We offer a simple private room and bathroom in a wooded area. The room is great for guests who need a quiet place to crash after a day out and about. You'll wake to birdsong and will have access to the best walking and running paths and nature trails with river views in town.

We are very close to Ann Arbor's favorite parks and outdoor spaces. Go for a trail run or rent a canoe at Argo Park and go for a paddle with the resident swans. Afterwards, clean up in your private bath with original penny tile. When you are ready for food take a leisurely stroll along the river to Zingerman's Deli or Kerrytown for lunch.

If you are headed to Michigan Stadium you can take the 8 minute bus ride downtown or enjoy a 50 minute walk in city parks to the Big House.

If college sports aren't your thing, don't fear! The room is also a favorite spot for visiting yogis.

Master bedroom has queen size bed, dresser, ample space. Second bedroom has two twin beds. Living room has 2 sofas, one with a pull-out queen bed, along with tv and this opens onto the kitchen. Kitchen offers fridge, sink, microwave, induction burner, blender, toaster oven, drip coffeemaker and a Keurig machine. Coffee and tea are provided, along with bottled water. Bathroom has shower stall and was recently remodeled. We are happy to consider requests for additional amenities as needed. This unique 750 sq ft space is located on the second floor of barn, offering views of natural beauty and wildlife, along with ample sunlight from skylights in multiple rooms. The quiet natural setting is just a short drive into AA and Detroit metro airport and is serviced by Uber and Lyft and other services.

Guest access
A car is needed, as our street is not near public transportation. However, Uber/Lyft do serve our area (as does Uber eats and other delivery services). We have a parking space available for one vehicle for The Barn. If parking is needed for a second vehicle, please message the host to make arrangements.

The guest house at MGoPatio is an open concept studio-style living space with a separate full bath. A queen bed and queen pull-out (one of two hand-made Arts & Crafts-style couches) can accommodate up to four guests. Cathedral ceiling, Brazilian cherry floor, heated tile, custom cabinetry and quartz countertops lend a luxury feel. There's a sink, microwave, and full-sized refrigerator, plus an available coffee maker, toaster, and induction cooktop (but no range/oven).

Blackout shades on all windows (except those over the entry door and bathroom) make it easy to sleep in or turn the 55" TV into your own screening room. The bathroom shade is a top-down/bottom-up style that provides privacy while allowing lots of light in.

The ground-floor features a 1500 sq ft patio with outdoor furniture, generous seatwalls, and Michigan Stadium Views.

Guests house access includes a private entrance with a digital keypad deadbolt. You’ll be provided with your own access code prior to check-in. Guests also have access to street parking and off-street parking (especially useful and valuable during football season).

The loft offers an open floor-plan design with a designated sleeping area with a queen bed (80"x60"), dining area (which can double as a work station), living area (with a couch that folds down into a futon), kitchenette and bathroom with a standing shower. Wall-to-wall windows let in an overabundance of natural light and the 30ft patio is perfect for relaxing with a book/beverage.

This loft is on the second floor and is only accessible by stairs.

Other things to note
Please note that the kitchenette has a large 4-burner cooktop but it does not have an oven. The sofa can fold down into a full sized futon bed to accommodate a third guest. Though it is not nearly as comfortable as a bed, it works well in a pinch. Please make sure to book accordingly so that I may make appropriate bedding arrangements.

The neighborhood is very quiet, but you may hear the occasional train whistling as it passes through downtown to deliver grain to all of the amazing breweries in Michigan. There is also the potential of hearing the patrons on the patio of the distillery next door between 2pm-10pm.

It was fully remodeled in 2019 into a minimal + peaceful Scandinavian-style guest house that sits far back in a spacious backyard, with all-new landscaping, an outdoor grill, patio and fire pit. The carriage house doors have been restored to completely open on warm days/nights to bring the outdoors in. TV + sound system can be enjoyed from the outside patios.

In addition, we do have a very friendly dog, who you may meet, but she is not permitted in the carriage house even when guests are not around. When guests are around, we limit her access to the back yard to ensure our guests have undisturbed use of the natural space.

Private second story studio located in the Old West Side neighborhood. 3 blocks from Main Street, easy walking distance to UM campus and football stadium.

The space has lots of natural light with blackout shades to use as needed. It is a quiet, peaceful space located at the rear of our driveway and back yard.

Entering the space, guests will walk up one flight of stairs to a hallway. Off the hallway is a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a separate living space with fold out couch (extends to full-size), and a full bathroom with shower and heated towel rack. Visitors can enjoy a desk workspace with office chair (monitor & connections provided upon request). Wall-mounted TV with Apple TV is available, including YouTubeTV and select streaming services. Linens, towels and toiletries are provided. There is also a mini-fridge and coffee supplies.

Guest access
The space is located above our detached garage. The entrance to the apartment is located to the side of the garage. Guests will have exclusive access to the space via keyless entry - you will be provided with a custom temporary pass code for entrance using the door’s smart lock.

Other things to note
We ask that you treat this space with respect - in addition to being used by friends and family during visits, it is also used as our office space on a regular basis. Though private and separate, this apartment is still part of our home. Please treat it respectfully during your stay, and be considerate of noise levels (especially when outside, exiting or entering).
