Spectacular piece of property, nestled on the west side of Lake Munson. On 2 acres of trees and manicured land, sits a lovely cabin with views of a beautiful lake with a private feel. The cabin has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It has two living areas with couches (main floor and basement). The basement is a walkout to backyard which leads to a stunning fire pit that looks out on the lake. There are also two dining areas to ensure quality family time. A full kitchen provides ample amount of ability to cook up what you would like. But in case you are not interested in cooking, you can get pizza delivered to this address as it is in town! Amenities such as grocery stores and restaurants are only a few minutes away! There is a dock installed that you can try to fish off, or bring a kayak or paddle board and explore the water! The Shell River runs through the property providing the perfect relaxing background at the campfire. The large oaks provide beautiful green shade in the summer, an array of orange & yellow in the fall and a beautiful place for the frost and snow to settle in the winter.

Dining/Entertainment - Lake season always brings lots of activity to Detroit Lakes, so if you feel the need for dining, shopping, or events in the area, all the amenities of the city are within a 10 minute drive. Detroit Lakes offers a wide variety of events, shopping, parks, concerts, & restaurants that the entire family can enjoy. With some of the best downtown shops in the area & some great coffee shops and bars, it is sure to give you plenty to do, regardless of the weather. On Lake Sallie you can grab a bite to eat at the world famous Hotel Shoreham, or travel just a few miles to restaurants like Longbridge, Zorbaz, Bleachers, Brygge Taps & Tastes, Hub 41, Lakeside Tavern, The Fireside, & Spitfire Bar & Grill.

Boating - When you spend your vacation surrounded by water, it only makes sense that you’ll feel like boating! We have space for you to park your trailer & hook your own boat/pontoon up on either dock. You can also inquired about our rental pontoons, kayaks, paddle boards so you can spend time on the water. Once on the water, Lake Sallie has nearly 1300 acres of recreational boating & also has a boat access route to Little Detroit Lake through Dunton Locks Park! (boat tram open weekends from Memorial Day to Labor Day)

Fishing - Fishing is great throughout the year, so if you do bring your fishing rig, it won’t take you long to find multi-species fishing opportunities. (walleyes, panfish, bass, pike, muskies) There are docks to tie up for the day on Lake Sallie or Lake Munson & there are several other lakes within minutes which offer a similar variety of multi-species fishing. (Rental of a fishing pontoon or guided fishing trips are also available)

Golfing - Whether you bring clubs for some serious golf or you just want to play a casual round, you have several golf options! Just around Lake Sallie you have the DL Country Club 18-hole course or their executive course, Lakeview which is their shorter 18-hole course. There are also a variety of other golf courses within a 15-20 minute drive. (Wildflower, Fair Hills, Forest Hills)

Biking - Having bikes onsite is nice because you can ride straight from the cabin on paved roads & find your way into town or discover many of the winding county roads that take you through Becker County. In only minutes you can explore one of many gravel/off-road options in the area or head 10 miles north to the DL Mountain Recreation Area; they have dedicated mountain biking trails you can ride to or rent bikes there if you prefer to go by car.

Basswood Lodge at Cotton Lake—A Wonderful Birding Destination
Perched upon a breezy bluff with a birds-eye view across sparkling Cotton Lake Basswood Lodge is a perfect getaway for the birder, nature lover, or for anyone who might enjoy a few days of tranquility and a place to reconnect with oneself and the natural world.
Basswood Lodge is actually nothing more than a traditional Minnesota lake cabin, one of thousands sprinkled around the land of 10,000 lakes; this one as quaint and cozy as you might remember a lake cabin of days gone by. She’s tucked within the hillside to blend harmoniously with oak, maple, birch and of course basswood trees—a forest that provides shelter from the west wind and gracefully frames the lake view. If you enjoy birds and bird watching you will never tire of Basswood’s lake-side deck, eye-level with the forest canopy. Take your morning coffee outdoors, warmed by the morning sun, surrounded by beautiful nature. In fact, after a morning or two like this you may find yourself completely at home.
On the inside, Basswood is spare but complete and finely finished with lovely Douglas fir flooring; warm, reclaimed wood paneling and clear pine windows and doors. Offsetting the subdued tones of abundant wood features, paint colors such as “Morning Light” and “Crystalline” lend brightness to the ceilings and certain walls. Our main level consists of the kitchen, living room and dining area, and the adjacent master bedroom and bathroom. On warm nights it is pleasant to sleep with the French doors open to the screen porch, and wake to loons calling and the conversations of morning birds. A ship’s ladder leads guests to the loft which we’ve furnished with one full size bed, one twin bed and ample seating. The loft is a nice place to read on a stormy day. A feature window captures eagle-eye views across Cotton Lake to forested Shelley Island. Guests who take the loft accomodations will enjoy their own full bath as well.
There is a pleasant footpath down to our sand and gravel beach and the clean swimming water of Cotton Lake. Bass fishing is good right from shore, and better from the end of our 32’ dock. Bring your own boat for the best Cotton Lake has to offer. Public access is easy at the state access straight across from our cabin. Best of all the Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge south boundary is one mile up the county road. The refuge offers some of the best birding in Minnesota and is wonderful for day hikes, road bikes and captivating scenery. It is a slice of Minnesota the way it used to be, complete with virtually all the wildlife and tree species we were blessed with, including two rare species—trumpeter swan and gray wolf.
Our family looks forward to enjoying the beauty and tranquility of Cotton Lake for years to come. We would love to share our delightful lake cabin with like-minded and appreciative guests.

As a word of caution, Basswood Lodge is situated on a bluff overlooking Cotton Lake. The lake path is not long but just a little steep. The walkway to the cabin’s main level is also upward, along a stone pathway, and a short stair step. In other words, the cabin may not be entirely suitable for the elderly, infirm or disabled guests. On the other hand, Basswood Lodge is entirely suitable for children and adults in reasonably good shape. And as a side benefit, the hike to and from the lake will get your heart warmed up and pumping, so when you have to leave for home, you’ll go in better shape than when you arrived.

You feel like you’re more up North than you are and it’s just lovely! We availed ourselves to the Maple Beach Burgers on our last day and are happy to have made the short trip over. We used the state park boat ramp. It was a little further than the public launch, but was better for our boat. Every detail of the cabin has been thoughtfully considered and Debra and Pamela were the best hosts. Without a doubt, we WILL be back!"

- "Our family rented this cabin for a short winter getaway. The place is newly built and pristine—I think we must be some of the first renters. The entire experience was great! The owners are local and super easy to work with. The weather was mild for a Minnesota winter during our stay, so the kids were able to play outside—which was great. The cabin is the last house on the road and feels very secluded despite the fact it is within miles of a couple of towns and just down the road from a great little general store/cafe. It is surrounded on two sides by forest, and you can barely see the only neighbor’s house—we felt like we were in the wilderness. There is also a lot of wildlife in the area, which made the kids feel like they were in the middle of a Disney movie 😊. There is a huge bunk room on the upper level of the cabin with four beds, a couch and nice TV. The kids spent a lot of time up there, which gave the adults some much need quiet. We absolutely plan on renting this place again—hopefully in the summer when we can enjoy the water and the beach. We’re planning on inviting some extended family to join us since there is a ton of room. We didn’t even use two of the bedrooms during this trip."

