Cottage home on the lake near downtown Stillwater. This little oasis is surrounded by trees and 400 feet of lakeshore. Enjoy a relaxing stay in this clean, cozy, retro-feel Stillwater home. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. Just two blocks from Stillwater’s historic downtown Main Street, and three blocks from the majestic St. Croix River.

Park your car right in the driveway and head out to see all Stillwater has to offer!

Just a short walk to many shops, pubs, and restaurants, as well as Pioneer Park, the downtown River Market (a local health and grocery store), movie rental, local farmer’s market on summer Saturdays, Teddy Bear Park, yoga classes, massage and spas.

Tackle any of the three sets of famous Stillwater stairways and enjoy panoramic views of downtown, the historic lift bridge, and the river. (Can you count the number of stairs?)

In town for a wedding? The 3rd Street Inn is directly across the street from the Stillwater Public Library, the Episcopal church of Ascension, and Trinity Lutheran church. It’s a great staging spot for the wedding party or guests.

Off-street parking available for four cars. On-street parking in front of house is legal as well.

Our 3rd Street Inn sleeps 9 people comfortably. Two bedrooms have new queen size beds and the other bedroom has a bunk bed with a twin over a full. The 4th bedroom is a pop up room with a queen size air mattress. The living room has a new queen sleeper sofa. Take a warm bath in the old fashioned claw foot bathtub, or a shower in our newly remolded lower level bathroom. Whip up some yummy meals in our fully stocked eat-in kitchen with stainless steel appliances & gas range. The dining room seats six without the leaves in the table. There are two leaves. Living room has a 40 inch TV with cable and Netflix. Hook up your iPod to the dock and enjoy your own playlist. We have on site laundry. A lovely back yard with patio furniture and table & chairs. There is a gas grill located on the back patio as well.

You are only a 30 minute drive from the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Why not take in a Twin's game, or go and see the new Guthrie Theater, which is architecturally breathtaking. Maybe your goal is to see the place where Mary Tyler Moore threw her hat into the air, or to go shopping at Woodbury Lakes or the Mall of America. From here, your options are limitless.

We hope during your stay that you create many fun and precious memories, and that you'll revisit us year after year. Our home is clean and comfortable, not super fancy. Our home has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and was originally built in 1890 and remodeled in 2004. Modern updates with character of an old house. It is conveniently located close to Highway 36 and easy to find.

There is an apartment above the detached garage that is occupied by the owners during the off season (fall through spring). We happily accept well-trained dogs in our home, the backyard is fenced in.

The Main Street Loft is a unique space with a mezzanine level, two bedrooms, and two living rooms. Located directly on Main St it gives you access to all that downtown Stillwater has to offer, right within walking distance! There's plenty of space, but it still feels cozy. A large bathroom with plenty of towels and basic shower supplies, and a full kitchen stocked with everything to prepare and serve a basic meal. Guests will be sure to have an amazing stay! Two porches on a large double lot with gardens, bird feeders, and plenty of outdoor seating. An artfully equipped and very comfortable home, it was owned by my Grandma! Non smoking property, organic and green cleaning practices. Main level : One bedroom with Queen size 'Casper' memory foam mattress, full bath, W&D, 2 porches living room & kitchen, Upper floor: 2 bedroom ( 1 room Queen size 'Casper' memory foam mattress & toddler bed, 1 room with two single beds) half bath, large common area. The house invites you to stay! The St. Croix River Valley offers some of the best cycling in the midwest. We have many lightly used paved roads to explore on either side of the river and the nearby Browns Creek Bike Trail.

Only one parking spot available in the driveway. Ring cameras are used on the front and back of the main house for safety. Upon booking acceptance, rental contract must be signed and a copy of driver's license provided.

Perfect if you need both to accommodate more guests, highly recommended! (The only area you are allowed to use on the roof is the pathway between the stairs and the door.) There's also no smoking of any kind allowed. The building, built in 1888, has gorgeous stone and brick walls, originally a warehouse, hard wood floors, renovated to 3 lofts in the late 80's early 90's, tons of character, perfect for vacation stays! We have undergone a complete restoration and renovation - bathrooms are new with stone and granite. Kitchens have high end stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Original floors, doors and woodwork are refinished. Each unit has a washer and dryer.
The yard is lovely, and we have outdoor tables and a grill.
Be sure to bring your bikes! We are located directly across the street from the 0 mile marker for the Brown's Creek Trail. If you haven't been on this trail, you are in for a treat! It meanders through the woods and bluffs, crossing the creek in a number of spots.
Our yard also abuts a set of the infamous "Laurel Street Steps" - a walk up these steps takes you directly into Pioneer Park, where the photo ops are amazing.
