We’re doing a complete remodel of our Otter Place cabin located on the southwest shore of beautiful Lost Lake. This 2BD, 1BA cabin accommodates up to 6 guests.

You'll love the warm, cozy feel of this cabin when you enter with the beautiful pine paneled ceilings, doors & trim, rustic hickory cabinets and the Northwoods decor throughout.

In the well-equipped kitchen, you'll not only appreciate the built-in appliances which include a dishwasher and microwave, but you'll also find plenty of dishes, pots & pans, and other items such as a crock pot, Pizzazz, electric frying pan, blender, hand mixer and more!

The cabin will have central A/C for those hot, humid days and forced air heating for days that are colder. Enjoy the 42" flat screen, wall-mounted TV with YouTube TV, Netflix & Prime services, and the FREE Spectrum Premier Wi-Fi (up to 500 mbps) provided for our guests.

The attached deck will be a great place to lounge outside and enjoy the beautiful nature and animals of the Northwoods. There's a charcoal grill and picnic table for outdoor cooking/dining, and a large wooden swing for you to enjoy. You'll have your own fire pit with 4 Adirondack chairs...FREE firewood provided.

Otter Place has a private dock. The swimming area out front of the cabin is sandy and great for swimming.

An aluminum rowboat is provided with this rental property. The boat is licensed so you're able to bring/rent a motor and add it, if you'd like. Feel welcome to use the 2 kayaks w/paddles. Possible pontoon boat available to rent during your stay. Inquire if it is available.

Connect to the famous Bo-Boen Snowmobile Trail and the St. Germain ATV Club Trail at the end of our private road. We also provide direct access to the lake in the winter for snowmobilers. There is plenty of parking space to accommodate your trailers, too.

Guests who enjoy fishing will appreciate the remodeled fish cleaning house on the property with its 10' stainless steel sink and running water. It's available to our guests year-round...whether fishing in the summer or ice fishing during the winter season.

Have a large group wanting to rent? In addition to our Otter Place cabin, we also own the cabin next door…Gone Fish Inn (completely remodeled in 2019), and the lake house two doors down…Whitetail Ridge (newly constructed in 2018). Our current guests are given the first opportunity to rebook for the following year so if you're interested in starting a yearly tradition, Otter Place, Gone Fish Inn, and Whitetail Ridge are great places to choose for your family vacation. Most of our guests have been coming since day one!

You can also sled into town or head north to connect to hundreds of miles of groomed trails throughout the Northwoods.

The Mohawk is a cozy 2 bedroom cabin with a free standing gas fireplace on Big St. Germain Lake. Beautiful lakefront view with a sandy beach area for swimming and a community fire pit for campfires. The firewood is provided for the fire pit. You will have your own pier and right on the lake. It is a great location for enjoying all that northern Wisconsin has to offer all year round.

The cabin has a screened in porch for relaxing without the bugs. There is a full kitchen. We have cable television and a dvd player. There are ceiling fans in all of the bedrooms and living room. A warm homey cabin in a small quiet resort located on the east shore of Big St. Germain Lake, close to downtown St. Germain, and walking distance to hiking and ATV trails. Enjoy the 1600 acre beautiful lake just footsteps away from the front door or explore local attractions then retreat back to this cozy cabin to relax with a glass of wine. Continuously updated, the cabin is devoid of taxidermied deer and squirrels, vintage signs, and Christmas lights. However, the modern rustic decor still lets you know you are in northern Wisconsin. The cabin has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with walk-in shower. The master bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and the second bedroom has two cozy twin beds. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, large subway tile, and bright morning sunshine coming through the windows. Offering maximum value, complete with limited towel service, fully stocked kitchen with cooking essentials, and an outdoor seating area with a fire pit.

The cabin is "Unit 1" located in Deer Run Resort and is independently managed to offer guests a more personalized service. The resort is safe and relaxing for families with small children, offering a beach and swing set. Other amenities include a fish house for cleaning and filleting your catch if fishing is your thing, a volleyball court, and other vacationing families to interact with! The cabin faces west and the sunsets are spectacular! Also, the property offers level frontage so there are no clumsy steps to get down to the lake. The shoreline by the resort is relatively shallow for a good 75 feet out with a sandy bottom. Also, there are three piers on the property to dock your boat. If you are interested in renting a boat let me know and I will work with an individual I know well and try to secure you one.

