We have a two car driveway in front of the house that is uncovered and gravel. There is space for 2 cars parked one behind another, but it may be tight fitting if you have extra large vehicles.

It was warm in the upstairs bedrooms without air conditioning (we had some hot 80 degree days), but there were multiple fans available and a couple of cooling towers with ice packs in the freezer that did help. The location was great. The house was in a quiet neighborhood just a short drive from downtown. We were able to drive to waterfalls and beaches all a short distance away. Occasionally renters ask “why an additional nightly charge for each guest over the first two?” We are sure you understand , as with any household, additional residents add to the costs of operation. Scavenger services( charged by-the-bag), septic service( more pumping) ,laundry (sheets and towels) , utilities ( water, electricity) , cleaning services, general wear-and-tear and other overheads increase with the number of occupants. While most rentals are to groups of two, it would be unfair to price the basic nightly rate to prorate the additional costs associated with larger-group stays. Thank you for understanding.

Strap on your ski’s and you’ll be in a nice warm bar within 5 minutes:)

ATV's and Snowmobiles are welcome with plenty of on/off street parking.

- "Our family (2 adults, older teen and small dog) had a great vacation at this extremely private RV along the Ontogonan River. We lucked into some cooler August temperatures during our stay. While we only caught and released a "sunfish" (& saw other fish) and heard coyotes nearby (like, surrounding us?) the guest book mentioned catching sturgeon etc off the dock and sighting a bear during their stays. Wild turkeys peek into the campsite and run along the road leading to the campsite. The two evenings that had mosquitoes at the private dock were the best for fishing. We would return and perhaps ask friends to camp at the empty campsite on the property next time. The history museum and local restaurants are exceptional. The local grocery store is well stocked with all brands including organic and other specialty foods and water (we didn't like the taste of the potable water at the campsite). The RV is fully stocked with tons more necessities than a hotel kitchen. We wanted extra towels for our dog and for the RV floor for boots and found some at the huge dollar store near the grocery. If you have never stayed in an RV, you should stop into a dealership and do a walk through. The steps into this RV are steep and the door opens outward over the steps. The screen door hooks to the outer door, and you need to be quick. There is little floor space. The bathroom is small. Convenient hooks line the walls, but be prepared. The views are incredible and the bed is very comfortable."

CJ's "cabin" is located in the old mining town of White Pine. About 5 miles from the lake, it's the perfect base camp to explore the UP, hike the Porcupine Mountains, hunt agates on the beach or just relax. Most of the homes in White Pine were built as identical "company houses", but CJ's has been remodeled with raised ceilings and wood paneling for the rustic, cozy feel of a cabin retreat. The master sleeps two on a queen Tempur-Pedic memory foam mattress. The small bedroom sleeps one and the foldout sofa in the living room sleeps two kids or one adult.

CJ's is just minutes from the Konteka Black Bear Lounge and snowmobile trails, and a short drive will take you on beautiful adventures exploring the Porcupine Mountains or to the beach. Please note: The property IS NOT on Lake Superior. White Pine is about a 5 minute drive from the lake.

If you want to stream and chill or game after exploring the area, we have 500 Mbps Internet with Roku and Sling, so just be sure to bring your login/password info for whatever apps you use.

The Bee Hive is a centrally located, family friendly, newly remodeled 1930's home that is conveniently located in a residential neighborhood on a corner lot with walking access to local businesses.
Additional parking available on the side of the garage for multiple trailers for your snowmobile or UTV/ATV's or multiple vehicles. The house is only a couple blocks from trails for biking, walking, ATVs and snowmobiling, within 2 to 15 minutes from ski trails and ski hills, and only 20 minutes from Lake Superior beaches and waterfalls.

- "My husband and our son joined me and we absolutely loved the bear den. It was exactly what we needed. We brought our clothing and groceries and just enjoyed the house. Very cozy close to everything a beautiful location. We had the best of both worlds Michigan and Wisconsin. The house is extremely clean and the beds comfy as can be. After a day of hiking at Porcupine Mountain the jacuzzi was the best. We grilled all of our dinners and for lunch the wonderful people at “ Bread Superior “ made our sandwiches their bread us the best!!! It’s eight minutes from the house. Our first night after driving all day the “ Iron Nugget” was very welcoming wonderful staff as well as great service and large portion dinner. My family thoroughly enjoyed all the games too as we had one rainy day and we ventured out to the Cranberry bogs and enjoyed the games and tv. On our last day we went to Bayvisw, Wi and did the “ Fruit Loop “ tour of orchards which were beautiful some with wild flower fields and all the welcoming people. We also sampled some wine and listened to music. The “ Bear Den” is the perfect vacation home and Tracey is the best hostess. We will definitely return one day."

This old gas station converted space is unique just like us. Our place is located on US HWY2, close to everything. Just 1 block to access the atv/utv/snowmobile trail, 3 blocks to the bike/walking trail (Iron Belle), and centrally located between the skills hills. Copper Peak and Lake Superior only a short drive away.

The space offers a large parking lot to hold a couple of trucks and trailers. For all the EV travelers we offer indoor charging. The garage stall accommodates snowmobiles and ATV/UTV's to wrench on with a small, designated workspace and basic tools.

No need to take off your shoes as this floor encourages you to wear your shoes or slippers.

Our bedroom offers 2 new queen beds, eco-friendly sheets, fireplace with electric heat, 42" smart tv, and Nintendo Wii. A dedicated office space offers an antique desk and roll chair.

The large open concept space is the heart of Da Shop, you can cook a meal, sit at our one-of-a-kind car lift table, and hand your gear to dry while watching your favorite show on the 65" smart TV with Bluetooth sound bar. Start a real fire in our glass doored wood stove, stay toasty warm while enjoying a board game or cards. In the warmer months take a nap on the couch that converts to a pull-out full-size bed while allowing the air conditioning to blow.

