Our 3700 square foot house rests comfortably with our small apple orchard. It is entirely on one level. We have a large family room in which to relax with family and friends. We also feature a LARGE table for your mealtime and entertaining needs. The kitchen is quite large and has all the appliances your should need during your stay. Our "porch" room contains a pool table for some of your entertainment needs. If you prefer a quieter space, the library might be a place for that. It also serves as an additional bedroom if you need it. The comfy sofa is also a queen sleeper. The house features 4 bedrooms. The master bedroom has an adjustable queen bed and a television. This bedroom also has the largest bathroom. It contains a walk in shower and small jacuzzi tub. We have 2 bedrooms that share a bath. The first room is cozy with a dresser and a queen bed. The second bedroom is our largest. It contains a queen sized bed and a bunk bed. The bunk bed is a full sized bottom bunk and a twin top. We have one other bedroom with a queen sized bed. It has it's own bathroom, and we call it cozy. It also has a television, but it is just used for old school dvd's. The house has wifi, so with your additional equipment, it could be used for streaming services.
Our property features a large yard for roaming and a small in-ground unheated pool. There is also a gazebo in the yard. We have 5 acres or apple trees that you are free to roam in along with 5 acres of pasture land that we are always adding growing things to. You are welcome to explore it all.
We are located on the south end of New Ulm, a small city recently named a top ten city to live in. The closest gas station and grocery store are 7 minutes away, but nestled in the Minnesota river valley, you will feel like you are miles away from everything.

There you can find everything from live music to German restaurants (Turner Hall and Kaiserhoff), or our Glockenspiel, one of the few free-standing carillon clock towers in the world! There are very steep stairs up to the unit and parking is a block and a half away. We didn’t use the kitchen other than the coffee pot but it was fully functioning with everything you could have needed. Bathroom was good. We appreciate the higher toilet. Towels were plentiful for our two night stay. We had no problem with hot water. Owner was easy to contact and door code worked fine. "

Located down town New Ulm. Enjoy easy access to local shopping, great restaurants, and beautiful parks from this perfectly located home base. Be aware this is an upstairs apartment. There are 24 steps up to it. We consider it your included workout for the day. While there is a sofa sleeper, it is older and not the most comfortable. It is there in a pinch.

The space
The apartment is downtown New Ulm. It is above one of our local laundromats. There is a 2nd apartment that shares the laundry room. It is comfortable and 5 minutes from most everything in town.

You will have the entire apartment to yourself. There is one off-street parking spot included with the apartment. You share the laundry room with the adjoining apartment.

My house is well located in a quiet residential area with Flandrau State Park and Nehl's Park a close 15 minute walk away. Schell's Brewery and Martin Luther College are also close at a 30 minute walk. The Bike trail passes right by the house, and our town is small, so downtown and everything else is only a short drive or bike away.

The space
The bedrooms have queen sized beds and get a lot of natural light. The main bathroom will be private to you during your stay. The bedrooms, living room, and kitchen are all on the main floor of the house, and the bedrooms are accessed through the main house entrances. The living room has a TV with some streaming apps available. The living room and kitchen areas are shared with the host, but guests can request private use of these areas if desired.

The home can sleep 8 adults very comfortably, but the nightly pricing is set for two occupants and additional guests are $30 per person. This allows you the option of staying in a fully furnished home at a reasonable rate whether your group is large or small.

There is plenty of space to spread out on the main level with a large 3 season porch and a separate living room which doubles as an office .
The sunny galley style kitchen features stainless steel appliances .
Feather pillows , blackout curtains and fluffy duvets ensure a good night's rest. There are 3 bedrooms, one on the main level with a queen bed, double closets and full bathroom off of the hallway. Upstairs you'll find two additional bedrooms, one is a master suite with double closets and 3/4 bath while the other bedroom has two full size beds and a half bath off of the hallway.
