During the warmer months, you’ll likely hear boat traffic on the water and occasionally music drifting from Ernie’s. Standard parking includes one garage stall and one lot space. If you're bringing a trailer, boat trailer, or RV, a limited number of on-site parking spaces (A–D) are available for rent and can be reserved after booking. The nearest public boat launch is just minutes away at Government Point.

The neighborhood is also close to nature trails, public beaches, and downtown Brainerd, which is just a short drive away and offers coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, and seasonal events. Pontoon Rental: A weathered but reliable pontoon is available for daily rental (8 AM to 7 PM). Perfect for cruising, fishing, or visiting lakeside destinations.

E-Bike Rentals: Ride along lake roads, nearby trails, or into town with our convenient electric bikes.

Boat Lift Rental: Our 3,000 lb boat lift is suitable for most mid-sized boats (not pontoons) and available to guests or the public by reservation.

Trailer/Boat/RV Parking: A limited number of on-site parking spaces (A–D) are available to rent for trailers, boat trailers, or RVs. These must be reserved after booking and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Studio on Sixth St. is an economy stay and walking distance to the heart of downtown Brainerd. The studio is in a house with 3 other units. The studio has its own outside entrance in the front of the house which leads right into the space you will be staying. There are 2 long term renters, and another 2-bedroom Airbnb upstairs (Two Bedroom on Sixth).

The backyard has one available space for guests to park.

* Car noise possible in relation to being downtown on the main road.

The space
Studio on Sixth is a cozy studio with lots of amenities. A full kitchen with refrigerator, full size electric oven, sink, microwave, & coffee maker. A cute kitchen island with seating for two serves as the dining space. The kitchen has all the pots and pans needed to cook in the studio.

In the living room you have a 2.5 seater couch opposite a 43" Roku TV. Next to the living space you have a Queen size bed, a closet, and a changing area with full size mirror.

In the bathroom, there is a newly updated shower.

Studio on Sixth is a non-pet/non-smoking studio. If there is an indication of smoking or pets reported from housekeeping, you will be charged a fee.

This is a spacious completed basement in our home, perfect space for travelers looking for a cozy place to rest while enjoying your time in Little Falls.

The space
For large groups wanting to add additional space for their group this is the perfect space connecting to the upstairs by a flight of stairs, or kept locked and using a separate entrance. This is a basement unit where the temperature stays a bit cooler all year round and it's not soundproof, so you can hear some noises from the main living room space if other guests are staying upstairs.

Due to our humid summers in Minnesota, we do have 2 dehumidifiers running in the summer in this basement apartment. You don't have to do anything for them, but they add additional background noise to ensure your stay is dry and comfortable.

We call this space “The Dojo” because for 17 years we operated it as a karate school, before moving our school to another location. It is part of a commercial building that we have transformed into a stylish and spacious retreat for your family. This unit is only 1 mile to the boat landing for boating and fishing. We are right on the snowmobile trail, close to bike trails, hiking trails, golf, restaurants , shopping,wedding venues and everything that Crosslake has to offer.

This unit is set back from the main highway, so you may get some road noise. We do have a sound machine for guests that would like it for the road side bedroom.

The space
Lovely one bedroom, second floor apartment retreat for one or two people on Gull Lake. We are not set up for infants or babies. This is a spacious, private apartment that is part of our home. It is located in a vibrant summer neighborhood filled with many long-time family-owned summer cabins. You will have access to our sand beach with beach chairs. This is a perfect home-base for all your area adventures.

The apartment has its own private entrance with a keyless lock for self check-in, a chair lift, if mobility issues make climbing stairs an issue, air conditioning, washer, dryer, galley style kitchen with all appliances, a spacious bathroom with shower, and one bedroom with a queen sized bed. Vaulted ceilings and plentiful windows lend this apartment a light and airy feel. Wi-fi and tv with basic cable and Netflix is provided.

There is parking in a designated spot for one vehicle in our driveway.

We do not have room at our dock for a motorboat or for visitors with boats. There are two recreational kayaks available for your use. Feel free to bring your own paddle boards or kayaks. There are plenty of opportunities for a round of golf in the area. And don’t forget your bicycles for riding the nearby Paul Bunyan Trail or a leisurely 3 mile ride to downtown Nisswa on city roads where you will find a multitude of dining and shopping options. There is a grocery store a mile away and Grand View Lodge is right next door and has some public options for dining, golf, and more. We are not affiliated in any way with Grand View Lodge.

We live on site and can be found working in the yard, at the beach, or out on the water. We don’t allow pets though we have a friendly dog on premises and our neighbors also have dogs.

The privacy and comfort of our neighbors is of the utmost importance to us. That is why we ask that you respect the boundaries of our property, follow our quiet time rule of 10pm-7 am, have no campfires, and contact us immediately if you have any issues or concerns.

Because we are next door to a large resort, you will often hear noise and activities from the resort. This is part of living in a fun, busy neighborhood. Despite the proximity to the busy resort, we manage to maintain a pretty tranquil atmosphere on our property and that is how we like it.

This location is lovely in the busy summer months but because this is a year-round home, the apartment is also available at all other seasons. In the Fall, after the docks are removed it is especially peaceful. You can then walk the mile long sandy beach looking for agates, enjoy the Fall colors, and the sunsets and sunrises from our beach. Winter offers opportunities to cross country ski on the lake and on nearby ski trails, skate on the public rink in Nisswa or snowmobile and ice fish if you have the right gear.
