There is not much to do in the surrounding area in winter but it is a nice house/hot tub to hang out in. Absolutely would not recommend this area for small kids -- there are no fences along the canals."

Hummingbird Haven Cottage is centrally located in the park. The heated pool, recreation center, boat ramp and canal fishing are short easy strolls from cottage. The cottage is clean, nicely decorated and themed for Hummingbirds which frequent our feeders. An official chart of Lake St Clair is on one the interior walls so fishermen can make their game plans. Boat wells are $20/night. Basic cooking and BarBQ supplies are included. Basic sleeping and showering needs included. Yours to Enjoy!!

Our cottage is a 100 year old farmhouse situated on Lk St Clair in Ontario Ca. It is surrounded by tall pines. There is a long lane down to the lake and a deck with swim ladder and bonfire pit The inside of the cottage is all wood.floor to ceiling. There is a large living room with a fieldstone fireplace. The kitchen is completely furnished. There are two bedrooms downstairs and a full bath. Upstairs there is a bedroom which sleeps three

The space
The swimming and fishing are excellent! Lake St Clair has some of the best musky fishing in North America. There is a golf course close by and BelleRiver has a public park on the lake with swimming beach. Magnificent sunsets an be arranged! There is an old fashion screen porch to relax in.

Modern cottage located on a pond with view of the 17th green in Rochester Place Golf Club and Resort. Guests have called our location serene as it is one of the most private cottages in the resort. Open concept with 2 bedrooms; sleeps 6 including a sofa bed. Dock your boat on the resort's canal where you then have access to beautiful Lake St. Clair. Golf on the 18 hole championship course. Enjoy a BBQ on our beautiful patio or take advantage of the many family amenities the resort has to offer.

The space
Rochester is a seasonal resort and included with our cottage are all the amenities that the resort has to offer including a 5 star restaurant and patio, pool, splash pad, basketball court, horseshoe pits, marina, daily activities (July and Aug), entertainment on weekends, kids playground, laundry facilities and more! Boat slips are available for rent through the resort.

Our place has been described by guests as being tranquil and serene. It is a quiet location with an abundance of wildlife drawn in by the pond that feeds from the canals and lake. We provide 2 kayaks and 2 adult bikes for use during your stay. There is also a firepit and fire table to enjoy the peaceful nights at.

A post-rental deep cleaning service is provided, however, the expectation is that the property is left tidy (and in the condition that you found it) upon departure.

We have space for two vehicles at our unit. Overflow parking is available as well as spots to park your boat trailer if required (trailers cannot be parked at our unit). Trailers must be parked on the east side of the canal.

On the upper floor there are 3 beds (2 x double 1 x twin) and half bathroom for convenience. Outside is setup with fire pit, small bbq, dining area, and access to the water via dock with a ladder (weather permitting). Water activities can include kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, fishing and swimming.

We include a few fishing rods and some gear to try your luck. Kayaks, stand up paddle boards and some firewood are always included.
