Gathering Place Resort & Lodge is a recently renovated campground in Birchwood where guests can make the most of its private beach area and terrace. This beachfront property offers access to a patio, tennis at the tennis court, free private parking, and free Wifi. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the campground's outdoor fireplace, or simply kick back and relax. The campground provides guests with a balcony, lake views, a seating area, a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a microwave, and a private bathroom with shower and a hair dryer. A toaster, a fridge, and stovetop are also featured, as well as a coffee machine. At the campground, the units are equipped with bed linen and towels. The Birchview Suite Duplex lower Level is a unique cottage that features an open concept between the fully stocked kitchen and living room. It boasts 9 ft. barn wood ceilings throughout, as well as exposed aggregate stone floors with in floor heating. The living room walls are made with real birch logs from our land! This cozy bungalow has a beautiful field stone fireplace to keep you toasty on those cold winter nights. The view is awesome with lots of windows lakeside to enjoy the beautiful Birch trees and of course all the wild life on Tuscobia Lake. Two french doors lead out to the spacious flagstone patio entrance area from the great room and the master bedroom. A great space to just sit and relax. There is also a fire pit fully stocked with wood, dining table, and grill for you to use. The Birchview Suite lower level is totally closed off from guests who are staying in the upper level. The entire upper and lower levels can be booked as one unit by calling Stonehaven Resort. We have a private dock 1/4 mile from the cottage and offer complementary use of kayaks, row boats, and canoes! We also have a pontoon for rent. Plenty of hiking and biking opportunities can be found on and off the resort. State Trails are also nearby.

The Birchview Suite Upper level is a duplex and has an open concept. The living room has a large picture window to enjoy the Birch trees and Tuscobia Lake. It also boasts a gorgeous fireplace with a unique driftwood mantel. The dining area has a french door and sliding patio door that both lead out to the large wrap around lakeside deck with a grill. The upper and lower level cottages are totally separate from each other, but can be be booked as one whole unit as well by calling our resort. (715) 234-2789
