We look forward to having you visit our modern, Scandinavian style cabins with expansive window views, highlighting the North Shore Boreal Forest.
We are located along the North Shore in Lutsen, Minnesota where our backyard is marked by the Sawtooth Mountains and her majesty Lake Superior is in our front yard. The North Shore is chock full of waterfalls, rivers, and inland lakes surrounded by endless miles of hiking trails, biking trails, cross country ski trails, and snow mobile trails interwoven throughout the land. Lutsen is home to the largest ski resort in the Midwest and 20 minutes away from Grand Marais.
We have always loved and appreciated what the North Shore holds, and we are excited to share this experience with you.

Pictures are most accurate representation of a rental I've ever had. Place just rocks. Sauna is amazing and pristine. ~The resort wants us to inform you that you do NOT have access to the “Resort-Planned Activities/Events” and the shuttle, but thankfully this is a ski-in/ski-out year around vacation condo with access to all other resort amenities!
~Our local staff is pleased to tend to your housekeeping/maintenance needs. So please do NOT go to the resort front desk. Upon booking you will receive the pertinent contact info for any needs. Thank you!
~Complimentary High Speed Internet/WiFi is offered in the room and throughout the resort but can be slow and patchy, at times, due to the remoteness of the location. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

Our inviting studio at Caribou Highlands Resort features a plush queen-size bed, a renovated full bathroom, a deluxe jacuzzi tub for two, and a well-equipped kitchenette with a mini-fridge. Step onto the private deck to admire sweeping views of Eagle Mountain and Lake Superior or catch glimpses of the Gondola traversing between peaks.
Conveniently located just a brief stroll from the indoor pool, hot tub, and resort amenities, including the grill and Tap Room, this condo promises a serene retreat or a thrilling ski vacation.
The Moose access ski run lies step away, granting effortless ski-in/ski-out access. Additionally, a private outdoor storage locker is at your disposal for storing outdoor gear during your stay.
WIFI: Please note that while WiFi is available throughout the resort, its speed and reliability may be affected by the remote location.
Guests are welcome to utilize all resort amenities, including the indoor pool, hot tub, BBQ grills, resort restaurant, and fire pits. However, access to Caribou/Odyssey shuttle or activities is not included, as the unit ski-in/ski out and privately owned and managed.
Upon finalizing your booking, you'll receive an email with a registration link to sign and acknowledge our Rental Agreement, which must be completed before receiving check-in instructions.
*Please be mindful that our fully equipped kitchen features a MINI fridge/freezer, so plan accordingly when shopping before arrival.
**Please know that the WiFi signal in the Condos can be intermittent. Using your phone as a hotspot has been some guests solution in certain instances.
