Come out and enjoy some peace and quiet and get away from it all! Enjoy the sunrises and sunsets on beautiful Lake Waukenabo! We're located two hours north of the twin cities in the beautiful lakes and woods area of Palisade, Mn. The town of Palisade is an 8 mile drive away where you can find gas stations for fueling up ATV's, a couple of restaurants/bars for a bite to eat or a drink, a city park for the kids to play or picnic, and a church to attend a service. The resort itself has two docks for you to throw out a line or dock your boat. We also offer free use of a 14’ Lund fishing row boat, life vests, kayaks, canoes, and a paddle boat for some recreational fun. Lake Waukenabo is connected to tiny West Lake by boat and if you're feeling adventurous you can kayak or canoe through a channel to Sitas Lake. You can fish for Northern pike, walleye, perch, crappie, sunfish, bluegill, or bass and we have a screened in fish cleaning house for your catch of the day. We have a playground, sandbox, and tree house for the kids. Many families like to bring their bikes to take a stroll along the lake. There is a private fire pit with a removable food grate or a gas grill for your use. We have firewood available so you can sit by the fire and enjoy a quiet evening on the lake! Feel free to bring the ATV's as we're near thousands of acres of state forest and ATV trails. The closest bigger town is Grand Rapids and it's a 35 minute drive north. We do not have a swimming beach, but many kids just swim off the docks. If you want a swimming beach, round lake has one down the road. Your cabin (The Knotty Pine) has been newly remodeled with all new pine tongue and groove interior, custom kitchen cabinets and counter tops, new fixtures, new windows, new bathroom, new furnishings, ice cold AC, and new everything for that comforting "Up North" feel. The cabin has two separate bedrooms with a bathroom in between. Towels are provided. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other a full. The living room has a sleeper sofa and a recliner. We have Dish Network for TV and free fiber optic powered Wi-Fi. Our family has been in the resort hospitality business since 1958 and we take great pride in the services we provide. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms small but clean and the kitchen well stocked. The bedrooms have walls but are open at the ceiling for airflow. Swans Nest Cabin is an adorable, cozy one bedroom, perfect for enjoying nature. Located in a secluded forest, on a beautiful environmentally protected private lake.

This cabin ( #959120) is one of three lake front cabins (#953628, and #1180846) located at "The Cabins At Lows Lake" near Emily, MN.

A great place to relax, swim , fish , hunt, ice fishing, snowmobiling and more. The lake offers good fishing for large northern pike, bass, crappies and sunfish.

Near hunting areas and snowmobile trails.

This one bedroom cabin is perfect for one to two people. You can bring a small child who can sleep on the pull out in the living room. But not perfect for more then two adults and two small children.

We completely clean and sterilize all our cabins with organic products. We wash all our linens, towel, blankets and kitchen towels after each rental. So when you arrive you have a fresh bed and towels.

The bedroom has a full-sized bed with walk-in bathroom and shower. Living room - dining room area based around a wood-burning stove, and overlooks the lake. The living room has pull out couch that can serve as an additional bed.

You have an outdoor table, gas grill and private fire pit. There is a dock on the property. There are outdoor games to enjoy. Fish cleaning area.

There is no boat landing at the resort and no public boat landing on the lake. No power boats are allowed, but just miles away you will find several lakes you can put your private boat in. This seems to be a pattern with a lot of our guests.

My friend and I rented this for a weekend getaway and this place and Deb (owner) are above and beyond our expectations. Deb provides way more than the "basics" for cooking which we actually than overpacked for ourselves. Having the canoes and kayaks available was perfect for the super quiet lake. My dog got to enjoy being a dog with minimal triggers and even when she barked Deb said they didn't mind and understood which put me at ease. Deb would even check on us when she was us out and about to see if everything was working or to our liking which everything was above and beyond our liking. I honestly felt so refreshed from our weekend there and wish I could say there forever. Deb and her husband are perfect hosts and have this perfect slice of heaven. Overall- amazing weather, amazing cabin, and amazing neighboring cabin, and amazing hosts. I will definitely be returning many times over the next years and will definitely have to go check out the winter time also."

