We rented a boat up the lake at latitude218 and he delivered the boat to us which was amazing since I was wondering how that would work with being a single parent on the trip. The owners was great with communication. There were several questions I had to them prior to and they answered almost immediately. They even reached out during our stay to make sure everything was good. The only complaint we had was not due to the house or the owners, but due to the amount of rain they have received over the course of months prior to our stay. The backyard was a sponge and definitely not something possible for outdoor activities in the backyard. But we had a boat and wanted to use that, so once you travel thru that to the dock you are set. :) One key if you travel on a boat past the reeds where it cliffs off to 15feet is where the fish are. Kids loved it!!"

In the winter enjoy ice fishing, skiing (cross country trails are plentiful in the area, or downhill at Buena Vista Ski), snowshoeing and snowmobiling (equipment not provided with cabin rental, but is available to rent locally).

Built by my family in 1965 as a summer fishing cabin, many record-setting muskies were caught and released by my grandpa and dad while staying here. Facing Goose Island (a renowned fishing locale) on the big part of Leech Lake, you have unparalleled views and access.

There are two bedrooms, each containing a new queen mattress. There is also an inflatable queen mattress that would be ideal in the living room area. The living room and kitchen/dining room have an open plan with high timber ceilings.

Bring your boat! There is a dock and shore station for a small boat (18'fiberglass/20' aluminum maximum) to which you have access, complete with a foldable filet station on the front porch. Additional amenities include: canoe, washing machine and dryer, Wifi, DVD player and DVD library, full kitchen and bath, a lakefront fire pit, picture windows, and an outdoor sitting porch. Responsible pet owners with their furry friends are welcome.

Take a step back in time! Our family has infused the cabin with love for 55 years- my grandma created all the rag rugs that still cover the floors and all the decor is vintage and original. The cabin is part of a compound of 4 family cabins on 40 acres set in the heart of the Chippewa National Forest. Our family has made memories here for 75 years and five generations. We have renovated each cabin to be charming and comfortable for the family members who use them. To help with the expenses we have decided to rent out two of the cabins when we are not using them. We will treat you as family and hope that you do the same for us.
This cabin is located on Round Lake, up on a bank, with great views of the lake from most of the cabin. Steps from your front door is 1000 feet of private sandy beach on a great swimming-fishing-boating lake. The sand bottom drops off very gradually, making it ideal for kids to swim safely. Round Lake is known for its great fishing, with a variety of species including walleyes, northerns, perch and panfish.
Enjoy the spectacular sunsets, star-filled skies and sometimes northern lights from our private dock. We provide 2 canoes, 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboards for our guests to use. We will give you info on renting a fishing boat on the lake or you can bring your own boat and moor it in front of our beach. Lounge, grille or picnic on your private patio. Make s’mores or hot dogs on a fire in the lakeside fire pit.
The small but efficient two-bedroom layout is perfect for a family of 5 or two couples. There is a new queen size bed in one bedroom and a new single over double bunk bed in the second bedroom. The 6-person antique table is a great place for meals and games or card playing. The cabin is set up to provide for all your needs: high speed 250 mg direct connect internet, wifi, smart television, ¾ bathroom, well supplied kitchen, linens and towels. The seclusion of our cabins offers an ideal habitat for a variety of birds and animals. You are likely to see loons, pelicans, eagles, various ducks and geese, hummingbirds at the feeder by your cabin, deer and occasionally the fox after whom the cabin is named.

We went out nearly every single day to explore the surrounding lake area and were captivated by the wildlife and beautiful scenery. Restaurant options in the immediate area are okay and there was greater choice when we were in Grand Rapids. The local gas station has a decent range of food for a simple meal. We also bought a fishing license here and the staff advised us on the best places to fish. Judy was an excellent host. She provided so much information before our stay and was on hand for any questions. We tried a number of excursions suggested in the information book, including a walk to the Lost 40 woodland and a walk and swim at the Sunken Lake. Recently updated, Murph’s Retreat and Bungalow, is located in the beautiful city of Cass Lake, MN! Less than a 2 min drive to Cedar Lake Casino, the Cass Lake Public boat launch, and walking distance to The Big Tap bar and grill. Main home and bungalow are fully furnished with 1 king and 1 queen bed in main house, and 2 twins and a full futon in the bungalow. The house also includes a Washer/dryer, oversized water heater, grill, ping pong table, fire pit, indoor and outdoor fish cleaning station, games, smart TV’s in every room, WiFi, off street boat parking with hook-ups.

