- "I was super happy with the whole experience at this cabin. Clean, new, and close to everything we wanted to do: hike, visit waterfalls and Lake Superior, go to the Ice Festival, and Eben Ice Caves. These being seperate units, they were super quiet. We didn't hear our neighbors at all. The windows let in the natural beauty right outside the door, and has ample windows for natural light. I read someone comment they thought the mattress was thin, i didn't find that to be true. They may have updated them, but the master bed had a thick memory foam mattress. Had a great time, and definitely will stay again. "

Our cabins are located just 5 miles northeast of Munising in the Hiawatha National Forest, and at the edge of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Surrounded by Northern Michigan forest it makes for a great Northern Get-A-Way.

Hiking, ORV, and snowmobile trails can be accessed directly from this property.

Miner's Castle, Miner's Falls, and Miner's Beach along with Pictured Rocks Lakeshore and North Country Trail are all just a couple miles away.

- "My husband and I stayed at this cabin for three nights while visiting Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. The convenience of being within literal minutes from some of the local attractions at the park can't be beat. And the woods surrounding the cabin are incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The cabin itself was perfect for us. There was plenty of room to stretch out after a long day of hiking, with a great kitchen for meal prep and laundry facilities for our dirty clothes. What a wonderful place to unwind! "

The Getaway is a newer remodeled cabin with 2 bedrooms (Master bedroom has a king size bed - 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds), and 1 bath (shower) located in the cozy village of Christmas located just a few miles west of Munising.

The Getaway Cabin has a flat screen TV with service provided by Jamadots internet/WIFI, tv channels. There is a DVD player with assorted movies for guests to enjoy. Assorted games, books and puzzles are available as well. The decor theme features pictures and maps of Munising & Lake Superior representing the interesting history of the area.

The full size kitchen has all new appliances and is fully equipped with all the eating utensils and cookware. There is a big backyard with a picnic table, a gas grill for all of your outdoor cooking, and a fire pit for your evening camp fires (4 campfire chairs provided). The neighborhood access to Lake Superior is approximately 350'. You can launch your own kayak from the beach. The ATV trailhead is located across the road behind the Casino.

This cabin is called the Sno Shed.
All four seasons there is something to do! You can ski, snowmobile, ride your ATV's or side by sides along the many groomed trails. Plenty of sites to see like Picture Rocks, Glass Bottom Boat Tours and good places to eat. The cabin has two bedrooms, bathroom, living room and furnished kitchen. I provide the linens for the beds and towels for the bathroom. Non smoking. We have Direct TV & wireless internet. Each cabin accommodates 6 people comfortably. All of the beds have been updated with memory foam mattresses. There is a newer high top kitchen table as well.
The only thing you might need is your preference in lawn furniture if you want to enjoy sitting outside. You will need to provide your own firewood for the firepit. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING INSIDE THE CABINS. Thanking you in advance.

- "Clean, cuter in person, large yard space for kids and dogs, great fire pit and seating outside, about 20-ish minutes from town, sits on dirt road that you get to on dirt road (which didn't bother us but wasn't aware of beforehand). We have a 2 - bedroom and 1 - bath cedar log cabin vacation rental situated on 8 - acres adjacent to national forest. We have A/C, WI-FI, grill, and campfire. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed. The upstairs has 2 - full beds. Property has outside cameras for security.
Kitchen utensils, cookware, linens, and bathroom essentials are all provided. You will have to bring your own toiletries such as toilet paper, shampoo, and other items. We do stock toilet paper, but not for extended stays. There is a coffee maker that also has pod capability. We have a fire pit, gas, and charcoal grills outside.

We are 2-miles south of Lakeshore Trail, Miner's Castle, Pictured Rocks, and Miner's Beach. Pictured Rocks Golf Course is 2 - miles west and the town of Munising is 5 - miles south-west. Snowmobile and ATV trail is 1/2 - mile east.

This is our 2nd vacation rental that just started May 2023. We have received many compliments on how comfortable, isolated, quiet, and yet close to all Munising has to offer.

We have offered our vacation home on adjacent property east for over 16 - years and are excited to provide this log cabin.

