The Clubhouse at True North has 2 bedrooms /2 bathrooms and a full kitchen, living room & deck. It shares a 5-acre wooded lot with the 1 bedroom /1 bathroom "Little Cabin" (rented separately) and private tennis court, outdoor sauna & hot tub, stretching/exercise room, & wooded walking trail. One bed is king-sized, one is a full. Plus there's a futon in the living room. A one-room bunk house (3 bunks) available to rent, too. Downtown Nisswa & Paul Bunyan Trail just 1 mile away. DOG FRIENDLY! The house is professionally cleaned between every reservation.

This is a special place we call the Clubhouse -- it's all one floor (no stairs!) and it's great for families with kids or pets ($75 pet fee), business travelers, or a weekend getaway with friends.

The hot tub and sauna are on a deck off the back, and a new tennis court was completed in the summer of 2018 (all of which are shared with any guests in the other cabin).

For larger groups, we have two options:

1). The "Little Cabin" on the property is available to rent, as well, that sits about 100 feet from the Clubhouse. It's a full cabin with 1 bd/1ba, kitchen, living room and porch and is available on a separate Airbnb posting under "Cozy Cabin" in Nisswa.
2). The "Bunk House" on the property is a three-season, one-room building (about 12'x14') that has three bunks. It has baseboard electricity/heat, but no plumbing, and will be available during Spring, Summer and Fall (basically April through October, depending on weather). There's not a separate Airbnb listing for this, so if you're interested, please message me.

You'll have access to the full house, as well as share access to the adjoining exercise/stretching studio, outdoor sauna and hot tub, tennis court, and walking trail with any guests staying at the Little Cabin on the same property.

My property manger Adam will be available for any emergencies (heating/cooling not working, sceptic is backup, etc.). Beyond that, either my Dad or I will be available to help via talk or text throughout the stay.

Our place is in the Roy Lake Heights neighborhood on Roy Lake. There are some incredible year-round homes, as well as seasonal cabins...and is one of the closest streets to downtown Nisswa (less than a mile) that's on the Gull Lake chain. Downtown Nisswa has unique shops and fun places to eat (like Raffertys, A&W, Ye Olde Pickel Factory, Big Axe micro-brewery, Adirondack coffee and others). Winter hours for most places are a little scaled back, but summer hours are wide open. Grocery shopping is best at Schafer's (about 5-7 min drive) or you can go to Super Valu in Pequot Lakes (about 7-8 minute drive). Other great places to eat or visit in the area that are 5-15 minute drive like Grandview Lodge, the Pines Golf Course, Zorbaz, Bar Harbor Supper Club, Lost Lake Lodge, Sherwood Forest and a bunch of others. Craguns, Maddens and other resorts on Gull Lake with pools, tennis, golf, etc. are about a 20 minute drive on the west/south shores of Gull Lake.

There's plenty of parking on the property...when you look at the diagram uploaded in photos, guests for the Clubhouse use Parking area #1.

A reminder that some of the amenities are shared with guests (if any) who might be staying in the other build (the "Little Cabin") on the property. These include the items that are located AT the Clubhouse -- the outdoor hot tub and sauna on the deck in the back, as well as the exercise/stretching room attached to the Clubhouse. Also shared is the 1/4 mile walking trail in the woods, the tennis court and the fire pit.
- Fire pit in the yard can be used, but guests are responsible for securing burn permit, if needed.
- NO GUNS, NO FIREARMS and NO WEAPONS of any kind allowed on the premises.

Enjoy our 1 bedroom /1 bathroom "Little Cabin" at True North! This is an old hunters cabin, we think it's from the 50's or 60's but we're not sure. It heats using heating oil, and has electric baseboards, too.

You'll have the entire cabin to yourself! You'll share the tennis court, trail, hot tub, sauna and exercise/stretching room with any guests staying over at the Clubhouse (which is where those amenities are located). The Clubhouse is a 2 bed / 2 bath building that's available to rent separately from -- or together with -- this cabin.