What you need to know:

*Daily housekeeping is not provided, the cabin is clean when you arrive and gets cleaned after you leave. You are expected to leave the cabin as per the "check-out procedure" located in the unit. If you have questions about what that entails, please ask.
*A grill and charcoal starter are provided but you will need to supply your own lighter fluid and charcoal.
* The kitchen has a stove, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, air fryer, and a Pur water pitcher.
*The limited towel service includes 4 bath towels and 4 hand towels for the stay. Please bring your own kitchen towels, beach towels and even bath towels if you think you need more than 4.
*Toilet paper and paper towel are not provided. However, I always try to leave you some.
*The kitchen is equipped with glasses, wine glasses, plates, silverware, and cooking items.
*No fireworks are permitted on the grounds. Seriously, forest fires are real!
*I will supply propane for the outdoor heater. If you run out, I will get it resupplied as quickly as possible. If you want a bonfire there are fire pits on the property. You will need to stock your own wood. Please completely extinguish your fire before leaving.
*If needed during your stay, there are basic cleaning items like a Dyson cordless vacuum, cleaning products, and broom and mop located in the unit.
*Check-in is 3:00pm and Check-out is 10:00am.
*The fireplace inside the unit is decorative only. Fires are not allowed inside.
*The first aid kit is located in bathroom under the sink.

The 'Timber Wolf Lodge' is a northwoods rental unit constructed new in June of 2004. It is a two bedroom, two bathroom unit with an upstairs loft providing additional sleeping space. Both bedrooms have a queen size bed. It is a very spacious rental lodge and also offers a sleeper sofa in the living room. Kitchen appliances and accessories, WIFI, Cable TV, DVD player, Bluetooth Sound Bar and microwave are included. This northern Wisconsin rental lodge also has a beautiful fireplace, snack counter with bar stools and its own private deck with patio furniture and grill. Sorry, but no pets are allowed.

The Spirit River Flowage is a 1200 ac. full recreation river. Guests can enjoy the serenity of the woods while also enjoying lots of water fun. If you like to fish, The Spirit has walleye, perch, crappie, northern, panfish, and small-mouth bass. And, for our winter guests, you have access to the snowmobile trail and great ice fishing.

We have three quaint and cozy cabins that each comfortably sleep four.

Each cabin has been renovated inside and out with new, knotty pine bathrooms and updated appliances.
The newly installed heaters will readily take the chill off cool mornings as you awake to the soft rustling of leaves, waves lapping the shoreline and the call of loons. Big Saint Germain Lake is one of the premier fishing lakes in northern Wisconsin. You can find lake details on the Wisconsin DNR website.
Although we do not have a private boat launch the public boat launch is just 1/5 mile to the west of us.

Deer Ridge is located in the great northwoods of Wisconsin! This area provides YEAR-ROUND activities for the entire family. Deer Ridge has been completely renovated and sits on the shore of Big St Germain Lake. It is nestled among 100 year old pines. The shoreline is sandy, shallow and excellent for swimming.

Big St Germain Lake is a 1600 acre Class 'A' Musky lake. It also offers many other species of fish (panfish, small and large mouth bass, northern pike, crappie and others). A new 14' jon fishing boat is included. In addition, Deer Ridge shares access to 2 kayaks, a canoe and a row boat. Pontoon rentals are also available nearby as well as jet skis from the local marina!

Deer Ridge is only minutes away from a variety of the Northwood's best hiking and biking trails, including the new paved St Germain Bike Trail with its gentle terrain. Awassa Nature Preserve Trail and Fern Ridge Hiking Trail are close by. Golf, horseback riding, shopping, dining, and much more are available year-round.

St Germain's winter wonderland offers ice fishing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing on the nearby trails and snowmobiling. The scenic Bo-Boen snowmobile trail is adjacent to the cabin.

Deer Ridge has a knotty pine interior with comfortable sofa, rocking chair and leather chair. A table and 4 chairs shares a corner of the living room. The TV is wall mounted above the fireplace. The cabin sleeps up to 5 people. The galley kitchen is fully equipped (don't forget to bring your own food!). There are two bedrooms, with a queen and twin in the master and two additional twin beds in the second bedroom. The queen bedroom features a sink or wash basin in addition to the bathroom with a single stand up shower.