It is very clean and a nice secluded location while also having easy access to town and trails (anywhere in 10-25 min). It is VERY open concept w one bedroom being an open loft and the other bedroom on the main floor being fully open to the kitchen. Our only suggestion would be putting a sliding barn door to add a little privacy between kitchen and bedroom. We made the open concept work but it could be awkward for others. - "This cottage exceeded our expectations! It was clean and cozy (lots of extra blankets for the cool nights). Beds were comfy and the living room was perfect for a family movie night while it rained. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed—highly recommend making blueberry pancakes with fresh-picked wild blueberries from out front of the property! The lake is so quiet and serene…we were the only ones out kayaking and boating most days/nights! Our 7 year old loved using the kayaks and paddle boat. The little storage house with extra life jackets was a nice surprise. We brought our own, but having spares while ours dried was nice. The location was perfect! Quick 15 minute drive to Munising and less than hour to most other waterfalls, beaches and awesome sights. Thank you for sharing your cozy cabin in the woods with our family of four. This cottage on the lake is an all sports lake setting just 10 miles southwest of Munising. Close to the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore yet away from all the hustle and bustle. Enjoy quiet nights at the campfire stargazing and fun in the sun on the lake whether it's swimming, fishing or kayaking. There is 3 Queen beds, the 3rd bedroom is a pass-through bedroom. Home features a firepit, dock, propane grill and water toys (paddle boat, paddle board and kayaks) available for guest use. Toys are shared with owners next door. Pictured Rocks Family Rentals welcomes you to Rudolph's Cabin! This recently remodeled home offers 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king log bed and private master bath with tub/shower and a double sink. The second bedroom can either be 2 separate twin XL beds or we can make it into a king bed for you. We recently added a hot tub to the red outbuilding behind the home so it can be enjoyed in all seasons! We are conveniently located right on M28 about 1/4 mi west of Foggy's Steakhouse.

Our home was recently gutted down to the studs and completely remodeled. We opened up the living room/kitchen area and added a bathroom and brought the washer and dryer up to the main level. There’s a brand new 65” Roku TV in the living room and we have fiber optic wireless internet. We also added a tankless hot water heater so everybody gets a hot shower! We supply a crock pot, blender, drip coffee maker, and all the necessities to cook a meal at home. There’s a nice, large foyer with a bench and a shelf with hooks with plenty of room to store all your coats, bibs, helmets, boots, etc. You can ride right from the home to miles and miles of groomed snowmobile trails in the winter or ORV trails in the summer. There's plenty of room to park trucks and trailers for bringing your toys up. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore begins in Munising, which is only about 5 miles east of the home.

Moonlight Ridge is the perfect getaway! Secluded and quiet but still close to Munising and the Pictured Rocks area. The lakeview is amazing! There is a small dock and steps to get in and out of the water easy. There is 1 canoe and 4 kayaks for guest use. There is life jackets located in the tin can near the water. This cabin sleeps 4 with a Queen bed in each bedroom. There is a full bathroom with a standing shower, the washer and dryer are also located in the bathroom. The living space offers a pullout sofa, TV, DVD player with a small selection of movies and family games. PLEASE BE AWARE: All rooms in this cabin have open ceilings which limits privacy.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need during your stay. Pots and pans, cooking dishes, Tupperware, a griddle, blender, regular Mr. Coffee pot and children's dishes. The dining area seats enough for the whole family and there is one child booster seat.

Spend your time out on the deck relaxing or playing games. The yard space is perfect for children to run around or to play a game of cornhole. Camp Take 5 is perfect for a small group, surrounded by the Hiawatha National Forest on a private drive. Perfect for snowmobile/ATV Riders looking to be out of town and close to the trails! Easy access to Trail 7 which is right off of Doe Lake Road, roughly 3-4 miles from the cabin. Plenty of parking for trailers. The Buckhorn Restaurant is roughly 7.9 miles from the cabin, GREAT FOOD! If you are looking to get away from it all and enjoy the sounds of nature & peace and quiet, this cabin is for you. If you want to explore Munising and the Pictured Rocks shoreline and all that it has to offer, it's only 15 miles from this cabin. The cabin sleeps 6 with 2 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a Queen bed. Near Munising and close to Pictured Rocks, Lake Superior, Casino and More! Located 2 blocks from M28 and the Casino in Christmas MI. Public beach is within a mile and Pictured Rocks is only a 10 minute drive!! There are two bedrooms (both Queen beds) and two full bathrooms. The couch does fold out for additional sleeping. One bathroom is a nice full sized master bath, and the other bathroom is small, it has a bathtub/shower, toilet and sink that is clean and functional, but small.

