The perfect little stay for those visiting Watertown, SD. A one bedroom furnished apartment, with full kitchen and a washer and dryer means you have everything you need to make your visit comfortable.
Due to the nature of short stays and multiple guests throughout the year, pets are not allowed.

- "PROs: The apartment is clean and the building is VERY quiet, the mattress is very comfortable - which are all a HUGE benefit over most hotel accommodations in Watertown. It is nice to have a full kitchen to cook in - again another HUGE benefit over a minifridge and microwave! It is a secure building and all you need is a code pass to enter the building and the unit. The sense of safety was a nice change from a typical hotel stay. Also - there is a full size washer and dryer IN THE UNIT that is free to use. CONs: The shower curtain rod fell down and I had a hard time figuring out how to get it back up. The bedside clock is super bright (I covered it with a washcloth and could still read the time just fine). There were no extra trash bags for the kitchen trash, and only one dishwasher pack. I wasn't crazy about the microfiber bedsheets. If I stay again I will be sure to bring cotton bedsheets, extra kitchen trash bags and dishwasher packets. Overall, I would stay again and would be willing to pay the extra money to avoid the regular hotel options in town."

Small but cozy, if you are a typical bohemian, this place is for you. Best bang for your buck. Its an old home, but will fit your needs. One of the first homes built in Watertown.
There is potential for noise, but not excessive.

(we may have to remove chairs for xlarge kennels). We do not allow pets in the bedrooms! Please follow all the dog etiquette for cleaning up after your pet! Sportsman: there is a utility sink for you to clean your catch, along with some ziplock freezer bags for your convivence. WiFi is available, The bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer, shower products and a walk in shower for your comfort. There is no kitchen, No microwave, While this property is on Lake Kampeska, the lake side is not available to you, however, there are public beaches available. We'll be available to answer any questions while you stay at our place.

So comfortable! Everything you need to enjoy a short or long stay in our friendly, up-and-coming community. You'll have a fully-stocked kitchen with welcome basket, spotless bathroom with tons of storage space, washer/dryer, 1-gig wifi, office desk. Step outside onto your sunny patio and enjoy the grill! It's an easy 2-block walk to the grocery store, and a couple more blocks to coffee, sushi, BBQ, breweries, boutiques! One mile to Lake Area Tech and Prairie Lakes Hospital.

The space
The bright and sunny kitchen is fully stocked, with all the dishes, utensils and cookware you might need. A welcome basket with coffee, tea and snacks will start your first morning on a positive note! Main bedroom has queen-sized Beautyrest mattress - heavenly! Also a nightstand, large dresser and closet. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are small, with twin-sized beds, and are best for children. Private washer/dryer has a starter supply of laundry products for your convenience.

Guest access
The apartment is the second floor of an up/down duplex and has two private entrances. The main front entrance is a "normal" staircase. The back stairway is the original maid's stairway in this historic home; the stairway is steep and is not recommended for small children (please have children and pets use the front stairway). Baby gate is provided for blocking interior access to the stairway. You also have access to half of the sunny back patio, with grill and patio furniture. There are three off-street parking spaces for your use.

Other things to note
Please - no street shoes inside the house! Pet towels are available for keeping Fido's paws clean too :)
Quiet hours are 11 pm to 7 am.
No smoking in the house; please use the patio.

Lovely 2nd floor apartment, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated! We're located right in the center of town, with private driveway parking and close to everything. Full kitchen with dishes, cookware, all appliances. Large bedroom has queen-sized bed, small bedroom has twin bed; twin air mattress available. Living room has three recliners, smart TV, high-speed wifi, and comfy nook with toys for the kids. Private entrance. Patio and gas grill are shared with the owners and are yours to use!

Beautiful 1919 Craftsman home was fully restored in 2019, with all new electricity, plumbing, HVAC and appliances. We hope you enjoy this comfortable home as much as we do!

The home's main foyer has two separate entry doors into the main floor (occupied by the owners) and into the stairway for the second floor apartment.

Elegantly restored 1919 Craftsman bungalow, filled with character. The fully stocked kitchen has brand new appliances; full bathroom includes washer and dryer. The main bedroom has a cozy queen bed and lots of closet space. Four- season porch has full-sized futon, twin-sized daybed, treadmill and rowing machine. Dining room and sunporch provide a sunny place to enjoy your morning coffee or serve a full dinner. The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this central location.

Guest access
You will have the entire main floor to yourself, as well as the patio behind the house. The second floor is a separate apartment, with its own entrance.

Other things to note
The house is located on a main highway in Watertown, but with a large private driveway for your vehicle. Road noise in not noticeable inside the house, but can be heard on the rear patio especially on summer evenings.

Small but quaint, you will definately get that COZY feel the minute you walk in! You will have all of the comforts of home, but with a BONUS!! When you venture out, you will be CLOSE by, within walking distance to the best or Watertown's eateries, 2 breweries, Gather Coffee Shoppe! Entertainment all year long, at the infamous Goss Opera House, in warmer months enjoy being right across the street from Watertown's Foundation Park, home to outdoor music and entertainment, and main street events.