We love Ottertail. Ottertail is a big, yet relatively quiet, lake. It is very boat friendly, with almost all of it being easily navigable. We come every year for 2 weeks around the 4th. Its our favorite time of year! So chill. Just relax by the water, either riverside or RIGHT on the lake.

Our Little Red Ottertail Lake cabin is a 3 bedroom sleeping up to 7, and it has 2 full shared baths (both are showers, sink, toilet, there are no tubs).

Yes, you can get to the water either off the roll-in (in the water all season) dock OR directly from the sand/rock beach. Nice. AND a fire ring on the beach for those evenings you want your smores.

RIVERSIDE FISHING PLATFORM AND DOCK/MANUAL LIFT
More? Yep. Our property extends from the lake to the river, and on the river... fishing platform and boat dock with manual lift! Got BOAT? Dump her in the water, and keep her on property, sheltered in the channel. So nice! The lift is setup for a fishing type boat, up to about 18' or so, and you can alternatively snug up a pontoon on the west side of the dock.

PLEASE let us know AHEAD OF ARRIVAL, directly communicating once booked, and ensure we have replied, that you will have a boat. You can't take a trailer to the cabin (trust me, not a fun thing), BUT we have easy options nearby, just coordinate! We send messages about this too, automagically, so be sure once booked you are receiving our direct communications.

Oh, and kiddos love to walk to the bridge at the bend in Ottertail River and tub back to the lake house (the current will take them to the front side of the cabin, in the lake, or pop off by the riverside dock platform. Repeat to exhaustion. The true brave at heart depart the bridge by jumping off! Fishing off the bridge is common too.

THINGS WE LOVE
So our first love is... chillin' on the lake, but.... things that we miss as soon as we leave include:

Williams Store. Bike ride to coffee (or drive...), smoothies, sandwiches, and more. This place is the best. Its a daily bike ride for my wife, kiddos and me. Plus the owners are super awesome! Say 'hi!' to Dan & Marnie.
Ottertail Fitness Garage. Workout? Ottertail has the Fitness Garage. Full facility, including cardio and free weights. Highly recommend!
Zorbaz. Pizza place RIGHT on Ottertail. Take a boat ride over, tie up there, or drive... or for the more adventuresome, its a doable, if longish, bike ride too!

And there is a lot of nearby golf, a smattering of stores and restaurants in Ottertail that are well worth a stop, and field trips to Perham and other areas are worth a half day or more. Just inquire. We know the area, love the area, happy to help you love it too!

SETTING & LAKE
Welcome to your blissful secluded stay on Blueberry Lake. Once folks settle in after a day or so of arriving, the thing they say over and over is “I can’t believe how quiet, still, and peaceful it is here.” Blueberry Lake is miles from highly trafficked roads and the cabin is situated off a cul-de-sac, so it makes for a remarkably quiet experience. Amid near silence we often hear loons, frogs, owls, beavers thwacking their tails, and splashes from jumping fish. On moonless nights it is very, very dark which makes for excellent stargazing from the yard, dock, boat, or paddleboard.

A private dock provides access to 87-acre 47 feet deep Blueberry Lake which has NEAR PERFECT WATER-SKIING CONDITIONS. Blueberry Lake has minimal boat traffic and is surrounded by enormous wind blocking trees, wave absorbing reeds and lily pads. All combine to create world-class conditions for long, stress-free sessions from dawn to dusk. We also enjoy swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, rowing, or just floating in the bay. There is excellent fishing (so we’ve been told). Walleye, Large Mouth Bass, Northern Pike, Yellow Perch, Black Crappie, and Bluegill are on the menu. The public boat launch is directly across from our dock on the north side of the lake.

GREAT ROOM, KITCHEN & COOKING
The GREAT ROOM has a panoramic view of the lake from the comfort of powered recliners and a wood burning fireplace for those extra cold winter nights. An exquisitely crafted live-edge walnut table with four chairs provides a great place for meals while enjoying a full view of the lake. Lastly, there is a TV with streaming services available set atop a kennel for your dog(s).

KITCHEN & COOKING. This kitchen is modest in design, highly functional, and well equipped; the appliances are NEW or in new condition. Starting with the larger appliances, it has a gas range & oven, microwave, and a large modern fridge. For the smaller appliances, it has a toaster, crockpot, hand mixer, Keurig (pod & pot), Ninja blender, and an air fryer – All NEW. It also has NEW pots and pans of all types and sizes, bakeware, cutlery, utensils, mixing bowls, and cutting boards. If grilling or smoking is something you like to do, we have both options – propane and wood pellets included.

There is ample counter space in this tidy kitchen with great views of the lake while you and your sous chef are prepping on the island. The plates, bowls (S/M/L), silverware, glasses (pint, rocks, and snifter) designs are simple, sturdy, and clean. The dishwasher is rock-solid and cleans dishes very well. WARNING: THE SINK DOES NOT HAVE GARBAGE DISPOSAL. All wastewater is captured by a septic system that does not tolerate food waste. Sink strainers are used to capture food waste in the sink.

BEDROOMS
The UPSTAIRS BEDROOM is oversized and adjoined by a bathroom, equipped with a vanity, toilet, and bidet. This large loft has a NEW luxuriously sized king bed covered by plush cozy linens and includes nightstands, a large dresser, and plenty of room for an airbed on the floor for extra sleeping space. Two large windows provide a good bit of natural light to brighten up the room, or the drapes can be shut for lower lighting.

The DOWNSTAIRS BEDROOMS have NEW queen beds covered by plush cozy linens. Also included are nightstands and cellular blinds that can be drawn if a lie-in is in order (west BR blinds are blackout). Both bedrooms have dressers and closets, stocked with extra blankets and pillows for cold nights and added comfort.

FAMILY ROOM
The FAMILY ROOM is very spacious, furnished with a couch, loveseat, recliner, game table and four chairs, and gas fireplace. This is a perfect place to lounge, relax, play games, take a nap, celebrate holidays and birthdays, or accommodate extra overnight guests on the floor with airbeds. When the door is closed, noise from the FAMILY ROOM is blocked from getting to the bedrooms. Guests or kids can whoop all night long in there and no one in the main cabin areas will hear it.

BATHROOMS
The DOWNSTAIRS BATHROOM is adjacent to the bedrooms and living area. It is equipped with a nicely tiled shower/tub, vanity, medicine cabinet, towel closet, washer/dryer, toilet, bidet, and NEW maple floors. The UPPER BATHROOM is adjoined to the upstairs bedroom and is equipped with a vanity, toilet, and bidet.

