BAXTER BEACH HOUSE:
Welcome to our four seasons lakeside cabin located in Baxter Minnesota. Baxter Beach House is a newly renovated 4 bedroom, 2-bath home located on the sandy shores of White Sand Lake which is a ~400+ acre public access lake known for excellent fishing and only a ten-minute drive into Brainerd/Baxter for all your dining and shopping needs. The home, built in the 1940s, has been recently renovated with new flooring, a modern color palette and new furniture. The property is on City utilities so has reliable water, sewer, WiFi and electricity (including central heat and A/C).

The cabin features a lakeside living room with fireplace and a beautiful view of the lake, dining room table for six, a fully equipped and stocked kitchen with two breakfast bar stools for additional seating. For bedtime, there is a king bed in the master, a queen bed in the second bedroom, a full size bed with twin trundle in the third bedroom, and a queen bed in the lower-level bedroom. All bedrooms feature powered USB chargers. The living room sofa also features a queen size sleeper sofa. In all, the home can accommodate up to eleven people. The home also features two bathrooms, each complete with a walk-in shower, toilet, and vanity.

In addition to the amazing lake and sunset views, the Living Room also features a 75” smart TV mounted above a 65" electric fireplace. The Master Bedroom features a 55" TV, and the lower level boasts a new game room with multi-game arcade, Wii system on a 42" TV, air hockey table, and jumbo Connect Four game.

The cabin is a great place to spend time, but the outdoors is why you come up north, and Baxter Beach House has several different areas of outdoor recreation areas starting with the rear patio which is accessed via sliding glass door in the Living Room. The paver patio features a six-person table with chairs and an umbrella, a gas grill and a gas fire table with two gliders to keep you warm while taking in the lake views.

The backyard features a large grassy area for playing family games like the included cornhole, croquet, Yardzee, and bocce ball, and can also serve for impromptu games of football, soccer, etc. (though there is a large City Park located a block away). The backyard also features a lakeside fire pit with plenty of chairs and is an excellent place to enjoy the phenomenal sunsets.

Continue the fun lakeside as the property features a large soft sand beach shoreline with shallow beach entry and swimming area which is a great area for the family to splash and play in. We have provided two kayaks, a stand-up paddleboard, a Lily Pad Lake mat, a paddleboat, numerous sand toys, an assortment of fishing poles, and a variety of life jackets for your use. A 70-foot-long dock is seasonally available and accommodates a range of boats but is also a great place to fish from or just relax on the built-in bench and wave to passing boats.

Baxter Beach House is a wonderful year-round vacation base station in which to enjoy the lake life along with all the festivities the Brainerd-Baxter-Nisswa-Pequot Lakes area has to offer. We look forward to hosting you!!!

This level lot has a sugar sand bottom and crystal clear water. Kristoferson Park is 1 block away. They have a great playground, pavilion, hockey rink, volleyball, and baseball fields. About 10-15 minutes to championship golf (Madden's, Grand View and Cragun's).

Close to town!! Top notch dining, grocery shopping, boutique shopping, and the Paul Bunyan bike trail are all within 5 minutes, this is the perfect location for your next vacation! Cub Foods, Costco, and Walmart are only 2 miles away.

This beautiful lake home is remodeled and has a walkout lower level opening up to a flat yard overlooking the lake. The master bedroom has a king size bed. Bedroom #2 has 1 queen bed, 1 twin bed. Bedroom #3 is downstairs with beautiful views of the lake on the walkout level and has a queen bed. Bedroom #4 is downstairs with a queen bed and twin bed.

Sleeps 8 comfortably, sleeps up to 10 with the idea that children are a part of your group.

Amenities include: 4 flat-screen TVs (Cable TV in the living room & Roku TV for streaming channels in the master bedroom, basement, and basement bedroom), Wi-Fi internet, 3 full baths – 1 tub/shower and 1 shower upstairs, 1 shower downstairs, upper and lower level family rooms, dining table, dock, GAS grill, and bonfire pit.

2 kayaks, paddle boat, and outdoor toys are available for guests to use free of charge.

There is a campfire pit in the yard by the lake. Firewood is available for your convenience if you wish for a fee of $5 per day of use to cover the cost of the wood.

We highly encourage staying 3 nights or more to get a chance to enjoy the area amenities, but you can stay as few as 2 nights (Oct - May) or as few as 3 nights (June - August).

Rates are based on 6 guests. We charge a modest fee of $2 per guest per night above 6 guests that covers the additional linens, cleaning, and utilities that more guests require.

