This property was completely renovated in the fall of 2014 and is essentially like new inside and out. Done in a true cabin feel, Lazy Pines has a wonderful open floor plan on the main level that features a combined great room/kitchen/living room with a large wood-burning fieldstone fireplace for those chilly nights (fire wood included of course!!). During the summer, this recreational lake is perfect for fishing, skiing, wake boarding canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding and all water based activities, including floating on an air mattress!! There is a sandbar where you can walk across the lake which is a favorite gathering spot for 'kids of all ages'!! It's location on a quiet tar township road make it perfect for a morning walk or bike ride. During the winter months the lake is perfect for ice fishing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and is a perfect base camp to access the endless miles of groomed snowmobile trails.

Loved the decor and historical items throughout the cabin! Outside included beautiful landscaping, lighting and 2 very nice decks off of the house and one below in the peaceful, spring-fed lake. We appreciated the paddle board and kayak. Right across the road was access to the Crosslake and the whole chain of lakes. Pontoon was fantastic, relaxing and worked great. Also, it was the perfect spot to watch the fireworks that were shot off from an island close to shore. Rob and Leslie were super attentive to our needs and always very responsive. We look forward to hopefully returning again and again."

Our home features a lofted bedroom with two full sized beds, and a bunk bed on the main level. This cabin features excellent privacy on a 1.5 acre lot and is heavily surrounded by trees. Enjoy bonfires by the river in the evenings and drinks on the deck or head to one of the many restaurants in the area! ** we are pet friendly, however, there is a $100 fee if you are bringing pets. When booking the property please indicate you are traveling with pets.

Our town-home walks out to Cross Lake located on the Whitefish Chain of 14 lakes and is western-facing for incredible sunsets. Bring your own boat or rent right here for exploring the 14 lake chain.

There is a swimming beach, boat slip and pool house with hot tub, sauna, pool and workout room. Guests also have access to the Firehall with gymnasium, pickle ball, ping pong, pool, bumper pool and lounge area. Firehall can also be rented for large events.

We love to walk to nearby restaurants, mini-golf, shops and the nature center. The National Loon Center is located in Crosslake and offers free 2-hour guided loon tours with a pontoon ride. Many nearby attractions including golf courses, boat rentals, snowmobile trails, distinctive shops and excellent dining. Lots to do in all seasons in beautiful Crosslake.

Wonderful lake to be on with beautiful sunsets ,great fishing off the dock, nice beach. access to a pontoon if needed is nice also. Ate at the moonlight restaurant down the road in the brewery across the street nice location. Only downfall which is partially my fault for assuming and not specifically asking was quite a few stairs going down to the unit and very steep stairs getting to the docks for my disabled parents. Wi-Fi little weak in unit so used property one , worked better. Nice pool hot tub and sauna if you’re planning on staying in the cooler months on site. Thanks for a great stay."

The kitchen is stocked with everything you would ever need. The walls are knotty pine and it creates a cozy atmosphere. The main level has an air conditioner to keep you cool. It has lots of windows to create natural sunlight shining in the living room all day. Upstairs is a bedroom with 2 twin beds, a loft, and a bath with shower. The property is only 1 mile from Crosslake, so it’s in a very convenient location. There is a outdoor fire pit by the river, and it’s very peaceful to sit down there and listen to the river. You can also hear the river flow from the deck. The owner of this property is very responsive to any needs, and has created a warm and cozy place for you to enjoy. I would definitely recommend this property any season of the year."

City park is a couple of blocks away with tennis courts, a playground for the kids, etc. There is a wonderful Community Center. Cross Lake is right across the street with private lake access with a dock for your boat. Great fishing and water activities. Cross Lake City Park is very close with something for everyone (including Pickle Ball!). The property also includes space for two RV hookups.

We call this place our shome – a shed/home! The outside may look like a shed but the inside is a beautiful, newly built, cozy place located mostly in the woods in the heart of Crosslake.

