Cozy cabin home on beautiful, shady, tree filled lot on private North Lake Drive of Lake Kampeska. Close to Kampeska Lodge for hunting and fishing advice and supplies, also convenient to Highway 20, for easy drive to Watertown and shopping or Lakefront dining at North Shore Restaurant. There are three large parks and bike trails encircling the lake. Bike trail access is across the road going by the property.

South Dakota is famous for it's fishing and hunting. You can fish on the many nearby lakes for walleye, pike, and bass. Pheasants are heard daily from the property and duck, goose, and deer hunting are popular in the fall.

Watertown is known for the Terry Redlin Art Museum, Historic Goss Opera House, Casino Speedway Racing, and many other fun activities.

This property is 3.5 hours West of Minneapolis, MN on Hwy 212, 2 hours North of Sioux Falls, SD on Interstate 29, or 2.5 hours South of Fargo, ND on Interstate 29. Built in 1979 and thoughtfully renovated in 2016, this cozy, single-story cabin offers all the charm of a lake retreat with the comforts of home. Nestled on a flat, 100-foot-wide lot, there’s plenty of space to relax, play, and take in the stunning views of Lake Kampeska.

The cabin features 850 sq. ft. of updated living space, including a fully-equipped kitchen, bright sunroom, inviting living room, and stylish shiplap and vinyl plank flooring throughout. With 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, it comfortably sleeps 5 guests—with approval, we can accommodate up to 8.

Sleeping Arrangements:
• Primary Bedroom: Queen bed with extra room for a portable crib.
• Second Bedroom: Twin-over-full bunk bed with space for a pack-n-play or portable crib.
• A pack-n-play is available upon request. For additional guests, you’re welcome to bring an air mattress or sleeping bags—just let us know. (We provide an air pump!)

This lakefront cabin is freshly remodeled in 2013, and includes all the amenities! Warm colors, dog friendly, plenty of parking, great for a summer getaway with the crew, or a winter getaway with the family. Room to beach or anchor a boat, and if the lake is frozen, perfect location to wake right up and head out on the ice to fish. Kayaks available for use!
Bedrooms sleep 2 people each, and there is a loveseat and couch in the living room. Two cots also available to sleep additional people.

“Lot 1028": A single-story cabin sits on a flat, 100’ wide lot with plenty of room to play and enjoy the breathtaking views of Lake Kampeska. The 850 square foot cabin was newly renovated in 2016 to include a full kitchen, living room & sunroom area with shiplap and vinyl wood plank flooring throughout.

The space
This is a roomy 850 square foot, farm style cabin awaiting your arrival! The open floor plan is great for kids and entertaining while enjoying the views of Lake Kampeska. Come rain or shine! The garage offers a lake side garage door where you could enjoy any rainy day or enjoy the outdoor concrete patio for calming mornings to sunset evening gatherings with family and friends!

You will have access to the entire property except the shed north of the garage.

The lake water levels are subject to change with high volumes of rain and/or seasonal changes which in turn can effect the exposure of the beach area on the property. Please let us know if you have any questions and check in with us to discuss the water levels at the time of your stay.

***ATTENTION***
Lake Kampeska does have zebra mussels which attach to rocks, docks, structures that touch the lake floor. Please BRING & WEAR Water shoes if you plan on swimming or walking around beaches or lake floor. We have some shoes sizes available in the garage. Thanks!

Sandy Shore State Park is locates 0.5 miles down the road from
the cabin and they have some rental options and boat launch.

Glacial Lakes Rental is also available. Sorry we are unable to share the link to these areas in the lake…please look them up!

Vehicles without SD State Park Stickers can pay by the Day, Week, or season via vending machine or attendant at the entrance. Boat landing access is available with a park sticker.

RIDDLE'S ROOST (as known to the locals) has been nestled in the well-known area of Stony Point since 1948. Voted #1 side on Lake Kampeska. Once you arrive., you will know you have gotten away from it all. Riddle's Roost has an open floor plan which sleeps 5. It has two bedrooms which consists of a set of twin and twin/queen bunk beds. You will also want to catch a sunrise-sunset on the dock, or simply around the outdoor fire-pit with a night ending in s'mores!
