Our B and B boasts a very generous common space inside the house. The library, the kitchen, the dining room and the living room are all nearly exclusively used by B and B guests. In fact, other than the kitchen, our family rarely even uses any of these rooms. We encourage guests to kick back and watch a movie on our living room TV. Or grab a board game from us and play it on our dining room table. Or perhaps we can arrange to build you a fire so you can relax in front of a warm fireplace.

As for our outdoor areas, guests are invited to stroll around our 10.5 acres of mostly-wooded land complete with a stream. We have a handful of lawn chairs and benches around the grounds. Originally built in 1860, our “full of history” newly renovated 6000 square foot Bed & Breakfast offers the charm of days gone by with much of the original woodwork, restored hardwood floors, and beautifully crafted fireplaces intact while enjoying the modern comforts and conveniences.
The main floor welcomes our guests to a common living room with a large screen TV and plenty of sitting room to meet with other guests, a half bathroom, a coffee bar, a breakfast area (breakfast is served daily from 8am until 10 am), and a mini bar for our guests to enjoy, board/card games, a highchair, and a full-service laundry room for our guests to facilitate during your stay.

This guest room is on the main floor & includes an on-suite bathroom.

On the second floor we have 5 fully furnished guest bedrooms with additional sitting areas in each room, fresh linens, ceiling fans, smart tv’s, and 2 full shared bathrooms. All towels and linens are provided in addition to access to extra pillows and blankets if needed. All toiletries are provided in each bathroom, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and extra items such as toothbrushes, shaving cream etc. just in case you forget to pack something. We have air mattresses and a pak n play available so that guests’ children can stay in the same room with their parents if needed.

Breakfast is served daily for short term guests from 8am-10am.

Our well-lit garden patio changes throughout the year with bursting color of its surrounding flower beds and is equipped with a BBG grill, wood fire pit, and seating. We welcome our guests to sit on our large front porch to relax as well.

We are within walking distance to downtown Mount Vernon where you will find numerous specialty shops, restaurants, and bars. In the Summer months our guests enjoy the farmers market in the square each Saturday morning from 9am until Noon and the Artisan Market each Sunday afternoon.
We are a short drive to Kenyon College, The Nazarene College, and Central Ohio Technical College.
Other local attractions such as The B & O Bike Trail, The Dog Fountain, Ariel Foundation Park & Tower, The Home of Daniel Decatur Emmett, The Woodward Opera House, Mount Vernon Memorial Theater, and a history rich community provides much to do while you visit.

We also host holistic weekend wellness retreats and individual or group sessions with our onsite well-known professionals offering a variety of healing and holistic services such as sound baths, guided mediation, grief counseling, therapeutic massage, Reiki, and medium readings. These services are booked separately through each therapist prior to your arrival. Retreats are hosted quarterly.
On-street parking is available and transportation services are occasionally offered to/from the airport etc.

Our charming Bed & Breakfast is nestled on almost 9 quiet acres with amazing sunrises, sunsets, & gorgeous night sky! You are renting the entire house. There are 5 private suites with each having their own bathroom. Sleeps 10 with 2 in each suite. Bring your friends or family for a quiet getaway! You can add on extras from Charcuterie Boards to a massage during your stay. Two of our suites have private Hot Tubs, one has a steam shower, and all other suites have jacuzzi's. This Galion bed & breakfast boasts 4 inviting bedrooms, including 1 bunk bed, 1 twin bed, and 2 queen beds.