The cabin is very private, with a wooded driveway. Beautiful lake cabin with nice wide dock, perfect for lounging or launching. There are 2 kayaks available for you to use as well as 1 canoe (NOT a lake to swim or fish in). The property is located right on the Paul Bunyan Trail, so it is great for biking, walking, snowmobiling and other outdoor activities. It offers beautiful views and wildlife is abundant. We have deer, swans, geese, turtles, eagles and much more! The yard is level and large enough to play games. At night, come sit with your friends and family around the camp fire, listen to the loons and gaze up at the stars!

There is no beach on Lone Lake keeping with the natural serenity of the surroundings. The property backs up to Fritz Loven park with miles of hiking trails and cross country skiing right in the backyard. The lake is perfect for swimming, and paddle boarding in the summer, or skating, and cross country skiing in the winter. Some of the best snowmobiling trails in the country are located just a few miles away with access right outside the lodge driveway. There is plenty of room for sled trailers in the parking area of the lodge.

Fall at the lodge offers all the beauty of the colorful Minnesota landscape right in the backyard with the birch, and pine trees showcasing their changing colors overlooking the majestic acreage surrounding the water.

Lone Lake does not have public water access, and is non motorized making it your private, quite, water retreat! All you will hear are the call of the loons, swans and geese in the morning and the visits from the many wildlife that do venture into the back yard on occasion. At night, the northern lights have been known to make an appearance, and a celestial concert in the sky can be seen most nights featuring all the stars, planets and satellites seen with the naked eye.

The lodge is located a 1/4 mile from the Gull Lake boat launch near Zorbaz. For those who may want to venture out on Gull Lake, 2 boat rental companies (Gull Lake Marina, Lake fun Rentals) are available across the street from the launch. There are also a few public beaches and many restaurants along the shores of Gull Lake. A few miles down the road is “Ski Gull” open year round featuring skiing, snowboarding and tubing in the winter and zip lining and mountain biking in the summer. Amazing golf courses and mini golf for all abilities are also just minutes away. The quaint town of Nisswa is 2 miles away and will fulfill desires the any shopping enthusiasts. A fully stocked grocery and liquor store is a quick drive down the road making this property the perfect year round family vacation get away!!

All Summer rentals are a 4 night minimum stay with holiday’s being slightly higher per night / 4 night minimum. 3 day rentals may be approved are upon request. 2 night minimum during the off season.

Campers, motorhomes or RV type vehicles are not allowed to be parked in the driveway or used for additional guests. A maximum of 8 guests is allowed.
Hunting or shooting of any kind on any of the surrounding property is strictly prohibited. Smoking of any kind also is prohibited in or around the lodge with the exception of the fire pit area. Fines may be accessed on any of the above infractions.

Beautiful, newly remodeled 1 bedroom, 3/4 bath cabin with a loft and screened in porch located directly on the north side of Gladstone Lake. With the loft, the cabin sleeps 7 comfortably. The cabin is situated 30 ft from the lake. It is an easy walk with a gradual slope down to the sandy beach. Enjoy gorgeous, breath taking sunsets in the evening. The cabin is located in the heart of the beautiful and historical Brainerd Lakes Area. The cabin is just minutes south of Nisswa but only 10 miles north of Brainerd.

Gladstone lake has a sandy bottom to swim, tube, water ski, or relax and enjoy. No muck on the bottom. Enjoy fishing and lakeside campfires or just relaxing in the screened in porch. Practice your golf game at the cabin with a one-hole coarse. Fairway with a dog leg to the right. Or practice your chipping, before heading to one of many gorgeous and well known golf courses. The Nisswa and Brainerd area are known for the fine dining, shopping and many activities for kids of all ages. There are over 15 well known golf courses within 20 minutes of the cabin. There are several activities for the kids to enjoy while mom or dad are golfing. Beside swimming at the cabin, head into Brainerd where the kids can drive the go-carts, play mini golf, rent out the batting cages, and participate in the famous Turtle Races that are held every Wednesday at noon during the Summer months. The Cabin is also located just off the Bike Trail that goes from Brainerd to Pequot Lakes. Games on the property for use and entertainment include, croquet, bocce ball, badminton, bean bag toss, tubes for relaxing in the lake or tubing behind a boat. Also a swing set with climbing wall, swings, slide. Inside activities include, 5 different game boards, cribbage board, deck of cards, yahtzee.

