Birch is a studio built in 2017 - square log construction. Many guests describe Birch like being on a houseboat. When you sit on the couch or glider rocker, you can only see water. Complete kitchen with microwave, full refrigerator, dishwasher and range. There is a place for everything. This is a more private location at the very east end of the resort. It’s also our closest cabin to Big Sand Lake–about 3 feet. When you look out the huge front windows, it looks like your floating on the water. The Birch studio home is a favorite for cuddling couples and small families.

Our Pine Cone Lodge Resort is located between two lakes! More rustic and scenic Loon/Thomas Lake is shallower and great for bass and panfish. It does not have public access. There is public access on Big Sand Lake on the south-east shore.

This property is not available for VRBO rentals in the summer Memorial Day through Labor Day. We hope you try out this property at Pine Cone Lodge during the fall, winter or spring.

We can provide that, with a 2 bedroom cabin 10 feet from the shores of Big Sand Lake, Park Rapids, Minnesota. Big Sand is one of the areas premier fishing and recreational lakes. 1800 acre lake with 35-foot water clarity, hard pack sand bottom, gradual slope out, and no weeds!! Fantastic swimming off the end of the dock. The cabin is a rustic two bedroom with a large deck and lakeside fire pit. There is a double bed in one bedroom. The other bedroom has a bunk bed with full mattress on the bottom and twin on top. Beautiful setting among towering white and red pines, right on the water, with a fabulous fire pit overlooking a natural rocky shoreline. This cabin faces west for the best sunset views in Hubbard County.
The cabin is NOT handicap accessible, and people with mobility issues will find the steps difficult. There are 35 stone steps down (from parking) to cabin and waters edge.
There are no hard-wired phones, but there is wifi and internet access.
Our cabin is part of an old resort, so there are nearby neighbors and we kindly ask that you respect their privacy if they happen to be in residence.
We have a canoe and 2 kayaks for you to enjoy that are included with the cabin rental. There is also a 20ft pontoon with a 60hp motor for rent. Please message for details. Juniper was built in 2017 replacing a cabin at Pine Cone Lodge. It is the original shape of the old cabin but is completely new from top to bottom. This two bedroom home accommodates 5 people. It was design with lots of windows to provide a feeling of sitting on a porch. The upper windows on the west provide privacy from the rest of the resort.

Juniper is one of several homes in a resort. The resort is located on Big Sand Lake and Loon Lake. You have access to both.

The space
My charming 1,200 square foot home was built in 1948 and fully remodeled in 2016. The patio space and living room are both excellent spaces to enjoy the peace of small town living.

Location is key with this property as bars, restaurants, parks, the hospital, and the county Sheriff's office are all within a few blocks.

I live at this property with my dog Gill; however, I let guests have the entire house to themselves when they stay.

Guest access
Guests may use the driveway but parking is not allowed on the front yard grass. The entire upstairs and patio are available during your stay. The basement may be used to access a second bathroom and laundry if needed. The only areas off limits are inside the garage and the downstairs bedroom, which are both locked.

Other things to note
Kitchen: The kitchen light has only 1 switch located at the far end before the mudroom. Silverware is right of sink top drawer. Plates, bowls, and cups are in the cupboard right of the sink. Mixing bowls and cookware are to the right of the fridge, bottom cabinet. Dish soap is in the built-in sink soap dispenser. Dish drying rack is to the right of the sink in the countertop corner.

A small trash bin is located under each sink and one in each bedroom. A large trash bin and recycling bin are located on the south side of the house next to a metal shed.

Enjoy this small two bedroom waterfront cabin located just steps from Lower Bottle Lake. A private boat launch is located directly next to the cabin allowing for easy access to launch your boat. Enjoy trying your boat up to the private dock located directly in front of the cabin!
Spend time appreciating the lake view from the deck, panfishing off the dock, grilling on the provided charcoal grill, or enjoying a campfire. New dock installed in 2024

The space
Essentials including microwave, gas stove, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, dish-ware, cooking utensils, pots, pans, fish cleaning knife, and clean bedding are provided. Cabin also has color TV with Dish Network. Guests will need to provide their own towels, toiletries, etc.

A shallow beach located near the cabin is a great place for you to relax, or for young kids to swim during the sunny Minnesota summers. Don't like the beach area? No worries, head over to the common area with the heated pool.

