The open concept space is great for entertaining family and friends with 50" HDTV TV in the main living space. Start your day at the coffee bar, and end it at the large granite island with dinner in the modern high end kitchen featuring a new gas stove, dishwasher, fridge and microwave should you chose to stay in rather than go out to one of the many fine restaurants. 2 private bedrooms with TV's. The luxury bathroom has a beautiful walk-in shower and double sink vanity.

Q: Why isn’t it allowing me to book just Friday and Saturday and check-out on Sunday? Can I do that?
A: Due to high demand for weekends, we have a 3 night minimum starting on Fridays. You would need to check-in on or before Friday, and check-out no earlier than Monday.

Q: Are there dishes and cooking utensils?
A: We provide plates, bowls, glasses, wine glasses, mugs, silverware, spatulas, pots, pans, cookie sheets, and a cutting board. The kitchen also has a microwave and toaster.

Q: Is the neighborhood safe?
A: Yep! We only invest in safe neighborhoods.

Q: Do I need to bring towels, a hair dryer, or linens?
A: Nope! We provide all of this!

Q: Would we be able to check-in early?
A: Unfortunately, due to the amount of time required to clean the property, I cannot accommodate an early check-in. If you are interested in checking in early, please book the night prior to your stay so that you can check-in as early as you like. We offer the same solution for checking out late: please book an additional night to check-out as late as needed.

Q: I see that you have a guest limit. I’m already at the limit for those who are spending the night, but I also have some family visiting during the day but they won’t be spending the night. Would that be ok?
A: The guest limit includes those who aren’t spending the night. As long as you don’t reach the max limit with those who are in the home at one time, it would be fine.

Q: Is there room for additional vehicles? For example, street parking?
A: We can only allow up to 4 vehicles, and we cannot offer street parking due to neighbors. If you have extra vehicles, you may park them at a local grocery store and then carpool back.

Q: Is smoking allowed outside?
A: We cannot allow smoking outside due to the neighbors, or inside the home due to the smell.

A: Sure thing! Please click on our main profile and it’ll display all our homes.

Q: Can I call you about this home before booking?

A: Although we usually direct potential guests to rely on the professional photos and my hundreds of reviews rather than view beforehand, you are welcome to schedule a viewing for a refundable $50 fee that shall be refunded should you end up booking.

A: If you do not have flights that correspond with the check-in and check-out times, we can allow you to drop off luggage on the same day as your check-in (after 11am) for a $50 fee.

Welcome to our stylish "Birdhouse" urban cottage, centrally located to downtown Cleveland in the Ohio City neighborhood. We are within walking distance to many restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, West Side Market, the best ice cream in Northeast Ohio, and on and on! You'll enjoy easy access to a lot of what Cleveland has to offer. Whether you're in town for a wedding, catching the big game, or visiting, you'll be comfortable in our quaint and thoughtful cottage.

Ohio City is a fun and vibrant neighborhood with lots to do, and we can't wait to share all the fun things to check out!

Please note that our street is an alley style; if you are driving, we will provide directions to park on a main street that has easy access to a walkway to our home. There is no parking pad or driveway for our home, but parking is free and readily available.

Our home has been updated throughout and setup with you in mind. Downstairs you'll enjoy our comfortable, bright living room equipped with a smart TV, games, and plenty of comfy seating.

Just off the living room is the dining room and first floor bedroom which features a full size bed and bedside lighting.

After the dining room you'll walk into our kitchen, with a full size refrigerator, electric stove, dishwasher, and plenty of other kitchen necessities.

By the kitchen is a full sized bathroom with a tub/shower combo and washer/dryer as well.

Heading up those lovely green stairs, you'll enter the lofted bedroom with fun angled ceilings and another full size bathroom.

The living space extends outside onto our rear patio, which features relaxing chairs, a small gas fire pit, and a bistro table toward the back.

- "Our family (parents and an adult daughter) spent the weekend at this lovely cottage for Oberlin college drop off. It was the perfect relaxing respite from an otherwise overwhelming (in all good ways) weekend. The cottage is adorabel and perfect for 2-3 people. It is comfortable and has a great covered deck off the bedroom that overlooks the field/gazebo/pond. So peaceful : ) And we've never had a rental place that was better stocked! The fridge had OJ, milk, beer, wine, 6 kinds of soda, eggs, bacon, condiments galore. The freezer had several kinds of breakfast sandwiches and ice creams. The counter had 2 baskets of packaged chips/snacks and 3 jars of candy! And the bathroom had literally 12 full size bottles of shampoo/conditioner/body wash. If you need/want it, they've thought of it : ) We highly recommend this great cottage and will surely stay again during the next 4 years while our daughter is an Obie."

The space
There are three steps to the front porch entrance otherwise the cottage is all on one floor with the exception of a second floor loft that has sleeping for two adults or children over the age of 12. The loft is comfortable for sleeping only, because of the low ceiling.

Other things to note
The backyard between the cottage and Lake Erie is on a slightly descending hill to the water. There is no fence and caution should be used at the property edge. There is no water access.
