It was our first trip to St Clair lake and we fell in love with it. It’s a perfect lake for boating and lake adventures, as it’s not deep, big, clean and very warm. And at the end, I just want to note how kind was Jay, the owner of the house, he answered to all our questions and was very helpful. We are strongly recommend this property and location for everyone! Located at beautiful Rochester place. The home includes three bedrooms and a pull out bed. The main bedroom has a queen size bed. The second bedroom has a bunk bed each with a single mattress and the third bedroom has a bunk bed. The top bunk is a single and the bottom is double sized. The pull out is queen sized. There is a fridge, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, bbq and coffee maker for your use. The home also has pots and pans as well as baking sheets. Cups, plates, bowls stocked in the cabinets for you to use. The outdoor patio has a high top table with umbrella and cushions on the seats. There are also 5 Adirondack chairs for around the fire pit.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the pool, basketball court, horse shoe game and play ground. There are many events that happen at throughout the summer at the rec hall. A calendar is usually posted on the board just outside the pool area. There is also coin laundry machines available and ice available for purchase. For golf times please contact the clubhouse. Located in the beautiful Rochester Place Resort, part of the Rochester Place Golf Course. Our park model trailer comes equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. A landscaped outdoor space complete with a sectional, propane BBQ, and fire pit. Inside you will find all your linens, including beach towels for use by the pool. A fully stocked kitchen, with pots, pans, utensils, toaster, Keurig and basic spices. Games and movies for kids and adults, as well as a fire stick to connect to your personal Netflix accounts.

You have full use of the trailer and the outdoor space during your stay, as well as resort amenities.

Other things to note
The pool is open for mid June until Labor Day. After Labor Day, the pool is open Thursday to Sunday, 1-7pm. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Firewood is available for purchase during office hours for $10, and ice for $4. Park rangers can also assist after 7pm. (They drive around in a Rochester Golf Cart.)

Wifi is provided by the resort, and may not always work optimally depending on the number of users online.

A single gate key will be provided when checking in to access the resort. If lost, a $25 replacement fee will be required. Additional cards may be requested at the office. The $25 deposit will be charged and refunded when the card is returned.

Boat slips may be rented in advance by contacting the office after booking. Rental fee is $20 per day, and there is an area provided to store the trailer.

Tee times and golf carts can be reserved by calling the pro shop directly.

This cozy lakefront cottage-home is fully furnished for your comfort on the southeastern shore of Lake St. Clair, offering beautiful summer sunrises and sunsets.

Shallow and warm Lake St. Clair, part of the Great Lakes system, is the connector lake between Lakes Huron and Erie, and has among the largest variety of fresh-water fish and aquatic species in the world.

The space
This one story cottage is 980 sq ft and offers 50' lake-frontage on a 322' deep lot on a dead-end road. With 2 bedrooms, the cottage can comfortably accommodate 4 persons. The second bedroom has an ensuite den/TV room with futon that could sleep an additional 2 children, or 1 or 2 adults for short stays. A self-inflating, comfortable, twin-size air mattress for 1 person is also available. Please note that there is a modest, supplementary charge for more than 4 persons and please send us a message if your group is 5 or 6 people to make sure all of you can be accommodated comfortably.

Full kitchen, dining and sitting room overlooking the lake, private full bathroom and a laundry room. Fully furnished with all necessary appliances, TV, radio, kitchen utensils and cooking equipment, towels and linens, propane and charcoal BBQs, seasonal herb and vegetable gardens, fishing dock, beach and bonfire pit.

Want to bring your boat? As the water level near the shore may fluctuate throughout the season, please message us with your boat size / boat type so we can let you know about docking options at the cottage or at nearby marinas.

You’ll have the cottage all to yourself. Enjoy lake swimming, relax on the deck, dock, beach or the expansive front and back lawns.

Rocks, stones and sharp objects including shells and zebra mussels may be on the lake bed, so aqua-socks or water shoes are recommended when enjoying the lake.

Want some exercise? Help yourself to 1 aluminum rowboat and 4 kayaks with life jackets and paddles, lawn games including bocci ball, croquet, bean bag/corn-hole, badminton, washer toss...plus a selection of board games and DVDs if Mother Nature chases you indoors.

Other things to note
As always, Beau Chalet provides ample clean sheets, blankets, pillows, linens, towels etc. But if you prefer to bring your own, just let us know if you want us to leave the beds unmade so you can make them with your own bedding when you arrive.

This is our 8th year on the Airbnb platform and WE STILL DO NOT CHARGE A CLEANING FEE! We are always thrilled to see that our guests enjoy this place as much as we do, and they take care of the cottage as if it were their own.

