The deal breaker tho was that there is no sound proofing with the attached rental unit - we could hear every word from the other guest so clearly that when I said to my partner that it was weird, the other guest responded that yes, it's weird. It's only in the bathroom area, but I hated that. It's one thing to hear noises of the presence of others, but that was too much. We just wanted a secluded weekend away, so that took away from it."

- "This little condo was perfect for our weeklong escape to Saugatuck. The condo was comfortable and well-appointed with everything we needed. The quality of the furnishings was great. Marta certainly does not cut corners. She left a nice welcome gift of a bottle of wine, cheese and snacks when we checked in, and a Keurig with some pods to start off with. She also had beach chairs, beach towels and a beach pass for guest use, another nice touch. We loved the location being in the heart of town and sitting on the cozy patio most evenings to people watch while looking over at the harbor. It was only a 2 block walk to get morning lattes and a block from the Butler restaurant. We enjoyed hearing the Butler’s live music on Thurs night, which ended around 10pm so it didn't affect our sleep. It was a bit smaller than we expected, but with the great location, comfy furnishings and responsive host, the slightly smaller space did not impact our enjoyment of the rental. Compared to any of our prior vacation rentals (or even hotel stays), this was the most problem-free experience we have had with accommodations. Thank you, Marta, for your care to give your guests a top-notch experience. We could not have been happier with the rental and hope to rent here again next summer if we return to Saugatuck."

Frank's Apartment is a cozy little getaway for 2-4 people conveniently situated "On the Hill" in Saugatuck. It is just steps from shopping, beaches, boat rides, fudge and ice cream shops, bars, nightlife and dancing, live theater, pickleball and tennis, art galleries, restaurants, fishing, kayaking, museums, nature hikes, antique shops and more.

Frank's Apartment has everything you need for your weekend or week getaway. It has one queen bedroom with a walk in closet. Also it has a good size living room with a fold out queen sofa bed. It has a full and spacious kitchen. And a full bathroom with step in shower. It also includes a full size washer and dryer. All linens are provided and you'd be hard pressed to find a kitchen implement that isn't there. There is also a little outdoor table and two chairs.

The apartment is conveniently all on one level. It does not have a ramp, but is handicap friendly with large doorways and a step in shower with grab bars.

Also please note that Frank's Apartment though connected to Emma's House, has its own two entrances and exits, parking area, heat and air conditioning and locked connecting door (which can be unlocked if both sides are rented together).

We are following the guidelines of the CDC and WHO in our health and safety practices ...

-Contactless check in and check out. We unlock the unit for you earlier in the day and leave a key for you to use. Then you leave the key and the place unlocked, and if possible give us a call when you check out.

-If possible we wait several hours or a day to go over and clean after a group has left to let things settle.

-Then when we come to clean, we open all the windows and turn the fans on to air out the place.

-We wash the sheets and towels with hot water.

-Then we clean everything like usual.

-At the end we go around with the WHO recommended type of disinfecting bleach (not laundry bleach) mixed with the recommenced ratio of water and disinfect: counters, faucets and taps and shower controls, handles of appliances and doors and cabinets, light switches, AC control, lamps, remotes, soap dispensers, TV and DVD player and Roku box, info book, key, and where people frequently touch the windows and blinds.

This is a rustic campsite next to an open pasture and forest. The birds sing raucously early in the morning. The evening winds down with bullfrogs croaking, owls hooting and coyotes singing. Twilight is magical with thousands of fireflies rising out of the prairie in June and July.
. Bucolic is the perfect word to describe the lovely scenery with warm sun, bees humming around the flowers, and fireflies lighting up. Light up the fire pit for some ‘mores at night.

The space
There are very few guests at this small private camping center. Located on the Red Spirit Retreat land, the four campsites are each divided by roughly a half acre of land. The campsite includes a private composting toilet, a hammock, a fire pit, and a bundle of free firewood. More firewood can be purchased at the Deer Blind, or you may bring your own. You will need to bring or find kindling or paper, and matches for starting the fire. Each personal composting toilet has toilet paper, a first aid kit, and cleaning spray. Please put dirt from the tub on top of your waste. The hammock can hold 2 people (up to 300 lb max.) and has a shade roof and mosquito netting.
The campsite is perfect for reading, drawing, painting, walking the trails, watching frogs at the pond, singing around the campfire, and playing games in the Prairie. At the deer blind you will find a corn hole game, frisbee, bubbles and 2 yoga mats. Bike paths pass the retreat center.
There are no bright overhead lights to keep you awake.. You will need to bring your own flashlights or lanterns. There are many nearby restaurants with carry out food in Saugatuck, Douglass, South Haven, and Holland. Or put some hot dogs on sticks. No parties are allowed. You may bring one or two tents to this campsite.