Lower Bottle is a deep, clear lake that has excellent walleye, northern, bass, and panfishing off the dock. It is connected to Upper Bottle Lake allowing for over 1,100 acres of fishing and boating. If interested in renting a fishing or pontoon boat contact owner. A fish cleaning house is located near the cabin and has all the necessities you'll need to clean your catch of the day!

The cabin is located just 7 miles from Emmaville Inn where you will find a cafe, small grocery store, and gas station. Just down the road from Emmaville is North County Bait where you will find a large selection of bait. If you are looking for a larger grocery store, restaurants, or would like to check out some shops, the city of Park Rapids is located just 12 miles from the cabin. There are over 400 lakes within a 25 mile radius of the cabin.

If you are looking to do something unique during your stay, the Itasca State Park is located is only 21 miles from the cabin. Here you can see the start of the Mississippi River!

Juniper was built in 2017 replacing a cabin at Pine Cone Lodge. It is the original shape of the old cabin but is completely new from top to bottom. This two bedroom home accommodates 5 people. It was design with lots of windows to provide a feeling of sitting on a porch. The upper windows on the west provide privacy from the rest of the resort. This property is not available in the summer. We hope you try out this property at Pine Cone Lodge during the fall, winter or spring.

The cabin has an open concept with fully equipped kitchen opening into dining and living areas. Three bedrooms; downstairs bedroom has a king-sized bed and upstairs primary bedroom has a queen bed and open loft room area has three single beds.
Sleeps 7. Full bathroom downstairs with shower. Upstairs is a half bath.

Front deck has a Weber charcoal grill and picnic table with view of the lake. Included with rental are a 4-person Pedal boat, a paddle board, a single kayak and classic 60's Lund fishing boat with oars only. Feel free to bring your own motor or rent one in town before you arrive.

Charlie's Marine in Park Rapids offers small motors for rent for the fishing boat. Life vests of a range of sizes are available for your use. Bring own fishing equipment.

There are some wonderful walking trails behind the cabin across the road that my neighbors maintain. Feel free to make use of this peaceful wooded paths. Take precautions and use tick and mosquito spray. Also bring your own sunscreen.

Large patio doors open on to the deck. There is a screen door to keep flying insects out, however, should you have small children with you please slide screen door to the side so little ones (or big ones) don't walk through the screen! Believe me, it happens....often.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire cabin, single carport, and general outdoor areas of the resort. In addition, the basement of the Main Brick House is a common area offering coin laundry and a game room for all guests of the Resort, providing a fun escape with a pool table, ping pong table, darts, chess and an array of card and board games.

In addition, guests are able to venture to the resort's ""Riverside Point"" where a grassy peninsula awaits on the shores of Fish Hook River. Here, fire pits with inviting benches offer a place to gather and enjoy the beauty of nature, while a dock stands ready for boating or fishing adventures. We provide kayaks, canoes and other small self-propelled water vessels for complementary use (first-come, first served). Firewood can be pre-ordered for $6 per bundle or $8 per bundle on site. We also have a pontoon available for rent so our guests can enjoy all Fish Hook River/Lake has to offer during their stay!

For the angler at heart, a fish house with running water provides a convenient spot to clean and prepare your catch of the day, while water toys, floaties, life jackets, and beach toys await in the nearby shed, promising endless hours of outdoor fun.

We understand that pets are part of the family, and we're happy to consider allowing your dog to join you during your stay. We do not allow cats. To ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests, we have established the following pet policy:

- Dog Information: Guests must provide the age, breed, and weight/size of their dog(s) when inquiring. Approval is based on this information.

- Approval & Fees: If you dog is approved, an additional pet fee will apply. We will send a separate payment request for this fee upon booking.

- Rules & Restrictions: Dogs must be well-behaved, house-trained, and fully vaccinated. Dogs must be leashed when outside, unless they are in the designated off-leash area. Please clean up after your dog and keep them off the furniture. We reserve the right to decline certain breeds, sizes, or multiple dogs.

- Responsibility: Guests are responsible for any damage or extra cleaning caused by their dog(s). Unauthorized pets may result in a penalty fee and possible eviction without refund.

The property boasts 66 acres that are shared with 13 privately owned cabins. You will love our sandy beach and swim area. Kids will enjoy the playgrounds and water slides. 60 acres of wooded hiking or cross country ski trails will delight nature lovers. Your rental includes a private dock space and an amazing deck over the water. Indoor and outdoor games, as well as kayaks are available for your enjoyment. There are 2 large bonfire bowls on the beach as well as a smokeless bonfire stove in the lodge yard for s’mores and stories. We even provide the wood! You won’t want to leave this little piece of heaven.