The cabin has a fully functional kitchen with all new and modern appliances. Sorry no dishwasher. It is fully stocked with all the kitchen essentials; all you need to do is provide the food! The floor plan includes an open living room. The master bedroom is located on the main level and the loft has three single beds in it. The cabin does come with the essential bedding for each bed. I also provide bath towels, wash clothes to be used inside the house. I do have a 55in TV in the living room and a 42in TV in the loft entertainment area. Both are hooked up to cable. There is a regular DVD player provided as well. Bring your own PS4 or Xbox. The cabin has a wall A/C unit downstairs in the living room and one in the loft. Along with a grill, right outside the front door. The guest will have access to the full cabin. Beautiful property with over 4 1/2 acres of land. 220 ft of lake shore. You will also be able to get into the storage unit for all outside games, life jackets, etc.

The loft is multi-level that includes a 12' x 12' entrainment room for the kids. There is a secluded hidden play room for the kids to make into their vacation fort. There is a Kayaks to use on the property. Bring your own boat or you can rent mine. I have a boat lift at the dock for rent during your stay as well. The boat has a 25 hp motor, live well, and removable seats. Also have a pontoon to rent. It is a fish and pleasure pontoon. 21 ft. pontoon with a 60 hp, 4stroke motor, holds 12 people, fish locator, life jackets. All you need is fishing pole or have a relaxing time on the lake cruising around. Please call for additional pricing details on the boat lift, fishing boat, two jet ski's or pontoon.

This updated property is located on the West Shore of Lake Edward. Breathtaking lake views, perfect for watching the kids swim off the huge dock from anywhere in the house. There are two large bedrooms with a queen bed in each. A smaller room has a twin bed or could be used as an office. An attached converted garage provides a 2nd living/sleeping area with a queen bed, twin bed, pullout sofa, recliner and tv.

The house features are large dock that can easily host your entire family while you swim, fish, read, sunbath, and nature watch. The house is situated right off County Road 4, which is a fairly busy road, but lakeside is private and quiet. It's just 10 minutes from downtown Nisswa, 9 minutes from Breezy Point, 13 minutes from Gull Lake locations such as Grand View Resort and Zorbaz on Gull. We also have a detached garage that we’ve filled with yard games, 2 paddle boards, a ping-pong table, kayak, floaties for the lake for you to use for entertainment.
A gas grill on the patio off the main living area is easy for grilling and plenty of seating for alfresco dining and relaxing around the firepit.
We provide freshly washed linens, pillows, bedspreads, and bath towels.

The Cottage is the perfect place to unplug and unwind. This comfortable cabin/house sits on a 2 acre wooded lot that provides privacy, relaxation and plenty of wildlife. 3.4 easy miles to Nisswa, 9 miles to Gull Lake, 19 to Crosslake MN and is easily accessible off of HWY 371. The cabin is great for a family vacation or girls/guys weekend. This is a very private location yet close to lakes, bike trails, rivers, shopping, restaurants, local breweries, and wineries. Outside fire pit(firewood provided), gas grill, back porch attached right off of the family room.

The cabin has 3 bedrooms, 2 living rooms and 2 full bathrooms. 1 king bed in master bedroom along with a TV, other 2 bedrooms have queen beds. There is an additional queen day bed in the family room area. Mini split air conditioning, in floor heat, kinetico water filtration system, gas fireplace in living room and wood burning fireplace in family room.

This is a garden home with all living spaces on one level with no stairs. Walkout to both front and back patios. The kitchen has all the dishes, pots, pans, and utensils you will need, a full-size fridge, dishwasher, electric stove, keurig coffee maker. Washer and Dryer available for your use. TV in the master bedroom, family and living room(Chromecast on all TVs), WIFI, DVD player.

