Welcome to the Krazy Krueger Abode, located in downtown Appleton! It’s a smaller, but cozy, 2 bedroom, 1 bath, 728 sq ft.home (sleeps 4) which has been completely remodeled and beautifully decorated. It's within walking distance to Mile of Music, the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, the History Museum at the Castle, the Trout Museum of Art, Lawrence University, Jones Park, Houdini's Escape Gastropub as well many other restaurants, bars, downtown shops and events.
✱ The kitchen is very well stocked with all of the pots, pans, glassware and serving utensils needed during your stay. There are newer appliances (sorry, no dishwasher), a blender, a microwave, as well as a separate coffee station with a coffee pot and Keurig for all of your caffeine needs.
✱ The main living space includes a new 50" wall-mounted Smart TV, a new couch, loveseat, coffee table and two new end tables, each with their own cell phone charging stations. Several puzzles and games are located inside the coffee table. There is also a new stackable washer and dryer located in its own enclosed area off of the dining room.
✱ Our house has 2 bedrooms; a master bedroom with a queen size bed and a second bedroom with a full-size bed. Each bedroom also has its own cell phone charging station. Although the bedrooms are smaller; new beds, mattresses and bedding ensure a very comfortable and relaxing night’s sleep.

Well established neighborhood with lots of giant trees lining the streets. The backyard boarders on what used to be a private golf course, but is now public green space with 72 acres of trails and gardens. It's so beautiful, and it's right in the backyard!
You can walk to downtown in about 15 minutes (or drive in about 3-5) and enjoy a number of great restaurants, bars, shops, and a fantastic performing arts center. Lawrence University is also close, being just at the edge of downtown.
Getting Around:
UBER, Lyft, City Bus System and Taxis all available. Easy city to walk, run or bike around as well.

The Neighborhood:
Appleton is one of the few midwest downtowns left that continue to thrive and grow. Getting Around:
Uber and Lyft are abundant and ready to take you wherever you want to go. There is also a city bus station a few blocks away. The downtown area is VERY safe and you can easily walk anywhere down here at any time of day or night.
Other Things to Note:
There are about 20+ stairs up to this 2nd floor unit. There is NO free parking. There is a parking ramp 1 block behind us for paid parking ($20). Street metered parking is available during the day but not overnight.
Interaction with Guests:
You have private access via a keypad lock to the unit upstairs, so we will let you come and go uninterrupted on your own. However, should any questions arise, we are just a phone call or text message away.
- "The remodeling/upgrades done on this 1900’s apartment are well done. They’ve modernized the apartment while keeping the classic charm. While Downton Appleton goes to sleep early (unless you enjoy bar hopping), the block that this apartment is located has a number of fun little shops/coffeehouses/eateries. There is also a large YMCA behind this apartment which offers day passes if you accustom to a daily workout. One negative (which is out of the control of this apartment owner) is parking. Street parking is only allowed during the day and in 2-hour chunks. The parking app will not let you book consecutive 2-hour blocks of time, so you’ll need to move your car to a new stall every two hours. There is a convenient parking ramp on the next block which is $20 per overnight. I would stay here again as I need to beat my high score on the pinball machine!"

Our home is about a 2 minute drive from St. Elizabeths hospital, a 4 minute drive from downtown, Lawrence University and the PAC, 30 minutes from Green Bay (Lambeau Field), 20 minutes away from Oshkosh and just under 2 hours from Milwaukee (Airport, Summerfest). Just 2 minutes from the highway that will take you to all these places, but in a nice, safe established neighborhood bordering Reid Golf Course.

This neighborhood is well established, friendly and safe. The streets are lined with trees, and everyone who walks by says hi. Located on the east edge of Reid Golf Course, you can golf in the summer and sled/skate in the winter. We're just a few blocks away from St. Elizabeths hospital, about a mile from downtown, and a 2 minute drive from the highway that will take you to Green Bay or Oshkosh.
Getting Around:
Uber and Lyft are available and abundant. The surrounding neighborhoods and downtown are very bike friendly. The city is easy to navigate if you have a car. City bus and taxi's are also available. Walking to downtown and Lawrence University is a straight shot with sidewalks the whole way.
Other Things to Note:
There is parking for 1 car in the driveway. Additional street parking is available seasonally, and your vehicle can be called into the city for free overnight street parking.

