- "The location, appearance, and amenities listed in the VRBO property write-up initially appealed to me. The apartment was within easy walking distance of many restaurants, sights, and.attractions. The decorating was whimsical and attractive. Although WiFi connection was good, there was no TV remote. The host encouraged us to search the unit, an inconvenience and to no avail. A remote was delivered to our room, but TV still did not function and was not repaired during our stay. Although requested, we received no compensation for lack of TV. An ironing board needed to be replaced in the room, cleanliness of floors was poor, especially beneath bed. There was no fire extinguisher, no smoke or CO2 detectors, or emergency kit. “Water view” is likely only seasonal with binoculars. The description on VRBO needs to be updated to accurately reflect this property and its managerial coverage. The host expected us to strip beds, empty all garbage, and wash dishes prior to departure which should have been part of cleaning fee we paid. At times this stay was more stressful than relaxing."

Cottage on the Bluff the rate went up because the whole house is available now, 4 bedroom house that sleeps 10, in a desirable neighborhood, one mile walk to downtown Harbor Springs, where all the shops, entertainment, restaurants, and some of the best beaches are. A bike path 1/4 of a mile is convenient if you want to take a bike ride. Boyne Highlands worlds best golf, and skiing only 5 miles down the road! Petoskey is only 6 miles, where you can enjoy the festivals, restaurants, and beaches. Take a day trip up to Cross Village (only 16 miles) where you will see some of the most beautiful sand dunes, beaches, and trails to hike through the woods. Mackinaw City (only 30 miles) enjoy Mackinaw City, so much to do or take the ferry to Mackinaw island. Chefs kitchen with all the utensils and dishes you will need to make tasty meals for your family, a great place to entertain your family on vacation where there is plenty of space inside (seating for 13 people) or in the beautiful backyard with all the trees and flowers, plenty of tables and chairs as well.

A recently remodeled lower level apartment on a farm in Harbor Springs. Located just miles from downtown, Lake Michigan, world class skiing and golf, biking and hiking trails, this is the perfect home base for any adventure. Enjoy breathtaking views of the sunrises and sunsets on the farm out the panoramic windows. We do live upstairs and you will be able to hear us through the floors. The entire apartment is private, with your own driveway, entrance, kitchen, bathroom, and living space.

Although it is a private apartment furnished with bathroom, kitchen, living room, bar area and studio bedroom, the owners live upstairs in the same house. You will be able to hear us and our two black labs when we are home.

Our condo includes: Master bedroom loft with king bed & jacuzzi, fully equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, large balconies, mountain views. The space
Our condo is bright with a lot of windows and beautiful views of Boyne Highlands ski slopes and their golf course. Our open floor plan has a master loft for the bedroom. It's ideal for a couple or a couple and 1-2 children. The master loft overlooks the main floor. The loft has a king size sleigh bed, a large jacuzzi tub, and a private bathroom with a large shower (including two independent shower heads). The main floor includes a complete kitchen, a counter height Amish-made dining room table and chairs, a large sectional sofa, a gas fireplace, 1/2 bath and a washer and dryer. In the summer you can enjoy our two decks on the main floor and one deck off the master loft. **Smart TV with cable and wireless internet is included.

Amenities include nature trails, indoor and outdoor pool during peak season, fitness center, playground, soccer field, sand volleyball, activity center, tennis courts, fishing in stocked ponds in the summer, and many more!

This Lake Street apartment is a one of a kind. The apartment is partially above commercial businesses, including your host, The Harbor Barber (no chemical services offered - so no funky odors from below). This space was 100% improved in 2021. The property is a short walk/bike-ride from the bike path, and iconic downtown Harbor Springs, the Lyric theatre, a dog beach, a bathing beach and so much more. Your host freely shares his knowledge of the history and current events happening around town.

You will have a fully functioning 1 bedroom (queen), 1.5 bath apartment with a pull out sofa in the living room at your disposal. This property is in a commercial building and therefore does not have lawn space to gather in; however it is 300 meters from an excellent park. There is one parking space outside your door, if multiple spaces are needed for your stay, then please make prior arrangements with us.

Other things to note
We love dogs, and we welcome them to our property, however, we do charge a $25 premium for pets. Most people are great caretakers for their pets, but on the whole there is more wear and tear on our space when our furry friends travel with. We do keep a roll of bags by the back door, we ask that you pick up after your dog when walking them and discard the bag in the garbage hopper outside the door. There is also always a can of dog treats by the back door stocked for your stay.

Tiled bathroom with shower is directly off the bedroom area. Very private while still getting some natural light.

Private Back rooftop deck is accessed through a swing open window. It is a bit narrow and not totally the norm but has not been an issue so far for guests. Views of the water and in the warmer months there is a table for 4 with a massive umbrella for dining or hanging outside.

The beautiful beach at Zorn Park is a block away. Michigan's Tunnel of Trees on M-119 is accessible by turning left as you leave the parking area. Nub's Nob Ski area and Boyne Highlands Resort are both a 10 to 15 minute drive away. Several cross country skiing and snowshoeing options are also nearby in the winter and there are several golf courses to choose from during the summer months. Harbor Springs also has a movie theater, The Lyric, which is within walking distance.