Fish & Fun Cabin provides an incredible Northern outdoors experience with modern conveniences. Our cabin features fully furnished two bedroom, one bath cabin with large open kitchen/living room area. Deck off the common room opening up to a flat level 30 foot walk to the edge of the lake. Cabin is on Lower Bottle Lake with access to Upper Bottle Lake and Emma Lake. Lakes have wonderful walleye, bass, pan fish, and northern pike available in all sizes. Finish your day with a relaxing bon fire!

The space
The cabin is a single family one story cabin with 652 sq. ft. of finished space. From the deck to the lakefront is about 30 feet level walk. The body of water is Lower Bottle Lake which connects via water to Upper Bottle Lake and Emma Lake. Lower Bottle lake goes as deep as 110 feet in spots. It is an awesome fishing lake for walleye, bass, northern, and pan fish.

The Potato Shack is the ideal year-round getaway, located on Potato Lake. Our lake is a premier walleye and bass fishing lake in the area. Known for its water clarity, hard sand bottom, and few weeds. We are truly a premier destination for all.

Winter enthusiasts can enjoy easy access to trails around the Park Rapids Area. Plus access to the lake for ice fishing.

**Full dock access with power and plenty of room for trailer parking on site.

The space
Space
This space is 150 feet from the water's edge, the house boasts expansive views whether from the deck, living room, kitchen, or loft. Imagine yourself relaxing on the deck while watching the sun setting across the water.

The main floor has a large king-size bed with an attached bathroom. The loft features a deluxe queen-size bed that offers a spectacular view to awake to, through two huge trapezoid windows. On the other side of the loft, you will find another deluxe queen size bed plus another bathroom upstairs.

The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, spices, sugar, flour, and all those things that are just too easy to forget. The deck features a gas grill.

Other things to note
Potato Lake is known for being the gem of the Park Rapids Area. Large enough to accommodate all but the largest boats, yet small enough to avoid the rough water of larger lakes.

This rustic little cabin is located in a resort setting with the lake just steps from your deck and a heated swimming pool behind it. The property sets on 6 acres of North woods serenity. You will have access to the pool, playgrounds, beach & fish cleaning house. There is a boat launch on the property and we include 1 dock space free of charge. You will be able to access Lower & Upper Bottle Lakes for a combined total of 1400 acres.
I do not supply bath towels or toiletries.

The cabin is fully furnished for housekeeping. Fridge, stove, microwave, drip coffee maker, toaster, kitchen towels charcoal grill, satellite TV, WIFI. There are two queen beds & 1 full bed in the cabin. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo. We do not provide bath towels or toiletries.

PARKING

Guests of Cabin 7 are allowed up to 2 vehicles to park on the property. Permission from our management team is required for additional vehicles and trailers as parking is limited. The cabin has a designated parking space on the East end of the cabin near the brown shed, suitable for up to two vehicles (side by side). This parking space is uncovered. Additional parking may be available on the grass area across from the cabin.

PETS

- Dogs are permitted with prior approval. Cats are not permitted under any circumstances.

- Pre-approval is required. You must provide the age, breed, and weight of your dog(s) when inquiring or booking.

- A pet fee will apply and is based on the information you provide.

The pontoon is capable of pulling tubers and also features AM/FM Radio, plenty of storage and a nice shade canopy so you can comfortably enjoy everything Fish Hook River/Lake has to offer during your stay!

Located on Big Sand Lake and Thomas Lake, you have access to a perfect sand beach along with canoes, kayaks and paddle boards. In the summer and fall, you have access to the old lodge which is our rec room with ping pong, pool table, foosball, and more. There is a tennis/pickle ball court on property also a basketball hoop.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire cabin and general outdoor areas of the resort. In addition, the basement of the Main Brick House is a common area offering coin laundry and a game room for all guests of the Resort, providing a fun escape with a pool table, ping pong table, darts, chess and an array of card and board games.

In addition, guests are able to venture to the resort's ""Riverside Point"" where a grassy peninsula awaits on the shores of Fish Hook River. Here, fire pits with inviting benches offer a place to gather and enjoy the beauty of nature, while a dock stands ready for boating or fishing adventures. We provide kayaks, canoes and other small self-propelled water vessels for complementary use (first-come, first served). Firewood can be pre-ordered for $6 per bundle or $8 per bundle on site. We also have a pontoon available for rent so our guests can enjoy all Fish Hook River/Lake has to offer during their stay!