Approximately a 7 min drive to Walmart and a 10 to 15 min drive to downtown Ironwood .

Welcome to our "Pondominium"! Cozy & very private but close to amenities such as restaurants, grocery stores, cross country, downhill & snowmobile trails. Includes a private entrance/driveway/parking lot, wood fired sauna, shower, microwave, hotplate, k-cup coffee machine, toaster oven, campfire with tripod grill, sleeping loft + sleeping sofa in common area. We have a 1/2 mile snow shoe loop on property. Located 1 mile off U.S. 2.

PLEASE NOTE: we have a steep ladder to sleeping loft & an outhouse (no indoor bathroom).

Everyone that sees or stays at our Pondominium loves it! It's very cozy, clean and private, yet close to everything.

Neighborhood overview
Rural setting but only one mile to Burger King, Subway, Breakwater restaurant, Don & GG's pub/restaurant, Super One grocery, Walmart, & Dunham's Sports. The Iron Belle biking/walking trail that links Ramsay, Bessemer, Ironwood & Hurley WI is one mile away. Our property is lush and green in the summer, has beautiful autumn colors on the hills behind the pond in the fall and loads of snow in the winter. Other things to note No soap products. Also NO DIVING in the pond please, no snowmobiles, no ATV's.

Getting around: Driving, walking, bicycling plus Twin City Cab is available in Ironwood.

Other things to note: The ladder to the sleeping loft is steep so it may not be suitable for young children or older adults. We have no indoor toilet. We do have a clean, pleasant smelling outhouse with electricity & artwork 50' from the cabin. We have hot water, a kitchen sink, and a shower in the sauna but are limited by a 5 gallon electric hot water heater. No soap products or diving in the pond please. A reasonable amount of sauna and campfire wood will be provided.

It was better than the photos. There was everything we could need and more. Everything was brand new and they did a great job at decorating. There's plenty of games for kids, a PS3, TV with lots of streaming services, comfy furniture, etc. It was close to the Porkies, waterfalls , and Lake Superior, but also within a few minutes of Kwik Trip and Walmart. Our son snowboards and was so excited about being able to walk just a short way to the ski lift. The surrounding area is just beautiful and very peaceful. My husband and I were able to enjoy quite walks on the secluded road. Located just outside Wakefield and close to Ironwood Michigan, Black River Harbor Recreation area and the Porcupine Mountains. We were able to snowshoe in to see some amazing waterfalls! It was nice to get back to nature! The villa was very clean and cozy. Had everything we needed. Great view of the ski resort! Our host Pete was very accommodating and answered all our questions. He made sure the snow was plowed for parking and came down personally to introduce himself on our first night there. Would definitely stay here again! Had a fantastic time!"

The whole condo (1700 sq ft) and anything that isn't locked. The indoor hot tub and sauna are only for this condo. Each condo has its own indoor hot tub, sauna, and fireplace. The hot tub is on year-round and has a built-in dehumidifier. The front driveway of this condo can fit 3-4 vehicles and the driveway is long enough to fit trailers.

During your stay
I give my guests space but am available in person when needed. You can get a hold of me on Airbnb messages.

- The pet fee is limited to 1 pet. And if you bring a pet, make sure to pick up and clean all your pet's messes. No puppy or pet that is not potty trained. The pet is not allowed near the hot tub, sauna, or the other condo. Your pet should be social and not aggressive toward people. By bringing your pet, you release all liabilities from the host.

- Check-in for last-minute bookings on the same day will be 7 pm and the hot tub will not be available because it takes 24 hrs to heat it.

- The host WILL NOT be hosting an experience, a tour guide, a servant, a babysitter, or any services except help with any problems.

Welcome to Olkies Apartments! The 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment sits above the once iconic Olkies Bar. It has been closed for many years but this amazing historical building lives on. Within walking distance to everything in downtown Ironwood, your whole group will enjoy easy access from this centrally located apartment.

Needing Adventure? We are close to Copper Peak for site seeing, Big Powderhorn Resort for skiing, trails, or launch a boat onto Gile Flowage for some summer fun. See you soon!

The space
Cozy one bedroom apartment with a kitchen, romantic living room, designated desk space, spacious bathroom with stack-able washer and dryer free for your use! The queen size bed is in the bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The side yard is available for you and your pets but there is no fence so please keep dogs on a leash.

Note 1: For those new to Ironwood many of the buildings are older and in need of cosmetic work, the Suffolk block is no exception. Let is be known we are in the process of improving the exterior of the building but it is slow and may not currently meet certain guest standards. Our price reflects this being one of the most "budget friendly options" in town. Also fans provided but No AC please plan accordingly.

Note 2: There is a band that plays on Tuesday Nights from 6PM-9PM in the Bar downstairs Its a great time and all are welcome to join in. For most guests this has been a real pleasure and a highlight of their stay. Unfortunately for some it was not appreciated. If you are booking this apartment during a Tuesday night please be prepared to enjoy the music, which can get loud in the apartment, or be out and about on the town away from the apartment.

This Unit is a upper/lower duplex.
You will have exclusive access with own private entrance to the entire upper unit, which is a 3-bedroom, 1 bath.

This nicely updated unit is within a short 5 minute drive to Ironwood's Aspirus Hospital and just a short 2 minute drive to downtown Ironwood.

The laundry is in the basement. You will get your own laundry set, but the basement is shared with the downstairs renters. They have their own washer and dryer down there.

We provide sheets, blankets, towels and the kitchen is stocked with everything you will need to cook. We provide you with a starter pack of essentials to get you started: 3 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towel, and 1 box of kleenex.