OUTDOORS
The dock is accessed by a gently sloped well maintained boardwalk. Nighttime walks to and from the dock are guided by tiny minutely lit string lights that indicate the boardwalk handrail. The gas grill is on the patio just outside the kitchen door, accompanied by pairs of gliding and Adirondack chairs. The patio, yard, and fire pit areas have the best lake views and remain shaded for most of the day by 100-foot pines, birches, maples, oaks, and the cabin. A snug fire is always nice at day’s end. Seating around the firepit is plentiful and comfortable – four Adirondack chairs, a bench near the firepit, and six folding chairs ensure that everyone has a comfortable seat around the fire for smores, drinks, or conversation. If you’re pooped or just need a 20-minute catnap, lay in one of the four hammocks, or play any of the yard games we have.

KEYLESS ENTRY. PARKING. ROAD.
KEYLESS ENTRY. A keypad is used to unlock/lock the patio door or garage man door. A unique code is set for each guest (key provided if keypad malfunctions). PARKING. There are AT LEAST four parking spaces for full-sized cars, trucks, or SUVs; two south of the patio and two in the driveway. The patio spaces also serve as a turnaround. ROAD.

SMOKING. Smoking or vaping (tobacco & clove cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, vape pens, marijuana products, incense, etc.) on the property or in the house is not permitted and will result in loss of rental privileges and damage deposit.

PR hosts arts and cultural events including Thursday night summer street music, multiple seasonal festivals, live music, dances, and other events throughout the year. The perfect place to make family memories while enjoying an amazing view of Little McDonald Lake with outdoor space for yard games, bonfires, lakeside picnics or just relaxing at the lake. Little McDonald is known for some of the best fishing. The front deck offers a great space for outdoor dining and watching the sunset. The soon to be completed back patio (Coming in June 2024) will provide space for cooking on the provided propane grill and black stone grill. Located just 8 miles from Perham, you're just far enough from town to enjoy everything the lake has to offer while being close and convenient to get any of your groceries and additional supplies. The home comes stocked with kitchen essentials, bedding, towels, paper towels, toilet tissue, and soaps. There is a boat lift available for a fishing or speed boat. A paddleboard is also available to use. A brand new bike trail is available just behind the cabin, so bring your bikes!

This log cabin near many favorite lakes is a cozy retreat for guests looking to unwind and relax. With the Smoky Hills so close, we are welcoming to those who chose to bring horses to lakes country. Grass is available but not fenced. If you are coming here to fish, we have you covered with a generous cutting board, stainless steel prep sink, and brand new kitchen appliances. When it is time to just sit still for a moment, you can bring the hammock out to the back deck or lounge on the balcony off the bedroom, overlooking the pasture. The one think you won't be doing though is watching TV unless you bring your own; there is too much to do in the area so we haven't put one in. We presume most travelers have their own wireless plan for data and Verizon has great coverage here. I'm able to work through 4G at the desk overlooking the pasture and wetland.

With a comfortable bedroom and two additional spaces including a living room and loft that can be used for sleeping, there's room to spread out and make yourself at home.

Welcome to LAKES COUNTRY! You are pretty much in the middle of everywhere when you are on Tamarac Lake. Just minutes from Dunvilla, Cormorant Village, Pelican Rapids, Detroit Lakes, Barnesville, Fergus Falls, and the Fargo/Moorhead area. You have access to anything and everything! The space
Tamarac Lake Hideaway is a 1 bedroom Park Model home that sits on a quarter acre of land nestled back into the woods on a dead-end road. It's peaceful, relaxing, and extremely safe. You may be able to see deer, fox, squirrels, or even a bald eagle fly overhead. The frogs and crickets make their unique noises at night and the birds will sing during the day.

Tamarac Lake only 0.1 mile away from the cabin. The Public Access is a short drive off of Hwy 34. You can launch your own boat if you'd like but would need to park it up at the house.

Even though it's only 1 bedroom there is still plenty of room for you and your guests to sleep. The dinette folds down into a twin-size bed and both sofa sleepers fold out into full size beds. We even have a hammock if you prefer to sleep outdoors. Our place can comfortably sleep 7 guests.

It has a full-sized kitchen and a little coffee space.

Other things to note
*PARTYING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. NO BACHELOR, BACHELORETTE, 21 year old, ect. types of crazy parties. A child's birthday or other event - no problem. However, EXCESSIVE drinking and LOUD music are not allowed. Please don't book if you plan to have a party, get drunk, trash our place, and/or disrespect our neighbors.

WIFI: There is NO WIFI - Internet connection.

TOILET PAPER: We will provide a couple days' worth of toilet paper and tissue paper. After that it will be at your own expense.

TV: We have a small antennae TV that has 5 local stations. However, you may use your own hotspot to provide service to the provided Roku stick.

OFF LIMITS: The golf cart, shed, and going on our neighbor's property.

WATER ACCESS: Bring your boat and toys! The Public Water Access is just off of Hwy 34, a few mins away. We have boat/trailer parking available on our property.

LINENS and LAUNDRY: Leave all used bedding on the beds. If you or another guest sleep on one of the two sofa sleepers or dinette area, please just leave those open as well. Also, you can put used bath towels, hand towels, and dish rags in the hamper that is located in the bedroom closet. If you need to wash your own clothes you will need to go to Lakeland General Store just right down the road and use their laundry facility. They are open daily from 7am-7pm, with the last load at 6pm.

OUR NEIGHBORS: We have great neighbors that are all very nice and friendly! Please respect their privacy and properties.

PROPERTY LINES: Our property is marked from the back (south) by a birdhouse fence and wood post with a pink flag/tag. It slims out to the driveway to the east and the railroad tie border of driveway to the west and goes all the way down to the road. Please stay on our property unless asked by a neighbor, thank you!

PROPANE: The furnace, hot water heater, stove and oven are all run off of propane. The AC runs on electric. The propane will already be turned on for you, so you will already have heat and hot water.

GAS GRILL: Feel free to grill! Use can use a lighter from the kitchen, 3rd drawer down from top. Let the grill cool off before replacing the cover.

BEDTIME: Pillows and blankets are under the kitchen dinette and in a basket under the coffee table. If you are sleeping in the bedroom everything is already out for you. To use the dinette, you will need to remove the legs of the tabletop and set the table straight down from where it is. You will use the back and bottom seat cushions as your bed. Bedding is underneath the seats.

BONFIRE: Feel free to use the cut wood in the very front of the property to burn and have a campfire with. Lighters are in the kitchen's 3rd drawer down. There is a water hose right by the campfire. At the end of the evening please use it to put out your fire.

DOGS: No dogs are allowed on the premise. If you need a dog sitter just message me, Michelle, as I run a dog sitting business called Barnesville Critter Sitter and would love to watch your dog(s) for you.

BOOKS and GAMES: Available for your use in the living room.

OUTDOOR CHAIRS: There are 2 rocking chairs on the deck, 5 Adirondak chairs down by the firepit, and 4 chairs around the table on the patio.