Fisherman's Cove is a 2 bedroom cabin with queen size beds in each bedroom. The cabin works best for 4 people. (We only do Saturday to Saturday weekly rentals during the Summer season but inquire if you need an exception and we will try to work with you.)

Middle Gresham Lake - Is a smaller fishing lake that gets weedier as the summer goes on, especially on our side of the lake. Great pan and large mouth bass fishing with some Northern Pike and a rare Musky and Walleye as well. We are the only cabins on this side of the lake.

The Boulder Junction area has 50+ miles of scenic paved bike trails (and growing) so bring your bike!

Big Bear Hideaway Resort Cabin #1 in St Germain is a newly constructed 2-bedroom log cabin located on the St Germain River with access to Pickerel Lake. This unique cabin has all the modern amenities along with the traditional northwoods log cabin appeal.

Cabin #1 is 1 story with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a tub/shower unit. Please bring your own bath towels. Bedroom 1 has a queen and bedroom 2 has two twin XL beds. The open concept living room and kitchen area has raftered ceilings and large bay window for beautiful views of the river. The cabin has a fully stocked kitchen, modern appliances, and smart tv.

Enjoy quiet, breath-taking views over 160 Acre little portage lake through 80-ft pine trees! Serenity at its best! The cabin sits atop a slope down to the lake with a perfectly placed, picturesque fire-pit overlooking the lake. The stairs to the lake are lit with woodsy light posts that guide you down to the sandy shoreline dock and dry boathouse. Disclaimer—the stairs are much steeper than moderate, but not a cliff, there is a railing to assist. Anyone with trouble going up/downstairs, please be advised. On the lake you'll find great fishing (largemouth bass & crappie, plus plenty blue gill, perch and Northern Pike ). You can also explore the lake and its offshoots with 20’ Pontoon 40hp four-stroke (pontoon needs to be pre-approved disclaimer) paddle boat, 2 kayaks or rowboat with 55lb trolling motor (bring your own battery for rowboat trolling motor) which are all included with your stay and can be found in the dry boathouse. Get ready for incredible sunsets and lots of pictures! On the inside, the cabin has an open 960-sq. ft. floorplan, including a wood-burning fireplace, knotty pine walls, full kitchen (Weber gas grill outside too), 14x14 Screened in Porch, dining area, and laundry in the basement. 55" Smart TV and DVD Player in front room- also you can plug in a device you have with you, there is fiber optic Wi-Fi in the cabin. One of the bedrooms has a queen bed, and the other has a Bunk Bed Full/ Twin with a private half-bath. Queen sofa sleeper and a large couch for extra sleeping space. The main Updated bathroom includes a stand-up shower. Neighbors are close, but there are lots of trees on the 1.0-acre lot . There is a Swim deck that you can use as well (community with neighbors) just to the right of boat house with ladder- Experience true peace and quiet, stars that you didn't know existed, and all that up North has to offer! This is truly a perfect North-woods getaway! NO A/C in cabin - have a couple fans, also no access to public launch - you can carry kayaks, paddle boards and canoes down from property.

Our sweet lakefront retreat is a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom, beautifully updated vacation rental with great outdoor space including a private dock, expansive deck with comfortable lounging furniture, table with 4 chairs, 2 oversized hammocks, gas grill and beautiful fire pit area . Direct access to Little Spider Lake!

The space
Enjoy your morning coffee with a view in our relaxing sun room with 2 separate seating areas. The main living space includes a 55 in. TV with Chromecast, Blue-Ray DVD player (with many movies), dining area and stocked kitchen. Brand new vinyl plank flooring was recently added to the sunroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. (TV does not have cable/satellite service, but has movies to watch on DVD or BluRay!). Our WiFi is from StarLink a beta satellite connection. Because it is satellite you may experience brief periods of interruption. It's not ideal for Zoom or video calls but is a great fast connection and works well for streaming.