There are trails on the land, a solar shower for quick rinses, and an open field for sunbathing (near the solar shower) or Frisbee. You may wander about the pond. Please do not disturb other guests. On the north side of the property is a neighbor’s farm. Please do not walk into the field.

The Deep Forest campsite is surrounded by woods on all sides. Enjoy listening to the twitters and tweets of birds.. Read some books, paint, play your guitar, or Frisbee in the prairie and restore your soul. There is a hammock for your family’s enjoyment. There are a number of short trails to enjoy, one starting from the door of your tent. Gaze into the embers at your personal fire pit. Watch the fireflies.
There is enough space for two tents and two cars.

The campsite is located on twenty acres of land belonging to the Red Spirit Retreat Center. You are free to walk the unmarked trails, check out the frogs at the Frog Pond, use the solar shower in the prairie. Feel free to play frisbee in the lower part of the prairie. There are two yoga mats, frisbees, and a corn hole game to use at the deer blind. Some guests may be meditating at the retreat center so keep your music at a level that other campers cannot hear. 10 pm is quiet time and we ask that you don’t wander near other guests after dark.

Other things to note
There is extra firewood for sale at the Deer Blind. You may borrow two yoga mats from the Deer Blind as well. The first aid kit will be in the privacy tent. Incredible pies can be ordered from the retreat center owner with minimally 24 hour notice.

We are 2 miles from Hope College and Downtown Holland, perfect for visiting that favorite college student or just getting away to enjoy the beautiful Lake Shore. Holland itself has so much to offer with its boutiques, coffee shops, and restaurants. Thanks to heated sidewalks in the winter we can all enjoy this vibrant downtown! We are less than 8 miles from Holland State Park, 11 miles from Saugatuck, 23 miles from Grand Haven, and 29 miles from Grand Rapids, making this a desirable location!

The space
We remodeled our 1940 home with you in mind. Our hope is that this home says, "Come, relax and stay awhile!" Along with a private main floor Bedroom you will have your own Bathroom with a new tub and shower and plenty of linens, also a Den/TV room. Plenty of windows and natural light makes the main Living Area, (a shared space) open and airy. The Kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances and is well supplied. The Dining Room table comfortably seats six and is adjacent to the Living Room and Kitchen.

The main floor Bedroom, TV/Den, and Full Bathroom are exclusively yours during your stay. You are welcome to make coffee, tea, and use the Microwave in the kitchen which is a shared space. You are welcome to join us for a visit in the main Living Area if you would like. We also have a new washer and dryer available in an unfinished basement.

The space
This 400 square feet gem is located in a safe and quite downtown neighborhood and conformably fits up to 3 people. The apartment comes fully furnished and is equipped with everything you will need. Simply bring your clothes along with any personal items. We have the rest covered.

You’ll enter through a private entrance, up the stairs and into the apartment. Immediately you’ll be welcomed with vaulted ceilings and notice the nice finishes throughout. This apartment is furnished with 1 king bed plus a queen pull out memory foam mattress within the couch.

Kitchen
We understand that if your staying for a while you will not be able to get by with just a mini fridge and a microwave. This kitchen is stocked with everything your going to need; refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, along with all of the bowls, plates, utensils and cookware to make up a complete kitchen.

Living Room
The living room is furnished with a comfy couch and reclining chair, it’s the perfect landing spot to kick back and take in some of your favorite shows on the 55-inch flat screen TV. Netflix is provided, any other streaming apps are Bring Your Own Subscription (BYOS).

You will have access to the entire upper floor of the home along with the grill and backyard space to the back of the house.

Other things to note
This apartment is located on the upper floor of a multi-unit home and is completely separate from the ground floor below. The ground floor is used for short term rentals, so there may be other guests sharing the driveway and outdoor space at times.

As mentioned, the apartment is on the upper floor, so there are stairs that you will have to go up and down throughout your stay.

Parking is provided in the driveway for one vehicle, any guest vehicles will have to park on the road.