DECK UMBRELLA: Use and then wrap up when done so the wind doesn't get a hold of it.

This private charming three-bedroom, one bath cabin is a beautiful combination of rustic and modern. It is located two and a half hours from Minneapolis, MN and one and a half hours from Fargo, ND.
The cabin sleeps four adults and two children. The lake is a few steps away from the cabin with a private dock and screened in deck. It has all the amenities like AC, microwave, coffee maker, charcoal BBQ grill, etc. West Leaf Lake is a 684-acre lake, excellent fishing and recreational lake.

The space
There is a full bed in one of the bedrooms, a set of twin beds in the second bedroom and a set of bunk beds for children in the third bedroom.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. While you may not have the amenities from home like a dishwasher or the water pressure to shower and run the washing machine simultaneously bring your lawn chair or a towel out and read a book in the lawn. And don’t worry there’s still Wi-Fi and plenty of hot water!

Basket ball court, shuffle board, volley ball net are all community property. This unit has it's own fire pit and firewood will be stocked for it. Additional firewood will have a fee. All other buildings and places on the property are the private property of other owners and we ask that you please respect that.

We are nestled right between the awesome towns of Perham and Ottertail! If being outdoors is what you are looking for we have Maplewood State Park, and Phelps Mill that are very close. On a rainy day, Ottertail has a water park at Thumper Pond, and Perham has the PACC with a play yard for littles, and a pool.

**BEDROOMS**
This adorable quaint and cozy cabin accommodates 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, plus two additional sleeping areas, all complete with black out blinds or curtains. There is one bedroom on the main, upper level of the home fitted with a queen-sized bed, directly across from the bathroom. The main floor living room can also accommodate two more guests on a twin-size daybed and sleeper chair.

The downstairs level features two more bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed. The downstairs living room includes a full-size pull-out sleeper sofa (a mattress topper is stored in the bedroom closet for use on this sofa bed for extra comfort).

**BATHROOM**
There is one bathroom on the main, upper level of the cabin, with a shower/tub combo. It is fully stocked with all the essentials you will need for the duration of your stay (bath linens, lake towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, soap, lotion). You will also find a hair dryer, iron and ironing board provided for your use.

**KITCHEN & LOUNGING**
The newly updated kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances, utensils and cookware you need to feel right at home. A coffee and tea bar has been stocked with coffee, filters, sugars, creamers and tea bags for your morning beverage of choice. A 6-burner gas grill can be found on the upper deck next to the kitchen (grilling accessories stocked in kitchen). The dining table seats 6 people with an additional 4 bar stools at the breakfast bar.

The main, upper level living room features a (daybed) couch and chair along with a variety of games and puzzles for all ages! The secondary living room is downstairs and features a sectional couch and TV. It's the perfect spot for kids to enjoy playtime, relax and watch TV, read a book or sit and enjoy gorgeous views of the lake from the corner picture windows. You can access the outside two-level deck from doors in both living rooms.

**OUTSIDE SPACE**
The exterior space of this area features a two-level lakefront deck with gorgeous views of the lake and evening sunsets. The upper deck features a sectional couch, table and umbrella, and two Adirondack chairs perfect for lounging and enjoying your morning coffee, along with a 6-burner gas grill. The lower deck features a gas fire pit with seating, along with additional covered seating (perfect for rainy days!). You will find a storage bench stocked with a variety of lake floats, basic fishing gear and camping chairs. The private dock features a bench and a ladder into the water, which is perfect for hanging out or fishing. There is a grassy front yard, great for yard games or kids to run around in.

This cabin is located 5 minutes from the town of Deer Creek, 10 minutes from Ottertail and Henning and 20 minutes from Wadena, which provides plenty of options for shopping and dining in these nearby towns.

This is a family-friendly home. We provide a Pack-n-Play, highchair, baby gates and kid-friendly dishes and silverware. Free parking for up to 3 vehicles is available on the premises, with the possibility of one additional vehicle/trailer in the community parking spot (reservation required).

Guests have full access of the property (on lake side of Bakers Rd). The property across the street and up the hill is all private and not accessible to our guests. You will have full access of the cabin, except for the owner's closet.

Beautifully appointed year-round home with an “Up North” feel provides the perfect location to escape and unwind. Located on Rush Lake, known in the area for being one of the best walleye fishing lakes year-round. The three large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms give you ample room to have a family gathering.
The downstairs features a master bedroom with a king size bed, a full bathroom, lovely kitchen with stainless steel appliances which include: gas stove, double oven, large refrigerator/freezer and dishwasher. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, utensils, and most items you need to create a complete meal for your family to enjoy. There is a large table to host your family gatherings which can seat 10 people around it.
The downstairs living area has two leather couches and a leather reclining chair to unwind and enjoy a movie as a family. The upstairs loft has another 2 large bedrooms with a king bed in one of them, bathroom and a 2nd area to watch TV. There is also a table in the loft area perfect for family game night while watching the lake views. With 2 King beds, a queen bed, bunk beds, and two futons this home comfortably sleeps 6 people.
This home was completely remodeled in the last 3 years and has engineered wood flooring, granite counter and hickory cabinets. There is an outdoor deck with a seating area, grill and an outdoor table.
During the summer months we have our dock in bring your boat and tie it up on the dock and enjoy all the recreation that the summer months have to offer. There are nearby places to rent paddle boards, kayaks or canoes for your enjoyment.

SETTING & LAKE
Welcome to your blissful secluded stay on Blueberry Lake. Once folks settle in after a day or so of arriving, the thing they say over and over is “I can’t believe how quiet, still, and peaceful it is here.” Blueberry Lake is miles from highly trafficked roads and the cabin is situated off a cul-de-sac, so it makes for a remarkably quiet experience. Amid near silence, we often hear loons, frogs, owls, beavers thwacking their tails, and splashes from jumping fish. On moonless nights it is very, very dark which makes for excellent stargazing from the yard, dock, boat, or paddleboard.

A private dock provides access to 87-acre 47 feet deep Blueberry Lake which has NEAR PERFECT WATER-SKIING CONDITIONS. Blueberry Lake has minimal boat traffic and is surrounded by enormous wind blocking trees, wave absorbing reeds and lily pads. All combine to create world-class conditions for long, stress-free sessions from dawn to dusk. We also enjoy swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, rowing, or just floating in the bay. There is excellent fishing (so we’ve been told). Walleye, Large Mouth Bass, Northern Pike, Yellow Perch, Black Crappie, and Bluegill are on the menu. The public boat launch is directly across from our dock on the north side of the lake.

GREAT ROOM, KITCHEN & COOKING
The GREAT ROOM has a panoramic view of the lake from the comfort of powered recliners and a wood burning fireplace for those extra cold winter nights. An exquisitely crafted live-edge walnut table with four chairs provides a great place for meals while enjoying a full view of the lake. Lastly, there is a TV with streaming services available set atop a kennel for your dog.

