The iComfort bed has a remote control where you can move the head or foot of the bed up or down or TV or Zero Gravity mode and others. (note - no dogs allowed on the bed) There is a non-pullout leather sofa and a 5-foot-long chaise lounger in the living room that two kids could sleep on (or you could use a small air mattress in the living room).

Max capacity for the cabin is 4 people. (Two is optimum)

There is a Blueray DVD player, and there are also Amazon Prime movies and a Roku for your viewing pleasure. There is a stereo system for great music in the living room and bedroom (and even outside if you like) including Sirius XM stations. You can also bluetooth music from your phone or laptop through the stereo receiver to the speakers in the living room, bedroom and behind the cabin.

The cabin has a new floors, and newly remodeled bathroom and kitchen that is fully equipped. The bedroom has a large window with a gorgeous view of the lake and is furnished with two queen memory foam beds. The living area has a couch and dining room table. The cabin is two levels, guests have access to the main level with a separate door and lock. Owners have a separate entrance to the upstairs (you can request owner not to be there). You can enjoy your coffee sitting on the deck overlooking the lake. The property also has an outdoor fire pit. Bring your own kayaks or canoes for a up close view of two different ship wrecks. The cabin has been remodeled but does have uneven floors and some windows that cannot be opened. The bathroom is rather small. Please be careful where the grass meets the rocks, there can be hidden holes. There is NO TV or WIFI. Cell reception is spotty. Contact us for pets and events.

It is located on the top of the Bayfield peninsula, less than a mile from beautiful Little Sand Bay beach on Lake Superior, and approx12 minutes from Bayfield.
There are gorgeous hiking trails, such a Frog Bay Tribal National Park, located within minutes from the cabin. There are also marked walking trails directly on the property itself.
The cabin has a very efficient woodstove, which is the primary heat source, but it also has a minisplit for heat and air, if necessary.

The cabin had everything we needed for the week, was very clean, and had its own trails in the back of the property that was great for a morning hike with our dog. The cabin offered indoor activites such as board games, books, and TV for when you want to relax inside and the 3 seasons porch was amazing to sit in the mornings and drink coffee. Awasishkode (meaning ‘beyond the fire’ in Ojibwe) is located less than a mile from Little Sand Bay Beach/Campground. This cozy, rustic cabin features accommodations for 6 people. Two twin beds in the upper loft area (no guard rails in loft so be cautious), 1 twin daybed with a twin trundle underneath and a full size futon downstairs. Mini fridge and freezer, complimentary coffee bar, outdoor charcoal grill, fire pit, picnic table/area, fresh water stream, hiking and wildlife! There is a porta potty with a lantern inside. There is electricity along with lanterns and flashlights but no running water. The campground down the road has potable water. There is a space heater on the small shelf near the coffee bar. Please reach out at any time if you need and I will do my best to assist if I’m able to.

There are pay showers located at the nearby campground for $4/shower. You will need quarters if you intend to utilize those.

Parking is available at the beginning/top of the driveway, to the left when you first enter the driveway. Please do not drive further down as you may get stuck if muddy. You can fit 2 vehicles there.

We did have a dog visitor frequently during our stay which was fine but might bother people with little kids. - "Everything about this cabin exceeded our expectations. Everything leading up to the trip, including communication and personal accommodations needed, was fantastic. Check-in was smooth and the entire place was easy to navigate despite a blizzard rolling into town 24 hours earlier. The cabin is cozy in the most luxurious sense. Everything is new, clean, comfortable, and modern. The kitchen is ample enough to cook every meal and the living areas feel so much bigger than any sort of “tiny house.” The amenities were fantastic for either a short or long-term stay. The road that runs between the cabin and the lake is quiet and was infrequently traveled during our stay which made for peace and solitude with nothing obstructing the views. We absolutely plan to visit again during any season!"

A mature forest and a beautiful pond are what you'll see when you arrive at this cozy, secluded, full log cabin.
The cabin was recently completely renovated (Mar/April 2025)from log to log and is stocked with everything you'll need for your stay. It has all new appliances, furniture, fixtures, bathroom, cabinetry. 💚
It is the perfect homebase to relax after a long day of hiking Frog Bay, Houghton Falls, Lost Creek Falls, Meyers Beach, or shopping in nearby Bayfield, Washburn, or Cornucopia.

The space
The Squirrel was recently remodeled to make it a more open concept, Trappers cabin-like feeling.
The outdoor space has a fire pit next to the pond with four Adirondack chairs, a tripod for over the fire pit cooking, a propane grill, seating area with umbrella.
There is also a screened porch for relaxing in a bug-free environment.

Guest access
For recreation, you can hop on your bicycle and ride a mile down to the sandy shores of Lake Superior or you can drive your ATV or snowmobile right out of the cabin driveway and explore the Bayfield area and the Wisconsin State trail system.
There are 10-acres of beautiful, wooded trails on the cabin property to walk and explore.

