroom offers a double bed and twin bed. Perfect for families with a smaller child that would like to have their child sleep in the same room with them. Both upstairs bedrooms have smaller windows with views of the treed area around the cottage. The highlight of the property is the lakeshore. With over 100 feet of your own beachy shore, you can sit and watch the boats go by, listen to the campfire crackle, or just watch the water roll into shore. There is a 40' dock extending into the lake that you can tie up one or two boats, fish, or just dangle your toes in the water from.

The space

Situated on the Chetek Chain of Lakes, this property offers access to over 3,700 acres of water—perfect for boating, fishing, and soaking up the lake life. You'll love the nearby marina, charming shops, and great local restaurants, all just a short ride away.

Please enjoy our lovely cabin, Sunshine on The River, located on the beautiful Yellow River near Spooner and Shell Lake, WI. (2 hrs. from Minneapolis/St. Paul) The cabin sits on 3.5 wooded acres with a beautiful view of the river and a private dock! Hear the sound of the river as you relax and enjoy nature at it's finest!

The space
This cabin is newly remodeled, very clean and inviting! The beds are new and comfortable. New appliances, grill & firepit. Fully equipped kitchen, large 3 season room (used late spring through early fall depending on temperatures) patio with fire pit, propane grill and furniture.
There is a flat screen TV for viewing movies. Some toys, games, puzzles, DVDs, etc. available. Private dock for launching canoe or kayak, fishing or just hanging out. There is lots to do in the area...lovely beach just 6 miles away in Shell Lake, many lakes within a 30 min. radius, unique shops, golf courses, unique places to dine, live music in the summer, town festivals, rodeo, rails to trails for biking and snow mobile trails near by. Enjoy the peace and quiet of this quaint little cabin on Kirby Lake. If you are looking for rest and retreat, this place is for you! The cabin is open concept with the living space, dining, kitchen, and bathroom on the main level. The loft boasts two twin beds that each pull out into a king, as well as a pull-out couch downstairs. Enjoy the tranquility of a sunset paddle, evening campfire, the call of loons, and the simplicity Stuga Wald has to offer.

The space
Our family cabin is located along a quiet gravel road, offering a wooded oasis and retreat. “Stuga Wald” means “cabin in the woods” and sits on the shore of a small wooded lake, home to lots of wildlife. Enjoy your morning coffee on the dock as the resident loons welcome the day, or cap off the night with s’mores around the fire. Stuga Wald is rustic while comfortable, and great for small families, couples, or individuals. A wonderful space for a writer's retreat or remote working, with all the comforts of home.

Cumberland is also home to many restaurants, shops, boutiques, and small-town charm. You also have Shell Lake and Spooner to the north, and Rice Lake to the east. Only 2 hours from the Twin Cities and from Duluth, there is much to enjoy about Wisconsin's Northwoods!

Spring/Summer/Fall – Enjoy fishing, a paddle in the kayak, canoe, or SUP, and swimming off the end of the dock. Hammocks are available. There are lots of great hiking trails nearby, including the Ice Age Trail at Timberland Hills, as well as ATV routes.

Winter – Enjoy ice fishing, snowmobiling, or cross-country skiing on the lake or nearby groomed trails. There is also a great ice-skating rink in nearby Spooner, as well as an extensive cross-country trail system.

We hope you enjoy your stay and find the respite and relaxation you are seeking! We are thrilled to share our little “cabin in the woods” with you.

Check-in is by lockbox. Details will be sent as your arrival date draws closer. Ample driveway parking is available. Please do not park on the road.

Other things to note
The loft ceiling is at a slant and may be challenging for tall people. The pull-out couch on the main level is a great alternative for sleeping. Likewise, the steps to the loft may be steep for some. A railing is installed for extra comfort. Also note that the bathroom is small, but it includes a shower stall and does the job!

We do have neighbors on both sides most weekends during the summer. Please respect their privacy and space. Due to our lodging license, we are not able to accept pets or additional guests, and we do not allow parties of any sort. The pontoon is not available for guest use. Thank you for your cooperation.

The Orchard Shed is a newly built shouse nestled at the foot of the Blue Hills There are 3 spacious bedrooms a large living room and kitchen. Christie Mountain ski resort and rock climbing is 4 miles away. Find Devils Kettle and other hiking adventures in the hills. Cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails. Snowmobile trails from your back door. UTV trails just down the road. The quiet calm of the apple orchard brings in deer and birds. Don’t miss the beautiful sunrises in the morning.

Our cozy cabin serves as a retreat for nature lovers, adventurers, and those simply looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Located on 5 acres in Bruce, WI. Seconds down the road from us is the Blue Hills, Christie Mountain Ski Resort, the Ice Age trail, ATV & snowmobile trails, and thousands of acres of public land for hiking, hunting, snowshoeing, and more. Children and pets are welcome when you stay with us!

The space
There is a short driveway leading to the cabin when you arrive at the property, with plenty of parking room for multiple vehicles. When you enter onto the front porch you will find two swivel lounge chairs and footrests as well as a large wooden picnic table for outside enjoyment...

When you enter into the cabin through the front door to your left you will find the kitchen, bathroom, and small dinette table. To your right, you will find the open living room with two couches, a rocking chair, a TV entertainment stand, and a gas fireplace for heating in the cold months.

The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, and two coffee makers (a large drip and single-cup Keurig). Provided in the kitchen is also pots and pans, cooking tools, utensils, plates, bowls, drinkware, coffee mugs, wine glasses, and some cleaning supplies. The bathroom has fresh towels.



Outside on the edge of the wood line, you will find our brand new fire pit area overlooking the woods and creek. We invite you to use this space to reconnect with nature and submerse yourself in solitude. Whether that's by yourself, your significant other, friends, or family members!

