Bed was comforable..pillows were a bit flat but they give you two so that's nice. Staff was great.. we needed to leave early due to weather and they refunded the last night. Coffee pot in room. You can cook waffles if you want for breakfast. Pool was being repaired but looks nice. Saw 4 deer run through the property one morning. Walking distance to town square..near some very good restaurants..try the Walleye tacos at Andys Bar and Grill. Yum. Will definitely stay again."

This property was completely renovated in the fall of 2014 and is essentially like new inside and out. Done in a true cabin feel, Lazy Pines has a wonderful open floor plan on the main level that features a combined great room/kitchen/living room with a large wood-burning fieldstone fireplace for those chilly nights (fire wood included of course!!). The main level features vaulted ceilings and a wonderful screen porch overlooking the lake with panoramic views of beautiful O'brien Lake. The main level further features a lakeside master bedroom and bathroom complete with tile shower. The rental comes complete with a pontoon boat (2018 Bennington), and a new large platform dock that makes spending time on the lake simple and enjoybale! For those that like to stay connected or not miss the big game, both the main and guest cabin have high definition TV's with local cable service, and both structures have free Wi-Fi. Our home features a large 3 season porch with attached deck just off the kitchen and master bedroom overlooking the lake, as well as a large sandy beach. A firepit with comfortable hand-made Canadian adorandack chairs is situated between the cabin and lake for bonfires and smores. There are 4 private bedrooms - (3 with 1 king size bed; and 1 room with 1 queen size bed) and 1 open room with 2 bunk beds (twin size beds on top and double beds on bottoms) as well as 2 additional full size beds. The location of this property is minutes from town, shopping and many restaurants.

Our cabin is located on 'Big Trout Lake' connecting to 14 lakes on the Whitefish Chain ready for you to explore.

Big Trout is known for it's pristine water clarity, lake depth and for it's great fishing and swimming.

Our cabin sits on a level shoreline lot allowing everyone to be able to enjoy the lake! There are no steps or steep hills to climb just to get close to the water. Our cabin sits close to the water among the tall pine trees and offers an excellent sandy lake bottom for great swimming and a private dock ready for you to tie up your boat. There is also a beautiful walking, biking and jogging trail just steps away from our cabin that takes you along the scenic Manhattan point.

After a great day on the lake, Cross lake offers many great restaurants either by boat or just a quick drive into town, and Manhattan Beach Lodge bar and restaurant is just a short walk from the cabin.

Cross lake has so much to offer and has golfing for adults and kids, great shopping options, walking or biking paths and many other amenities, and the Brainerd/Baxter area is only approximately 30 minutes away.

After dinner, you will want to enjoy the beautiful sunsets, relax on the deck with a great beverage, or have a great campfire with the fire-pit that sits close to the lake for evening campfires and s’mores!

Our log cabin is clean, well equipped, nicely furnished throughout and is a perfect place to build memories with family and friends.

(The walk in shower was a must for her due to limited mobility.) We had great times around the campfire and on the dock. The walking/bike trail across the street provided good exercise and the path was pretty, mostly shady, and a good distance. This was a comfortable, clean, and beautiful home in an excellent location. Our completely remodeled lake cabin is ready for a great Summer! The cabin is fully furnished for your comfort and relaxation during your stay Up North. - "We had a great week on Cross Lake this year! Our kids and grandkids were out on the water and in the water every day: swimming, kayaking, boating, tubing, fishing, boarding. We jumped in a few times, too! The weather was hot and perfect for being in the water, but the house was cool and sitting on the deck in the evening or by the fire just ended the perfect day each day!, An eagle tends to watch over the water right outside the house, so watching the eagles each day never got old. The owners, Craig and Valerie, couldn't have been more accommodating! They have everything supplied in the home that we could have possibly needed, and the rooms are wonderfully decorated with beachy and seascape themes! Cross Lake is just one of many connecting lakes. We only cruised around a couple. Hopefully we can make Cross Lake our annual lake retreat tradition and keep exploring the White Fish Chain! The kitchen is stocked with everything you would ever need. The walls are knotty pine and it creates a cozy atmosphere. The main level has an air conditioner to keep you cool. It has lots of windows to create natural sunlight shining in the living room all day. Upstairs is a bedroom with 2 twin beds, a loft, and a bath with shower. The property is only 1 mile from Crosslake, so it’s in a very convenient location. There is a outdoor fire pit by the river, and it’s very peaceful to sit down there and listen to the river. You can also hear the river flow from the deck. The owner of this property is very responsive to any needs, and has created a warm and cozy place for you to enjoy. I would definitely recommend this property any season of the year."