The space
This tiny cabin allowed us to combine several things that we love: Bayfield, forest, vines, a minimalist-Scandinavian style, a deluxe sauna, plunge pool/outdoor bath, and hospitality. We hope that a clean and uncluttered space will be just what you need to unwind on your holiday. By keeping the inside spaces simple and elegant, we invite the outside views of the forest and vineyard to be center stage for your eyes.

The kitchen and bathroom are modern and stocked for convenient living, cooking and bathing. Coffee lovers will enjoy the Keurig machine and coffee pods. We provide beach towels for your Lake Superior beach and boat trips, and bath robes and slippers for your sauna use.

The bedroom is a loft space and is open to below. The bed and bedding are luxuriously comfortable and fitted with high quality linens.

NOTE: To accommodate the loft and small living area, the stairs are somewhat steep and narrow. These may be difficult to navigate for those with mobility limitations. Likewise the free-standing bathtub is deep. We have a stepping stool and stability handle for access, but this may also be difficult for those with mobility issues.

Other things to note
We made our first wines last season! Totaling around fifty bottles, we made a lovely dry rosé wine and a white wine that turned out to be adjacent to a dry Riesling. Our vineyard is planted with cold-hearty varietals, specially bred to endure deep snow and long, sub-zero winters.

Half of the vineyard is planted in L'Acadie Blanc which is frequently likened to Chardonnay for its body and texture, but more recently it has been compared to Sauvignon Blanc because of its grassy, often citric aroma profile.

The other half of the vines are Marquette grapes, which are a cousin to Pinot Noir. These are award winning cold hearty grapes that are high in demand, but short in supply.

Secluded, cozy 2-story chalet in the Brickyard Creek community just 5 minutes from Bayfield. Surrounded by nature yet near town, the ferry line and all major tourist attractions. Private Queen master suite, loft Queen bed will sleep 4 total. Two baths. Fully stocked open kitchen concept with counter bar. Gas fireplace. Screen porch furnished for outdoor living & dining. The space
Le Petit Chalet features an airy, open concept layout. The main level features a spacious master bedroom with Queen bed that walks out to the screen porch. Upstairs features a 3/4 bath with Queen lofted bedroom that overlooks the fireplace and living room below. Living room boasts a faux leather sofa, Roku TV and soundbar. Full kitchen with built-in wine cooler and breakfast bar is perfect for entertaining. Living area extends into large screen porch with formal dining space.

Pedestrian Safety
The roads in Brickyard Creek are part of its trail network. Please drive at 15 mph or less for pedestrian safety.

Parking
Guests are allotted space for two cars or motorcycles. RVs, boats, trailers and snowmobiles are not allowed to be parked at the cottage. Arrangements can be made to park them at nearby Roy’s Point Marina for a small nightly fee. Please contact the manager for space in advance of your arrival.

Noise Ordinance
Please note BYC has a noise ordinance in effect from 10:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m.

Smoking Policy
Le Petit Chalet is smoke-free, including in the screen porch area. Please step outside to smoke. Please ensure your cigarette is entirely put out before you step back inside. In the dry season, wildfires can easily start from a partially put out cigarette.

Fires
Brickyard Creek is campfire-free. There is a community fire pit located near the marina beach by the Gazebo. There is usually firewood available there that you may use. Please DO NOT forage for wood. Avoid roaring fires and pay particular attention to wind conditions. Before leaving, ensure the fire is out.

Fireplace
You are welcome to have a fire in the gas fireplace. The cabin is equipped with a carbon monoxide detector and a fire detector.

Flora
BYC cottages were designed to exist within a natural wooded setting. During their construction, few trees and flora are disturbed. In this respect, we ask that you refrain from picking or damaging wildflowers and plants around the cabin or on the trails. Please keep to the actively maintained trails and roads and avoid walking into the unkept areas of the wood.

Beach & Marina
The beach by the Marina is for guest use. However, the Marina is privately managed and is not for guest use unless you have rented a slip. Please DO NOT take chairs or furniture from the clubhouse down to the beach. Note also that there is NO PUBLIC RESTROOM at the beach.

Trash and Recycling
We will take care of your trash and recycling when we come in to clean. However, if you need to to take them out during you stay, they can be disposed of at the Brickyard Creek dumpsters located just past the intersection of Roy’s Point Boulevard and Brickyard Creek Road (refer to your BYC map).

There are two dumpsters: one for garbage and one for recyclables. The recycling dumpster is only for CANS, PLASTIC & GLASS. NO PAPER.

Holding Tanks
Le Petit Chalet has a holding tank, not a sewer or septic system. Please do not run water unnecessarily and do not flush anything down but toilet paper. When the tank is close to being full, an alarm will sound. If that happens, please contact us immediately.