Enjoy the incredible lake view of this historic, newly remodeled cabin. The kitchen and bathroom are brand new. The living room and bedrooms reflect the history of the cabin. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a double bed. The living room has a full-size pullout for extra sleeping space. The kitchen has all needed utensils. We also supply a charcoal grill and recently installed high speed wi-fi. Rent one of our pontoons by the hour or by the day.

Other things to note
In order to ensure that we have the proper amount of bedding and towels in your cabin, please be sure to accurately list the number of people staying with you. Also, please include any dogs that you are bringing in the "pets" spot on the reservation. We provide dish soap and hand soap. Please bring your own shampoo, body wash, etc. Thank you.

With an abundance of deer and turkey that will likely be roaming during your stay, it will make for a tranquil visit for a memorable vacation. Sitting on the deck watching the sunrise and sunset over Greely Lake and rolling fields can be just what you're looking for. Greely Lake is surrounded by farmland and three other properties. The lake's limited usability makes it perfect for its views and paddle boat rides. In addition, the cabin's large yard makes it perfect for anyone wanting to relax.

Unwind in the Northern Retreat Condo located on Chetac lake. Occupants have a beautiful view of the lake even with a large number of trees & additionally have lake access that covers about 2,000 acres and has a depth of 35 feet. Recreational activities such as swimming and fishing are encouraged. Occupants can fish for perch, bluegill, crappie, northern, bass, & walleye. Vacationers can clean the fish in the fish house just a couple of feet away from the cabin & enjoy a great lunch or dinner.

Great place for snowmobiling , skiing, ice fishing. Public boat landing is just around the corner from the cabin. Bring your own boat as we have a private dock. outside games for kids to play, kayaks and paddle board for use as well. Also a fish house on premises to use just please clean up after your self. You can use the paddle board but we are not responsible for any kind of injury or accident but if you damage it you are responsible to fix it or buy a new one.

Other things to note
Due to past guests not following the reservation and bringing extra guests in without us knowing or paying for , this forces me to charge a 50.00 dollar per night per guest fee. I have also installed security cameras outside the house so this situation will be monitored . Thank you .

The Birch Lake Bungalows are our family cabins located on Birch Lake in Birchwood, WI. When we are not able to be up at the lake, we want to share our little piece of heaven with you! We have 2 cozy 2 bedroom cabins sitting just steps off of beautiful Birch Lake. This listing is for the Loon's Nest Cabin. Birch Lake connects to 2200 acre Chetac lake (easily accessible by boat), both of which offer an abudance of fish including; panfish, northern pike, walleye and bass. A fish cleaning house is on site for you to conveniently clean your daily catch! This property rental comes with your own private dock; at which you are welcome to dock your boat for your entire stay. Pontoon rentals are available just down the road. Birch Lake is also home to the beautiful Doolittle county park and public beach! The Tuscobia state trail runs nearby and offers 74 miles of trail open to ATV riding, snowmobiling, walking, bicycling, and horse riding. Both Birch and Chetac lake offer several lakeside bars and restaurants for all your entertainment and dining needs! If that isn’t enough, the town of Birchwood is just minutes away.

Each cabin sleeps a maximum of 6 people (this includes children). This is a strict maximum due to the septic system ability. If extra guests are noted on security camera you will be asked to leave without refund or pay an additional $50/additional guest/day.

County line lake is an excellent lake for pan fish, spend time on the dock fishing or explore yard games provided for some family fun!
Cruise ATV trails or hiking trails, access to these trails is just down the gravel road from the driveway!

THE INDOOR SPACE:
Enjoy scenic views while staying warm by the fireplace on those cooler nights! Find kitchen essentials for your baking and cooking needs. Washer and dryer are available for your use. Bathroom essentials such as shampoo/conditioner, towels, washcloths, hairdryer and beach towels. TVs includes many streaming apps and we offer a DVD player with DVDs for all ages!

We have kids in mind… find a child's desk, books, puzzles and board games suitable for many ages. 4-in-1 High chair is great for the younger kids and a pack and play is also available.

For the adults, we didn't forget about you, we have two yoga mats, several books and games for your use.

PARKING:
Parking for 3 vehicles is available in the driveway. On street parking is not allowed.

PETS:
Bring your furry friends to relax with you! Many pet amenities available for you such as two XL kennels, dog bowls, treats, two tie outs and a sky run!

• Take it outside down a few stairs to the back patio and lounge on the couch to smoke. Ashtray provided.

2. Absolutely NO parties!
• Only 6 guests are allowed. Upon approval registered guests may be allowed on a case by case basis for daytime visits only.

3. Check in /out
• Check in time 3pm
• Check out time 11am

4. Quiet Hours
• Quiet hours are strictly 10pm to 8am.
• Please be respectful of the neighborhood, this is a very quiet lake so any noise does echo very easily to our neighbors across the lake

5. Cameras
• 2 cameras on the property. One is the doorbell at the front door and the other is a flood light on the garage facing the driveway. Please do not tamper with these cameras.

6. Pets: No Extra Fees!
• We expect your pets to be crated in a kennel when left unattended or if they are not house trained. Two XL dog crates are provided.
• Pets must be leased when outside or clipped to the sky run or tie outs that are available for your use.
• Clean up after your pets waste (outdoor garbage bin provided for pet waste)
• Be responsible for your pets!

7. Please respect our lake! This is a private lake (no public access). Our wonderful neighbors on the lake live here and honor this lake greatly. Please follow DNR regulations for fishing bags limits. We ask that you please just be responsible and catch and release as you can to respect the integrity and preservation of the lake.