KITCHEN & COOKING. This kitchen is modest in design, highly functional, and well equipped; the appliances are NEW or in new condition. Starting with the larger appliances, it has a gas range & oven, microwave, and a large modern fridge. For the smaller appliances, it has a toaster, crockpot, hand mixer, Keurig (pod & pot), Ninja blender, and an air fryer – All NEW. It also has NEW pots and pans of all types and sizes, bakeware, cutlery, utensils, mixing bowls, and cutting boards. If grilling or smoking is something you like to do, we have both options – propane and wood pellets included.

There is ample counter space in this tidy kitchen with great views of the lake while you and your sous chef are prepping on the island. The plates, bowls (S/M/L), silverware, glasses (pint, rocks, and snifter) designs are simple, sturdy, and clean. The dishwasher is rock-solid and cleans dishes very well. WARNING: THE SINK DOES NOT HAVE GARBAGE DISPOSAL. All wastewater is captured by a septic system that does not tolerate food waste. Sink strainers are used to capture food waste in the sink.

BEDROOMS
The UPSTAIRS BEDROOM is oversized. It is adjoined to half bathroom, equipped with a vanity, toilet, and bidet. This large loft has a NEW luxuriously sized king bed covered by plush cozy linens and includes nightstands, a large dresser, and plenty of room for an airbed on the floor for extra sleeping space. Two large windows provide a good bit of natural light to brighten up the room, or the drapes can be shut for lower lighting.

The DOWNSTAIRS BEDROOMS have NEW queen beds covered by plush cozy linens. Also included are nightstands and cellular blinds that can be drawn if a lie-in is in order (west BR blinds are blackout). Both bedrooms have dressers and closets, stocked with extra blankets and pillows for cold nights and added comfort.

FAMILY ROOM
The FAMILY ROOM is very spacious, furnished with a couch, loveseat, recliner, game table and four chairs, and gas fireplace. This is a perfect place to lounge, relax, play games, take a nap, celebrate holidays and birthdays, or accommodate extra overnight guests on the floor with airbeds. When the door is closed, noise from the FAMILY ROOM is blocked from getting to the bedrooms. Guests or kids can whoop all night long in there and no one in the main cabin areas will hear it.

BATHROOMS
The DOWNSTAIRS BATHROOM is adjacent to the bedrooms and living area. It is equipped with a nicely tiled shower/tub, vanity, medicine cabinet, towel closet, washer/dryer, toilet, bidet, and NEW maple floors. The UPPER BATHROOM is adjoined to the upstairs bedroom and is equipped with a vanity, toilet, and bidet.

OUTDOORS
The dock is accessed by a gently sloped well maintained boardwalk. Nighttime walks to and from the dock are guided by tiny minutely lit string lights that indicate the boardwalk handrail. The gas grill is on the patio just outside the kitchen door, accompanied by pairs of gliding and Adirondack chairs. The patio, yard, and fire pit areas have the best lake views and remain shaded for most of the day by 100-foot pines, birches, maples, oaks, and the cabin. A snug fire is always nice at day’s end. Seating around the firepit is plentiful and comfortable – four Adirondack chairs, a bench near the firepit, and six folding chairs ensure that everyone has a comfortable seat around the fire for smores, drinks, or conversation. If you’re pooped or just need a 20-minute catnap, lay in one of the four hammocks, or play any of the yard games we have.

Wanna train for a triathlon? Plot your own course starting/ending from our dock, hop on our bike or yours, then hit the road for a run. This gym/lake combo makes for a pretty solid training camp for your next event.

PETS: We allow one dog < 50lb for an additional cost of $75/stay.

PARK RAPIDS. A lovely little town of just over 4,000 people, Park Rapids is just 20 minutes away. PR has several grocery options, a farmer’s market, great restaurants, multiple coffee shops, specialty candy and popcorn, a local brewery, liquor stores, shopping, golf courses, a movie theatre, and hospitals. PR hosts arts and cultural events including Thursday night summer street music, multiple seasonal festivals, live music, dances, and other events throughout the year. PR hosts a spectacular Independence Day celebration including the Firecracker Footrace, a parade, and fireworks. Put your training to the test in the Northwoods Triathlon, Firecracker Footrace, Headwater 100, or other local races. The Heartland Trail is a 49-mile multi-use trail from Park Rapids to Cass Lake, intersection with the Paul Bunyan State Trail near Walker. This trail is great for road biking, running, and walking. Itasca State Park, headwaters to the Mighty Mississippi, is a short drive from the cabin.

KEYLESS ENTRY. PARKING. ROAD.
KEYLESS ENTRY. A keypad is used to unlock/lock the patio door or garage man door. A unique code is set for each guest. In the event the keypad malfunctions, a backup spare key will be provided to guests. PARKING. There are AT LEAST four parking spaces for full-sized cars, trucks, or SUVs; two south of the patio and two in the driveway. The patio spaces also serve as a turnaround. ROAD. The road to the house is topped with well-maintained class 5 gravel. The road can become rutted or form a ravine after heavy rains and/or heavy use. Deteriorated road conditions can be exacerbated by stops and starts on the road, especially while going up the road. We ask our guests to

- Travel DOWN the road forwards, slowly (approx. 2-3 mph). Stopping is okay, as long as it’s not abrupt.
- Travel UP the road forward (approx. 5-10 mph). If a stop is required, back down the road and start again from the concrete driveway. Starting from a full stop anywhere in the middle of the road will likely lead to tires spinning out which will leave a rut in the road or may lead to the vehicle slipping off the road. Spinning out on the road while going up it is much more likely if the vehicle is front wheel drive.

SUMMARY: Drive forwards going DOWN or UP the road. While going DOWN, drive cautiously and slowly. While going UP, use modest speed and let momentum carry you up the road while avoiding stopping.

SMOKING. Smoking or vaping of any substances (tobacco & clove cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, vape pens, marijuana products, incense, etc.) on the property or in the house is not permitted and will result in loss of rental privileges and security deposit.

The cabin is a great choice for winter as well. Guests can ice fish, snowmobile, or cross country ski/snowshoe at the local parks.

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.

The space
This property is located on 2 and a half acres with one hundred & fifty feet of lake shore. The cabin sits a mere 600 feet from the lake! The covered porch of the cabin is connected to a wrap-around deck over-looking the yard and lake.

This is an open floor plan with the main bath room & master bedroom (queen sized bed) located on the first floor. There is a half bathroom located on the 2nd floor loft which contains another queen sized bed and two twin beds. The loft also has a sitting area over-looking the yard and lake shore.

The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite covered island making it the perfect environment for cooking and entertaining! Your guests will enjoy sitting at the island eating, playing games or participating in the cooking while other guests lounge in the dining area or living room enjoying the view!

Guest access
During your stay, you will have access to the entire 2.5 acre lot, with a 150' of lake shore! We also provide a canoe and paddle’s along with flotation devices for your convenience! The lake has two beautiful river is connected to it that make for a beautiful day trip during your visit!

