- "This place was marvelous. We stayed in the Miners Castle Suite and it was perfect for what we wanted. We love the two separate living room areas with the outdoor patio. A home away from home feel. We were lucky that no one else booked the other room so we had all the space all to ourselves. Our favorite part was sitting in front of the window in the living room just watching the sunset. The whole place was clean and very cozy. Joanne, whom lives on the property, was such a joy to talk to. She was very informative about the area with lots of suggestions of restaurants and places to visit. She made us feel at home. It is just a short drive to downtown Munising and the Pictured Rocks. Clean, new, and close to everything we wanted to do: hike, visit waterfalls and Lake Superior, go to the Ice Festival, and Eben Ice Caves. These being seperate units, they were super quiet. We didn't hear our neighbors at all. The windows let in the natural beauty right outside the door, and has ample windows for natural light. I read someone comment they thought the mattress was thin, i didn't find that to be true. They may have updated them, but the master bed had a thick memory foam mattress. They had a large cooler of ice in the office which had run out on the morning we were leaving. We wanted to fill up our cooler so they directed us to another property they owned a block or so away and we got plenty of ice there. I felt they were very sensitive toward anything we needed."

The Getaway is a newer remodeled cabin with 2 bedrooms (Master bedroom has a king size bed - 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds), and 1 bath (shower) located in the cozy village of Christmas located just a few miles west of Munising.

The Getaway Cabin has a flat screen TV with service provided by Jamadots internet/WIFI, tv channels. There is a DVD player with assorted movies for guests to enjoy. Assorted games, books and puzzles are available as well. The decor theme features pictures and maps of Munising & Lake Superior representing the interesting history of the area.

The full size kitchen has all new appliances and is fully equipped with all the eating utensils and cookware. There is a big backyard with a picnic table, a gas grill for all of your outdoor cooking, and a fire pit for your evening camp fires (4 campfire chairs provided). The neighborhood access to Lake Superior is approximately 350'. You can launch your own kayak from the beach. The ATV trailhead is located across the road behind the Casino.

Downtown Cottage/Harbor Cottage - This charming town cottage provides a bright, one-floor, Air Conditioned, accommodation. Two guest bedrooms with luxurious beds and bedding to assure a good nights sleep! One double size and one day bed with pull out trundle, will sleep up to 4 guests comfortably. Fully equipped kitchen with a Lake Superior view, dish washer, beautiful dinner ware, dining area, a cozy living room with comfortable furnishings. Walk to Bayshore Park and enjoy the beach and water, watch the boats, shop the farmer's market for fresh produce and baked breads for your meals or enjoy the pizza made to order by the local ladies, in the wood fired oven. The Falling Rock cafe is just a block away for fresh coffee, hand dipped ice cream, friendship, old books and local entertainment. Munising is full of local artists who display their talents all around town during the summer. Amenities include TV with streaming channels wifi internet service, gas grill, A/C

The cottage will be immaculately clean upon your arrival. The cottage has a 'Pottery Barn-like style, with its' tasteful furnishings and interior decorations, which makes it irresistably inviting.

We have limited parking here. We can park two vehicles max, no trailers or snowmobiles.

While the location was a 3 minute walk to town, the outdoor space still seemed private being set back from the road. The view out the kitchen window of the lake was a bonus. I honestly cannot say enough about this property. I even told my mom I could live here full-time."

Park your car and trailer while you stay because you will be in walking distance to Pictured Rocks Boat Tours and all of downtown Munising. Mountain biking trails are a short bike ride away. And the home is on the city snow mobile / ATV trail system. PS - The futon matress has been upgraded and beds are now Queen size for improved comfort in 2024.

The bedrooms are roomy and the huge full bath with washer and dryer were much appreciated. The backyard was great for our pup, and it was so convenient to not have to leash her every time she wanted to go out. The kitchen is well appointed with most things you would need for your stay. The photos hanging throughout the rental are beautiful. I was born and raised in Munising, and home for a visit, so we are very familiar with the area. While staying in Munising this time, we ate at Eh! Burger, Border Grill (twice), and Miner's Pasties, and got ice cream at Falling Rock Cafe and Pictured Rocks Trading Company (a little out of town on the way to Miner's Castle). We kayaked the Au Train River with kayak rentals from Northwoods Kayak Rentals. Highly recommend this- it was our favorite day! Go out to Au Train to see gorgeous sunsets, too! We had two teen boys with us, and they really enjoyed having everything so close that they could walk everywhere. One son spent quite a bit of time at the skate park (near Mustang Stadium on Varnum), and they walked to Bayshore Park, the Dairy Queen, and just throughout town. Parking is ample and easy for this rental. We will definitely stay at "The Brick" again if it is available next time we are up!"

Pictured Rocks Family Rentals welcomes you to Furnace Lake Overlook. Beautiful home with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths. Bedroom 1 has king bed and bunk beds with a sliding barn door separating them, while bedroom 2 has a queen bed. This home has a beautiful view overlooking Furnace Lake but does not have lake access. The home has a nice deck on back with a heated 4+' above ground pool that is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day (through Sept 15, 2025 this year). The master bath offers a cozy 2 person jetted tub to relax in after a long day on the trails with a separate glass block shower. There is not an outdoor hot tub at the home.