For the angler at heart, a fish house with running water provides a convenient spot to clean and prepare your catch of the day, while water toys, floaties, life jackets, and beach toys await in the nearby shed, promising endless hours of outdoor fun.

PET POLICY

We understand that pets are part of the family, and we're happy to consider allowing your dog to join you during your stay. We do not allow cats. To ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests, we have established the following pet policy:

- Dog Information: Guests must provide the age, breed, and weight/size of their dog(s) when inquiring. Approval is based on this information.

- Approval & Fees: If you dog is approved, an additional pet fee will apply. We will send a separate payment request for this fee upon booking.

- Rules & Restrictions: Dogs must be well-behaved, house-trained, and fully vaccinated. Dogs must be leashed when outside, unless they are in the designated off-leash area. Please clean up after your dog and keep them off the furniture. We reserve the right to decline certain breeds, sizes, or multiple dogs.

- Responsibility: Guests are responsible for any damage or extra cleaning caused by their dog(s). Unauthorized pets may result in a penalty fee and possible eviction without refund.

SERVICE ANIMALS
ADA-recognized service animals are always welcome throughout the resort. Owners should please observe and follow the service animal behavioral policy below:

Service animals must be under the control of their handler at all times.
Service animals should remain on a leash or harness unless doing so interferes with the animal's ability to perform its duties or the individual’s disability prevents using these devices.
Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their service animal and for any damages the animal may cause to the property or other guests.

We request that guests with service animals inform our reservations team at the time of booking, so we can ensure the most comfortable accommodation for you and your service animal.

For the purpose of this policy, a service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. Unwind at this beautiful modern farmhouse style cabin on Big Stony Lake! This brand new, fully furnished 1888 sq ft cabin features an open floor plan and spacious living. It has 3 bedrooms, office/extra sleeping, 2 1/2 baths, and fully equipped kitchen.

This is a lovely, two bedroom and one bath cabin with a very large screen porch, knotty pine interior, and large picture window overlooking Two Inlets Lake. This cabin is cute, comfortable and perfect for 2 to 4 people or even a silent retreat. Located just 60 yards from our resort's private swimming beach.

It's located 10 minutes from the beautiful and adventurous Itasca State Park.

The space
We are one of the finer Park Rapids, MN resorts located near Itasca State Park, on Two Inlets Lake and in Two Inlets State Forest. We are considered a northern Minnesota resort, so you can get away from it all with just a quick four hour drive from Mpls/St. Paul.

We offer 13 individual and privately spaced lake cabins, a sandy swimming beach with water toys, plenty of things to do at your leisure, and an overall laid back and quiet atmosphere.

The sandy swimming beach that features a swim raft, canoe, paddlebike, paddleboards, kayaks, water whoosh, water trampoline, and a sailboat. Free kid & adult bicycles are also available for a ride around the resort or lake, or rent at the Heartland Bicycle Trail and Itasca State Park. Itasca State Park is a quick 10 minute drive. Golf course and tennis courts are located just .5 miles from the resort.

Fishing:
Walleye, crappie, northern pike, large mouth bass, & bluegill are the most popular in Two Inlets Lake. We also have four sizes of fishing boats & a pontoon available for rent. Dock space for your personal boat is free. Bait can be purchased from the lodge.

PONTOON RENTALS

At Timberlane Resort, we offer 2 pontoons for guests to rent on-site from the 3rd weekend in May to the 2nd Weekend of October. The pontoons are capable of pulling tubers and also features AM/FM Radio, plenty of storage and a nice shade canopy so you can comfortably enjoy everything Long Lake has to offer during your stay!

Guests have access to the entire cabin, as well as the on-site pool (9AM-8PM, Seasonal/Weather Permitting), tennis court, basketball court, and general outdoor areas of the Resort. We provide kayaks and other small self-propelled water vessels for complementary use (first-come, first served), and pontoons are available to rent on site for your convenience.

For guests eager to tee off, our resort boasts the beautiful Bear's Den Golf Course, just a short stroll away. Tee times can be booked directly at the Lodge on site, ensuring you have the perfect opportunity to enjoy a round of golf amidst the stunning natural surroundings. Additionally, golf carts are available for rent on site, providing added ease and enjoyment during your golfing experience.

Other things to note
Pets are not permitted at the resort in order to ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests. Guests in violation of this policy will be subject to penalties including a $500 fine and termination of current and future reservations without refund.