Minnesota is home to many different species of birds nesting in the area! It is very common to see bald eagles flying around the lake.

Feel free to bring your own boat as there are 1100 Lakes in Otter Tail County! Don’t have a boat? We have resources for you in the cabin to rent a boat from a nearby business!

Be sure to visit us in the fall! Minnesota is renowned for its beautiful fall colors! Travelers come from far away to visit our state parks! Check out Maplewood State Park and Glendalough State Park while you’re here any time of the year!

If you’re coming in the winter be sure to bring your snowmobile! There are lots of snowmobile trails in the area to use! How about icefishing? The lake is right in front of the cabin to set up a portable Fishhouse!

There is also a second upper deck on the opposite side of the cabin, which is located off the main loft bedroom and offers privacy and incredible views of the trees and pond. Perfect place to enjoy coffee and watch the sunrise! Property is on 3.85 acers, 600 feet of frontage on a crystal-clear private pond. Two kayaks are provided with life jackets.

The property includes a separate game room/ warming house. During the winter, keep warm next to the electric fireplace while playing a few games of pool or darts. It also has baseboard heating and several wall hooks to dry your winter gear. During the summer, relax on the covered deck with more gorgeous views of the pond!

** Public lake access: Nestled between Pickerel Lake and Perch Lake, only 2 miles from Cotton Lake, and 10 miles from Detroit Lake. Plenty of lakes to choose from for all your fishing and sporting activities! Also, Curley’s on Cotton Lake is a great family bar and grill only a few miles away if you don’t feel like cooking (be sure to call and make a reservation to secure a table, it can be a popular place).

** Snowmobiling: Direct access to Minnesota DNR snowmobiling trail 272! Access is located at the end of our street on Carlson Drive. Access hundreds of miles of trails, then park your sleds in the driveway and dry your sledding gear in the warming house/ game room!

** Ottertail tubing (3 miles): During the summer, go tubing down the Ottertail River on a sunny day!

** Detroit Mountain Recreation Area (9 miles): Offers downhill skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and cross-county skiing in the winter, as well as mountain biking trails in the summer. All equipment available to rent.

** Downtown Detroit Lakes (10 miles): Grab something to eat at Zorbaz or Long Bridge Bar and Grill, or go shopping at the local boutiques.

The space
The perfect place to make family memories while enjoying an amazing view of Little McDonald Lake with outdoor space for yard games, bonfires, lakeside picnics or just relaxing at the lake. Little McDonald is known for some of the best fishing. The front deck offers a great space for outdoor dining, a black stone grill, and watching the sunset. The back deck provides space for cooking on the provided propane grill. Located just 8 miles from Perham, you're just far enough from town to enjoy everything the lake has to offer while being close and convenient to get any of your groceries and additional supplies. The home comes stocked with kitchen essentials, bedding, towels, paper towels, toilet tissue, and soaps. There is a boat lift available for a fishing or speed boat. A paddleboard is also available to use. A brand new bike trail is available just behind the cabin, so bring your bikes!

*Please note the backyard is getting seeded and has some patches of dirt. Due to the large amounts of rain, it has set back the preparation of the grass this spring. Picture of backyard in photo gallery. We are sorry for this inconvenience.

Other things to note
The backyard (the grass area not near the lake) is getting worked on and should be ready for guests at the beginning of July. We will update pictures as soon as it's available. There will be a stone patio with a covered gazebo and outdoor furniture including a propane firepit. The grill and blackstone will also be stationed in this area. Lake life at it's finest! 70' of shoreline on South Lida with pristine, undeveloped views of Maplewood State Park on the opposite shore. Enjoy amazing summer sunrises or beautiful fall colors! This four-season home boasts 4BR, 3BA with walk-out basement, beautifully vaulted living room, 3-sided gas fireplace, in-floor heat, walk-out master suite with jetted tub, stand alone shower, kitchen includes custom maple cabinets, granite counter tops, chef-quality Italian oven/range. 1/2 acre back lot.

The space
The property is a Lake house on south Lida lake with Maplewood state park taking up most of the shoreline. Great medium size lake, especially when it is windy out. Access under a bridge to north Lida which is one of the largest lakes around. Plenty of space in the house for up to 12 people. Best for a group of 10 if most are adults, but 12 could definitely fit. Large back lot for parking vehicles and boats. One private boat landing not far away that the owner charges $3 to load and unload with an honor system tube set up. One landing in Maplewood state park, which is an amazing drive to see either way, there is a state park fee to enter unless you already have a MN state park pass. Then there is a public landing on the north side of north Lida.

Dead end gravel road, so not a lot of traffic. There is a driveway with up to three parking spots. Also, a large back lot for additional vehicles and water craft right across the gravel road.

Other things to note
Fishing guide or pontoon rentals through baxstaroutdoors.com and baxstarfishing.com. There is a boat lift ($200 per stay) and 2 jet ski lifts ($75 per stay) I can make available. I would take my boat and jet skis off only if requested. Otherwise I plan to just leave them on the lifts. I also have a lake slide set up that can be used with caution and supervision. Use at your own risk. Ring doorbell on front side of home and one monitor on the lake side.

This cozy 2 bed, 1 bath cabin home on Floyd Lake is a relaxing escape with incredible sunset views in the lakes area of Minnesota. Three kayaks (2 adult, 1 child) are waiting at the cabin for your use, or launch your boat at the public access and tie off to the private dock. Spend your summer days outside on the spacious 2-acre property playing yard games or relax and listen to the loons. The lakeside campfire is a family favorite after sundown!

The space
The cabin has two bedrooms. Bedroom #1 has a king bed, writing desk, dresser, and closet. Bedroom #2 has two full beds, a dresser, and a closet. The living room has a large closet and the sofa pulls out into a full bed.

The kitchen is equipped with essential cookware, utensils, tools & supplies. There are 4 bar stools at the counter. The dining table seats 4 comfortably (6 if you squeeze). There is an extra folding table in the hall closet and 2 extra table-height chairs in the house.

Plenty of bath towels, bed linens, and extra blankets are provided. The house also has Wi-Fi, two smart TVs, and a propane grill (propane tank provided).

We hope you enjoy the lake! Four beach towels are provided. There is a guests only swimming beach and private dock that you are welcome to tie a boat to. Big Floyd Lake has a beautiful sandbar as a boating or kayak destination on the lake. Two adult-sized kayaks and 1 child-sized kayak are stored in the shed and four adult-sized life jackets are provided. Please plan to bring your own life jackets for children.

The fire pit will be stocked with one bundle of wood to get you started. You can find more in town. The propane grill will be stocked with enough propane for regular use during your stay (don't forget to turn it off!).

Guest access
The front half of the 2-acre property is shared with a 24-slip marina dock owned by the hosts. Guests should feel free to use any space on the mowed lawn that shares space with the marina dock. Fishing on the marina dock is not permitted. There is a "no parking beyond this point" sign that applies only to boat slip renters (not to guests, please park near the cabin). One security camera is pointed at the marina dock for the security of boat slip renters.

