An amazing private setting and cute cabin 2 bed , 2 baths with big lake views on 13 private acres, yet it’s 1 mile to Superior and close to several big resorts and Lutsen ski area is one mile .Added a new gas fireplace inside and also has a great fire pit outside. Hooked up the WiFi to go with the satellite TV. Great for small families as it is close to lots of fun things to do at the ski area and near golf course too.

This cabin, (Superior views ) is very comfortable for smaller groups. It features one large bedroom, a 2ND bedroom Split from Master with a Queen bed and single bed. It has two bathrooms, one big full bathroom and a 2nd half bath , a full-size kitchen and living area plus an attached garage. There is also a screen porch and a deck, both with big views of Lake Superior. The main bedroom also with lake views .

This property backs up to the Minnesota State Scientific and Natural area and hundreds of acres of private land. It is very close to the ski area, golf course and many great restaurants.

The screen porch is a wonderful place to listen to the animal sounds (but not be in a tent). Hiking trails, mountain biking paths, berry picking areas, access to lakes and rivers are all nearby and much more - the owner will be happy to help you figure out what fun things you might want to do. We have Sat TV and it has a great cell signal for phones and iPads and fiber internet.

From there you can walk across a small foot bridge to a hammock in a tree or a seating area on the lake, then up a short climb to enjoy the a birds eye view from our comfy glider.
Leading back to the house you cross over another small bridge situated next to our charming 8ft seasonal waterfall.

Family owned cabin since 1965 located in best area of the North Shore is now offered for rent for their first time! Steps to beautiful, level and private solid bedrock shoreline - walk out with your cup of coffee in the morning to the lake. Or a great place to picnic in the afternoon... Or enjoy a cocktail "on the rocks" in the evening. Or just sit on the deck and watch/listen to the waves crash on the ledge rock below (waves can be heard at night inside too providing calming bedtime music).

South Facing means sun all day! On quiet Cascade Beach Road which provides opportunity for long walks without noise and fear of traffic. Quick drive to nearby and spectacular Cascade River Falls and Temperance River Falls. 15 minute drive to Grand Marais; 10 minute drive to Lutsen resort, golf, and ski area. Turnaround parking for trailers. - "It was so great to have a little private rock beach spot on the lake. It's a fairly private cabin- there are trees between you and the neighbors. It's obviously a family cabin and very adorably decorated in that north woods cabin style. It's close to other activities and attractions. There is everything you need in the cabin and it is clean and well kept. I agree with other reviewers the bathroom is very small and the experience requires some mobility, so not the best for mobility impaired guests. But it was great and exactly what we were looking for. The beautiful picture windows looking out at the lake are perfect. We had fires, roasted marshmallows, and relaxed. I loved it. It was not a resort experience, but if you wanted a resort experience, you shouldn't be on this website."

Due to this Home being on a 40 foot cliff this is an adults only, no pet property.

This home is a rare find! From the moment you enter, your senses are overwhelmed by the natural beauty all around you. This retreat is situated on a 40 foot cliff view of Lake Superior and right on the Gitchi-Gami bike trail. Local folks call it 'the glass house' due to the large windows offering 180 degree views of Lake Superior.

Only 3 miles to Lutsen Mountains Ski Hill. Close enough to skiing to enjoy all the amenities yet far enough to be away from all the crowds for some quiet time. The exterior walls are 65% windows with views of the lake and woods. A 10 by 15 foot skylight washes the main room with light. The total effect is that you are inside but feel at one with nature.

In the Great Room is a full kitchen, two dining areas, a gas fireplace, and a wonderful couch area under the skylight. The windows, with an amazing view of the water, are framed with window seating. Under the window seats are many books sure to interest every reader, plus stereo and many dvds, puzzles & games for your whole group to play. The bedrooms, which are separated by the Great Room, have queen beds and private full bathrooms. The master bath has a whirlpool, over-sized, deep-soaking bathtub that overlooks the lake. The Great Room can accommodate 2 guests on a gel foam mattress sofa bed.

We have recently added portable air conditioning in the great room for the rare moments the North Shore is affected by global warming.

Ideally located on Cascade Beach Road halfway between Lutsen and Grand Marais, this vintage 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom cabin was built in 1938 and updated in 2019 to add modern conveniences to this quaint retreat's original charm and character. A large wood burning fireplace constructed from hand- picked stones from the property’s stunning shoreline is the focal point of this comfortable cottage that sleeps four. Recent updates include: fully remodeled bathrooms and kitchen complete with all new appliances, including a dishwasher, an expansive multi-level deck modeled after the original deck built in the 1930's. Adding to the historical significance of this vintage cabin is the re-use of white pine harvested from the Old Globe Grain Elevator in Superior, Wisconsin. To winter guests:
Fyrreskov Cabin is a sanctuary in any weather and our guests love the secluded location, but in order to ensure we meet your highest expectations we ask to have a conversation with our guests within 48 hours of booking or prior to booking if desired.

This area sees an incredible amount of snowfall during the winter months. Fyrreskov Cabin is accessible year round but sits 2 miles back on privately maintained road. Once there is snow on the ground 4WD or AWD is necessary, potentially as early as October or as late as April, and the drive in can be narrow and steep at times.

Guests have exclusive use of the entire cabin, not including the basement. We have a 17 foot aluminum canoe that guests can use on Lake Clara for no extra charge.