You'll love the serenity and the privacy of this home, yet how close you are to area attractions such as Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Grand Island, waterfalls, hiking trails, beaches, etc. You are less than a mile from state snowmobile and ATV trails. Up to 2 dogs are allowed with preapproval and $75 non-refundable pet fee.

You have full exclusive access to home, pool, garage and yard. There is no lake access with the home and there is no access to the pole barn on the property.

We are available by text if you should have any questions before or during your stay. During summer months, we will come over at your convenience to show you how the pool works. There is also a house manual in the home which has area attractions, restaurants, grocery stores, etc.

Home is walking distance to casino in Christmas, Foggy's Steakhouse and gas station. You are only about 5 miles from downtown Munising where there are Pictured Rocks Cruises, Glass Bottom Boat Tours, Sand Point Beach, waterfalls, etc. In Munising, there is 1 grocery store and numerous restaurants, listed in the house manual.

There is plenty of room to bring a boat if you have one and there is a public access to Lake Superior within 5 miles from home. There is also plenty of room to bring snowmobile/ATV trailers and then you can ride from the home to hit the trails. The attached 2 car garage is heated for our winter enthusiasts, and has patio furniture in it as well as Roku TV.

One night we grilled and had a lovely patio dinner. This whole visit was just what you’d want in a great vacation from before we even arrived to the time we checked out! Queen size bed in each bedroom and 1 Full size bed futon couch in the living room. Sleep up to 6max, 4 adults and 2 children 15& under. Please list the correct number of occupants when booking. Keyless entry so you never get locked out. This is a second floor apartment, very quiet. If you are looking for easy to find, good location, comfortable basics and cleanest in town this is the right spot for you.

This is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath vacation cottage with a beautiful view of Munising Bay and located right next door to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. It boasts a nice fire pit patio in the front yard to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. It sleeps 4 comfortably but can accommodate up to 6 (+$10 per night for 5th and 6th guest). Pictured Rocks Cottage provides you with Wi-Fi and internet streaming TV. All linens are provided for you along with kitchen essentials for when you catch that big king salmon across the street at the fishing pier. Come and enjoy the grandeur of the Pictured Rocks while staying at the Pictured Rocks Cottage. In the winter, hop on your snowmobile in the driveway and you can be on public trails in less than a mile. For hikers, the North Country Trail passes by the front door! And you are less than a mile from downtown Munising with plenty of food options and local breweries.

Please note that in the winter we do have someone that plows the driveway, but it will be up to the guests to keep the short path in front of the door clear. There are snow shovels available by the door. Sorry, no pets...

We are only 11 miles from the beautiful Picture Rock National Lakeshore in Munising Michigan. Thirteen miles from Au Train, a great place to canoe or kayak. Close to beaches in both Munising and Au Train. It's a nature lovers paradise!

Pictured Rocks Family Rentals welcomes you to Elf House! This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath home that offers 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 2 single beds (or another king bed), 1 bunk bed, 1 twin sofa sleeper and 1 futon. Home is conveniently located less than 5 miles from Munising, the beginning of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. It also is about 2 blocks from area ORV/snowmobile trailhead and walking distance to Christmas Casino, gas station, and Foggy's Steakhouse. Home offers a 1 car attached heated garage and large backyard.

Bedroom 1 with a king bed is on the main floor next to a bathroom. Bedroom 2 is in the basement with a queen bed and 2 twin XL beds (or can combined to make a king bed). Basement also has an additional family room with a set of bunk beds in it and a futon. Main level living room has a twin sofa sleeper available also. We added a massage chair in January 2023 in the main living room that can help soothe your aching body after riding or hiking all day! Both living rooms and the kitchen area have a TV with Roku and a complimentary Amazon subscription. There is not cable or local channels, but there is reliable fiberoptic internet service. There is a cozy electric fireplace in the basement family room added in January as well. Our home has 2 full bathrooms, both are on the main level, and an on demand tankless water heater, so everyone gets a hot shower :) We do allow up to 2 dogs, but there will be a $75 non-refundable pet charge, if approved. Please check if your furry friend is allowed. The backyard is not fenced in so dogs must be on a leash when taken outside. There is a scooper and baggies in garage to clean up after your pet. We do ask that you try to keep them off the furniture or put down some sheets which are provided in the closet near the front door.

Guests have access to the whole home other than a locked storage closet in basement, including the laundry facilities and garage.

We live nearby if you should need anything but will not come over unless asked to. If you have any questions or concerns, please message through the app or call me if an emergency.

The neighborhood is an area of homes that is quiet and private. The home is within walking distance to Foggy's Steakhouse, Kewadin Casino and gas station/party store. The local trailhead is less than 2 blocks from home so you can ride to them from the driveway. We like our neighbors and appreciate our guests being respectful of quiet times, especially when leaving early or arriving late, particularly if on snowmobiles/ATVs. Please also save the ripping on your machines for the trails and not on our quiet, residential street.

