This Short Term Rental Agreement for woodland resort (hereinafter: the “Agreement”) is entered into and made
effective between the Property Owner/Operator (“Owner”) and the
Guest (together - the “Parties”). Terms not specified in this Agreement shall be in accordance
with the House rules or the Reservation policies.
The parties agree as follows:
Accommodation Terms
1. The Guest agrees to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by local laws.
2. The Guest shall behave in a respectful manner and shall be good neighbors respecting the rights of the surrounding property owners. Creating a disturbance of the above
nature shall be grounds for immediate termination of this agreement.
3. The Guest commits not to use the property for any illegal or commercial purpose, including but not limited to sub-lease the property or otherwise allowing anyone or more
people to stay above the maximum permitted or if not previously agreed with the Owner.
4. The Guest is responsible for any breakage or damage costs (or related costs) in or to the property - along with any extra costs that may result - which are caused by the Guest or any members of the Guest’s party.
5. The Owner can refuse to allow the Guest into the property or ask the Guest to leave if they reasonably believe the Guest or any member of the Guest’s party (or any other
person invited by the Guest to the property) are behaving illegally or that any damage is
likely to be caused, has been caused or is being caused as a result of the Guest
behavior or any members the Guest has invited to the property and without providing a refund of any payment the Guest has paid for the booking and the Owner will not be
legally responsible to find any alternative accommodation.
6. Parking is limited to designated parking areas only just in front of cabin.
7. The Guest must not hold events (such as parties, celebrations or meetings) at the property without the advance written consent of the Owner. Any of these cases will allow
the Owner to terminate the Agreement without providing a refund of any payment the
Guest has paid for the booking and the Owner will not be legally responsible to find any alternative accommodation.
8. The Guest must allow the Owner or their representative (including workmen), with
reasonable notice, access to the property at any reasonable time during your stay (except in an emergency or if a problem needs sorting out quickly and you cannot be contacted in time. In these situations, the owner can enter the property at any time without giving you prior notice).The Guest is obliged not to make any changes in the rented property without prior receipt of agreement from the Owner in writing.
10. By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, as acknowledged:
Guest waives, discharges and agrees to hold harmless Owner from all damages or
injuries arising from or related to the Guest stay at Property, including without limitation,
any accidents or injury to the Guest, Guest’s visitors and associates, and loss of valuables of any kind. The Guest is responsible for keeping his valuables safe
at all times.
Additional Policies such as Rates and Fees, Check-In/Out Time, Cancellations, Minimum

The fridge is small as advertised, so we just kept drinks in a cooler outside. Not a problem at all, especially if you had a shorter stay. I really enjoyed sitting in the shade, reading my book while the kids swam. My brother rented the cabin next door, making it a fabulous family week. I highly recommend it!"

The view of the lake is nice, if it were mine I would cut a couple of trees so you could see more lake. Communication with the owner was A+, Jared responds promptly. Might not be for everyone because of the setback from the lake, but it was perfect for us."

Many cute cabins at Woodland Resort! This is cabin 2, ALL have lake access to Pokegama Lake! Great view, fire pit, hammock, porch, fully furnished, nice kitchen, grill, picnic tables, just minutes to town, walking distance to Zorbaz and The Pickled Loon Saloon. There is a boat house with life jackets, electric and a fridge/freezer, tubes and a dock to use as well! There are RV hook ups, and a lot of flat land to host fun yard games! Come see for yourself what brings guests back year after year!
The space
You can use the entire cabin, a fire pit, picnic tables and the lake & boathouse which has electric! There are kayaks and other rentals such as boats and jet skis available in the directory/manual of each cabin with lots of other very valuable info to help you make the most of your vacation!!! Light pollution was minimal at a nearby park (6 miles away) which allowed us to view the Milky Way without technology. On a clear night from the back yard we captured excellent photos of the moon with our telescope. Sunsets from the dock were amazing.On a day trip to Bemidji we saw a bald eagle and many deer. In the back yard / lake we saw many duck families, rabbits, otter’s, loons, water snakes and caught 6 different varieties of fish. The weather in July is excellent, no air conditioning required. The house is spacious, open with tons of electrical outlets, usb connections, several tvs and fans. Well cared for and attention paid to the details liked bath towels, bedding, pillows, mattresses, chairs, couch, etc. Everything was clean, comfortable and a lot of incidentals were provided….ie…q-tips, Kleenex,toilet paper, dishwasher soap, hand soap, laundry detergent, garbage bags and plenty of dishes/ utensils.Two kayaks as well as a paddle boat with 4 life vests were provided.The locals were very amicable. One neighbor even rented us his 16 foot fishing boat for a day as all the rental companies were booked. The town (Grand Rapids) has a Walmart, Target, lots of local restaurants, several grocery stores, multiple liquor stores, outdoor stores and a well stocked hardware store within a 10 minute drive.Multiple nearby bike trails provide excellent biking adventures.Overall the property is excellent, the people are friendly, the environment beautiful."