With some of the best fishing the lake has to offer, you are located right on the public boat access with102,900 acres to find that perfect fishing spot and restaurants that are just 20-30 minute boat rides away. Aside from fishing you have access to all the ATV trails the Chippewa National Forest has to offer. The home comes fully stocked with all the essentials and supplies needed to accommodate minum of 5 people or maximum of 8 people. Walking into the house on the back door, you will come into the kitchen with the laundry room to the left and living room in front of you. Off to the right you will find 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. To the left of the living room is the master bedroom and bathroom. We hope you enjoy your stay.

This year-round cabin is located just off the Blue Ox ATV/snowmobile trail that runs from International Falls to Bemidji. It's located 5 miles from Northome which offers small town conveniences and hospitality. Looking to fish? Island lake only 3 miles, Upper Red Lake is 30 miles, Canadian border lakes are 75 miles plus MANY other great lakes nearby. The area also offers excellent hunting opportunities including grouse, bear and deer.
It's a great property for a group trip for fishing (summer or ice), wheeling or snowmobiling! There is plenty of space for big trailers and has a circle driveway. This cabin is located on the Blue Ox ATV/snowmobile trail that runs from International Falls to Bemidji so a great location for those wheeling or snowmobiling getaways! Located only 5 miles from Northome so you have quick access to small town conveniences and hospitality. Only 3 miles to the Island Lake public access for great fishing or 30 miles to Washkish (Upper Red Lake). Only 75 miles to the Canadian border waters so doable for a day trip. The area also offers excellent hunting opportunities including bear, deer and grouse.
It's a great property for hanging out with family and friends. It has a pool table, jukebox and a firepit!

Cabin 14 is 900 sq. ft. and is situated on the lower level. Cabin 14 has 1 queen 2 twin beds in the bedroom. The bathroom has a step in shower. The living room has 2 queen sized Easy Beds, which can sleep up to 8 people. There is also a complete open kitchen, dining room, This cabin has an adjoining door with Cabin 12. This cabin comes with 1 dock slip. Cabin 14 is handicap accessible! We do not provide towels, please bring kitchen, bath paper towels!

We are pet Friendly. If you bring your pet there is a $20 fee per day or $100 per week. Please remember to clean up after your pet and keep them leashed at all times. NEVER leave your pets unattended unless if kenneled.

We only had 4 of us but the home can easily accommodate 10 people. 4 bedrooms have en-suite baths which was an added bonus. We’ll definitely be back."

Seasonal Cabins on Blackduck Lake near the Chippewa National Forest is an outdoor lover’s paradise. We are centrally located to outstanding fishing, biking, hunting, hiking, and ATV trails. Our cabins are just 25 minutes away from Bemidji, with all the conveniences of a city.
In abundant peace and quiet, enjoy the great outdoors on the shores of Blackduck Lake.

We are on the banks of the Mississippi in Beautiful Northern Minnesota. Our home is about a 15 minute drive from Downtown Bemidji. We are inviting you to join us in our home. We live upstairs but have recently finished our basement just for you to enjoy. We have an active, musical home but will be careful to observe quiet times so that you can get a good nights rest. The Bemidji area has so much to explore, I can't wait to host you and tell you all about it.

You will be staying in our basement. You do have to go through our laundry room to get there but once downstairs you have a large area with a bedroom, bathroom, ping-pong room, playroom and Den (with a little kitchenette in it) just for you to enjoy.

All the rooms with doors open (Bedroom, den, bathroom, playroom and main room) in the basement are for your use. You will also go through the laundry room on the main floor and you are welcome to use that as well.