**Note** To silence the alarm, push the “silence” button on the alarm box located in the closet under the stairs.

Raspberry Overlook- a birders and outdoor enthusiast paradise. Viewing Raspberry Island, It's surrounded by outdoor activities: swimming, boating, hiking, birding and more. Seasonally you may see northern lights, rare birds, ever changing scenery, and diverse wildlife. The cabin is within 3 miles of a beach, park, and boat launch and about 12 miles to Bayfield and cornucopia

The space
The Bayfield Peninsula funnels birds out toward the tip where they concentrate in numbers
before crossing Lake Superior in spring migration. In fall migration this is the first land they see
after a tiring and perilous flight across the cold water. Island Overlook
is situated on a sloping hillside facing Lake Superior’s Raspberry Bay.
Rare and vagrant birds, finding themselves far from home and faced with the barrier of the open
lake, find the open areas around this cabin attractive. This location arguably has one of the
highest counts of vagrant species in the state. Every spring and fall numerous rare birds are
found with as many as three rare species in the property at one time. This location has had
Swallow-tailed Kite, a graceful raptor from the Deep South, Swainsons Hawk and Western
Kingbird in one September afternoon. The spring of 2024 brought a state first record of Fish
Crow, as well as Painted Bunting. Other vagrants include Lark Bunting, Northern Mockingbird,
Lark Sparrow and Eurasian Tree sparrow, among others. Other vagrants recorded within a mile
of this property include Tropical Kingbird, Black Vulture, Crested Caracara and
Chestnut-collared Longspur. Every day offers a good chance of seeing a spectacular vagrant,
making every minute of birding suspenseful in anticipation of what’s next.

The space
There are two lofted areas, each with one full size bed. Ladders need to be climbed to reach the lofts. Children need to be supervised in lofted areas at all times.

The kitchen includes a sink, microwave, and small fridge. The bathroom has a shower, flushing toilet, and sink. There is a closet to hang clothes.

Immersive glass windows on both sides of The EDGE provide scenic views of the woods and Lake Superior. Further down the hill is The Nest, which is an off grid tiny house that will be available for rent in the future.

The property is located on a private road across from Pikes Bay Marina, off Highway 13. The family has other tiny homes/dwellings on the property for family use. Feel free to park your car on the driveway, next to The EDGE.

Pikes Bay Marina is across the street and the popular Brownstone Trail can be accessed by walking to Pikes Bay Marina, (vear left). Take a left on Pumphouse Road and follow the road until it ends, (past the condos). There will be a sign for the Brownstone Trail.

The space
Nice private setting - feel at one with nature. Guest access
Free parking on the long granite gravel driveway. You can use entire cabin. (The supply room is locked off) I will send you an access code prior to your stay. Access to Little Sand Bay beach a few miles away, Legendary Waters casino, Copper Crow distillery a few miles away, Madeline Island Beaches, Bayfield, Cornucopia, Downhill and XC skiing at Mt Ashwabay etc.

Other things to note
Rules: No smoking inside or outside on property (up to $2,000 fee depending on severity of remediation), no dog or dogs on bed (failure to adhere - $300 minimum charge - more if smell or damage remediation), failure to clean and put away dishes - $25, failure to take garbage bag(s) with you when you leave ($15 per bag left behind)

Located in Brickyard Creek, an environmental residential community dedicated to stewardship and restoration along the creek and greater Lake Superior watershed. Guests have access to Brickyard Creek's trail system, fire pit, and Lake Superior beach.

The space
This beautiful cabin features a spectacular floor-to-ceiling screen porch offering outdoor living and dining space overlooking Brickyard Creek. The well-equipped kitchen opens into the living room which features a two story stone gas fireplace. The main floor has a king bedroom with door opening onto the screen porch. The upstairs has a loft-style queen bedroom. If additional sleeping space is needed, the living room couch pulls out into a bed. There is a full bathroom on each level. This home comfortably sleeps 5 people.

These newly constructed cabins feature all of the comforts of home while boasting an unforgettable view of the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, particularly Raspberry Island. In each cabin, you’ll walk into an open-concept living room and kitchen with panoramic windows and a sliding glass door to the private back patio.

The space
The living space is equipped with a Roku Smart TV and DVD player, as well as a queen sleeper sofa. Enjoy the view from the fully-stocked, modern kitchen. The cozy, quiet bedroom features a queen bed and modern ceiling fan/light combo. The spacious bathroom has a large walk-in shower! Head outside to utilize your cabin’s private patio furniture, grill, and fire pit. *Guests may use outdoor fire pit but are required to purchase their own firewood locally.* All linens, towels, and basic toiletries provided. Beach towels NOT provided. Kitchen stocked with essential cooking equipment and standard drip coffee maker.
