We provide a welcome package of essential amenities to help get your stay started comfortably! This includes toilet paper, shampoo, soap, and basic cleaning supplies. For extended stays, guests may need to purchase additional supplies as needed.

A Pack 'n Play and high chair are also available upon request.

✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1500 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). At the Palomino you are close to everything Fort Wayne has to offer! This studio loft apartment is filled with light, warmth and feels almost like a tree house. This space is full of charm, plants and coziness.

You are minutes from downtown, Purdue Campus, Memorial Coliseum, Indiana Tech, Target, Glenbrook Mall, grocery stores, coffee shops, ice cream shops and amazing restaurants!

The space
The Palomino offers a kitchen with small oven/stove, microwave, Keurig coffee maker with free coffee, Brita water filter pitcher, refrigerator and microwave. There is also a full set of pots and pans, plates, bowls, silverware, knives, mixing bowls, cooking utensils and anything else you need to make your own meals. There are two leather bar stools to enjoy your meals and coffee at the butcher block island.

The living space features two chairs to melt into with a cozy blanket after a long day or to read a book. There is a Roku for the TV with access to several streaming services. We have family games and a variety of books for you to use and enjoy during your stay!

The bedroom area offers a super comfy full bed with soft sheets and luxurious pillows.

The full bathroom has a standing shower and beautiful terra cotta tile. There is a blow dryer for use as well.

We also offer an iron, ironing board and clothing steamer.

There is a small balcony on the upper level and lower level to enjoy as weather permits!

Stairs
This unit is on the second story and does require you to climb a flight of stairs to access it.

Also, the air-conditioning until is located in the loft area of the apartment and can only be accessed by the attached ladder.

Guest access
This is a second story apartment so you will need to use a staircase to access it. It has a keypad or key card smart lock for easy check-in and access. Free street parking. Private entrance. The air-conditioning unit is in the loft area of the apartment and can only be accessed by the attached ladder.

Other things to note
This apartment is located behind our home. We do have two dogs who will not be out unsupervised while guests are on the property. They are very sweet, love people and belly rubs. The space is relatively quiet with minimal neighborhood noise.

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located home. Irish Cottage is located in downtown Ft. Wayne. The unique location was constructed as a carriage house in 1910 and completely remodeled in 2023. You will be within walking distance Parkview Field, The Embassy Theatre, The Botanical Gardens, Convention Center, Allen County Library, numerous restaurants and bars plus is convenient to the Electric Works, Clyde Theater, Glenbrook & Jefferson Point and all that the Fort has to offer!

The space
Entirely open other than the bathroom. 10' ceilings, brick walls, laundry and kitchen in the unit. Newly remodeled.

Enchanting 1 BR/1 BTH carriage house in Fort Wayne, close to amenities, but nestled amidst trees and wildlife for privacy and serenity. This second story space located minutes from downtown, Parkview and PFW still sits on a quiet 2 acre lot. The built in shelves, drawers, chef's kitchen, designated work area and ample closet space make it ideal for a longer term rental. The bedroom has a queen bed. The pull out sofa provides another queen sleep space. This is a pet free/smoke free environment.

The space
This guest home is located on the same property as the host family home. It is a separate living space and your privacy will be honored. The host family does have a friendly yellow lab. So, if you have any hesitancy about animals, let the host know prior to arrival so they can assure no accidental contact!

Guest access
This is a second story guest space, and is not handicap accessible. You will have the entire space to your self. On the day of arrival, you will receive a key code to use for access.

We are minutes from the DT Lutheran hospital. Blocks away from downtown, library, restaurants, art studios, shopping, bars, ballpark, Grand Wayne center and much more. The guest house is well equipped including a dishwasher, dual electric range, larger air fryer, stackable washer and dryer, central AC, ceiling fan, queen bed, couch converts to full, 2 smart TVs, free wifi, smart locks, off street parking with 110v or 220v (Nema 14-50) EV charging Ports. We do live on property in the main house.

The space
The home has had extensive renovations since 2017 when we purchased it.
We recently converted the original carriage house into a quaint and comfortable well appointed guest house with higher end amenities in a cozy private setting.

Our home was built by Robert and Molly (Henebery) Dewald in 1888.
Robert met Molly while he was attending college at Notre Dame and Molly was attending college at St. Mary’s. Molly was originally from Peoria, IL. The Dewald family owned a very successful dry goods company in downtown Fort Wayne.
Doctor Myers owned the home from 1949-2004. This was just his office when he was practicing medicine.

Please note: The estate owners live on the premises in the main house. You may find them enjoying, maintaining, or even visiting around the pool.

We provide breakfast groceries for short term stays. Breakfast items are specific to you and your diet and routine. For Christmas, the Carriage House is decorated for the season. Also, you’ll be located only a ten minute walk to downtown, two blocks from river greenway path, and two miles from children’s zoo rated in the top ten nationally. Great shopping a 10 min drive to the west. Botanical gardens 12 minute walk. Ballpark 10 minute walk during the season.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana.
It is just a few blocks away from the Botanical Conservatory, the Convention Center, and Parkview baseball stadium. If you visit us on the weekends during the summer, the Barr Street market is a great place to visit, and just a few blocks away. just FYI, across our Airbnb there’s a church and they help individuals in need. They are harmless we loved that the church helps people

around the corner at BP gas station. Literally the corner of the street.

This is one side of a duplex home. There is a cozy living room, dining area, stocked kitchen with coffee included, and full bath. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs including the master bedroom, and 1 bedroom downstairs.

We are just a three-minute walk across the river to beautiful downtown Huntington. Five minute drive to Huntington University and Huntington North High School. Five minute drive to the Huntington Municipal Airport. Twenty-five minute drive to Fort Wayne International Airport.

The Beck Suite: is a spacious 1st floor suite with en suite bathroom. The room features a king sleigh bed, a massive fireplace, unique hardwood floors with warm, plush area rugs and an airtub/shower. It also includes free WiFi, HDTV, and comfortable seating. Fully shuttered windows will provide you with a sense of privacy and seclusion.

As a guest of the Purviance House Bed and Breakfast, you are welcome to use the spacious Living Room/Library for your relaxation and enjoyment. Warm yourself by the fireplace, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and read a book or work a puzzle.

The formal dining room is where you will enjoy your hot breakfast each morning. Barb always has an assortment of snacks, including fresh fruit for you to enjoy. An easy to use Keurig with a wide array of coffee, tea and hot chocolate are available.

Guests have the option to be served in the dining room or have a breakfast tray brought to their room.

During your stay
We always greet guests personally and orient them to the Purviance House. Barb will provide guests with her cell number on arrival and is available to assist as needed. WiFi codes are listed in the room. To the extent guests want to interact with Brooks (Mayor of the City of Huntington) and Barb regarding the history and amenities of the house and community, we are available to visit.

Other things to note
Barb is very flexible with breakfast serving times. As a retired Registered Nurse, Barb is very accommodating with dietary restrictions. If you would like to enjoy using the various greenways, parks and trails in and around Huntington, let us know and we will let you borrow one of Brooks' (Barb's husband) many bicycles. If you have a motorcycle or bicycle that you want to store in the garage, let us know and we will do our very best to accommodate your request. Downtown Huntington is just a short three minute walk across the Little River -- you can see it from the front door. All sorts of neat shops and delicious eateries are in downtown Huntington. If you like the retro kind of experience, the Dairy Queen, the B & K Rootbeer Stand, Nick's Kitchen, and the Huntington Drive-in Theater are just a few minutes away.