Come enjoy a true "Up North" cabin located on Red Sand Lake in BEAUTIFUL Brainerd MN. This cabin features a level elevation from the cabin to the lake. A patio along with picnic tables, chairs, fire pit, dock and other outdoor toys are provided. All you need to do is bring the smores and be ready to relax to the sounds of the Loons singing every night. The home has 2 bedrooms with queen sized beds, and the lower level has two queen beds and a twin, there is also a pull out couch upstairs. The porch has a double Futon and also a single Futon.
The cabin has a full kitchen with a dishwasher. There are many golf courses located within close proximity. If you are looking for a great family getaway, this cabin will not disappoint. The arrival and Departure are flexible ask Janett.

Both master bedrooms enjoy a beautiful lake view. Basement features a pool table, arcade game and theater room. Water toys abound with a giant swimming mat, 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, and more. You'll want to keep an eye out for the hawks, eagles, herons, cranes, foxes, deer and bear living on our private peninsula. Fully appointed kitchen and laundry on site, with a grilling deck and open fire cooking options as well. Newly-remodeled master bathroom features a soak tub. This is the ideal set up for large groups or families looking for a lake getaway!

Outside there was a nice beach area for the kids to play in the sand with sand toys that were provided, along with a nice swing set for the kids to play on. We werent able to swim due to the weeds in the lake, but we did find a public beach about 12 minutes away that was really nice for the kids to swim at. We werent far from safari wilderness zoo, which was a hit with the whole family. TJ was great to work with, and answered all our questions."

We spent a lot of time in the spacious living room with the lake view and the back patio, and we took the short drive into Baxter several times! The only complaint is that there were not nearly enough chairs for our group, making meal times more complicated. Welcome to our little slice of heaven! A cabin tucked away in the trees, situated in Baxter right on beautiful lake Whipple! With its breathtaking views of the lake and all the amenities you could want, you'll never want to leave! Being in the perfect location just minutes from pristine golf courses, shopping, and many great restaurants your whole group is sure to enjoy. This very spacious four bedroom, two bath house is approximately 2700 sqft. and accommodates 12 comfortably.

Relax in either of the two porches or outside deck that all overlook the lake, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or watching the sunset. The large flat backyard and sandy beach is perfect for playing games and taking in some sunshine during the day. The views are truly breathtaking, and you'll feel like you're in your own private paradise. Fish right off the dock or bring your boat to explore the lake. Take a walk around the quiet neighborhood which leads to a trail around the lake. Finish off the day with a nighttime bonfire using the outdoor fire pit available. We don’t have life jackets, so please bring your own!

In the winter, walk out onto the ice to fish, snowshoe, or skate! Lake Whipple is also directly on the snowmobile trail which makes it easy to hop on from the back yard.

Inside you'll find four spacious bedrooms, each with comfortable beds and plenty of closet space. The two bathrooms are clean and modern, with all the amenities you need to feel at home. Play ping pong downstairs and use the wet bar to make all your favorite mocktails/cocktails! The living room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of seating for everyone to gather around and enjoy each other's company. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals, and there's plenty of seating for everyone.

Misc. outside amenities included: dock (can tie your boat up to), grill, corn hole, firepit, marshmallow roasting sticks, outdoor chairs, and sand toys.

Welcome to White Sand Lake Retreat, our favorite escape in Northern Minnesota. Located on a clear, quiet lake this 4-bedroom, family-friendly cabin sits on flat lot with over 100 feet of sandy beachfront.

Nestled in the heart of Lake Country just a 2-hour drive from the Twin Cities, you'll be minutes from the best that the Brainerd Lakes area has to offer, while still feeling away from it all.

Spend the day swimming, boating or fishing right off the dock, or hit up nearby restaurants, golfing, shopping and bike trails before enjoying sunsets from the deck and s’mores around the firepit.

Winter also offers plenty of activity options from ice fishing to ice skating with skiing/tubing options just a short drive away.

SPACE
Our lakefront cabin features nearly 3,000 sq ft of space and sleeps up to 14 ppl, making it perfect for multiple families. Three bedrooms feature queen-sized beds and the fourth bedroom has two twin bunkbeds with twin trundles, offering sleeping for 6. The basement living room also features a full-sized sofa bed and we offer a twin rollaway bed and pack-n-play as additional sleeping options.

There are two main living areas, both equipped with plenty of seating and TVs with access to all of your streaming services. The basement area has a large bar with dart board, wine fridge and foosball table. There also is a large poker table available for use in storage.

The large indoor dining table accommodates up to 10 ppl and opens out to the deck with seating for 6, but more chairs can be added.

Off of the front lawn, we have a private, detached lakefront porch that we adoringly call the “lady lair.” This is the perfect spot for late night games after the kids go to sleep or for relaxing in after a day full of swimming and fun.

AMENITIES
This home includes a fully equipped kitchen with double-oven, microwave and dishwasher and numerous appliances such as a griddle for big family breakfasts and blender. We also have a grill outside.