The boat rental company we used was just a short distance away, so getting the boat to and from was very easy. We loved the fire pit, and enjoyed nice quiet evenings around the campfire. After you book your reservation, you will receive a booking confirmation email along with your reservation specific rental agreement, that needs to be e-signed and returned before your check-in date. 48-hours prior to your check-in date, you will be emailed your check-in information that includes critical information for your stay. We are happy to provide check-in information earlier than 48-hours upon request and returned signed rental agreement.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE:
We recognize that planning a trip can be stressful, so we want to ease your mind by breaking up the payments! If your booking is less than 120 days prior to check-in, the deposit will be 75% due at time of the booking instead of what's listed below. If booking within less than 60 days of your stay, payment is due in full at time of booking. We are also more than happy to accept payments in smaller increments if reservation follows traditional payment schedule that is shared below.

Security Fee: In lieu of a security deposit (with exception), we provide up to $3,000 of damage protection for $79 plus taxes. This VRD fee is required and non-refundable. This plan covers unintentional damages to the rental unit interior that occur during the renter's stay, provided they are disclosed to management prior to check-out. Any damages that exceed $3,000 plus applicable fees will be charge to the credit card on file.

- "We really enjoyed it. Great proximity to the lake, and really comfortable for the five of us. The only suggestion is to either push up the check in time or push back the check out time. Having a 4pm check in, combined with a 10am check out, essentially wipes out a full day that could be enjoyed on the lake on either end. Exiting guests are asked to strip the beds, do the dishes, etc., so it seems like a 6 hour window is excessive for cleaning. Other than that, it was a great stay, and we'll probably be back."

We are offering for rent our 3 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom very private west facing cabin and guest cabin on Roy Lake in Nisswa MN. Roy is a very clean and beautiful 350 acres lake and is part of the 15,000 acre Gull Lake Chain for endless boating and fun! This is the perfect property for families offering a completely remodeled & air conditioned property with a main floor Queen bedroom and bathroom. The upstairs offers a lake view loft with a full size futon leading to a large bedroom offering 2 queen beds and a full private bath. 10 feet from the main cabin you will find the guest cabin, also remodeled & air conditioned with a TV/living area area, single bunk beds, a queen bed in the living area and a private queen bedroom and another full bath. The outside gives you a mix of sun and shade, new large lakeside deck and lots of seating room around the fire-pit. There is a sand shoreline, swimming raft, dock, kayak, canoe and paddle boat available for your use. Located in a very nice bay facing west for great sunsets and extended afternoons. Our neighbors are full time retired residents so we really cater to families and those who will have fun and enjoy the property but not intrude on their relaxation either. Catch fish right off the dock while you visit with family and watch the kids swim!

Work remotely from Merrifield with our High Speed WiFi (300 mbps), your boss said it’s ok….or enjoy the lake ALL DAY with complementary kayaks and SUP in the summer, launch your boat just down the road and park it at the dock. Additional water toys and sand toys are in the shed for your family to enjoy. Relax at the lake with the family or just a couple of friends with your favorite beverage and take in the Minnesota sunsets while listening to the amazing loons. The night wouldn’t be right if you didn’t wrap it up with a crackling fire and s’mores!

On the main level Sunset Vista Cottage features a large updated kitchen with granite and new appliances and all the cooking utensils you’ll need; a bar top height table for two with a view in the kitchen; a large oak dining table for the crew; a wine fridge; Kuerig coffee maker; washer and dryer; master bedroom with tv and en suite bath; walk in closet; a pack n play for your little one; air conditioning; and a gas grill.

In the walkout basement we have a second bedroom (queen bed); a full bath; 65” inch flat screen with Netflix included; WiFi; and a pullout sleeper sofa along with a bunk bed for the kids for extra sleeping space; a record player with some old and new vinyl tucked away in the bedroom closet; and plenty of games for the kids.