As peak-season and weekend accommodations are always in great demand, minimum night stays are requested for some summer dates and weekend bookings.

If you are hoping to reserve for days that are already booked / unavailable, please send a message to us. In the event of a cancellation, we will let you know immediately that your preferred dates are again available to you.

We understand that things can come up that alter you travel plans, sometimes even at the last minute. So if you do need to cancel your reservation after the time limit indicated in our cancellation policy, please let us know right away. We often have a waiting list...and if we are able to re-book your reserved dates with another guest, we're happy to refund any portion of your room rate that ends up being paid by another guest. We don't need to be paid twice, and perhaps you'll come and see us at some other time when you can.

There are two or three steps up/down to enter and exit the cottage and two steps down/up to enter and exit the second bedroom/ensuite den.

When you arrive at the Resort , show the guard your reservation and they will give you a gate card for $25.00 which is refundable upon return. You can rent a slip for $10.00 per day. Make sure you schedule it ahead of time so they can reserve you space. We do have a gate key at the cottage you can use also

Everything provided, cottage is situated in a private resort on the 16th green of a premier public golf course. 1 bedroom and easily sleeps 4, including a sofa bed. Beautiful backyard includes patio with furniture, outdoor dinning, bbq & fire pit. Easy access to boat launch & wells, outdoor pool & playground. Minutes walk to Parkside Grille 5 star restaurant with lounge and live music. Enjoy scenic ecosystem of river & lake access to boat, fish, paddle on Lake St.Clair. Sandy beach nearby!

The space
The cottage has a full sized open concept kitchen with everything you need to prepare and eat your meals (food not included). Full size fridge with freezer, gas stove, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee maker including coffee and tea, sugar and powder creamer. Basic cooking spices and salt & pepper for your convienence. Ice cube trays in freezer.

Hand and dish soap, tea towels and wash clothes, paper towel, toilet paper garbage bags and cleaning supplies are provided. ALL BED LINENS, BLANKETS AND PILLOWS, BATH AND POOL TOWELS PROVIDED! Shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided.

The bedroom has a queen size bed and lots of storage space including a closet with hangers and luggage rack. In the living room you have a pullout couch for additional sleeping space.

The washroom has a large standup shower with a shallow tub that is suitable for bathing children. Plenty of counter top and storage space on vanity. You will find a hair dryer in the drawer and a first aid kit and extra toilet paper under the sink. Hand soap provided.

Workspace: although we do not have a dedicated computer desk and chair, the kitchen island and wifi have proven to provide a suitable space to do some work from a laptop.

Step out of the living room patio doors into your private backyard oasis! Overlooking the 16th hole and surrounded by incredible views of nature. Relax on the cozy patio furniture while sipping a beverage on a warm sunny day. BBQ and propane on deck for grilling and outdoor dinning table and chairs beside. Enjoy a fire around the fire pit, wood not included but can be purchased at the front gate office. Plenty of backyard green space to throw a ball, play a lawn game or let the kids play.
Corn hole and washer toss available for your convenience.

Please note: Office hours are 9:00a.m to4:00p.m.
If you plan to check in after these hours, please let host know 2 days in advance so that we can arrange to have a gate card for you at the front gate!

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. Families, fisherman and couples will love Rochester Resort. It has something for everyone! Included is a heated pool, boat ramp, firepit and patio on sight, playground, weekly entertainment and kids activities. Also available for $ is an 18 Hole Golf Course, Boat Docks, Golf Cart rentals, snack store, Parkside Grille Restaurant and Patio and extra firewood. Be sure to keep an eye on the Hummingbird Feeders for their frequent visitors!

The space
Hummingbird Haven Cottage is centrally located in the park. The heated pool, recreation center, boat ramp and canal fishing are short easy strolls from cottage. The cottage is clean, nicely decorated and themed for Hummingbirds which frequent our feeders. An official chart of Lake St Clair is on one the interior walls so fishermen can make their game plans. Boat wells are $20/night. Basic cooking and BarBQ supplies are included. Basic sleeping and showering needs included. Yours to Enjoy!!

Hummingbird Haven Cottage is yours to enjoy for your stay. Entry through Resort gate to Lot 501. Please respect our property and let us know if you have any issues. The key and gate pass card will be available in the lock box or other arrangements. Instructions will be sent day the day before your stay. Enjoy!

Other things to note
Call Rochester Place Golf Club pro shop for tee times. Paddle boats and golf carts and boost wells are available to rent from the Resort Office. Firewood is available through the gate office as well snacks and ice cream bars!