Pictured Rocks Family Rentals welcomes you to Santa's Shack Studio! One of 3 units available at same site. The Studio has a king bed and a twin bunk bed. Great location just off of M-28 behind the White Pine Lodge and less than 5 miles from Munising. It's close to Pictured Rocks, ORV trails, many waterfalls and lighthouses. The casino is within walking distance, as well as Foggy's Steakhouse. If there's a large group, combine with our other units on the same site under a separate listing called Santa’s Shack Triplex and together it can sleep up to 18 people.

This is a ground floor unit and all recently remodeled with that up north feeling including tongue and groove pine ceiling and a twin log bunk bed. It is a cozy, little studio, so there are no private bedrooms. The bathroom shower is small as well, so tall and/or large guests may have a tight squeeze. Santa’s Shack has an on demand water heater, so there is unlimited hot water, no matter if you are the first or last to shower. We just replaced the TV in the Studio with a new 55” Roku TV for your enjoyment. The heater for the Studio is a natural gas wall heater and it will get hot to the touch. If bringing little ones during heating season, please be careful. Also, the shelf above the heater is removable for easier access to heater controls. While the home is conveniently located right off of M28, there is not much for a view or privacy when hanging outside as the units all have the view of the back of the White Pine Lodge and the gas station. There is a fire pit, picnic table, and a charcoal grill for your use that is shared with the other apartments in the backyard.

Our guests here have full access to the Studio and also have access to the fire pit and charcoal grill in the backyard. They do not have access to any of the other units onsite.

We live nearby if you should need anything but will not come over unless you ask us to. If you have any questions/concerns, please message through the app or text or call if an emergency.

Pictured Rocks Family Rentals welcomes you to Rudolph's Cabin! This recently remodeled home offers 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king log bed and private master bath with tub/shower and a double sink. The second bedroom can either be 2 separate twin XL beds or we can make it into a king bed for you. We recently added a hot tub to the red outbuilding behind the home so it can be enjoyed in all seasons! We are conveniently located right on M28 about 1/4 mi west of Foggy's Steakhouse.

Our home was recently gutted down to the studs and completely remodeled. We opened up the living room/kitchen area and added a bathroom and brought the washer and dryer up to the main level. There’s a brand new 65” Roku TV in the living room and we have fiber optic wireless internet. We also added a tankless hot water heater so everybody gets a hot shower! We supply a crock pot, blender, drip coffee maker, and all the necessities to cook a meal at home. There’s a nice, large foyer with a bench and a shelf with hooks with plenty of room to store all your coats, bibs, helmets, boots, etc. You can ride right from the home to miles and miles of groomed snowmobile trails in the winter or ORV trails in the summer. There's plenty of room to park trucks and trailers for bringing your toys up. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore begins in Munising, which is only about 5 miles east of the home.

Pictured Rocks Family Rentals welcomes you to Frosty's Lakeview Chalet. Newly built home with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Bedroom 1 has queen bed with a sliding barn door, bedroom 2 also has a queen bed with sliding barn door. This home has a beautiful view overlooking Furnace Lake but does not have lake access. This home was recently built in 2023/2024 from a couple tiny homes that we combined and added on to. Since we are located in Christmas, it is decorated all year with snowmen :) We recently added an outdoor hot tub to our home. It is set on the back patio so you can relax and take in the beautiful views after a day of exploring!

You'll love the serenity and the privacy of this home, yet how close you are to area attractions such as Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Grand Island, waterfalls, hiking trails, beaches, etc. It has a beautiful view overlooking Furnace Lake. You are less than a mile from state snowmobile and ATV trails. We are dog friendly and allow up to 2 dogs with preapproval and $75 non-refundable pet fee.

You have full exclusive access to home and yard. Unfortunately, there is no lake access with the home, but it does have a great view of the lake.

Home is a short distance to casino in Christmas, Foggy's Steakhouse, and a gas station. You are only about 5 miles from downtown Munising where there are Pictured Rocks Cruises, Glass Bottom Boat Tours, Sand Point Beach, waterfalls, etc. In Munising, there is a grocery store (Pat's Foods), Family Dollar, a couple hardware stores, and numerous restaurants.

There is room to bring a boat if you have one and there is a public access to Lake Superior within 5 miles from home. There is also room to bring snowmobile/ATV trailers and then you can ride from the home to hit the trails. The driveway does have a little hill with a turn and could be a challenge to turn around and get back down if your trailer is over 20' long. There is plenty of room to park trailers at the bottom of the hill if needed.

**Signed rental agreement and security deposit hold required for all reservations. Primary guest will need to upload a picture of government issued ID and list names and ages of all other guests in their group.
**There are 2 exterior audio/video recording devices on the property. One faces the front door of the home with the driveway and the other faces the back door. They are motion activated and on 24/7/365.