Down by the lake we have a fire pit and plenty of chairs, a picnic table, and of course a hammock for an afternoon nap. We have a nice little sand beach for the kids to play in and to just hang out and catch some rays. We have two kayaks and a SUP along with a shed full of beach toys and some fishing gear you are free to use. We have a nice shallow shore line which is great for the kiddos swimming, however if the water drops a little bit, docking the boat can be a challenge. In 2023 we are going to add a few sections of dock which should help with this. Fishing is pretty good here. You’ll find all the panfish you need for the kids to catch ‘em all day long about 100 yards off the dock. Rumor has it there is some good bass and walleye fishing too.. ;-)

- "Wonderful place to stay." - "Janet was easy to communicate with and very responsive. The water toys were an added benefit and the house was great for two couples to have gathering space as well as space to ourselves. Very clean and great access to the Paul Bunyan trail for biking." - "This property was wonderful for my family of 5 and parents. It had everything we could possibly need and more. We especially appreciated the pack n play and high chair for our 2 year old. Our kids enjoyed the sand toys, hammock, kayaks and toys in the lower level. The water is very shallow and clear which for our family was great. We didn’t have to worry about the kids getting into too deep of water while they played. We visited Nisswa twice which was a short 15 min drive away. Cute Main Street with shops, restaurants and The Chocolate Ox for candy/ice cream. Yum! Our *only* complaint was the house was very warm. We had great weather all weekend but the AC was clearly not working which by evening the house temp was over 80 degrees. There were multiple fans in the house which helped but we would’ve appreciated a screen on the upper level bedroom window to cool off the room at night. A screen on the front door would also have helped get a nice cross breeze in the house. We had to keep these closed to not allow bugs inside. All in all it was a relaxing Memorial Weekend and we hope to return again in the future!"

The cabin also provides convenient access to several lakes, including Lower Cullen, West Twin Lake, Nisswa Lake, Lake Hubert, Round Lake, and Gull Lake. The Paul Bunyan Trail, located just 1.5 miles away, is a 120-mile multi-use recreational trail connecting the Heartland Trail, Blue Ox Trail, and Cuyuna State Trail. This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home accommodates up to six guests. The large master bedroom boasts a king sized bed, en-suite bathroom and large soaking tub. The second bedroom has two XL queen size bunks. The rental includes essential amenities such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, hairdryers, a washer and dryer with detergent, dishwashing detergent, and a variety of k-cups for the Keurig, including coffee, hot chocolate, and tea. If there is anything else you need, feel free to ask. The minimum stay for this rental is three nights. For security purposes, there is a motion-activated Ring camera installed on the exterior of the garage, monitoring the driveway.

There are also multiple fishing guides in the area to schedule a guided fishing tour.

Vermilion Pines is a small, cozy, rustic, single room, three-season cabin nestled at the edge of the woods in Nisswa, MN. It's only minutes away from the iconic downtown, fishing, golf and bike trail.

Vermilion Pines is inspired by the summer camp where we fell in love. It lives somewhere between glamping and tiny home living.

The cabin features an outhouse with a hot shower, an outdoor kitchen, and running water nearby. A trundle bed is available for guest number two.

Vermilion Pines is a small single room cabin. It's about 120 square feet in size. It has a twin day bed and a twin trundle bed. The trundle bed takes up most of the floor space when in use, so be prepared to have your roommate climb over you and/or push the bed back in the AM.

The guest-loved outhouse has an on-demand hot water shower, which the guest connects by hose. The temperature can be inconsistent, depending on the water pressure you choose. It is not a typical outhouse toilet. There is a bucket with a trash bag under the toilet seat. It is emptied between each guest. This provides a fresh start for all.

There is a private deck in our shared yard space. It's ideal for late night or early morning sipping.

There is an outdoor kitchen consisting of a classic Coleman stove, water basin, counter space and drying rack. There is no indoor kitchen or plumbing.

Hot water can be brewed in the kettle, or taken from the shower. Cold water can be taken from the spigot on the side of our house.

