This home is perfectly located on the Chain of Lakes and is a great option for a family vacation, reunion, girls weekend, couples retreat, or just a fun weekend getaway! The property is located at the south end of Budd Lake where you can enjoy beautiful sunset views from the patio or living room. There are so many activities and restaurants all within walking distance. Enjoy mini-golfing, swimming at the private sandy beach, walk over to the Channel Inn, and enjoy their famous “Channel Burger”, or play sand volleyball at the nearby Gomsrud Park. Whether you’re traveling with kids, family, or friends, this location has something for everyone.

This home is roughly 2,000 square ft. that offers a large family room with windows facing the lake that includes an electric fireplace. NEWLY RENOVATED - JAN 2021!
Renovations include: new appliances, new flooring, new windows throughout the home, new countertop and backsplash, freshly painted kitchen cabinets, paneling removed with new Sheetrock and fresh paint. You will love the new look!
The sunken living room has a smart TV so you can stream Netflix, Hulu, etc. by logging into your accounts. We have cable and high speed internet available! The sliding glass door off of the living room takes you onto the deck where you can sit at the patio table and enjoy some grilling on the propane grill. There is a pull out Queen size sleeper sofa. Also on the main floor is the kitchen which is fully furnished to include all your basic needs. There is a laundry room with washer/dryer, vacuum, broom, and other basic cleaning needs. Off of the kitchen and laundry area is a coat closet that has a high chair, pack and play, and various board games for use. We have kayaks available for guest use as well!
The upstairs includes 3 large bedrooms all with new windows, new paint and carpet. Two rooms have lake views and the third bunk bedroom has a park view. All bedrooms have a box fan available (home also has central A/C). The upstairs bathroom is newly renovated with new flooring, tile, and vanity.
There is a sunken lower level bathroom that contains a cedar shower, toilet, and large vanity area with a sink for getting ready. There is a small single stall garage that is used by the owners for storage of lawn care items.
There are multiple spacious grassy areas for kids and adults to play yard games, fly kites, sand volleyball, etc.

The original carriage house to the next door mansion. Originally built in 1896, this Spacious house has several distinct hangout areas, including the newly opened carriage house basement bar. With a large open family, dining, kitchen area on the first floor and an outdoor patio of the back, there is room for the group to spread out or hangout together.

Our family cabin, located on beautiful Lake George, is the perfect vacation cabin you've been looking for. The property is located near the center of Lake George, also providing you with access to the chain of lakes in the Fairmont Area.
After time on the lake, whether it be swimming, fishing, tubing or simply relaxing on the water, you can enjoy the great local parks Fairmont has to offer, with Lincoln Park just a few steps away. The cabin is also located close to downtown Fairmont, which offers shopping and delicious restaurants – all within walking distance.
Completely renovated in 2023, our property boasts 4 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom with an open kitchen/dining room concept. The living room has large lake facing windows, for a relaxing view any time of the day. The kitchen is fully furnished to include a dishwasher and microwave.

- "This house is very clean and comfortable. The host is kind and clearly communicative. One thing to note is that this lake is the smallest of the chain of lakes and is sometimes unable to be used as a swim spot due to green algae, it depends upon the way the wind blows according to neighbors. Fishing off the dock was great. If you have a boat it would be wonderful to enjoy swimming near the center of the lake or tubing, water skiing etc. We flew in from out of town so did not have our boat with us this time but it has a spot for camp fire near the water. There is a down sloped hill to walk down in order to get the dock (just to keep in mind for disabled or elderly guests). Also, I don't think it was shown in images but there is a basement toilet for those who can't wait for the bathroom to become available. Also, a cabin like shower and washer dryer in the basement;) The decor and amenities in this house made our stay really comfortable and enjoyable! We will book again if needs arise in this area."

We do have a high-chair, pack and play, changing table pad and childrens' books and toys if requested.

In the event that you request to stay longer than 7 days, we reserve the right to enter the home on a weekly basis to change the linens, towels and tidy up the house. Additional cleaning fees will be assessed on stays longer than 14-days.

The house has 3 bedrooms with 7 beds total. The bedrooms that are accessible to you during your stay is dependent on the number of guests. For stays with 5+ guests, you will have access to the upstairs bunk room which sleeps an additional 4 people and has a 1/2 bath. If you have access to the upstairs during your stay, it can get warm during summer months and cooler during winter months. We provide a fan and extra blankets. It is also helpful to leave the door open to the upstairs on the main floor to let the heat/air circulate. We have a security camera at the front entrance of the property facing the sidewalk.

The kitchen has a coffee maker, cooking utensils, pots and pans, dishes, paper towels, oil,spices & salt and pepper available. We provide hand and dish soap, shower gel,shampoo, conditioner body wash and a selection of cleaning supplies for your convenience.

We remodeled this rural house as our forever home and are now sharing it with you. Enjoy the natural light with large windows throughout the entire home built for comfort of large groups. Warm up to a cup of coffee in front of a fireplace in the living room or sit outside on the patio to relax. Two basement bedrooms with bunkbeds for the the kids in addition to multi-level living and family rooms. One main level bedroom with a full size bed. Upstairs is the master suite with king bed, large walk through closet, his and hers well appointed attached master bath. Speaking of bathrooms this home has a full bath on all three levels, as well as a extra half bath on the main level. The kitchen is filled with custom built cabinetry, Cambria counters, and stainless steel appliances. The half bath on the main level doubles as the laundry room which you will have access to front load machines. More than enough amenities to make your packing light and hassle free. The space
Free WIFI is available throughout the house. There are four private bedrooms- two bedrooms with full size mattress on the upper level and two bedrooms on the main level (one with a queen mattress and one room with double twin mattress bunkbeds). There is a large living room with a 55" TV and lots of comfortable seating. A separate play room is equipped with TV, toys, and games. A full kitchen is equipped with all the basics you need and has a large dining room adjourning. A full sized washer and dryer are also located just off the kitchen. There are two bathrooms- one on the main level with a bathtub/shower combo, and one in the basement with a shower. The basement is a great hangout spot which includes a Billiards and Foosball tables. The double garage contains outdoor toys and games you can enjoy in the large yard. A campfire ring is provided along with one bundle of firewood. Additional bundles are available for purchase. Guests will have access to entire house and yard. We ask that guests keep their distance from the fencing and refrain from opening or entering through any gates.
Other things to note
Bring your UTV and enjoy driving the rural roads in the area. With current MN State Registration class 2 UTV's can drive on Township and County Roads.

During the summer months there are times where the mosquito populations are higher and guests may want to use a bug repellant when enjoying outdoor activities at the property.