During your stay
I love to visit with you but I also respect your privacy. I am also gone or busy a fair amount. If you see me around totally feel free to stop and chat, I love to get to know people. My children are a little more reserved and probably will not reach out to visit much, if any, while you are here. I will not come down to visit with you in your space unless you need something, the majority of our living quarters are also private but I may run across you in the entry way or outside and you can always reach out to me when needed.

The semi-basement has been retrofitted to reflect the rustic backcountry northern Minnesota style and has its separate entry and lock for privacy. This spacious room is equipped with a sitting area as well as a kitchenette. There is also a full size futon to accommodate a group of three. Private bathroom is across from the laundry room.

The space
This spacious studio has room for everyone to stretch. The sitting area is furnished with a reclining couch, a lounge chair and a coffee table. The kitchenette is equipped with a kitchen sink, a microwave, a toaster, a mini fridge, a coffee pot and electric burner upon request. There are dishwares and silverwares in the kitchen cabinet, and a table for you to dine or work on. The private bathroom is just across from the room next to the laundry room, equipped with shower essentials and completely to yourself. Though located in our house, other than some noise that transfers from floor to ceiling, this studio room feels like a place all to yourself. This is one of the two rooms we rent out in the basement. You may book both for a larger group.

This beautiful 1904 spacious historic home kept its original charm, where you can enjoy the original claw foot bath tub, and watch the sunrise over Lake Bemidji. Located on the lake walk, it offers quietness on a one-way street, but also liveliness being only a few blocks from downtown and the University. This suite on the first floor, and includes a private vintage bathroom, an adjoining parlor. Please note that it shares an entry with the host. Licensed by the MN Dept. of Health.

The space
The suite our guests will stay in is a quaint bedroom on the first floor with a queen size bed. The adjoining parlor/kitchenette, which is furnished a sink, microwave, and a mini refrigerator, an electric cooktop exclusively for our guests. Both rooms and the vintage bathroom right next door are tucked away on one side of the house, offering additional privacy for our guests. On this side of the house, there is a living room that can be closed off to accommodate a party of four or be used for meeting friends at your request. There is a sectional sofa that converts to a full size bed in that living room. When guests park in the back and come through the back door, then the room is just left through the kitchen.

Here we believe in the power of a good night sleep. Equipped with supportive mattress, cotton sheets and goose down blanket/organic cotton quilt, you are sure to be comfortable every season you visit.

We offer self check-in. You have the whole house to yourself but we live near by and will be available if any issues arise. Everything in the house is available for your use. The only area that is not available to you is the shop on the property that we use for storage.

We will have cold cereal, oatmeal, eggs, coffee, hot cocoa, and tea available. We do not plan on restocking mid-stay but feel free to let us know if you are running short. All other food and drinks will be your responsibility. We have a few standard items available in the kitchen for your use (pots and pans, mixing bowls, baking sheets, etc.).

Enjoy Northwoods trails winter or summer. Grant Lake is renowned for its good fishing and water quality. The property has over 200 feet of private lakeshore frontage. Boat access is available next door at Rognlien Park ...which also has a very nice sandy beach. Winter activities include ice fishing, sledding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling. Access lake from stairway down to dock or from Rognlien Park next door. Parking for boat or trailer avail on property.

** As many of us Northern Minnesotans know, Asian beetles have made waves of population during the colder months, and there isn’t much we can do to deter them. They are quite like mosquitos. You don’t really mind them unless they land on you. They may bite on occasion however we do not think they are anything to be too concerned about. Just a small disclaimer about Asian beetles prior to booking with us here at Blue Meadows.**

* Also, please do not try to clean the stainless steel appliances, as we have special cleaning supplies for this and we will handle this.

In an effort to be more eco friends I have new wool rugs and unfortunately they shed for the first few months it’s not dog hair on the floor but rug fibers.

Bring your snowmobile and hop on the famous Paul Bunyan State Trail which you have private access to at the beginning of the driveway. This beautiful historic trail is the longest state trail in MN and connects with the Heartland State Trail, Blue Ox Trail, and Lake Bemidji State Park.
A short 10 minute car ride brings you to quaint downtown Bemidji where you can find the famous Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox statues as well as great local places for food, drinks, and coffee. A 10 minute drive north up the west side of the lake brings you to serene Lake Bemidji State Park where there's a boat launch, beach, and hiking trails.