The space
Our shome is two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main area layout is an open floor plan with a great gathering area and a fantastic large fully stocked kitchen with all the kitchen gadgets you need. We limit the guest number to 6 so all have a comfy queen size bed to sleep. The master bedroom has two queens and an attached bathroom, and the other room has one queen bed with a bathroom located right outside. Each bedroom has a large TV with cable included. If your stay requires laundry, there is a laundry room off the main area. The driveway is large to easily accommodate your vehicles, boats, and other toys. The shome is located behind our main home, is surrounded by three sides of woods and is attached to two storage units. The storage units are rarely accessed so you will be in the comfort and quiet of your own place.

Have a dog and want to bring him or her with? We are a fan of well-behaved dogs and know how important they are to travel with! Please contact the host and we will discuss your options but for a small fee, we are happy to welcome your beloved pet!

We are located conveniently to everything in Crosslake! Out the front door and down the driveway is a four-mile paved walking/biking path. We are located one mile from one of the largest public access on Crosslake to enjoy the incredible Whitefish Chain of Lakes, within a couple minutes of golf courses, many delicious restaurants, ice cream, wedding venues, boat and snowmobile rentals, and so close to miles of all types of trails (Hiking, ATV, Biking, snowmobile, Cross Country Skiing, Snow shoeing and more)! Recreational opportunities are plentiful throughout the seasons.

Don’t want to go out? No problem, enjoy a great dinner on the propane grill, cozy up in front of the gas fire place, appreciate the quietness, roast a marshmallow over the backyard fire pit, and top it off with watching a TV show or movie on the Livingroom’s smart TV with any of your Netflix, Youtube, Hulu accounts or cable provided. Carriage House is a stand alone unit behind Birch Hill Inne and is rented as a no services unit. We do not offer any other services other than lodging. Maximum licensed occupancy is 2 persons. We prefer an adult only rental. We do not accept stays with a child under 10 years of age. Non Smoking, non cooking unit.

Parking in the lot in front of the inn is required, at no time shall any guest park in the driveway behind the inn except for loading and unloading and upon approval by owner.

Our home is the perfect get away for the avid golfer, fisherman who doesn’t want to be confined to a single lake, mountain biker, or family visit. We offer a ramp access through the garage and first floor living for the mobility challenged. The master bathroom offers a walk in shower and several grab handles. We have a large circle driveway that is great for fishermen or snowmobilers to come in with their trailers and not have to back in or out.

- We offer the use of 2 adult kayaks and one small kayak. (The kayaks are unavailable the week before, the week of, and the week after the 4th of July due to personal use)

- We offer the use of fishing rods and tackle boxes.

- We offer the use of a variety of sizes of life jackets which must be used with the kayaks.

- We offer the use of several bikes.

- We offer the use of a popup ice house.

- We offer the use of 3 sets of golf clubs and golf equipment.

- We offer a small library of books and games.

- We offer the use of an Xbox360 and some games.

- We offer the use of a large library of both kid and adult movies.

- We offer the use of our outdoor fire pit and outdoor lawn chairs. (Please be fire safe and do not have fires during dry and windy conditions. You will be held liable if you burn down the town.)

- We offer the use of picnic blankets and beach towels.

- We offer the use of outdoor toys such as balls, cornhole, beanbags, baseball, Frisbees, badmitten, among others!

- We offer the use of a hammock in the backyard during the summer months.

- We offer the use of an on site pack n play.

All of these items are for use at your own risk. Since we do not charge for these items use we offer no guarantee that these items will be available or usable during your stay. We do hope that they will always be there but due to the fact that life happens they may or may not be available. Please let us know if you are booking specifically for any of these items and I will update you if anything happens.