City park is a couple of blocks away with tennis courts, a playground for the kids, etc. There is a wonderful Community Center. Cross Lake is right across the street with private lake access with a dock for your boat. Great fishing and water activities. Cross Lake City Park is very close with something for everyone (including Pickle Ball!). The property also includes space for two RV hookups.

Birch Hill Inne is offering the Carriage House for rental. This unit is located in a private setting behind the Inne. The unit has Roku TV , WIFI, a microwave, small fridge and is air conditioned. The unit has been inspected by the mn dept. of health and is licensed with Crow Wing county.

The space
Carriage House is a stand alone unit behind Birch Hill Inne and is rented as a no services unit. We do not offer any other services other than lodging. Maximum licensed occupancy is 2 persons. We prefer an adult only rental. We do not accept stays with a child under 10 years of age. Non Smoking, non cooking unit.

Parking in the lot in front of the inn is required, at no time shall any guest park in the driveway behind the inn except for loading and unloading and upon approval by owner.

The space
Our home is the perfect get away for the avid golfer, fisherman who doesn’t want to be confined to a single lake, mountain biker, or family visit. We offer a ramp access through the garage and first floor living for the mobility challenged. The master bathroom offers a walk in shower and several grab handles. We have a large circle driveway that is great for fishermen or snowmobilers to come in with their trailers and not have to back in or out.

- We offer the use of 2 adult kayaks and one small kayak. (The kayaks are unavailable the week before, the week of, and the week after the 4th of July due to personal use)

- We offer the use of fishing rods and tackle boxes.

- We offer the use of a variety of sizes of life jackets which must be used with the kayaks.

- We offer the use of several bikes.

- We offer the use of a popup ice house.

- We offer the use of 3 sets of golf clubs and golf equipment.

- We offer a small library of books and games.

- We offer the use of an Xbox360 and some games.

- We offer the use of a large library of both kid and adult movies.

- We offer the use of our outdoor fire pit and outdoor lawn chairs. (Please be fire safe and do not have fires during dry and windy conditions. You will be held liable if you burn down the town.)

- We offer the use of picnic blankets and beach towels.

- We offer the use of outdoor toys such as balls, cornhole, beanbags, baseball, Frisbees, badmitten, among others!

- We offer the use of a hammock in the backyard during the summer months.

- We offer the use of an on site pack n play.

All of these items are for use at your own risk. Since we do not charge for these items use we offer no guarantee that these items will be available or usable during your stay. We do hope that they will always be there but due to the fact that life happens they may or may not be available. Please let us know if you are booking specifically for any of these items and I will update you if anything happens.

Other things to note
What we expect –

We offer the use of our home and our possessions at a very affordable rate. While we do not charge for the use of these extras we do require that you sign them out and clean up, maintain, and put away these items if you use them. We will need to charge an extra cleaning fee if you do use these items and do not clean up after yourself. Our standard cleaning fee is based on basic level cleaning and laundry.

Clean up of the kayaks involves washing them down with the provided hose located in the garage and draining and drying them completely so that there is no stagnant water in them. If you choose not to properly clean up the kayaks we will need to charge an extra $150 cleaning fee due to the extra time and manpower than is needed. Clean up of the ice house is $75. Clean up of all other items are $10 each. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

We do have a few small chores that we ask that you do before you leave.

- We ask that you start a load of towels before you leave. We have provided black makeup washcloths in all bathrooms.

- We ask that you please take out the kitchen garbage or any stinky or excessive amounts of garbage to the garbage can outside. We do recycle so please use the recycling if you have glass, plastic, or cardboard. If you stay through Sunday we require you to take the garbage bin to the curb for garbage collection on Monday morning. If you fail to take the garbage to the curb you will be charged an extra $30 for disposal.

- We ask that you do not make your beds. You’re welcome to strip the top sheet off but please do not strip the waterproof liner unless it was soiled.