The wooded area behind the cabin is private property and belongs to a neighbor, not the hosts. There should be no trespassing on this private property. One security camera is pointed at the wooded area and the trespassing rule will be strictly enforced. Violations will result in the forfeit of the remainder of the rental period without refund.

The shed at the end of the cabin can be accessed from the outside. There you will find adult-sized lift vests and other outdoor recreation items for your use. Be prepared to bring life vests for your children as they are specific to age and size. The large detached garage is not accessible by guests.

We have a nice cozy cabin featuring 3 private rooms. And one bunk area. Our property is a private family friendly for relaxation and family vacation. It boasts a fully stocked kitchen with multiple fridges for all your cooking needs. We have a very large lot that is unlike any others around. Our lake is perfect for small children to play, so the a shallow entry ability, slides and a HUGE beach front.
Our grass area is over an acre for family games, relaxing outside with your morning cup of coffee with a giant wrap around concrete deck for outside camping dinners.
We have recently added a new Traeger Grill AND a new Blackstone grill for our renters best cooking amenities.
You’ll find nothing like our lake Oasis, the cabin has been in the family since 1902. In 2022-2024 the cabin has been fully restored. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Our cabin is family friendly. We do have Neigbors that we respect with loud noises. We had a strict no party rule, but do allow for family friendly events such as a baby shower or child’s birthday. The property is a complete cabin with a kitchen, bathroom with shower, dining table, living area with TV, and washer/dryer. There is WIFI throughout the cabin. The cabin has 3 bedrooms (2 with single beds, one with a full), and also a lay down futon. There is a screened in porch for the evenings, an outdoor patio setting, and dock that can be utilized. The lake has a gradual incline and can touch down to the bottom easily as one walks in. Also, we have a fun sandy beach that can be an area to relax on or play with the family.

Guests will have access to the entire cabin, parking underneath the covered garage and in front of it, the lake front property.

Other things to note
Big Floyd Lake is a gem of a lake. It is a wonderful lake for all activities (i.e. fishing, kayaking, wakeboarding, waterskiing, tubing, and paddle boarding). It is located very close to Detroit Lakes making it easy to get any needed goods from town. However, it is in its own neighborhood that definitely makes it feel the charms of a lake escape.

We are part of the Clarks Grove Community for Big Floyd Lake. The community endorses a family friendly experience for all. That includes being thoughtful of neighbors and others with sound, activity, and boating.

There is further a city ordinance on the number of people permitted on a property at one time. For our property that maximum would be 12 persons. We ask you please respect this ordinance and be respectful towards the neighbors with your activities. We want everyone to enjoy a safe and fun experience at our lake property.

If a child lifejacket is needed please reach out, we have infant and all child sizes as well as puddle jumpers available at no extra cost.

KITCHEN: Fully stocked kitchen, garbage bags, paper towels, some disposable plates, many spices and coffee/filters are all provided.

The space
Cotton Lake is provides a rare combination of size (1800 acres is a big lake) and solitude. Even on the busiest of weekends, the lake is very quiet. Unless you try, you will not see the direct neighbors. This is a big differentiation vs. most properties in the area. On most properties your neighbors will be close enough where you can hear their conversations and they can hear yours. At our place, we need to be respectful of the neighbors but you will not see them from the beach area at all.

It is the epitome of an 'up north' cabin with soaring eagles and howling loons. You will see plenty of both during your stay. If you are interested, pontoon boat rental is available as well for an extra charge. A slow lap around the lake will take about 2 hours in a pontoon.

One of the benefits of Cotton Lake is the quiet. We expect you will help our neighbors enjoy the same. There are plenty of party places around - if that is your goal, I'd encourage you to look elsewhere. This means no outdoor speakers or music after 9pm. Joyful noises from kids jumping on the water tramp, shrieks of excitement from catching a big fish are highly encouraged.

Despite its solitude, the cabin offers all the creature comforts of a year round home including a dishwasher, WiFi with 50mps speed, three Smart TVs and Air Conditioning. The newly added outdoor shower has quickly become a favorite.

If the weather turns or you just want to run into town, the City of Detroit Lakes is 9 miles south. DL is a great touristy town with great little shops, boat and jet ski rentals and a population of about 8,800. Detroit Mountain, about 7 miles to the south, is a year round recreation center with downhill skiing in the winter and mountain biking in the summer. Both bikes and skis are available for rent. DM has great XC skiing trails as well but if that is your thing, you may want to head to Maplelag which is 22 miles north.

Five miles west is a gun range if you want to shoot stuff. Five miles south you can tube the Ottertail River with an outfitter for $10 per person which is fun and is a great way to kill two hours on a sunny afternoon.

Cotton Lake has it's own restaurant, Curley's which has great food including steaks, prime rib, burgers with a pool table and juke box etc. Curley's is a ice fishing destination as they plow an ice road every year. Although you can walk directly from our place in to pop a hole in the ice, you may opt for a quick 1 mile drive to Curley's so you can drive your rig ( UTV, truck etc) directly onto the ice (at your own risk of course). You can take your snowmobile directly from our driveway to the lake. Minnesota DNR Snowmobile trails 272 and 275 both run across Cotton Lake. Park your sleds in our driveway and access hundreds of miles of trail, we take the run from Cotton Lake up to Elbow Lake a few times per winter.

The cabin has great views of the lake and of sunsets but that also means . Although there some elevation. There are 27 steps from the house to the beach, there is a private gravel road to the beach area should you prefer to drive up and down. We own this road and it a great way to get grandma and grandpa to the water's edge.

Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge flanks the North Side of Cotton Lake for those interested in birding, hiking or biking. TNWF, at 66 sq miles, features a learning center with regularly scheduled programs.

The big grocery store is 10 miles away with a convenience store located two miles down the road.

In summary - there are plenty of things to do in the area should you be interested in something other than enjoying your very own beach :-) If you have any questions about our place or the area, please let me know and I will be glad to help. We use the place quite a bit in the summer time but are happy to rent M-F. During fall, winter and spring, we rent weekends as well.

Three important notes -
1) The second indoor bathroom is a 3/4 bath (sink, tub and toilet).
2) The beds will not be made upon arrival. Your sheets will be clean and placed on each bed. If you are willing, we offer a $50 credit for those willing to wash and dry the sheets and towels prior to departure.
3) Steps - the cabin is on a hill meaning there are steps to the cabin from the driveway and there are steps to the water.

Two kayaks, two stand up paddle boards, a paddle boat and canoe along with fishing poles and tackle box full of crank bait for catching fishing off the end of the docks (mostly panfish, rock bass and large mouth bass with the occasional walleye and northern pike).

The place is fully furnished with shampoo, towels, sheets, pillows, dishes, gas grill etc.

We have a single camera facing the driveway from the back door - this is on and recording 24x7. Of course every hotel in the US has multiple cameras but I figured it is worth mentioning.