- "We came up from Chicago and the drive was totally worth it to unwind for the week. The property was perfect and so quiet. Our lab absolutely loved running around and enjoying all the sniffs and sticks he could find. We enjoyed the bonfire one night. We took the boat our multiple times and the atv’s were awesome. Definetly let Chris take you out for a tour of the area. The next time we went the map on our cell phone helped us not get lost. The bonus of a washer and dryer was helpful after our atv rides and Chris leaves you detergent which is a plus. Chris checked in with us each day and gave us options of what to do in the area and made sure we had everything we needed. He left us eggs , bacon and other supplies to make s’mores ! My husband made ribs on a smoker that was there and they were great. Overall we loved our trip and will definetly be back in the future. There is a grocery store about 10 minutes away although we did bring a cooler of some meats we had at home. If you want to relax and chill and zone out and be comfortable this is the place to be. There is cell service along with wifi. Chris thank you for being so accommodating and letting us have an amazing vacation. Hawk is still sleeping it off!"

Welcome to our second and largest cabin, The Up North. Enjoy the sunrises and sunsets off the deck that's less than 50ft from beautiful Lake Waukenabo! We're located two hours north of the twin cities in the beautiful lakes and woods area of Palisade, Mn. The town of Palisade is an 8 mile drive away where you can find gas stations for fueling up ATV's, a couple of restaurants/bars for a bite to eat or a drink, a city park for the kids to play or picnic, and a church to attend a service. The resort itself has two docks for you to throw out a line or dock your boat. We also offer free use of a 14’ Lund fishing row boat, life vests, kayaks, canoes, and a paddle boat for some recreational fun. Lake Waukenabo is connected to tiny West Lake by boat and if you're feeling adventurous you can kayak or canoe through a channel to Sitas Lake. You can fish for Northern pike, walleye, perch, crappie, sunfish, bluegill, or bass and we have a screened in fish cleaning house for your catch of the day. We have a playground, sandbox, and tree house for the kids. Many families like to bring their bikes to take a stroll along the lake. There is a private fire pit with a removable food grate or a gas grill for your use. We have wood available so you can sit by the fire and enjoy a quiet evening on the lake! Feel free to bring the ATV's as we're near thousands of acres of state forest and ATV trails. The closest bigger town is Grand Rapids and it's a 35 minute drive north. We do not have a swimming beach, but many kids just swim off the docks. If you want a swimming beach, round lake has one down the road. Your cabin (The Up North) has been remodeled with all new pine trim, new vinyl plank flooring, new interior paint, new furnishings, ice cold central AC, and many more things for that comforting "Up North" feel. The cabin has two separate bedrooms with a large bathroom. Towels are provided. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other a full. The living room has a sleeper sofa and a recliner. We have Dish Network for TV and free fiber optic powered Wi-Fi. Our family has been in the resort hospitality business since 1958 and we take great pride in the services we provide. While the pontoon looks well used, it was equipped, reliable and fun, and a pontoon is an amenity that is rare, We caught many sunfish every afternoon right around the corner from the house. The owners were good at communicating, available and documented the rules and processes of the house very well. We had a great time and would rent there again, thanks to the owners for hosting us."

Fishing enthusiasts and thrill seekers of water recreation will not be disappointed by Hill Lake’s grand 794 acres to explore! The condo includes its own boat slip on the property’s private doc so bring your water toys and enjoy! The boat launch is a quick 5 minute drive from the property. Trailer parking is available in designated areas. Golf shores has its own sandy beach, volleyball court, and huge fire pit for all to enjoy! A word of caution: summertime produces weeds in the swimming area but Hill City has a public beach and swimming area on Hill Lake. If you prefer land activities, don’t hesitate to bring your land toys so you can explore the 100s of miles of near-by hiking, ATV, snowmobile & cross country ski trails. If you love golf, Quadna Hills Golf course is an affordable 9-hole course that is adjacent to the property (seasonal). Since we are open year around, ice fishing and hunters are welcome and will enjoy warming up after a long day in the hot tub or sauna.