All bedrooms are equipped with blackout shades, extra linens and dual-purpose sound machine/night lights. There is also a full washer/dryer on-site.

We have a large firepit outdoors available for guest use. We do not supply firewood, but it can be easily purchased at surrounding gas stations.

There is also a kayak, two paddle boards, lake floats and numerous beach toys and yard games available for guests to use, free of charge. We also supply plenty of beach towels.

For those with small children, there also is a pack-n-play and highchair available.

LOCATION
Located in Baxter, MN - a short 2-hour drive from the Twin Cities - our cabin is minutes from restaurants, shops, golfing and other activities.
Conveniently located 6 minutes from Costco, Target, Walmart, Cub Foods, meat and seafood shops, and numerous other stores, restaurants, pharmacies and liquor stores – you can stock up on everything you need for your stay when you arrive.

Enjoy the golf courses and spa amenities at nearby resorts including Madden's, Craguns and Grandview, or shopping, restaurants and breweries in Nisswa, all under a 20-minute drive.

You can also find plenty of family-friendly activities including bowling, mini-golf and go carts within 15 minutes of the cabin. We’re also 5 miles from the Paul Bunyan bike trails.

In the winter, White Sand Lake is also a popular ice fishing destination and we’re a short 15- minute drive from Mount Ski Gull for skiing, snowboarding or tubing options.

Additionally, please be aware that our home is a split level. If anyone in your party has difficulties with stairs, this may not be a good fit.

- If anything in the cabin appears to be out of order or broken, please contact us as soon as possible and we’ll happily resolve.

Our charming lake house is situated on beautiful White Sand Lake and is perfect for either one or two families to share. We are located in a neighborhood setting in the heart of town. The tree-covered property has 100 feet of shoreline, a dock and a boat lift. This is one of few lakes located in within the city limits of Baxter and has GREAT FISHING. This means you are only minutes away from restaurants and shopping while enjoying the quiet of a private lake. If you are looking to avoid the crowds and enjoy a family get-away that is quiet, fun, and private-- this is it! As our neighbors are close by, you may want to look elsewhere if you are hoping to have a large-get-together as parties are strictly not allowed. However there is a pavilion with BBQ pits and picnic tables on a HUGE sandy beach at Whipple lake just up the street for even more recreational fun!

MAIN LEVEL
A welcoming foyer and a functional mudroom greet all who enter, but the views of Red Sand Lake and the large property steal the show. Everyone seems to gather in the kitchen, and you will love the hub of our home. This kitchen can handle everything a big-group can throw its way. The adjoining upper level living room offers a sunny space with fireplace and 55" television, there is plenty of space for everyone. An office space off the kitchen offers a quiet space if work needs to be done and doubles as bedroom if needed. There is also a large main level master bedroom with access to the shared bathroom and large walk-in closet. Step outside to fire-up the Blackstone or just enjoy a beautiful up-North sunset. The full-bath rounds-out the layout of the main level.

LAKE LEVEL
This is where the fun is! Our convenient lake-level home lets you stay close to all the action of the lake. Facing the lake are three (3) bedrooms - 1 queen, 1 queen + bunk beds, 2 twin beds. Cards, dice, board games, and a 65" television are available in the lower level living space for those late summer night gatherings. The full bathroom is the perfect place for a quick shower after a fun day in the sun. Throw your suits and towels in the laundry room right next door and enjoy the evening.

OUTDOORS
Feel free to take out our paddle board or kayaks and explore the lake. Plenty of parking is available in the driveway for cars or trailers with toys. The gentle elevation of the lake-side of the property makes it easy to get back-and-forth from the dock to the house when necessity strikes. Our little sand beach and gently-sloping, sand bottom swimming area is perfect for all ages. Ample dock space is available to tie-up your boat or other water toys. A rock fire-pit with Adirondack chairs is the quintessential way to end those long summer nights.

100' lake shore with long, private dock. Red Sand Lake is 521 acres with a max depth of 25 feet. Most of the lake is around 10 feet or less. Public boat launch is less than 10 minutes from the property.

Crow Wing County quiet hours are 10 PM- 7 AM Sunday through Thursday and 12 AM - 7 AM on Friday and Saturday. Please respect this county ordinance and respect our neighbors.

- "Beautiful home, well equipped kitchen, perfect trees to hang our hammock annd fun zip line between trees for the little kids. The owner was extremely responsive through VRBO messages when we had questions. Great fire ring, sandy area for kids play. Shallow, clear water and sand bottom along the dock had small shells accumulated so not ideal for swimming. Beyond the dock lots of weeds and mucky bottom. Loved the standup paddle boards. We drove over to Whipple Beach, only a 5 minute drive, where there’s great swimming, large sandy beach, picnic tables playground and nice restrooms. Nice Blackstone gas grill with griddle top. Nice to have swimming towels provided."
