- "I don’t want to sit here and slander a person for operating a business. However, I feel it’s a bit overpriced for what you get. The kitchen equipment and utensils I didn’t use because of the shape, oven didn’t work which I was informed of minutes before checking in, it wasn’t very clean with what looks like a burn mark on the carpet, and there is no soundproofing whatsoever, you can hear the person the next room over breathing. But, it did its job, not for me, wouldn’t stay again when people I worked with had full apartments for less than I paid, but it might be for someone else. To each their own."

Once guests arrive at the building, and enter in the main entrance, they will walk to the end of the hallway, walk up the flight of stairs and enter apartment #3
Other things to note
Please note that there is a flight of stairs you have to go up to reach the suite.
As we are located next to the highway, you may feel a some vibration and hear low sound due to the traffic.

Lake view suite with large patio to enjoy the outdoors with a view of Perrault Lake. The suite forms part of a 60 x 40 shop hence the name Bear Den. It's super cozy with an open concept. It has all the modern amenities and was newly renovated in 2019. The Bear Den offers a sweet (no pun intended) getaway for a secluded vacation in North Western Ontario's premier angling area.
Against a backdrop of boreal forest, Perrault Lake offers a premier fishing experience for walleye, bass, perch, northern pike, crappie, and even the elusive muskie.

Our spacious guest suite faces a quiet bay on the lake. Wake up to the sunrise on Abram Lake. Enjoy the serene view from the living room while relaxing or working. Go for a swim or a winter walk on the lake.

The space
Our guest suite is a walkout basement with private entrance. Living room and kitchen have plenty of light.
There is a daybed in the living area, suitable for a child or close family member. Please inquire if you want to rent for more than 2.
We live on the floor above. We are quiet people. Nevertheless, please be aware that you’ll hear some normal noises of activities when we are at home.

Guest access
Easiest to get around is by car. Biking is beautiful when there is no snow on the ground. It’s 4.5 km from our house to the town centre.
There is plenty of space for parking in our driveway.

Other things to note
A 2 person canoe (waiver needs to be signed) and 2 basic kayaks are available for use upon request. Snowshoes available in winter.

There is parking for one car. The property has a beach and a dock for your enjoyment. You can canoe or kayak right off the shore and have the freedom to explore the lake. If you like to hike just paddle straight across the lake to Sioux Mountain and follow the trail to the top for a spectacular view.
Two bikes are available to ride on the walking path along the highway which extends from Wellington street all the way to Frog Rapids Bridge, about 6 km.