Please note, there is a security camera by the front door of the cabin to monitor the driveway and front door access as needed.

In order to comply with state lodging laws, guests will be asked to provide the name and address of all guests as well as the vehicle make/license plate number in case of emergency after booking.

Conveniently located near the bottom of Ski Hill Road in Lutsen, Minnesota, this amazing location provides easy access to Lutsen Mountains Recreation Area as well as many other local attractions. From the sunroom step out onto the lake-facing deck and enjoy 180-degree views of Lake Superior and Moose Mountain.

Down the hall from the living room, you will find Mountain Top at Lutsen Mountain's three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The primary bedroom suite has an attached bathroom while the other two bedrooms share the hallway bathroom. Wake up to the sunrise over Lake Superior through the bedroom windows. As far as location goes, Mountain Top at Lutsen Mountains is so close to Lutsen Mountains that you can walk there. For the downhill skier/snowboarder, it is perfectly situated on Eagle Mountain where a 2-minute walk puts you right on Bridge Run. For the nonskier, this house is still close to everything—just minutes from the Superior Hiking Trail, a short walk brings you right to the heart of Lutsen Mountain Ski Resort. And that’s just the beginning.

During the summer months, you have easy access to the Alpine Slide, sightseeing gondola, and miles and miles of hiking trails. Should you get the urge to venture out from the immediate area, you will find you are a short drive away from many North Shore destinations. Within a 20-mile drive, you will find waterfalls, scenic overlooks, historical markers, and the quaint town of Lutsen. Just 30 miles away is Grand Marais, great for a day of shopping and dining in wonderful ma and pa stores and restaurants. -The driveway is paved and there are no steps required to access the home, including to access the lake-facing deck via a ramp from the parking area.
-All doorways and hallways are 36"+
-Flooring includes tile, hardwood, and thin carpet. Except in Bedroom 2 which has thicker carpet.
-There is 36" or more of space on at least one side of the beds in Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 3.
-The walk-in shower has only a small lip to access.
-A transfer bench is available in the utility room for anyone who needs it.
-Someone who previously lived in the home utilized a wheelchair and the home was arranged with wheelchair usage in mind.

Cliffhouse 676 features three bedrooms and three bathrooms located over two spacious levels. On the main level, you will find an open-layout living space with a luxury kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Enjoy a home-cooked meal in the dining room area where there is seating for seven with additional seating at the kitchen bar. Relax in the home's living room and enjoy large Lake Superior-facing windows. Step out on the lake-facing deck where you can enjoy cooking a summertime BBQ on the shared community gas grill. A bedroom with two queen beds and a full bathroom complete the main level.

Upstairs you will find the luxurious primary bedroom suite. This suite features a bedroom with a king bed and a separate bathroom with a stone-surround walk-in shower. The bedroom has incredible Lake Superior views! Down the hall you will find the third bedroom, this one with a queen bed, and an attached bathroom.

Enjoy the spacious 3-acre parcel that the townhomes sit on for watching wildlife and enjoying time outdoors with your family. Lutsen Mountains Recreation Area is a short distance away and provides winter and summer outdoor experiences. Several locally owned and operated shops, restaurants, and coffee shops are nearby in the town of Lutsen. This central location on the North Shore is ideal for outdoor explorations or just relaxing at home in a luxury townhome and leaving your worries behind!

Conveniently located near the bottom of Ski Hill Road in Lutsen, Minnesota, this amazing location provides easy access to Lutsen Mountains Recreation Area as well as many other local attractions. In the winter, enjoy a day of skiing at the Midwest’s premiere ski resort. During the summer months, the Alpine Slide and site-seeing Gondola are two popular activities to do at Lutsen Mountains. The Superior National at Lutsen Golf Course is a recently renovated 27-hole golf course that is right across the street. The Gitchi Gami State Trail is easily accessible across Highway 61 from the Cliff House Townhomes.

Just ten miles in either direction you will find a fabulous State Park: going west you will find Temperance River State Park and going east you will find Cascade River State Park. The picturesque town of Grand Marais is just a twenty-minute scenic drive away. Grand Marais is home to the North House Folk School and Grand Marais Art Colony. You will also find dozens of ma and pa shops and restaurants you can enjoy during your stay.

On the main floor, you will find an open layout living area with a cozy living room with a wood-burning fireplace. Perfect for curling up on a cold winter's night. Or lounge on the lake-facing chairs and watch the waves rolling in off Lake Superior. Step out onto the spacious lake-facing deck for a summertime BBQ or just to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. There is also a full kitchen, perfect for preparing home cooked meals during your stay. The main floor is rounded out with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Down on the lower level, you will find a family room with a TV, dart board, and game table—the place to gather as a family in the evenings for game night. The third bedroom and third bathroom are also located on this level. From the lower level you can walk out onto the spacious yard area and take a stroll down to your private section of Lake Superior Shoreline.

The Lutsen area offers everything from miles of hiking and biking trails to the Midwest’s premier downhill skiing destination – Lutsen Mountains. Known primarily as a ski resort, during the summer months and fall you can take a scenic gondola ride up to the summit of Moose Mountain. Once you reach the top, enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Superior and the surrounding wilderness.

Staying on the wilderness trail, Cascade State Park is just down the road and features a gorgeous waterfall following a short, easy hike. You are also just a short drive from several North Shore restaurants and quaint, locally-owned shops, including the North Shore’s first winery and first local coffee roaster.