There is a private parking spot and path that leads to the cabin and outhouse. This creates a bit of a privacy barrier. Our house is about 50 feet from the cabin. The cabin is windowless on the house/yard side, adding more privacy.

We have a shared access fire pit. We may join you if you have a fire, and you are welcome to join us if we have a fire. If we see you outside, we will probably say a friendly hello.

We have a cat named Medli who loves to live outside in the summer. You will most likely meet her. If you leave the door open she will push through the screen barrier and join you in the cabin.

Vermilion Pines is pet friendly! Please crate your pet if you leave them alone in the cabin and clean up after them in the yard.

This cabin is in nature. We had our first bear incident in five years this spring (went through our trash). One time when we were staying in it, we woke up to two deer outside the window. There have been woodchucks and turkeys hanging out, too. And yes, there are bugs, but the mosquitoes are less populous here due to our sandy terrain.

As you know, our slogan is "For those a bit adventurous at heart". If our small cabin and unique outhouse set-up is not for you, we understand. Please find a listing that will work better for you. If you ARE feeling a bit adventurous, we cannot wait to host you!

Arcas Den is centrally located near the Paul Bunyan trail, Nisswa shops, and 10 minutes or less from 6 major lakes. This bedroom and movie room is perfect for any travel adventure. Active and retired military will receive a 10% discount.

The space
One bedroom located downstairs in the basement. You will have full use of wet bar, bathroom, and movie room. The shared spaces are the kitchen and the laundry room up stairs. There is no private access you have to walk in the front door and down the hallways a little ways to get to the stairs that lead down stairs. I do have children so there is a toy space in the basement that is out of your way and the children are not allowed to use while we are hosting if they are even home.

SHARED SPACE in Basement If you want to be close to town but feel like you’re out of town. Close to Brainerd International Raceway. But far enough away to enjoy the Brainerd Lakes area at the same time. Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. You may enjoy the entire lower level with TV room and private bathroom. Shared living upstairs. Two rooms downstairs. One had Queen and other had Queen and a double. Reserve one or both.

Enjoy our 1 bd/1 ba cabin! It has a full kitchen, screened porch, washer/dryer & shares a 4-acre wooded lot with the adjacent Clubhouse with a stretching/exercise room, outdoor hot tub & barrel sauna you can use. The lot has a private tennis court & 1/4 mile walking trail. Nice streets to walk or ride in the neighborhood, and downtown Nisswa and the Paul Bunyan Trail are a short 1 mile walk, bike ride or drive away. DOG FRIENDLY! The cabin is professionally cleaned between every reservation.

The space
This is an old hunters cabin, we think it's from the 50's or 60's but we're not sure. It heats using heating oil, and has electric baseboards, too.

Guest access
You'll have the entire cabin to yourself! You'll share the tennis court, trail, hot tub, sauna and exercise/stretching room with any guests staying over at the Clubhouse (which is where those amenities are located). The Clubhouse is a 2 bed / 2 bath building that's available to rent separately from -- or together with -- this cabin.

Other things to note
Check out the Nisswa Chamber of Commerce at Nisswa (dot) com for activities scheduled year round -- lots happening in the summer. But checkout winter activities, too, like the Fall Festival in September, Oktoberfest in October, Festival of Lights Thanksgiving weekend in November and other holiday stuff in December.

Recently remodeled small rustic 1940s summer cabin in the heart of Nisswa. If you’re into kayaking, swimming, biking, relaxing, or just looking for a great place to spend some time in the beautiful Nisswa area, this is a unique place that you must check out. Only a few minutes from downtown Nisswa and to the Paul Bunyan Trail. Nisswa shopping, Turtle races, the legendary Pickle Factory Bar, fantastic golf courses, great fishing, and many restaurants and breweries all just minutes away.

Great cabin for Spring, Summer, or Fall. Great for Families with kids to fish, play in the sand, swim, bike the Paul Bunyan Trail, and kayak/canoe/paddle board Clark Lake. Great level lot for all your favorite yard games. West facing to catch sunsets while tending to your bonfire. Great swimming in front of cabin and also at the sandbar at the end of Pine Point. Equipped with outdoor cooking gear and barbecue, you can stay in and cook or check out one of the many restaurants and breweries in the area.