Other things to note
While there is not a sandy beach area per se, the lake is very shallow (3-4 feet deep) for a very large area around the dock, making it great for swimming and water activities. There are AC units in the main living area and master bedroom but not the guest bedroom.

This beautiful, bright, and very secluded lake home is sited on 40 acres about a mile up a broad, forested peninsula. It features three bedrooms, open concept dining and living areas, a full kitchen and air conditioning with picture windows and deck overlooking the lake. Have breakfast on the deck then fish or boat on Kitchi Lake, nearby Cass or scenic Turtle river and return to grill your catch for dinner. Or just relax with a book or TV. Shopping? Bemidji is 20 miles away.

The space
This beautiful, secluded lake home is located at 3313 Kitchi Point Road NE, a mile up a broad, forested peninsula on 40 acres. It features open concept kitchen, dining and living areas with hardwood floors, picture windows and a long deck providing broad views of the lake and woods. Three bedrooms (the master has a queen size bed) and two bathrooms accommodate up to seven. It has central air and heating, soft water, washer, dryer, dishwasher and a fully equipped kitchen. Amenities include high speed internet, satellite TV, a DVD player, wifi, board games, books, a fire pit, and a grill. Linens, towels and dishes are provided. We have recently added a stairway to the dock and upgraded interior furnishings. At about 2.5 hours, from Fargo, Grand Forks and Duluth and about 4 from Minneapolis, it is a great weekend getaway if you can't stay longer

The house is on Kitchi Lake, which lies is in the middle of the Cass Lake chain of eight inter-navigable lakes and offers a variety of game fish including walleye, northern pike, crappie, blue gill, large mouth bass and muskie. Cass Lake, a ten minute boat ride from the house, is also one of the state’s premier muskie lakes and a favorite with trophy fishermen. If you bring your own boat, a landing is available about a mile from the house, or you can usually rent one on the lake.

Turtle River, which runs through Kitchi, provides boaters and canoeists with spectacular views of woodlands and wildlife. The southwestern corner of our property usually has a pair of eagles nesting between May and September and fledgelings often forage along our shoreline or circle the house.

Nearby Bemidji offers a variety of family activities including hiking and biking on state trails, several golf courses, and major retail chains. Many of our guests book to attend programs at the Sanford Center or Bemidji State while getting in some fishing. or other activity.

* If your party much larger than seven, consider also booking our companion property, The Point, a quarter mile up the road (listing number 1392352) which handles 6, or combined, around 13. Renting the two properties is also the solution for groups who want a shared vacation experience while maintaining separate family accommodations.

Nestled between Kitchi Lake and bay, this cozy 3 bedroom 2 bath lake home offers the storied Minnesota lake cabin experience and is only 20 miles from Bemidji. The single level home sleeps 6 with 2 queen, and 2 single beds, and is just steps from a 150 foot sand beach and 2 docks -- one on each shore. East and west facing windows offers breathtaking views of sunrises, sunsets and wildlife on each shore and the lake offers great walleye, northern and panfish fishing.

The space
The house sits at the tip of a north/south peninsula that separates Kitchi Lake from its bay. East and west facing window offer lakefront views, and spectacular views of sunrises and sunsets, and the local wildlife. Kitchi Lake, itself, offers great fishing opportunities, and its location in the middle of the eight lake (Cass Lake) chain affords access to fishing throughout the waterway.

The east dock can handle large boats and pontoons. You can launch most boats at the beach. Larger boats and pontoons usually require using a boat ramp located about a mile away. While we provide a canoe and kayak with the rental, you can usually rent a boat or pontoon on the lake.

Amenities include washer and dryer, coffee maker, coffee press, rice cooker and crock pot, gas grill, fire pit, dishwasher, high speed satellite internet. and Dish TV; We also provide a wide screen TV in the living room and a standard set in the master bedroom. With only one other house (3313 Kitchi Pt. Rd., which we also own) about a quarter of a mile south on the peninsula, and above that completely undeveloped Federal land, The Point offers a measure of seclusion that is truly unique while its proximity to Bemidji provides quick access to necessities.
