We're located two hours north of the twin cities in the beautiful lakes and woods area of Palisade, Mn. The town of Palisade is an 8 mile drive away where you can find gas stations for fueling up ATV's, a couple of restaurants/bars for a bite to eat or a drink, a city park for the kids to play or picnic, and a church to attend a service. The resort itself has two docks for you to throw out a line or dock your boat. We also offer free use of a 14’ Lund fishing row boat, life vests, kayaks, canoes, and a paddle boat for some recreational fun. Lake Waukenabo is connected to tiny West Lake by boat and if you're feeling adventurous you can kayak or canoe through a channel to Sitas Lake. You can fish for Northern pike, walleye, perch, crappie, sunfish, bluegill, or bass and we have a screened in fish cleaning house for your catch of the day. We have a playground, sandbox, and tree house for the kids. Many families like to bring their bikes to take a stroll along the lake. There is a private fire pit with a removable food grate or a gas grill for your use. We have firewood available so you can sit by the fire and enjoy a quiet evening on the lake! Feel free to bring the ATV's as we're near thousands of acres of state forest and ATV trails. The closest bigger town is Grand Rapids and it's a 35 minute drive north. We do not have a swimming beach, but many kids just swim off the docks. If you want a swimming beach, round lake has one down the road. Your cabin (The Knotty Pine) has been newly remodeled with all new pine tongue and groove interior, custom kitchen cabinets and counter tops, new fixtures, new windows, new bathroom, new furnishings, ice cold AC, and new everything for that comforting "Up North" feel. The cabin has two separate bedrooms with a bathroom in between. Towels are provided. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other a full. The living room has a sleeper sofa and a recliner. We have Dish Network for TV and free fiber optic powered Wi-Fi. Our family has been in the resort hospitality business since 1958 and we take great pride in the services we provide. Swans Nest Cabin is an adorable, cozy one bedroom, perfect for enjoying nature. Located in a secluded forest, on a beautiful environmentally protected private lake.

This cabin ( #959120) is one of three lake front cabins (#953628, and #1180846) located at "The Cabins At Lows Lake" near Emily, MN.

A great place to relax, swim , fish , hunt, ice fishing, snowmobiling and more. The lake offers good fishing for large northern pike, bass, crappies and sunfish.

Near hunting areas and snowmobile trails.

This one bedroom cabin is perfect for one to two people. You can bring a small child who can sleep on the pull out in the living room. But not perfect for more then two adults and two small children.

We completely clean and sterilize all our cabins with organic products. We wash all our linens, towel, blankets and kitchen towels after each rental. So when you arrive you have a fresh bed and towels.

The bedroom has a full-sized bed with walk-in bathroom and shower. Living room - dining room area based around a wood-burning stove, and overlooks the lake. The living room has pull out couch that can serve as an additional bed.

There are two decks. One overlooks the lake and the other overlooks the woods.

We provide towels, linens, pillows and blankets. Organic shampoo, conditioner and soaps.

On request and additional fee, we can provide a pack and play - play pen and highchair for your child. Cleaned and sterilized.

This cabin is located feet's away from beautiful Lows Lake. Rowboat, canoes and kayak available for use at no additional charge. Stand-up paddle boards, and electric trolling motor for rowboats available for rent at extra charge. Limited fishing tackle also available for rent.

You have an outdoor table, gas grill and private fire pit. There is a dock on the property. There are outdoor games to enjoy. Fish cleaning area.

There is no boat landing at the resort and no public boat landing on the lake. No power boats are allowed, but just miles away you will find several lakes you can put your private boat in. This seems to be a pattern with a lot of our guests.

- "We enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was just the right size for two adults (the double bed was a bit cozier than we are used to, but we slept well each night). Quiet and calm was what we were looking for and we found it here." - "I wish I was back already. I could stay there forever! I primarily choose this cabin for distance from where I live (twin cities), cost and semi-isolation for my reactive dog. My friend and I rented this for a weekend getaway and this place and Deb (owner) are above and beyond our expectations. We had the 1 bedroom cabin which was perfect (and I could see myself living in something similar when I'm older) which had a pull out sofa bed so it was great for us two. Deb provides way more than the "basics" for cooking which we actually than overpacked for ourselves. Having the canoes and kayaks available was perfect for the super quiet lake. My dog got to enjoy being a dog with minimal triggers and even when she barked Deb said they didn't mind and understood which put me at ease. Deb would even check on us when she was us out and about to see if everything was working or to our liking which everything was above and beyond our liking. I honestly felt so refreshed from our weekend there and wish I could say there forever. Deb and her husband are perfect hosts and have this perfect slice of heaven. Overall- amazing weather, amazing cabin, and amazing neighboring cabin, and amazing hosts. I will definitely be returning many times over the next years and will definitely have to go check out the winter time also."

Holiday weeks are a 6 night minimum. 2018 Lund fishing Boat and 2 dune buggies included. Atv license required if born after July 1st 1987 . Full tank of gas included in all machines . 2 bars walking distance. Firewood , smoker , BB gun , some fishing gear ,breakfast , s’mores and more included . 2 bars on the lake. Cabin is one block off lake.

- "We came up from Chicago and the drive was totally worth it to unwind for the week. The property was perfect and so quiet. Our lab absolutely loved running around and enjoying all the sniffs and sticks he could find. We enjoyed the bonfire one night. We took the boat our multiple times and the atv’s were awesome. Definetly let Chris take you out for a tour of the area. The next time we went the map on our cell phone helped us not get lost. The bonus of a washer and dryer was helpful after our atv rides and Chris leaves you detergent which is a plus. Chris checked in with us each day and gave us options of what to do in the area and made sure we had everything we needed. He left us eggs , bacon and other supplies to make s’mores ! My husband made ribs on a smoker that was there and they were great. Overall we loved our trip and will definetly be back in the future. There is a grocery store about 10 minutes away although we did bring a cooler of some meats we had at home. If you want to relax and chill and zone out and be comfortable this is the place to be. There is cell service along with wifi. Chris thank you for being so accommodating and letting us have an amazing vacation. Hawk is still sleeping it off!"