Other things to note
What we expect –

We offer the use of our home and our possessions at a very affordable rate. While we do not charge for the use of these extras we do require that you sign them out and clean up, maintain, and put away these items if you use them. We will need to charge an extra cleaning fee if you do use these items and do not clean up after yourself. Our standard cleaning fee is based on basic level cleaning and laundry.

Clean up of the kayaks involves washing them down with the provided hose located in the garage and draining and drying them completely so that there is no stagnant water in them. If you choose not to properly clean up the kayaks we will need to charge an extra $150 cleaning fee due to the extra time and manpower than is needed. Clean up of the ice house is $75. Clean up of all other items are $10 each. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

We do have a few small chores that we ask that you do before you leave.

- We ask that you start a load of towels before you leave. We have provided black makeup washcloths in all bathrooms.

- We ask that you please take out the kitchen garbage or any stinky or excessive amounts of garbage to the garbage can outside. We do recycle so please use the recycling if you have glass, plastic, or cardboard. If you stay through Sunday we require you to take the garbage bin to the curb for garbage collection on Monday morning. If you fail to take the garbage to the curb you will be charged an extra $30 for disposal.

- We ask that you do not make your beds. You’re welcome to strip the top sheet off but please do not strip the waterproof liner unless it was soiled.

- We ask that you please load and run the dishwasher before you leave.

- We ask that you please turn off all the lights, electronics, air conditioning, heaters, and make sure all the windows are closed and locked.

- We ask that you log out of any apps that you used on the TV because we probably wont be there to log you out when you realize someone is binging on your HBO account.

- We ask that you please be respectful and clean up after yourself. We aren’t asking you to vacuum or dust or scour the bathrooms, but if you use items please put them back where you got them from. Our cleaning fee doesn’t mean you can be a trash goblin and disrespect our home and possessions.

Please note the home is next to the woods and the lake, nature is beautiful and all around! Wildlife and insects are a part of life in the area and cannot be avoided totally. We do have regular professional pest control applications, but please prepare for your northwoods experience and bring bug spray in the summer months!

The home has a well providing water for use, which is normal for lake cabins as there is no city water available. The water has been lab tested and safe for drinking, it does contain trace amounts of naturally occurring iron oxide from the soil in the area which sometimes gives the water a slight brown-ish color appearance.

The home does have a Ring doorbell with video capabilities and one outdoor Ring floodlight camera facing the wood fire pit for security purposes. These are only on when activated and are not continuously recording.

Here is a cozy up-north getaway just 5 minutes from downtown Crosslake, 10 minutes to Breezy Point and 15 minutes from the Cuyuna bike trails. Our home features a lofted bedroom with two full sized beds, and a bunk bed on the main level. The cabin is located just off of Co. Rd. 3 for easy access into town. Enjoy bonfires by the river in the evenings and drinks on the deck or head to one of the many restaurants in the area!

The space
The Guest Suite has a paved path that will lead you to your private dock access. Bring you boat, rent one to be dropped on the lake or partake in the great dock fishing right off your private dock.

The Guest Suite is located adjacent (not attached) to the main house yet set back and private. You will be the only guest in the suite cottage where the Guest Suite is with your own private entrance.

The kitchenette area has a fridge and a counter top cooking unit that can be used as a small convection oven, toaster and air fryer. You will also find a Keurig coffee maker with coffee pods to use during your stay.

Enjoy the private full bath that has a shower and barn door that closes for privacy. Take a peak at the lake while getting ready for the relaxation of the day.

The cabin is located on Goodrich Lake with views perfect for sunsets and if you are lucky, northern lights. It is a nice tranquil lake without the boat traffic of the Whitefish chain.

The space
The two-cabin layout has separate sleeping areas perfect for a family escape.
The main cabin has one bedroom and a newly remodeled bathroom. Sleeping is also available on the new sofa sleeper in the three seasoned room, smart TV and electric fireplace as well. The bunk room is separated from the living room by a 1/2 wall.
The outside patio provides a shaded space to enjoy great views of the lake while grilling. The kitchen has all the essentials. There is a well-maintained Kinetico water system that is the preferred drinking water over the tap water.
There is a coffee bar including a kureg provided with supplied coffee pods or a drip coffee maker with coffee beans.
The guest cabin, 20 yards behind the main cabin, provides additional sleeping space with a queen bed and bathroom with shower.

