The Sylvan Mirage pontoon is available for rent which is great for fishing or just general relaxation/recreation. It's a 2023 and has a 90hp motor, 20' 10" long, 2600 lbs, with a capacity of 10 people or 1410 lbs. It comes equipped with remote controlled power legs which are perfect for easy docking and enjoying the sandbars without the need for an anchor. The canopy is electronic, and it has the latest in Bluetooth sound technology. There are 10 adult emergency life jackets on board. We also have children live jackets available in a variety of sizes.

Need a place for the teens to hang? The screened-in boat house is a perfect hang out spot with a dart board and access to music.
You’ll have access to a 15’ canoe, stand-up paddle board that converts to a sit-down kayak, ladder ball, bean bag boards, bocce ball and the fire pit.

- "We really enjoyed our stay at Fish Hook Cabin. We played on the water during the day. Paddle boarded, tubed and lounged in the water. Our kids loved hanging out in the boathouse playing darts. We played bags as a family with the boards that were available. Used the hammock to lounge in. We appreciated all the kitchen accessories that made it easy to prepare our meals with. We spent our time relaxing, enjoying the beautiful view, cooking some new recipes, dropping our boat in the super conveniently close launch pad, golfing and exploring. It was quiet and peaceful. Alexandria is about 15 or so minutes away where there's a Target or WalMart for those things you may have forgotten and a grocery store. The cabin is stocked with everything you need, all is super clean and updated, there's a fire pit for S'mores and bonfires at night. We had a wonderful time and are already trying to strategize on how to return before summer's end. Thank You!!!!!!!!!"

Welcome to our modern VRBO home, ideally located just a short walk away from Barsness Park, and the Public Beach & Boat Landing. Relax by our private 20-ft beach, and have a fire while you watch the sunset! This cozy home comfortably accommodates up to six guests, making it perfect for families or friends seeking to get away. Our property's excellent proximity to town ensures that you can easily explore and enjoy all the local attractions, dining spots, and shopping areas. Close to everything!
The space
**Please note, we do not currently have a dock, can pull boat up to beach and use public landing just down the road**
Main level bedroom has queen size bed. This is located next to the bathroom and laundry.
Upstairs consist of loft. This has two twin size beds and a full size bed.
Guest access
Guest have access to main level and loft. Basement is closed off for supplies/storage.
Other things to note
Very close proximately to most everything. Two-minute walk to our beach to enjoy the beautiful Lake Minnewaska waters. Park your boat right up on the beach. Boat landing and public beach is a block away, and Barsness Park has a bunch of activities including the new splash pad for the kiddos!! Glenwood is the home of Waterama (last full weekend every July) and Winterama (2nd weekend in February). Be sure to check out our Guest Guide for additional local information! Please note this is a new property, which has some work needed on the outside entrance staircase - take care in using the existing cement steps that display erosions on the ends, and do not have a railing. Additionally, the driveway is somewhat steep to get up to the very top to the entrance and firepit area

- "I cannot express how much we enjoyed staying at this property. Everything was immaculately clean and the items that were provided, which were a lot, were top notch. It was located close to the water and the public dock. We were able to easily walk to the dock and fish. The center of town was just down the road so it made getting groceries and shopping easy. Other cities and adventures were just a short drive away. I felt comfortable that the local hospital was right there in case something happened. Todd was very responsive and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Even though we did not end up renting a boat he was able to give us the information for boat rentals. You will not be disappointed staying at this property as it is at the center of everything. One thing to note, and it has nothing to do with the property, is the hours of operation for the local restaurants and when they serve dinner. You will want to investigate this when you get there if you are planning on eating out. Thank you for this wonderful experience!"