The Cottage is located 2 blocks from M28 and the Casino in Christmas MI. Public beach is within a mile and Pictured Rocks is only a 10 minute drive. There are two bedrooms (both Queen beds) and two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is small, its clean and functional, but small. During the spring the cabin may have a musty smell because of being closed during all winter months! (Winter in The UP can sometimes go all the way to third week of may!) The Living room is spacious and has a wood burning fireplace available. The kitchen is fully stocked as any normal home would be, including pots and pans, plates, utensils etc.... It includes everything one would need to cook for 6 people. There is also a gas grill included outside. All linens are included, (sheets, pillows, blankets, towels) Paper towels and toilet paper.The home has a furnace and air conditioning to keep you comfortable. Easy access to everything in our area. Cabin is perfect for guests looking to have a home base centrally located to all our area has to offer. Wifi and Cable is provided. ATV riders will appreciate the close proximity to the trail and gas station as well as the casino. For those looking to hike, bike and kayak, the trails and waterfalls are within 20 minutes and the Lake is just blocks away. Pictured Rocks Cruise is 10 minutes away.

House is secluded in woods 15 minutes from Munising/Pictured Rocks Nat.Lakeshore. Snowmobile ride 2 1/2 miles from house to ungroomed trail that turns into trail 7/8. It sleeps 7 & includes 1 bedroom with king bed, 1 bedroom with twin over queen bunk, & full pull-out couch in living room. One bathroom w/ shower stocked w towels. Washer & dryer in laundry area w/ hooks for hanging gear, etc. No cell phone service at the house, but good imternet & Smart TV in living room. NO pets or smoking!

The space
The kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and a full size stove/oven. It is stocked with a set of dishes with 8 place settings, silverware, coffee cups, drinking glasses, pots and pans, a baking sheet, and various cooking utensils. Paper towels, coffee filters, and Kleenex are stacked in the kitchen as well. There is a small dining room with a table and four chairs, and the kitchen island has an eating area and three barstools for seating, so seven people could be seated for eating at the same time.

Peace and serenity await at this owner-built cabin nestled in the middle of the U.P. of Northern Michigan. Located 20 minutes south of Munising, the cabin offers the unique opportunity to remain close to many of the U.P.'s greatest locations and disappear into the majestic woodland landscape. From ATV trail riding, hiking local trails, or a relaxing day of fishing, the cabin's location offers a great deal of access to all the fun activities the great outdoors has to offer.

The space
Situated on a private lake our split level cabin consists of around 800 square feet of living space. Located on the top floor, the living area and kitchen open up to a large screened-in porch to view the surrounding scenery. The cabin consists of 3 bedrooms, 1 indoor bathroom and 1 outdoor flushable outhouse. A screened-in gazebo fire pit is situated closer to the lake offering a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors and company no matter the elements.

Everybody needs a little 'Time Out' once in a while. This hand crafted cedar log cabin has been our time out and we would like to share it with you. This is a family log cabin, built together from logs off of the property. It has 3 bedrooms and 1-1/2 baths and a large loft area; kitchen and living room surrounded by a wrap around covered porch. The interior is knotty pine with oak flooring and carpeted bedrooms. The cabin is heated by a gas fireplace. Wireless internet and satellite TV is included for your entertainment. There is a land line phone for local calls and limited cell phone service if you stand in the right spot. The cabin sleeps 10 guests max. Sit on the porch and enjoy the quite, or within a short drive find excellent fishing, hunting, waterfalls, and site seeing. Located in the heart of the Hiawatha national forest provides miles of forest service roads to cruise in your ATV's. There is a fire pit with benches and horse shoe stakes. There are toys for the Kids and a VCR movie collection.

Heads up about amenities: Airbnb sometimes groups certain items together under a single amenity (like “pots, pans, oil, salt & pepper”), but please note that we may not provide everything listed in that bundle. For example, we do supply pots and pans, but not cooking oil, and only a small selection of basic spices. If you have specific needs, feel free to check with us before your stay. Our local grocery store carries a selection of spices and other items if you run out during your stay.