- We ask that you please load and run the dishwasher before you leave.

- We ask that you please turn off all the lights, electronics, air conditioning, heaters, and make sure all the windows are closed and locked.

- We ask that you log out of any apps that you used on the TV because we probably wont be there to log you out when you realize someone is binging on your HBO account.

- We ask that you please be respectful and clean up after yourself. We aren’t asking you to vacuum or dust or scour the bathrooms, but if you use items please put them back where you got them from. Our cleaning fee doesn’t mean you can be a trash goblin and disrespect our home and possessions.

Full access to the entire house. Driveway and bump out areas offer ample parking up to 4 cars. Plenty of space for your ATVs or snowmobiles and trailer.

Please note, must climb stairs — Split entryway with stairs, unfortunately not an accessible entry.

Please note the home is next to the woods and the lake, nature is beautiful and all around! Wildlife and insects are a part of life in the area and cannot be avoided totally. We do have regular professional pest control applications, but please prepare for your northwoods experience and bring bug spray in the summer months!

The home has a well providing water for use, which is normal for lake cabins as there is no city water available. The water has been lab tested and safe for drinking, it does contain trace amounts of naturally occurring iron oxide from the soil in the area which sometimes gives the water a slight brown-ish color appearance.

The home does have a Ring doorbell with video capabilities and one outdoor Ring floodlight camera facing the wood fire pit for security purposes. These are only on when activated and are not continuously recording.

Here is a cozy up-north getaway just 5 minutes from downtown Crosslake, 10 minutes to Breezy Point and 15 minutes from the Cuyuna bike trails. Our home features a lofted bedroom with two full sized beds, and a bunk bed on the main level. The cabin is located just off of Co. Rd. 3 for easy access into town. Enjoy bonfires by the river in the evenings and drinks on the deck or head to one of the many restaurants in the area!

The space
The Guest Suite has a paved path that will lead you to your private dock access. Bring you boat, rent one to be dropped on the lake or partake in the great dock fishing right off your private dock.

The Guest Suite is located adjacent (not attached) to the main house yet set back and private. You will be the only guest in the suite cottage where the Guest Suite is with your own private entrance.

The kitchenette area has a fridge and a counter top cooking unit that can be used as a small convection oven, toaster and air fryer. You will also find a Keurig coffee maker with coffee pods to use during your stay.

Enjoy the private full bath that has a shower and barn door that closes for privacy. Take a peak at the lake while getting ready for the relaxation of the day.

The space
The two-cabin layout has separate sleeping areas perfect for a family escape.
The main cabin has one bedroom and a newly remodeled bathroom. Sleeping is also available on the new sofa sleeper in the three seasoned room, smart TV and electric fireplace as well. The bunk room is separated from the living room by a 1/2 wall.
The outside patio provides a shaded space to enjoy great views of the lake while grilling. The kitchen has all the essentials. There is a well-maintained Kinetico water system that is the preferred drinking water over the tap water.
There is a coffee bar including a kureg provided with supplied coffee pods or a drip coffee maker with coffee beans.
The guest cabin, 20 yards behind the main cabin, provides additional sleeping space with a queen bed and bathroom with shower.

Amenities during your stay include Wifi, plenty of fans and portable AC units in both the main and guest cabins. There is a lakeside picnic table, hammock, fire ring with provided Adirondack chairs. The lakeside deck has a table set, propane grill and hanging rack for towels and wet swimsuits.

Savor a quiet cup of morning coffee on the deck just steps from the waterfront. Listen for the loons calling or spot eagles soaring overhead. Adding to the peacefulness, there is undeveloped land across the lake from the cabin for perfect sunset backdrops. Enjoy the provided paddleboards or kayaks and water trampoline for the kids.

Other notes about Goodrich Lake: This bow-tie shaped lake is 382 acres in size and is approximately 32 feet deep at its deepest point. It is a full recreation lake with most boaters using fishing, pontoon or smaller power boats. Many of the residents on Goodrich Lake tube and ski, but large wake boats would be more difficult to use due to their depth and the shallowness of the lake. Guests who fish can expect the classic Minnesota fish species.

