The room was large enough to have a couple friends stop by and relax before we all went to the concert. The hotel was sold out. The staff went the extra mile making sure everyone was checked in expediently. The morning front desk staff (also in charge of breakfast) was busy making sure breakfast items were being replenished, as with a sold out hotel there were MANY breakfast goers and the food ran out. I didn't get her name but she was pleasant and helpful even though some guests were being unnecessarily rude to her. The room was spacious and comfortable. Beds, although small, were comfortable with nice linens and comfy pillows. Everything was clean and well stocked. The hotel overall is starting to show its age but it was a positive experience. The shower curtain needs replacement, that was really my only issue!"

As I was checking in he was passing by, welcomed me and then proceeded to ask me what brought me to town. I responded with that I taking my state board exam for Nursing. He wished me luck and off I went to my room. The next morning I had just finished breakfast and was lounging in the lobby area to waste time. He was passing by and then proceeded to wish me luck for my exam again, which took me by surprise. The fact that he remembered a conversation from the night before and then went out of his way to send good wishes put a smile on my face and was exactly what I needed to hear. His genuine attitude and demeanor is hard to find these days! Just wanted to say thank you. I passed my exam and if I’m ever back in the Fort Wayne area I know what hotel to book. "