Beautiful 4 bedroom cabin located minutes from downtown Munising and at the doorstep to Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore. The cabin is located on a quiet, paved, tree-lined street nestled on 6 serene acres of hardwood forest. We are a short drive to M13 and all of the recreational inland lakes that the area has to offer. Head the other direction and you are a short 15 min drive to Miners Castle/Miners Beach which can be a fantastic launching point to your UP adventure!

The space
The cabin has an open layout with the living room open to the kitchen and dining. The main living area feels open and bright with the expansive lofted wood ceilings. There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor. The master bedroom features a king bed (Awara Organic Mattress) and has access to the main floor bathroom. This bathroom is the main bathroom for the first floor and has access from the main hallway as well. The main floor bathroom features tub/shower combination. The second bedroom features a queen bed (Organic Avocado Mattress). The 2 main floor bedrooms have an access door between them which can be a great feature for families with kids but can also be closed off for privacy if desired.

Upstairs you will find a beautiful living area in the loft open to the main floor. This is a perfect space for enjoying a coffee or glass of wine and conversation or games while enjoying the views of the hardwood forest. There is also a desk in this space if you need to get some work done during your stay.

There are 2 more bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom off of the hallway with a stand up shower. 1 bedroom features a queen bed (Sealy Posturpedic Mattress) and the other a full bed (Organic Avocado Mattress).

You will also find a 3rd living area in the finished basement. This is furnished with a couch and recliner along with a smart tv and an xbox with games. The unfinished portion includes a washer/dryer for your use during your stay.

The backyard has an expansive elevated deck with a dining table with enough seating for 6 guests plus a lounge seating area. There is also a gas grill for your use. There is a fire pit in the back yard with plenty of seating. This is all set in a quiet and serene setting surrounded by hardwood forest.

The cabin is also equipped with wifi enabled tv's in the main living area, basement living area and all bedrooms.

As a previous guest said, “location, location, location” is what Sunrise Beach is all about! The cabin is on the Sandy beach! Walk out the back door onto the sugar sand beach.

The space

The log home itself is 2,000 square feet, cathedral ceiling; spacious living/kitchen/dining area; large flat screen TV with satellite. Two bedrooms have a king size bed each with premium sheets and comforters; side table with lamps; The master bath has a jetted tub; you can view Lake Superior from your rooms! The bunkroom is great for kids; twin size log beds, bedding included. Wireless internet access allows you to be on vacation, yet check in to make sure everything is running smoothly with other family or work. The full kitchen has all the comforts of cooking at home and plenty of seating at the dining table and island counter. Hardwood Hickory floors in the living area and carpet in the bedrooms.
The paved driveway is great for the kids to bring along their skate boards, rip sticks or bikes and a 3 car detached garage for parking. This beautiful log beach house on 10 acres is a perfect family getaway year round. Pets are welcome! Rent a boat nearby.

Pictured Rocks Family Rentals welcomes you to Rudolph's Cabin! This recently remodeled home offers 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king log bed and private master bath with tub/shower and a double sink. The second bedroom can either be 2 separate twin XL beds or we can make it into a king bed for you. We have added a hot tub to the red outbuilding behind the home so it can be enjoyed all seasons! We are conveniently located right on M28 about 1/4 mi west of Foggys Steakhouse

The space
Our home was recently gutted down to the studs and completely remodeled. We opened up the living room/kitchen area and added a bathroom and brought the washer and dryer up to the main level. There’s a brand new 65” Roku TV in the living room and we have fiber optic wireless internet. We also added a tankless hot water heater so everybody gets a hot shower! We supply a crock pot, blender, drip coffee maker, and all the necessities to cook a meal at home. There’s a nice, large foyer with a bench and a shelf with hooks with plenty of room to store all your coats, bibs, helmets, boots, etc. You can ride right from the home to miles and miles of groomed snowmobile trails in the winter or ORV trails in the summer. There's plenty of room to park trucks and trailers for bringing your toys up. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore begins in Munising, which is only about 5 miles east of our home.

-Up to 2 dogs are allowed with pre-approval and a $75 non-refundable pet fee. Please pick up after your dog(s), we do provide a pooper scooper
-Separate rental agreement including adding government issued ID of booker and security deposit hold required for all reservations
-There are 2 exterior motion activated audio/video recording devices on 24/7 at the home. One records the side entry door and one faces the front door