Four wooded acres of secluded family-friendly cabin life on the pristine Wabana Chain of Lakes. Two bedrooms/two bathrooms with sleeping for six in the main cabin. Seasonal bunkhouse sleeps an additional six. Moderate elevation down to 300ft of lakeshore on peaceful, quiet and clear Little Trout Lake. Fishing and swimming off of the dock. Boaters and paddlers have access to the 4400 acre Wabana Chain of Lakes. (Tandem kayak , Canoe, and Paddleboard provided.) Nature lovers have access to miles of hiking/biking/running trails. Trailhead to Trout Lake SNA/historic Joyce Estate is 1 mile from cabin.

Built in 1972, the cabin sits on a small clearing at the top of a ridge overlooking Little Trout Lake. It has two bedrooms (both with queen beds) and a sofa sleeper and futon in the living room. All linens, kitchen and bath towels are provided. (Bring your own beach towels.) The cabin has two bathrooms, a full bath on the main level and a three-quarters located in the unfinished basement. There is Wifi at the cabin, cell phone signals are picked up, and there is a small TV for watching movies. The main cabin has central air-conditioning while the bunkhouse has a portable air conditioning unit.

The rolling, wooded property is located on Little Trout Lake, the smallest among the Wabana Chain of Lakes. The chain is known for its crystal-clear spring fed waters, fishing and water sports. Over half of the chain is located in the Chippewa National Forest and remains undeveloped. The cabin is between Wabana and Trout Lakes, offering seclusion with the ease of boating via channels to the larger lakes, including Bluewater. The property is available to rent the last week in May through the first week in September.

Cabin #6. One of many cute, cozy cabins at Woodland Resort, on Pokegama Lake. ALL cabins have lake access, great views, the BEST location just minutes to town, walking distance to Zorbaz and The Pickled Loon Saloon. The space
You can use the entire cabin, a fire pit, picnic tables and the lake & boathouse which has electric! There are kayaks and other rentals such as boats and jet skis available in the directory/manual of each cabin with lots of other very valuable info to help you make the most of your vacation!!! It’s right off 169 easy to find, on woodland park rd. It says # 6 on the outside of cabin. Guests enter with key from lockbox. Full access to rented cabin, and yard, full access to dock, boathouse and lake! Cameras up outside for our safety and yours! This Short Term Rental Agreement for woodland resort (hereinafter: the “Agreement”) is entered into and made
effective between the Property Owner/Operator (“Owner”) and the
Guest (together - the “Parties”). Terms not specified in this Agreement shall be in accordance
with the House rules or the Reservation policies.
The parties agree as follows:
Accommodation Terms
1. The Guest agrees to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by local laws.
2. The Guest shall behave in a respectful manner and shall be good neighbors respecting the rights of the surrounding property owners. Creating a disturbance of the above
nature shall be grounds for immediate termination of this agreement.
3. The Guest commits not to use the property for any illegal or commercial purpose, including but not limited to sub-lease the property or otherwise allowing anyone or more
people to stay above the maximum permitted or if not previously agreed with the Owner.
4. The Guest is responsible for any breakage or damage costs (or related costs) in or to the property - along with any extra costs that may result - which are caused by the Guest or any members of the Guest’s party.
5. The Owner can refuse to allow the Guest into the property or ask the Guest to leave if they reasonably believe the Guest or any member of the Guest’s party (or any other
person invited by the Guest to the property) are behaving illegally or that any damage is
likely to be caused, has been caused or is being caused as a result of the Guest
behavior or any members the Guest has invited to the property and without providing a refund of any payment the Guest has paid for the booking and the Owner will not be
legally responsible to find any alternative accommodation.
6. Parking is limited to designated parking areas only just in front of cabin.
7. The Guest must not hold events (such as parties, celebrations or meetings) at the property without the advance written consent of the Owner. Any of these cases will allow
the Owner to terminate the Agreement without providing a refund of any payment the
Guest has paid for the booking and the Owner will not be legally responsible to find any alternative accommodation.
8. The Guest must allow the Owner or their representative (including workmen), with
reasonable notice, access to the property at any reasonable time during your stay (except in an emergency or if a problem needs sorting out quickly and you cannot be contacted in time. In these situations, the owner can enter the property at any time without giving you prior notice).The Guest is obliged not to make any changes in the rented property without prior receipt of agreement from the Owner in writing.
10. By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, as acknowledged:
Guest waives, discharges and agrees to hold harmless Owner from all damages or
injuries arising from or related to the Guest stay at Property, including without limitation,
any accidents or injury to the Guest, Guest’s visitors and associates, and loss of valuables of any kind. The Guest is responsible for keeping his valuables safe
at all times.

- "My wife and I really enjoyed our midweek stay at this quiet resort. Great location tucked in the woods along the lake. We are My Boat Club members and could walk to the Pickled Loon to pick up boats on the daily. The cabin’s docks were large enough to accommodate parking our boats for the day. The beach area housed many kayaks, a paddle board and canoe to use if you wish. Owners were quick to respond with any needs. Brie was on-site to assist with any requests.