Our typical summer rental is Monday at noon to Friday at noon. The reason? We use our place on weekends in the summer. We are pretty flexible with check in and check out times in spring, fall and winter.

I will confirm you are comfortable with all of the rules during the reservation process.

My place is a beautiful NEW year-round designer cabin on Rush Lake that we call “The Glory Cabin”

The Glory Cabin Is Located on Ottertail County (Lakes Area). This county has the most amount of lakes than any other county in Minnesota & the USA! Therefore, this area is one of the most popular vacation destinations in the area for boating and fishing!

We are different from the other cabins in the area in that we have plenty of extra special amenities that will help you and your group relax and unwind. Many of our guests use our place as a mini wellness retreat to encounter nature, sauna, ice bath, massage chair, have fun & escape the chaos of life!

Rush Lake is known in the area for being one of the best walleye fishing & family hangout lakes year-round!

FLOOR PLAN LAYOUT -
There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (3 showers & a soaker tub) on the main floor and 2 sleeping lofts on the second floor which give you plenty of room to have a family gathering and spread out during your stay.

The main floor features the master bedroom with a king-size bed with custom adjustable mood lighting, a walk-in closet, and a full bathroom with a large soaker tub with shower. Also, the master bath has a second walk-in shower.

All showers have huge rainfall shower heads & a tankless water heater system that provides unlimited continual hot water (so no one has to take a lukewarm shower). There is also an outdoor shower to rinse off after playing in the lake in the summer months.

The other two bedrooms include Bedroom 2 featuring a Queen size bed and Bedroom 3 featuring a twin over full bunk. Down the hall, you'll find a 3/4 bathroom, laundry room, and a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen with all you need to feel right at home!

The Great room area features tall vaulted ceilings and beautiful views of the Lake that can be seen on both levels from multiple picture windows. The sunsets are some of the best I’ve ever seen and I’ve traveled to over 45 countries!

The second-floor loft features 2 sleeping & hang-out areas with a total of 3 twins over full Bunks and a double bed & a custom kids' play area with stuffed animals & games to keep the kids entertained & having fun.

The Master King bed has an incredibly beautiful view of the lake and has a custom walk behind closet with bath robes & bath sandals available for your use. You have access to your own bathroom that has a soaker tub and two showers and a private toilet room that has its own closable door

THE SAUNA & HOT TUB
is literally right outside of the master bed so you can easily enjoy at your convenience.

KING BED WITH MOOD LIGHTING
We have a custom built King bed that is very comfortable with plenty of room. It is built in a way where it looks like it is floating in the air (yet it is super secure). It also has mood lighting that comes from beneath and from above setting an amazing atmosphere.

FIRE PIT
Also, there is a fire pit & plenty of comfy chairs. (Firewood is not included/provided, but can be bought in town)

If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, this place is quiet and tranquil. I live in the city, so I often come up here just to escape the city’s chaos & noise. You often will hear lunes calling & Sometimes you can even spot bald eagles flying overhead! Sometimes deer come into the yard & peacefully pay a visit. Truly, Nature has a way of mesmerizing the soul!

GAME AREA UPSTAIRS FOR KIDS!
We built a custom area where kids can play upstairs. We have a variety of games such as life size checkers, huge bean bag and stuffed animals. Kids love to congregate upstairs and play in this area.

We just added 2 Ice bath Tubs that can be set up and used alongside of the sauna or the hot tub (with ice we provide). This is a very popular health trend right now that has many many benefits! It increases dopamine, lowers inflammation, increases energy and produces overall wellness. Some of the top health gurus & CEO’s take ice baths for 1-5 minutes daily and they say it’s absolutely life-changing! Now you can rejuvenate with an ice bath at the glory cabin! Take an ice bath and then jump into the sauna or hot tub to warm up, all while enjoying a beautiful view of the lake. It’s very rejuvenating!

This extra amenity is free if you are willing to set it up and properly take it down and dry it out. It’s easy. (Can be used in winter too).

NEW INFLATABLE WATERSLIDE FOR CHILDREN
We have just added a new inflatable waterslide for children age 10 & under. Kids absolutely love this thing! It blows up in the backyard and creates countless hours of fun. Easy way to keep an eye on your kids while keeping them busy. (Available Summertime only)

This extra amenity is free if you are willing to set it up and properly take it down and dry it out (it’s easy)

DOCK & LAKE ACCESS
During the summer months the dock is in, so bring your boat (Launch from nearby public access) and tie it up on the dock and enjoy all the recreation that the beautiful Minnesota summer months have to offer.

(Dock goes in early May & gets removed at the end of Sept for winter)

PADDLE BOARDS & KYACKS
There are also paddle boards and kayaks available for guest use upon request. We have 4 plastic kayaks and 3 paddle boards. (Enough to take group trips). Once again, The sunsets are second to none!!!

If you are looking for the perfect
getaway to enjoy nature any time of year, my cabin is in close proximity to several state parks such as Maplewood State Park and Glendalough State Park. Both parks have a number of hiking and paved bicycle trails to enjoy some of the most serene beauty in all the lakes area. There are a few public beaches within 10 miles.

VERY CLOSE TO THE BOAT LAUNCH ACCESS. It’s very easy for you to launch your boat and water sports equipment into the lake at the nearby boat launch. It’s right down the road.

In the summer, there is a gas grill & charcoal grill.

*You must bring your own gas & charcoal. You can buy charcoal or propane in town at Carr’s Supermarket, (we do provide the empty propane tank that can be easily refilled ).

HAMMOCKS
In the summertime, there are hammocks outside. They are amazing place to relax & catch a sunset, or if you’re very adventurous, you can sleep in them and watch the stars!

GOLF & RESTAURANTS
Golf course, coffee shops, nice restaurants are within 10 miles.

SHOPPING & BOTIQUES
There are a number of really cute, small town, shopping boutiques nearby in Ottertail and Perham. Enjoy a nice cup of coffee while you go shopping with your friends!

One final thing I will mention is that the small-town Minnesota people in this area are extremely friendly. The laid-back, safe, friendly personalities of the people in this community makes time spent here even more enjoyable & restful.

The lake access is super close if you need to drive on the lake to drop equipment off. Rush Lake is a great ice-fishing lake! & my cabin has in-floor heat, a fireplace, a soaker bathtub & sauna to help you warm up & relax in-between catching fish!

But if you need help, we know ice fishing guides & houses you can rent/hire.

8). SKI & SNOWBOARD -
If you want to spend some time skiing, snowboarding, or sledding, My Cabin is located only 25 miles from Detroit Mountain.

9). SNOWSHOEING FOR YOUR GROUP -
We recently purchased very high-quality snow shoes with hand hiking poles (see pic). We have enough for 7 people and have various sizes. (Small medium and large). If the lake is frozen, you can go hiking around the lake. Or there are nearby trails you can check out. They are free to use as long as you take care of them.