Amenities during your stay include Wifi, plenty of fans and portable AC units in both the main and guest cabins. There is a lakeside picnic table, hammock, fire ring with provided Adirondack chairs. The lakeside deck has a table set, propane grill and hanging rack for towels and wet swimsuits.

Savor a quiet cup of morning coffee on the deck just steps from the waterfront. Listen for the loons calling or spot eagles soaring overhead. Adding to the peacefulness, there is undeveloped land across the lake from the cabin for perfect sunset backdrops. Enjoy the provided paddleboards or kayaks and water trampoline for the kids.

Other notes about Goodrich Lake: This bow-tie shaped lake is 382 acres in size and is approximately 32 feet deep at its deepest point. It is a full recreation lake with most boaters using fishing, pontoon or smaller power boats. Many of the residents on Goodrich Lake tube and ski, but large wake boats would be more difficult to use due to their depth and the shallowness of the lake. Guests who fish can expect the classic Minnesota fish species.

The space
This quaint little cabin will remind you of a boat house right next to the lake. It has two levels. The main level has the kitchen, living room, screen porch, full bathroom and main bedroom. OUTSIDE steps will lead you to the lower level bedroom and the lake. The lower level has a double bed, a single bed and a sofa bed, along with cable TV and a patio. (No a/c in lower level, but there is window and fan for airflow). Note: the only bathroom is located on the upper level, which is accessed by the outside stairs if you are on the lower level. 2 kayaks provided with cabin, along with a private dock for your boat and small beach area.

We have 3 cats that wander the property. Piper is our orange tabby cat and is very friendly. Ava is our chocolate point siamese. She is our shy girl. Bella is our grey tabby and the most likely to wander by for a back rub.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located cottage in Crosslake, MN. On the Whitefish Chain of Lakes, you have access to 14 lakes, multiple restaurants, activities, parks, golf, beaches and fun! You will be within 20 miles of Cayuna Bike Trails and within walking distance to all Crosslake has to offer. We are on a quiet, private point with nine other homes, including ours. You will have access to our private beach and dock.

The space
This is a former resort cabin that has been renovated. The bedrooms are approximately 10’x10’ each, and the kitchen and great room area is approximately 20’x10’, plus a 50sq.ft. bathroom. The deck is “L”-shaped and is approximately 30’x6’x10’. There is a long, dirt driveway with much room for extra vehicles and hauling trailers. The cabin sits on an acre lot with a small home, occupied by the owners. The beach is private.

The cottage is located on beautiful Goodrich Lake which is two hours north of the Twin Cities. Very clean and clear lake, sandy bottom with gradual elevation makes it perfect for swimming activities. Centrally located between the towns of Nisswa and Crosby and 5 miles to Crosslake.
New in 2025 is a vintage bunkhouse. Great sleeping area for kids, sleeps two.

New for 2025 is a vintage kids bunkhouse, sleeps two and is perfect for a that lake vacation memories.
Wake up to the sounds of early morning loon calls, watch eagles flying over the dock or enjoy the tranquility of the morning sunrise from the shore. Across the lake is the Cuyuna Boy Scout camp and an undeveloped DNR property which makes for a terrific scenic view as well as limits boat traffic. Sitting on the dock with your favorite refreshment, a leisurely kayak ride around the lake, bike ride or a walk surrounded by majestic pines are all at your doorstep.

Goodrich lake is known for its great fishing, available for your use is a 14’ aluminum fishing boat with an electric or gas motor. Also, two kayaks , two bikes and a canoe are available to guests.