Other things to note
This place is perfect for those who want to stay at a fun rustic cabin to take advantage of the area and the beautiful setting with a level, private lot and great sunsets. I would not recommend this place for people who may prefer a more modern accommodation. Nature will be present, chipmunks, rabbits, spiders, bugs, eagles, loons, etc. If you want a cabin and yard that has been sprayed with insecticide and other harmful toxic chemicals, then this is not the place to stay.

Come enjoy the Sunsets Vista on North Long Lake! Enjoy a morning stroll or bike ride on the Paul Bunyan Trail just out the front door! Recently renovated 2 bedroom 2 bath Vista. Our cabin is a quiet, rustic escape in the woods, ideal for those who love nature and the outdoors. Our Norway pines are inviting for local wildlife—curious deer occasionally wander through the property. Keep an eye on the nearby island, where bald eagles have a nest! The cabin is in the woods, so we suggest being comfortable in a natural environment. While we take steps to keep the cabin cozy and comfortable, to keep the critters outside where they belong, we recommend keeping doors closed, securing food, and disposing of trash properly during your stay.

The cabin does have neighbors on both sides, so you may see neighbors and others on the lake.

This log cabin is located between Nisswa and Pequot, far enough to have a quiet escape but close enough to enjoy all these towns have to offer.

Relax on beautiful North Long Lake at our Cozy Pine Cabin! North Long Lake has a beautiful sugar sand bottom and clear waters. We are located just a few miles from Nisswa, Brainerd, Baxter, Cross Lake and the Paul Bunyan Trail.. The Cozy Pine Cabin has a rustic feel where you can rest and relax after a day exploring the area.

The space
Extra towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner and hairdryer are in the chest of drawers in the hallway. Please do not take towels outside. Bring your own beach towels.
Garbage and recycling should be taken out if full. Bins are located in the garage.

Other things to note
Lots of sand toys, yard games, balls, etc are located in the little shed by the garage.
You can use our dock next door for boats or to get in/out of the water.
There are life jackets in the garage.
We have firewood cut and ready to use.
There is a place to clean fish on the side of the house on the well cover.

The Clubhouse has 2 bd/2 ba with a full kitchen, living room & deck. It shares a 4-acre wooded lot with a 1 bd/1 ba cabin (rented separately) and tennis court, outdoor sauna & hot tub, stretching/exercise room, & walking trail. One bed is king-sized, one is a full. Plus there's a futon in the living room. A one-room bunk house (3 bunks) available to rent, too. Downtown Nisswa & Paul Bunyan Trail just 1 mile away. DOG FRIENDLY! The house is professionally cleaned between every reservation.

The space
This is a special place we call the Clubhouse -- it's all one floor (no stairs!) and it's great for families with kids or pets ($75 pet fee), business travelers, or a weekend getaway with friends.

The hot tub and sauna are on a deck off the back, and a new tennis court was completed in the summer of 2018 (all of which are shared with any guests in the other cabin).

For larger groups, we have two options:

1). The "Little Cabin" on the property is available to rent, as well, that sits about 100 feet from the Clubhouse. It's a full cabin with 1 bd/1ba, kitchen, living room and porch and is available on a separate Airbnb posting under "Cozy Cabin" in Nisswa.
2). The "Bunk House" on the property is a three-season, one-room building (about 12'x14') that has three bunks. It has baseboard electricity/heat, but no plumbing, and will be available during Spring, Summer and Fall (basically April through October, depending on weather). There's not a separate Airbnb listing for this, so if you're interested, please message me.

Guest access
You'll have access to the full house, as well as share access to the adjoining exercise/stretching studio, outdoor sauna and hot tub, tennis court, and walking trail with any guests staying at the Little Cabin on the same property.