Enjoy the beautiful sunset from your porch as you relax & sip your favorite beverage. This 2 level cabin is just steps from the waters edge & is part of the Whitefish Chain in Crosslake. It is in a perfect location to enjoy all that Crosslake has to offer. On the water, to take advantage of swimming, boating, fishing & water sports & just 5 minutes from town to enjoy golfing, tennis or shopping. Located within 1/2 mile are restaurants, bike trails, paddle boarding & boat rentals.

The space
This quaint little cabin will remind you of a boat house right next to the lake. It has two levels. The main level has the kitchen, living room, screen porch, full bathroom and main bedroom. OUTSIDE steps will lead you to the lower level bedroom and the lake. The lower level has a double bed, a single bed and a sofa bed, along with cable TV and a patio. (No a/c in lower level, but there is window and fan for airflow). Note: the only bathroom is located on the upper level, which is accessed by the outside stairs if you are on the lower level. 2 kayaks provided with cabin, along with a private dock for your boat and small beach area.

We have 3 cats that wander the property. Piper is our orange tabby cat and is very friendly. Ava is our chocolate point siamese. She is our shy girl. Bella is our grey tabby and the most likely to wander by for a back rub.

Wake up to the sounds of early morning loon calls, watch eagles flying over the dock or enjoy the tranquility of the morning sunrise from the shore. Across the lake is the Cuyuna Boy Scout camp and an undeveloped DNR property which makes for a terrific scenic view as well as limits boat traffic. Sitting on the dock with your favorite refreshment, a leisurely kayak ride around the lake, bike ride or a walk surrounded by majestic pines are all at your doorstep.

Goodrich lake is known for its great fishing, available for your use is a 14’ aluminum fishing boat with an electric or gas motor. Also, two kayaks , two bikes and a canoe are available to guests.

Located 5 miles from the city of Crosslake, close proximity to grocery and hardware stores, various outside patio dining and local restaurants as well as the famous “Crafts and Cones” for ice cream. Centrally located to the towns of Nisswa and Crosby for day trips. Also, close to several of the most popular golf courses on the Brainerd Trail.

Take advantage of the winter months too. Enjoy ice fishing, snowmobiling on groomed trails, snow showing and/or relaxing around the gas fireplace in the porch. The cabin interior is entirely knotty pine and features Northwoods decor with log furniture, making the space feel welcoming, cozy and “Up North.” The Kitchen is fully equipped (including dishware for kiddos) with plenty of seating with barstools at the counter and chairs around a large table with booster seat available if needed. The living room and loft have TVs for when you’re craving relaxing downtime out of the sun. Finally, the 3 season screened-in porch with a bar storage and cooler is a perfect outdoor hangout without all the bugs! All three living spaces offer seating facing the lake for gorgeous views or to keep an eye on the kids.

Outside, enjoy the shade of the mature oak trees while lounging or making meals on the gas grill on the wrap around deck. Take advantage of the large lawn to play yard games or swing on the swing set. The sandy beach and provided beach/water toys add to the fun, especially on this secluded property and quiet lake. Beach towels available. Right off of the sandy beach is a dock for your use and to tie up a boat if needed (Pine Lake has a public access ½ mile down the road). At night, enjoy s’mores or your bevie of choice around the outdoor fire pit. Parking is available for up to 4 cars and includes a extra paved space for vehicle/trailer turn-around.

This family oriented house offers 3 bedrooms and a loft, 3.5 baths, living room, dining room and a full kitchen with everything you need to prepare your own meals.
If cooking is not on the agenda, you are just 2 minutes away from the center of Crosslake with its restaurants, bars, coffee and ice cream shops, grocery store and a gas station, and also a variety of local boutiques, walking/biking/snowmobile trails, golfing and mini-golfing - all for your entertainment.
Being so close to town, the property is also located next to a wooded land, which gives more privacy to enjoy beautiful sunsets and some family time by the fire pit or on the porch with a beverage of your choice!

Head up north to the great MN cabin country. This cabin is located in the city of Crosslake, MN on the Whitefish chain of lakes. You will be able to experience everything the chain of lakes has to offer including: boating, swimming, fishing, sandbar hopping, shopping, snowmobiling, and much more. There is a dock on the property that you are welcome to park your boat at during your stay. It is located in a sheltered bay. STR License# 003504

The space
The main level has a full bathroom, 3/4 bathroom, 2 bedrooms (queen bed in one and king bed in one), kitchen, dining room and living room.