Thanks for a great & comfortable stay!" - "Unlike some places, what you see in photos is pretty much what you get. It was nice and clean, nicely decorated. The backyard is fenced, though it is relatively short and access isn't connect to the house, so a leash was needed for us to bring our dogs back. The street on the one side is pretty. We all found the beds and furniture comfortable. Upstairs AC isn't great... we shut downstairs vents and turned the temp down to cool the upstairs. But once we figured out how to better manage that we were all comfortable and happy. We all said we'd stay again or recommend to others. We had a problem with the door code not working one time and property managers were quick to respond and resolve, getting someone out ASAP (resolved within about 20 minutes). All in all a nice stay and we'd repeat if we have an occasion in the future."

While you're located in a paramount spot, our apartment is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood with easy access to the local supermarket, restaurants, hospitals, and Hwy I-41.

Two Bedroom and one bath apartment on the second floor. We have a fully stocked kitchen, full bathroom with tub, and a bright and comfortable living room for you to enjoy. Off-street parking is available, and we are 1.5 miles from the ThedaCare Regional Medical Center and 3 miles from downtown.
Both of our bedrooms feature a premium memory foam mattress with down-filled topper, and two pillows per guest. Next to the beds you will find a nightstand complete with a reading light, phone charging station, and books.
Bedroom 1 - The Cactus Room: queen sized bed with a built in dresser and closet. Snuggle underneath the warm blankets and stream your favorite shows or movie with our 42 inch Smart TV.

The Residences of Kensington are the crown jewel in our array of housing offerings. These two-bedroom one bath units feature a waterfall granite island with four designer stools, a large executive 78″ built in modern fireplace with 65″ built in television, and a full stainless steel high-end appliance upgrade.
Each unit comes with a garage, not attached, and free laundry access in the building (not in the individual units). In addition to the garage there is a second parking space available for each apartment.
Bathrooms have tub/shower and large 48″ vanity, many with granite or quartz updates and new shower doors and updated fixtures.
The two bedrooms feature closets and 50″ TVs with one king bed per unit and the second bedroom typically having a queen bed or a pair of extra-long twin beds. The Lavish Lion specifically currently has a queen bed set up in the second bedroom as pictured.
The furnishing appointments can be defined as executive upgraded with nicer large sectionals, abundant pillows, blankets, nice new mattresses that have been highly reviewed, and a kitchen with extra stock to include everything from your small appliances (toaster/coffee maker/blender/griddle) to extra wine glasses, pots and pans, big spoon drawer items etc.
Clients should be aware that we have light construction going on in some of the units. This light construction includes updating tile and flooring replacement in last remaining units awaiting updates. If you don’t work on a day shift please feel free to inquire more about the construction status at these units and if they will be a fit for you.
Laundry is in building and free of use. Cable and Wi-Fi and all utilities are included. In addition to a garage there is an off-street parking space for each unit. This is a nice neighborhood in walking distance from restaurants. The unit has a small private patio. The property has a modest outdoor area with a picnic table and pine trees for outdoor lunching.

Getting Around:
Even though you can easily walk to Lawrence University or anywhere downtown, Uber and Lyft are available. The city bus station is about 2 blocks away.

You'll be about 3.5 miles from downtown Appleton and Lawrence University. For Lawrence University visitors, we're an easy 9-minute drive via residential streets to the heart of the school.
For Lambeau Field visitors, you'll have easy access to I-41 and a short drive to Green Bay.
Neighborhood shopping includes Kohl’s, Home Depot and Walmart. Restaurants are handy, too. It's about 10 miles to the Fox River Mall and the Appleton airport.

The house is 4500 sf and the private room available is on the first floor away from the rest of the house. Lower level of a historic brick duplex several blocks from Appleton’s downtown. Be close to the nightlife and enjoy a large deck space out front in the summers. This unit has hardwood floors, built in fireplace and entertainment center, french doors leading into the master and a large welcoming open office area.
Kitchen has been updated with fresh, fun color pallet. Full in unit laundry all on the first floor. Ample parking and small garage.