Other things to note
A reminder that some of the amenities are shared with guests (if any) who might be staying in the other build (the "Little Cabin") on the property. These include the items that are located AT the Clubhouse -- the outdoor hot tub and sauna on the deck in the back, as well as the exercise/stretching room attached to the Clubhouse. Also shared is the 1/4 mile walking trail in the woods, the tennis court and the fire pit.

The space
Lovely one bedroom, second floor apartment retreat for one or two people on Gull Lake. We are not set up for infants or babies. This is a spacious, private apartment that is part of our home. It is located in a vibrant summer neighborhood filled with many long-time family-owned summer cabins. You will have access to our sand beach with beach chairs. This is a perfect home-base for all your area adventures.

The apartment has its own private entrance with a keyless lock for self check-in, a chair lift, if mobility issues make climbing stairs an issue, air conditioning, washer, dryer, galley style kitchen with all appliances, a spacious bathroom with shower, and one bedroom with a queen sized bed. Vaulted ceilings and plentiful windows lend this apartment a light and airy feel. Wi-fi and tv with basic cable and Netflix is provided.

There is parking in a designated spot for one vehicle in our driveway.

We do not have room at our dock for a motorboat or for visitors with boats. There are two recreational kayaks available for your use. Feel free to bring your own paddle boards or kayaks. There are plenty of opportunities for a round of golf in the area. And don’t forget your bicycles for riding the nearby Paul Bunyan Trail or a leisurely 3 mile ride to downtown Nisswa on city roads where you will find a multitude of dining and shopping options. There is a grocery store a mile away and Grand View Lodge is right next door and has some public options for dining, golf, and more. We are not affiliated in any way with Grand View Lodge.

We live on site and can be found working in the yard, at the beach, or out on the water. We don’t allow pets though we have a friendly dog on premises and our neighbors also have dogs.

The privacy and comfort of our neighbors is of the utmost importance to us. That is why we ask that you respect the boundaries of our property, follow our quiet time rule of 10pm-7 am, have no campfires, and contact us immediately if you have any issues or concerns.

Because we are next door to a large resort, you will often hear noise and activities from the resort. This is part of living in a fun, busy neighborhood. Despite the proximity to the busy resort, we manage to maintain a pretty tranquil atmosphere on our property and that is how we like it.

This location is lovely in the busy summer months but because this is a year-round home, the apartment is also available at all other seasons. In the Fall, after the docks are removed it is especially peaceful. You can then walk the mile long sandy beach looking for agates, enjoy the Fall colors, and the sunsets and sunrises from our beach. Winter offers opportunities to cross country ski on the lake and on nearby ski trails, skate on the public rink in Nisswa or snowmobile and ice fish if you have the right gear.

Guest access
The apartment is for your private use. You are welcome to swim and sit at our beach and use two recreational kayaks.

As a ceramic artist and former graphics designer, with a partner, Musa, a front end developer and web designer, aesthetics are important to us. Our home is a virtual art gallery. Your bath, has a jetted tub, custom glass tile surround and granite countertop. Like to cook? The kitchen is fully equipped, and ready. All areas pictured are included in your stay.
We may be on-site during your visit. Our master bedroom, pottery studio and bath have a separate entrance.

The space
We have only been in my our home for 3years, but am enjoying it’s setting amidst 30-40’ red and white pine in the Pine Trails Development. (5 pine trees in the front yard.) Our home features privacy, with library, bath, bedroom, and openness, with kitchen, dining and living room space. Our home is located next to a mulched path leading to our dock on Clark Lake. You’re welcome to launch your kayak or canoe from the HOA dock there. There is a public launch for boats at the other end of the lake.

All areas of the home pictured are yours to use during your stay. Our master suite with bath, bedroom, studio, and garage are not pictured. I am in a separate wing of our home with separate access. Our home is a single story with no steps to gain access. We may or may not be on site.

Other things to note
My home is located next to a wooded path leading to Clark Lake. The HOA owns a dock with kayak and canoe access to the lake. It’s about 1/4 mile from my home. There is a public access for boat launching at the other end of the lake.