The lower level has a half bathroom, 2 bedrooms (one bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds and one bedroom with a twin bed), and a bunk bed cove with 2 additional bunk beds. There is also a lounge area.

Outdoors you’ll find a large wrap around deck that looks out onto Little Pine Lake. There’s also a charcoal grill you are welcome to use, and a fire pit with patio furniture.

Guest access
You can use the entire property including the dock.

The space
Our cozy cabin is fully furnished for your comfort and relaxation during your stay exploring northern Minnesota. This lake property sleeps 9 in the main house and 4 in the guest house. The main house has 2 private bedrooms with queen beds located on the main floor and a third private bedroom with a queen bed is located in the newly remodeled basement. The basement bonus room includes bunk beds and full laundry.

Plenty of space to spread out a living room with a gas burning fireplace and a game room. Office/den with sleeper chair. Fully equipped centrally located open kitchen.

The guest house has a private bedroom with a queen bed, living room with gas fireplace and a queen sleeper sofa, full kitchenette and bathroom.

Sandy beach and a private dock

Available for your groups enjoyment; bikes, lake toys, lily pad, weber gas grill, firepit, yard games, board games & puzzles

High-speed internet with computer/printer setup for those can’t miss meetings

Located in the heart of Cross Lake, you could walk less than two minutes to 14 Lakes Craft Brewing Company. Quick drive to Zorbaz (2 mins), Moonlite Bay (3 mins), The Bourbon Room (3 mins), The Wharf (4 mins) and Manhattan Beach Lodge (4 mins). Local shuttle services are available.

Close to downtown Crosslake for shopping, golf, etc.

Quick water access to marina's, restaurants, bars, and all 13 lakes on the Whitefish chain.

Plenty of parking in the large driveway and access to 2-car attached garage.

Great location in town and on the chain with plenty of room to sleep. Tons of things to do all year round. Swim from our sandy shoreline, fish from the dock, bike into town for ice cream, mini golf and more. Ride from the cabin on ATV and snowmobile to hit the trails. Close to the community center that offer’s pickle ball, tennis, basketball, cross country ski trails, and a dog park. Enjoy the fire pit, hot tub, Ping pong, and dock where you can tie your boat up. Great fun for the whole family!

The space
Property is located on a residential dead end road with neighboring cabins on each side close to public boat launch and beach. Close to walking paths, walk to Manhattan beach or bike into town. Cabin is centrally located on the chain of lakes for easy access to all the lakes and restaurants. There is a 5 person hot tub, fire pit, and new large deck with grill that overlooks the lake. There is a small attached garage with a ping pong table. The cabin has 4 bedrooms. Master upstairs with attached bath and the other 3 downstairs. Bedrooms downstairs, one has a queen and twin bunks and the other has 2 queens and a trundle bed with two single beds. The other bedroom downstairs was a small office and now has a double bed-so it's cozy. 1/2 bath upstairs off entry and 3/4 bath downstairs. Walk out basement with patio below deck with hot tub under deck. There are 20 stairs going down to the lake to a sandy lakeshore. A new sand box was added to the shore line in spring of 2023. There is a washer and dryer and extra refrigerator in the basement mechanical room. There is a ping pong table in the garage. There are 3 sitting areas in the cabin 2 have TV's with Rokus. Those two sitting areas also have full size bed pullouts. At this time we do not have shades/blinds in the sitting areas where the pullouts are. Two pets are allowed under 50 lbs. Anything over 50 lbs needs to be approved. The pet fee is $75.00 per pet per stay. Please note during the winter months the driveway will be plowed but we do not use any salt on the walkways, deck or patio due to the lake contamination. These areas can get icy. There will be shovels available for the walkways and patio if needed. You may also need to shovel a path to the grill and or hot tub during winter.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire property. Including dock to tie up boat.

Other things to note
Sorry we do not accommodate bachelor/bachelorette parties. Once booking is approved renter(s) need to provide an email where we can send our rental agreement per our insurance policy and agree and sign our rental agreement with-in 48 hours of booking in order to keep the booking.