- "This was a great place to stay. We had 6 people and 1 in a wheelchair for this stay. We were able to get the wheelchair into the unit with no problems. Note that a wheelchair can not fit in the bathrooms which we knew ahead of time, but that wasn't a problem for us. Very clean, spacious rooms. The deck has a great view of the lake. We enjoyed swimming in the lake and the hot tub on site. Next time we are in the area we would definitely stay here again. The hosts were very quick to answer our questions before our stay. "

- "Our family loved this place so much we asked to stay another night, which we were able to, the property manager was always easy to get ahold of and extremely nice, we loved how it felt like home away from home, the cabin was perfect and the new windows made such a beautiful view, loved that we could watch the kids play right from the window inside. - "It is an old cabin/house that is a bit run down. Our biggest issue was the super intense musty smell. We were also disappointed with the quality of the bedding and towels (which only 2 were left for our group of 4). It's a really steep price tag for a property like this and I would never use the word serene to describe it. The owners were easy to work with, but we were glad we only had to be there to sleep. The fridge was also dirty and the owners left some of their stuff in there which added to our feeling that this is a property mostly used by the owners and rarely rented. Due to the smell, we would not stay there again."

Come escape to the privacy and calm of our 40 acre northwoods a-frame on the Little Pine River. Explore MN's outdoors and get away from it all. Our A-frame is in a secluded area, located at the end of a dirt road. 4x4 vehicles are recommended in the winter time. We do not spray for mosquitoes to maintain the natural environment, please bring bug spray if you prefer.

Looking for a place that has it all? Look no further!! This completely remodeled 2 bedroom condo just steps from the golf course has everything you can imagine! Quadna resort offers a beautiful 9 hole golf course, outdoor pool, easy access to Hill Lake, easy access to hundreds of miles of atv and snowmobile trails, and so much more ! Hill lake is a 900+ acre lake that is known for its great fishing, and is perfect for all your water fun activities!!

The space
The condo offers plenty of room for the whole family! Completely remodeled with nice modern farmhouse finishes! The kitchen offers stainless steel appliances, subway backsplash, new countertops, and gold hardware with a breakfast bar that seats 4! The dining area also has a table that seats an additional 4!

The living room offers a propane fireplace to keep you warm, a coffee bar with multiple different flavors of coffee, a 75” tv perfect for watching sports games or a family movie! (Twin size roll away bed with memory foam mattress, and a queen size air mattress for additional sleeping)

Bedroom #1 offers stunning views of hole #1 with a queen size mattress, 58” tv, night stands and lamps! It also offers a large sliding door where you can walk out to the large deck and have your morning coffee with some of the best views of the golf course!

Bedroom #2/bunk room welcomes you with a sliding barn door, full size bunk bed, side table, 40” tv, and memory foam mattresses! Bunk room does not have window.

The bathroom offers a beautifully tiled walk-in shower, an extra large vanity plenty of space to get ready, and has all your needed accessories!

The deck is perfect for entertaining and has plenty of seating for everyone! A propane firepit, 65” smart tv, and just 8 steps down to the golf course! Plenty of yard space for all your outdoor games, steps from a community wood fire pit (wood available for purchase) and an old boardwalk leading to Hill Lake where you can sit and enjoy, fish, and even drop a kayak or canoe!

Interaction with guests:
I will always be available if guests have questions, and am only 10 miles if guests need something

All properties managed by us have code locks for the doors, so there is no need to spend your time waiting to check-in at any front-desk. All access codes will be sent to you on the day of check in by 3pm.

Our location is privately owned and rented by individual host (please treat it like it's your own), all questions or requests must be made by contacting us as we are providing guest services. Any front desks operating in, or near, these locations will not have your information and will be unable to assist you with your stay.

The bedrooms don’t have closets, however we have a front entry closet that fits plenty of clothes.

Had a lot of fun, definitely recommend!" - "We took our 2 teenage Grandchildren here to go snowmobiling. It was what they wanted for Christmas... (really!). The condo was perfect. There was a lot of living space so we never felt cramped. 100s of TV choices so we could catch a couple movies. The unit was very nicely updated and Eric left us lots of treats and snacks. Which was great! We did have 2 teens with and they ate a lot. The resort is kind of abandoned, but we didn't expect anything so no big deal, just a shame for such a nice spot to be unused. We had a lot of good communication back and forth with Eric since I just started doing a VRBO with my own cabin. It was fun to compare notes. This was a great stay, we will come back and stay again!"