With direct access to Little Spider Lake, you can easily spend your day fishing or cruising the lake. 4 kayaks (including 2 fishing kayaks) and a paddle boat that seats 4 are all available for guest use! The lake is a fully recreational 225 acre lake that is home to Musky, Bass, Northern Pike, Crappie, Bluegill, Perch and Walleye. Please note there is no sandy entrance to the lake and our protected bay has vegetation. This home is also very close to the Vilas County snowmobile trail system. We have 2 adult bikes to use on the extensive trail system in the greater Vilas County area. Woodruff with restaurants, a wonderful brewery and shops is less than 5 minutes away. The heart of Minocqua with shops, restaurants, trails, etc. is 5 miles from the cabin.

The cabin sleeps up to 6 people, between its two bedrooms and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The first bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has two twin beds and there are ceiling fans in both rooms.

Note: Wood-burning interior stove is not available for use.

The fully stocked locally crafted kitchen cabinets are a dream-come-true for home cooks. The incredible screened porch offers a shaded haven to be enjoyed throughout the day. The porch includes beautiful wicker chairs and a wrought iron dining table, as well as gracious seating areas to relax and enjoy.

The Musky Cottage has three bedrooms and one full bathroom and comfortably sleeps 8. Bedrooms 1 and 2 have queen beds. Bedroom 3 has a double bed. There is also a comfortable sleep sofa and a washer/dryer. Linens and towels are provided for your use.

Warm/cozy 2 BR knotty pine lake cabin, fully furnished and ready for couples and families with kids to enjoy swimming, boating, water skiing, fishing, relaxing and unwinding together with a sunset you'll remember forever. Short drive to restaurants and shops but far enough away from the crowds.

This cabin shares a wall with another cabin. Each is its own unit with its own kitchen, own private bathroom, 2 bedrooms and living area. There is a connecting door to the other unit with locks on both sides. Contact me for more information or about renting both units.

Private boat ramp for easy access to launch your boat (or rent from a local marina) and tie up to one of our private piers.

Quaint Summer waterfront cabin, nestled in the hemlocks with a large fire pit looking out on the 100 ft of waterfront. Enjoy the crystal clear lake - swimming, fishing, boating. Many activities as well in nearby Crandon and at Waters Edge (local restaurant with weekly waterski shows in the summer). Enjoy breathtaking sunrises while sitting on the front porch or the Dock. Listen to the Loons as the sun is rising and setting. During the day you can enjoy the large grass area behind the cabin.

The space
Towels and bedding provided. Also included are down comforters for those cold nights. 2 stand up Paddle boards available for use on the lake. For outdoor cooking, there is a Charcoal grill, cast iron pans and a Texas swivel for cooking over the fire pit. For indoor cooking or cooking on the patio, there is an electric skillet. In the kitchen, small electric stove with oven and the necessary pots and pans for most cooking needs.

Other things to note
Dogs are welcome, but we ask that they stay off the bedding and the furniture. We do charge a Pet Fee as hosting pets require extra efforts by the cleaning team that is locally sourced.

Renovated cabin on Squash Lake. 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, sleeps 8 people, beautiful waterfront property perfect for a fun, relaxing and affordable family getaway. Squash Lake is a spring fed, crystal clear, 398 acre lake with an average depth of 22 feet. The lake is great for recreation and fishing. Fish type include; pan-fish, northern pike, walleye, smallmouth and largemouth bass. The lake provides great summer and winter fun (fishing, skiing, swimming, kayaking, four wheeling, snowmobiling, etc.).

The space
Historically, these cabins were built in the early 1900's and used as an old logging camp. We purchased the property in late 2019 and opened Squash Lake Resort in 2020. The property consists of a newly remodeled house and three updated cabins. This single cabin has a full kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. Each bedroom has a double bed. There is also a sofa sleeper and futon bed in the living room.

We have 12 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, a paddle boat, a canoe, and life jackets available for use with your rental. The beach is 75 ft of waterfront that is a shared space. We also have a pontoon boat and jet ski available for rent.

Other things to note
The cabin is pet friendly, however, there is a pet fee of $100 and $50 for the second dog. Guests must inform us about their dog(s) prior to arrival. We expect you to clean up after your dog(s) both inside and outside of the cabin. Please be respectful of other guests.

Three night minimum stay requirement during the summer months (June, July and August). Harley Fall Ride guests welcome.
