They offered snacks and both alcohol and non alcoholic beverages for free. The B&B is modern, environmentally friendly and comfortable. The front porch was a great place to hang out. You can walk down the street and find bakeries, great restaurants, a supermarket, bubble tea place, public library and even a cool bike shop. We highly recommend the Bexley B&B for a warm, hospitable and affordable stay while visiting Columbus and Bexley. This place is a gem! "

Welcome to Art @ 185, our family owned Art Studio home in the Heart of German Village. A prime Location, yet quiet and easy to park ! This space (filled with natural sunlight) has been created for guests to enjoy a stay in Historic German Village and Art @185 also features local art, displaying works from Open Door Art Gallery, adults with disabilities. (URL HIDDEN) Once a working art studio, it is now a cozy Studio apartment walking distance to restaurants, shops, parks and downtown.

The space
Art @ 185 is bigger brighter and better than it looks, it is quite spacious and you will not want to “judge the book by the cover .” This space was built in 1890’s and once a buggy/car mechanic garage . Currently the studio showcases original art created by Columbus artists. Founded in 2007, Open Door Art Studio empowers artists with disabilities to work with professional creative mentors in an environment of mutual respect and creative freedom. I also have several of my 96 year old father’s hand crafted birdhouses for sale . As my mom’s former working art studio, we did not want to lose sight of how this space was originally intended and are fortunate Open Door has agreed to use our space as a gallery. Be sure to pack an extra suitcase as all art is for sale. Rest assured 100% of the profits go back to Open Door and these amazingly creative adults. They love when they sell a painting !

Our studio is located in a quiet neighborhood and we are very cognizant of our surrounding neighbors. Please no loud music. If you are looking to entertain or host a party this is NOT the place for you. Our Studio provides a queen size bed and we do not encourage anymore than 2 people staying at one time. We own/rent the property next door and live around the corner. Our Radically Inspired Creative Cottage is also available on Airbnb (2 BR 1.5 Bath) We respect your privacy while here, but we do check in with our neighbors to make sure all the rules are being followed. We have ROKU and internet but honestly most people who stay in the Studio are here to explore the neighborhood and enjoy All Columbus has to offer .

The Ginny; named after the owner's grandmother who was a Victorian Village native, is as tasteful, luxurious, and comfortable as the woman herself. This new build Carriage House was built with top of the line finishes, and professionally designed to give our guests a 5 star hotel experience for their extended stay.

The space
No expense was spared in the careful construction of this property. Quartz countertops, hardwood floors, top of the line heating/AC, a Jolie Filtered Showerhead, and a professionally designed space. Thoughtful amenities to provide a perfect place to unwind after a long day of work. This home is for 30 day or longer stays for traveling professionals.

Guest access
Guests will have the full carriage house, which has a loft style design with partial walls to divide the living and bedroom. It is on the second floor, with a door access on the south side of the garage. This home is in the Short North, so on street parking is available and a tenant parking pass will be provided. Guests do not have access to the inside of the garage, and other than temporary parking to load/unload things, no parking is available in front of the garage doors. Guests will not have access to the backyard of the main house.

Other things to note
Property owner does live in the main house and is a working professional. They respect the space and privacy of their guests and ask that guests do the same.

You’ll enter through the back, where parking is available for two cars. Please pull into the driveway and continue down to the larger parking area, you'll see the Guest Home labeled "Carriage House" and to the right of the Carriage House will be open space to park your vehicles. We also have a main home on the property, so we truly appreciate your thoughtfulness when parking.

Step into comfort and convenience as you enter the entryway, your first stop for feeling right at home. Hang up your coat in the spacious closet, toss your travel-worn clothes into the washer & dryer, and freshen up with an iron, ironing board, or clothing steamer. Oh, and don’t forget to kick off your shoes at the shoe cart, we like to keep things cozy and clean around here. Now, up the stairs you go to your chic retreat!

Head upstairs to the main floor, where you’ll find a dreamy king-size bed, plus extra blankets to snuggle into...because cozy is a vibe! For my light sleepers, there’s a small fan for that perfect white noise (it’s the little things that make all the difference). 65-inch Smart TV, and a versatile table for work or dining. We've got you covered with an Anker soundbar Bluetooth speaker...because good vibes deserve great sound! Need to power up? Our charging station keeps all your devices ready to go. This carriage house is the perfect, comfortable stay for a couple or a solo traveler. Located in the heart of the Brewery District, adjacent to the German Village, the carriage house is conveniently close to Downtown, Arena District, the Convention Center, Ohio Expo Center, Franklinton, Short North and Ohio State.

The location is great for walking to bars, restaurants, parks and trails, or grabbing an Uber/Lyft, or hopping on a scooter.

The space
This is a newly constructed 600 sq ft carriage house unit located on the 2nd floor. The unit has a full kitchen, modern appliances, 75 inch Samsung Frame TV, king size bed, closet and dresser, plus washer and dryer making it the perfect escape for a couple or solo traveler.

The carriage house is located above the garage and just beyond the backyard of our main house. Access to the carriage house is from a gate entrance in the back alley where the garage entrance is, giving guests their own personal space to easily come and go at their convenience.

If you will have your own vehicle, we can coordinate parking on the garage pad.

Guest access
There is a partition in the backyard separating the guesthouse from the main house/property. Please stay on the guesthouse side of the partition so each unit has their own personal space.

Please Note: There is some construction and renovation work happening a few doors down from us. While it's typically limited to Monday–Friday during daytime hours, you may hear some noise or notice signs of nearby work during your stay. We appreciate your understanding and are happy to answer any questions!

Welcome to the Goodale Park Carriage House located by the beautiful Goodale Park, a 34 acre urban oasis steps away from the Short North Arts District. The apartment is a comfortable 2nd floor, one bedroom walk-up with cathedral ceilings and large windows for natural light. The carriage house is conveniently located a short walk from High Street with all of its shopping, restaurants, and nightlife, as well as a short walk to the Convention Center, North Market, and Arena District.

The space
The carriage house is a 2nd floor, one bedroom walk-up with a queen size bed and sleeper sofa (see floor plan in the pictures). The fully-equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, granite counter tops, ice maker, pots/pans, dishes, and utensils as well as a Keurig coffee maker and washer/dryer. There is a 50" television with Roku and several complimentary streaming services. An wireless charger, USB outlets, bottled water, and snacks are also provided.

The fully air conditioned apartment has a lot windows for natural light and ventilation on nice days. There are also ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom.

The carriage house is 2 blocks from High Street and the Short North Arts District as well as a less than 10 minute walk to the Greater Columbus Convention Center and the North Market. The Arena District, Nationwide Arena, and Express Live are an easy 15 minute walk. The Ohio State University and Downtown Columbus can be reached by car in 5 minutes or by walking or using public transportation, and the airport in 10 minutes.

Guest access
You will have full and private access to carriage house's 2nd floor apartment through separate and private exterior entrance. Parking is available on the street using a virtual permit parking pass that will be provided for your use during your stay.

Access to the carriage is through an electronic smart lock.

Electric vehicle and Tesla charging is located nearby in the Convention Center garage as well as several charging spaces located near Goodale Park.