Holland hosts The Tulip Time Festival in May every year. Holland is also home to the Windmill Island Gardens. A seasonal park featuring tulip gardens, and a 250-year-old windmill, a carousel & Dutch costume guides. The only working windmill in the US. On Wednesday and Saturdays there's a farmers market from 8 AM to 3 PM spring and summer months downtown. In the winter time you can enjoy Dutch holiday celebrations including an open air European Christmas market, festive decorations, home tours and a parade of lights. Sinterklaas comes to town!

We offer a basement suite, located in a quiet neighborhood. Our goal is to provide a comfortable,“Dutch clean”, friendly accommodation, at a very reasonable price. This is a great place to stay while visiting family or friends, exploring the wonders of West Michigan, or while on a business trip. Our basement suite consists of a bedroom with a queen bed, a private bath, and a living room that has a kitchenette at one end. The LR has a sofa and 2 chairs plus a small table and chairs for eating. We can accommodate 2 extra persons by setting up a queen size memory foam platform bed in the living room. The space
Enjoy the fire pit and the outdoor space around The Hut. There is an efficient space heater that warms everything up quite quickly. A separate primitive outhouse is connected with a composting stump toilet. It is a step above back country camping. From mid April to mid October there is a private outdoor shower with hot and cold running water and complimentary toiletries.
Laketown Township is an ideal place for hiking, biking and embracing Michigan’s Great Outdoors. Saugatuck Dunes State Park is just 5 miles South. We are located only 2 miles from Lake Michigan and just 3 miles from Laketown Township Beach!

You will be provided with several gallons of clean, fresh water for your stay, however, The Hut does not have plumbing of any kind. We have provided guests with a composting toilet. The space
Blueberry Shores is a cozy and clean lower level studio apartment offering you quiet seclusion, and only minutes away from cultural and collegiate events, recreational activity and sprawling beaches along Lake Michigan's shoreline.

Our space includes a private drive, entrance and keyless code lock for easy arrival. The room is charming, with a very comfortable full size bed, private bath, couch and kitchenette. Enjoy morning coffee on your private garden patio, and relax after a fun day of activity under our lighted pergola just outside your door. We have robust WIFI , a smart TV with streaming capability and plenty of device charging options. (You Tube TV, and Disney plus included).

Guests are welcome to take a stroll down our lane. The property is beautiful in every season, and makes for a lovely and scenic walk any time of day.
Our permanent residence is located partially above the space. We do have hardwood floors that can invite an occasional bump or creak, however, we are very considerate of our guests.

Guests are welcome to full use of the lower level studio apartment. Private entrance and driveway, as well as private access to the garden patio just up the stone steps and adjacent to the drive. Our quiet road and open fields make a nice backdrop for a morning or evening walk or run.

Other things to note
At Blueberry Shores, you’ll be just far enough to feel country, but close enough to enjoy what the lakeshore has to offer. Nearby are Holland State Park, Grand Haven State Park, miles of beautiful beach, biking, kayaking, paddle boarding and the 'Big Red' boardwalk along the channel. Hemlock Crossings and Rosy Mound parks are less than 5 miles from our home, offering hiking through beautiful wooded and beachfront trails.

There's wonderful shopping, restaurants, and Holland’s spectacular downtown Farmer’s market and Christmastime ‘Kerstmarkt’. Early May boasts Holland’s Tulip Time festival, and Grand Haven’s Coast Guard Festival is equally alluring during early August. Heated streets and sidewalks and warming fires make downtown Holland a lovely place to visit anytime of year. For your convenience, we have published several ideas for local restaurants and points of interest people seem to enjoy most. Additionally, we are 20 minutes from Grand Valley State University, and 15 minutes from Hope College and its summer repertoire theater productions.

Blueberry Shores was named for the rich history of blueberry farming along the Southwest Michigan coastline. Commercial farming in Michigan began in the 1940’s. The soil is acidic and the climate is perfect for growing the best blueberries. 'You pick' farms in the area are open late June through early August, and you'll find a large variety of specialty items and treats at fun roadside markets like Reender's Blueberry Farm or Bowerman's Downtown Holland.
For the outdoor winter enthusiast, cross country skiing at Pigeon Creek is wonderful. Just 5 minutes from our space, the ski trails and sledding hill are lighted for night use. The Pigeon Creek Lodge provides very affordable ski rental, a food and beverage concession and serves as a warming house with fires inside and out. Snowshoeing is another fun option, and for those willing to bundle up, the Lake Michigan shoreline is equally beautiful in the winter as ice hills often make for great hiking and photographs.
