- "I just spent 3 nights at the most beautiful cabin. It really is prettier than the pictures. A little context about my trip- I am a woman in her early 30s who needed a little getaway from work and school. This was my first time going and staying somewhere alone for days in a row. I want to express how incredibly SAFE I felt on the property. The area was very nice, quiet, and welcoming. I had absolutely no troubles taking the cover off and on the hot tub by myself. The salt water hot tub was one of the big selling points for me. It was cold and rainy during most of my stay, but the hot tub was still so enjoyable. Kelly and Tim are the most amazing hosts and go out of their way to accommodate and make sure I was all took care of the whole time. The coffee bar was impressive. The area is also beautiful. Was able to find some pretty trails near by. There was some really good restaurant options between Crosby and Brainerd/Baxter. I'd say this little trip exceeded my expectations for my first solo trip. I will definitely be back, and I cannot wait :)"

The highlight of our stay was boating and swimming on the pristine lake. We were in the area for a wedding so would like to return when our time isn't so limited to fully enjoy this property. Of note the stairs to the upper bedrooms are steep and spiral a bit and may be difficult for the very young or very old. couplevofchoursc"

- "We recently spent a week at this lovely property with our 3 adult children and 2 young grandchildren. The house and property served our needs perfectly, with plenty of room for cooking, eating, sleeping and enjoying the outdoors. Was very pleasantly surprised to discover an over abundance of towels, which was so appreciated. Within walking distance of the town of Crosby and the city park, and a short bike ride to get on a bike trail. We hope to make this a bi-annual event. Only one suggestion is a clothes line strung between a couple of trees would have been nice for drying towels and so forth. Thanks again for the wonderful accommodations and outstanding communication. Elizabeth and John"

This cozy pet friendly cabin overlooks the serene Pine River. With a hot tub, wood fire stove and wood fire sauna, there are many options of relaxation during your stay. With 5 acres of wooded land, there is plenty of space to roam, explore and enjoy and array of wildlife. Try out the snow shoes, kayaks, or drive 10 minutes to Cuyuna Rec Biking trails and the cute town of Crosby with many fun restaurants and shops to choose from.
The space
This Scandinavian minimalistic themed cabin embraces the nature indoors. With south facing views, the living space is filled with sun all day and a beautiful sunset to look forward to over the river. There is a full kitchen for cooking and memory foam Nova Beds for an amazing nights rest (1 king, 1 queen). The sheets are 100% bamboo that are cooling and feel silky to the touch. There are extra blankets to cozy up with and plenty of firewood to start a fire. We encourage using the wood fire stove to heat the cabin but must be 18 years or older. There will be plenty of chopped wood for fires during your whole stay 🪵
Guest access
You can access the cabin by a keyless keypad entry.
Other things to note
There is a total of 8.5 acres of land on the river front that is shared with two newly built Cuyuna Matata cabins. Each is still secluded with their own views of the river but share the same river access. The wood fire sauna is private to this cabin. We split all the wood for the wood fire stove and sauna but also provide a splitter to make smaller kindle. Please do not use the chopped wood for outdoor fires as it goes through it too quickly. We suggest using fallen branches or bring your own wood for outdoor fires.