Located 5 miles from the city of Crosslake, close proximity to grocery and hardware stores, various outside patio dining and local restaurants as well as the famous “Crafts and Cones” for ice cream. Centrally located to the towns of Nisswa and Crosby for day trips. Also, close to several of the most popular golf courses on the Brainerd Trail.

Take advantage of the winter months too. Enjoy ice fishing, snowmobiling on groomed trails, snow showing and/or relaxing around the gas fireplace in the porch. Three pairs of snowshoes available in the winter. No matter what the season, the cottage has everything you need to make your up-north visit memorable.

This lake is also connected to the Pine River, so you can boat up and down it to visit the “Rock Dam” and eagles nests. At night, enjoy s’mores or your beverage of choice around the outdoor fire pit.

Weekend reservations in the months of May, June, July, Aug, Sept and Oct must include 2 weekend nights. Memorial and Labor Day weekends must include 3 night reservations. 4th of July rental is for 3 to 7 night minimum depending on where it falls in the week/calendar. Relax by yourself at this cozy cabin located in the town of Crosslake. Close to other towns like Pequot Lakes, Emily and Breezy Point. Or come with a group of friends or the whole family and stay at this vintage cabin at the lake.

The space
The cabin has an ample living room, dining room, fireplace and kitchen area. The couch pulls out into a bed that sleeps two people. Cabin also has a full bathroom with a shower. And two bedrooms one with a full size bed and the other with bunk beds that sleep 3 people. Cabin is very quiet. Neighborhood is peaceful and a mix of some homeowners and regular cabin goers.

Guests love it—it includes over 10 videos showcasing the home and its amenities, along with detailed instructions and tips. We kindly ask that it's shared with all adults staying at the property.

Plus, every guest has our personal cell number and is encouraged to call or text us anytime, 24/7, with questions or anything they might need.

Guests will have access to the whole property. Door codes are sent via text three days before the check in date.

Other things to note
In the evenings, gather around the lakeside fire pit to roast marshmallows and share stories under the stars. The outdoor space is ideal for creating lasting memories with your group.

For extra fun and relaxation, the bonus room serves as a separate hangout spot, perfect for movie nights, games, or simply unwinding after a day of lakeside adventures.

Our cabin is only a couple miles from the Beautiful town of Crosslake! Hop on a bike and your there within minutes to enjoy any of the several awesome and unique restaurants such as The Wharf, Zorbaz, The Ox Lake Tavern, Moonlite Bay, Crafts and Cones for ice cream/coffee and so many more! Our own road of Anchor Point Road has its own paved walking path right at you finger tips for that early morning jog or long evening walk:-) There is so much to explore right outside the cabin door!

We have 2 very friendly Pups (Toga and Stormi) but they are not able to gain access to the guest cabin property due to an underground fence that has been professionally installed. But they do love cuddles if you want to say hi to them and they “sing” from time to time:-)

Arla’s Pond Cottage is designed for relaxation and connection with nature. Surrounded by a peaceful private pond and acres of scenic wilderness, this charming retreat offers stunning views, abundant wildlife, and plenty of space to explore.

Inside, you’ll find big open windows, Nordic-inspired decor, and updated modern amenities. Whether you’re planning a girl’s weekend, a cozy couples’ getaway, a retreat with friends, or a small family gathering, this is the place to be.

The space
We are on a BEAUTIFUL Pond located JUST OFF of the Whitefish Chain of Lakes (so no, we are not connected - but SO CLOSE). We are 3 mins from the Boat Launch for the Chain, so if you need to get on the lake, we can make that happen!

The property is just shy of 3 acres. Feel free to walk the paths around the property and relax out by the fireplace (wood provided - one bundle).

You will love staying at this little oasis in the woods, we can't wait for you to experience it!

** The Property Manager lives on the lower level of the property. You should never really notice she is there, but if you need something, help is never far away! She is a great resource for all things Crosslake!
