The block walk to the beach makes us a beautiful location! We are very close to the beach but not waterfront property.
The Big sandy Beach @ Nickel Plate Public Park is 1/10th a mile away.
Spend the day relaxing on the sand and playing in the lake, or a day or two at Cedar Point or it's water park.

We have a lovely, very comfortable one bedroom, one bath unit that sleeps two, on a queen size bed. Our home is newly remodeled with a fantastic yard right on Lake Erie. The home is on a hill overlooking the lake with a million dollar view. There is no beach. There are several nice beaches close by. The unit is completely furnished and in a very convenient location. You can enjoy sitting in the large yard, relaxing, playing games, barbecuing and viewing the sunsets in the evening.

Vermilion is a quaint little town situated right on Lake Erie with its own beach and boardwalk. We are located two miles from the Public Boat Ramp in Vermilion. The downtown area has several restaurants and ice cream parlors and a very popular French restaurant. The Great Lakes Maritime Museum is also located on the north end of town. There is usually something going on downtown during the summer months; such as Music in the Park, antique car shows, in June we have a Festival of the Fish and of course we cannot forget the internationally famous Woolly Bear Festival in the fall. Who would think a little orange and black worm could have its own festival.

We are 45 minutes from downtown Cleveland and 25 minutes from Cedar Point. Kalahari Water Park and Great Wolf Lodge are just as easily accessible. Catch a Ferry to the Lake Erie Islands, Put-in-Bay and Kelly's Island.

Our cozy cottage is located a few houses from Lake Erie. Take a stroll through the neighborhood to Showse Park which has amazing views of the lake or visit Main Street beach for swimming, canoeing and more. There are dozens of great dining options for everyone; celebrate a special occasion at Chez Francois, have a meal on the water at Quaker State, order delicions BBQ from Your Pit BBQ, or visit local watering holes Rudy's (best wings) and Woodstock. Visit local shops downtown to find souvenirs.

Our home can sleep 4 people comfortably with a King size bed and a pull-out couch. We also have air mattresses. We also have a fire pit and corn hole set for outdoor enjoyment. Sit in sun room and relax. There's also a desk if you need to do some work.
1. Check-in is at 3 pm. You will receive check-in instructions at 9am the day of your check-in.
2. No smoking in the house. Smoking is allowed outside. Do not dispose of butts in the bushes or grass.
3. Please remove shoes in the house.
4. No parties or third-party visitors are allowed. Registered guests only.

- "The cottage is supplied with everything you could need. We brought our own bedding. We brought towels but there were many available. We used the washer and dryer several times. Everything was within easy walking distance- a few bocks away. The hosts responded promptly to texts, which was especially appreciated when we locked ourselves out of the cabin! A tip for renters: when you flush the toilet, pull the handle out as you push it down for stronger flush. No complaints!"

Built in 1900, this historic cottage in Lakeside has been updated to be a 10/10! Our cottage sleeps 6 with a queen bed in the primary bedroom, adult-size train-style bunk beds, and a daybed with a trundle on the sleeping porch. Cheeky Cherry is complete with charm plus all the modern amenities to create tons of comfort, including central air, a new oven, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, a gas and charcoal grills, a smart TV to stream your favorites, and high-speed internet with wifi. There is an eat-in kitchen that seats 3, dining room that seats 6 plus seating on the back deck.

There is ample parking across the street for multiple cars. To save on space, there are two mini fridges in the kitchen plus an ice maker. There is a full-size fridge with a freezer in the garage. Also in the garage are a few lawn games (corn hole and bocce ball).

We are located directly across from Cherry Park, complete with an authentic sailboat playground! Also, the Cheeky Cherry is only a few blocks from the main pool/tennis courts/fitness center. Your kids are safe to play all day in Lakeside and tell them to be back for dinner. It's a Rockwellian dream come true.

Lakeside is a hidden gem in northeast Ohio. From Memorial Day to Labor Day rentals are only available in 7 day increments (which is common in Lakeside). Check-in is 4pm on Saturday and check-out is 11am Saturday. The Cheeky Cherry Cottage is also available beginning in early May until Memorial Day and after Labor Day until the end of November with a minimum 2 night stay. Please be advised that many of the shops close in the off season.

A 10% lodging tax is collected which is paid to Ottawa County (7%) and to the State of Ohio (3%).

Bayfront Resort at Cross View is a luxury RV resort with cottages right on Sandusky Bay. This is a dog friendly cottage that accepts a well trained dog, 25# or less. Being right on the bay, vacationers will enjoy a panoramic view of the water along with close proximity to Cedar Point, Sports Force Park, downtown Sandusky, with a variety of shopping entertainment, and dining options. The Sandusky area sits right on the water and has a variety of wineries, museums, and beaches to enjoy. It is also a short trip on the Jet Express or Milller's Ferry to Put in Bay or Kelleys Island. The vintage Cottage, lovingly restored, is one of six on a one-acre property on the southern shore of Lake Erie. The Cottage sits approximately 350 feet away from the shoreline. The Cottage is approximately 450 sq feet (think tiny house!) and features two double beds, a shower bath, Roku television, air conditioning, and a full kitchen. The sleeper sofa provides an extra sleeping option for a total of five persons stay. Linen and towels are provided. 110 feet of Lakefront (size of beach dependent on Mother Nature). The space
After a fun day at the islands or fishing for walleye, take a soak in the on site hot tub, before walking to the Port Clinton pier and Lighthouse to enjoy the sunset over Lake Erie. Steps away from downtown Port Clinton and the Jet Express ferry to Put in Bay, you can walk to a myriad of restaurants and drinking establishments from the Love Shack. It is located just outside of the MORA District, which allows you to enjoy your alcohol beverages outside. You can grab your favorite beverage and meal to go, and have a seat to enjoy live music 5 days a week (seasonally) in The District. End your night with a fire in the backyard fire pit before retiring to one of 2 bedrooms, both with queen size beds and blackout blinds.

You will enter through the backyard, outfitted with a hot tub, fire pit, grill, and outdoor dining table set. The backdoor of the home opens to a foyer, where behind the folding doors you will find a washer and dryer (along with detergent/dryer sheets). The smaller bedroom is to your left, along with a cubby holding your beach towels. The bathroom will be ahead to your right, the large shower includes shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and a blow dryer is hiding under the sink. The main bedroom is right outside the bath. Both bedrooms are colorfully decorated, with new queen beds, a closet and luggage rack. The kitchen/living room is open concept. There is dining seating for 4, and the basics you will need are supplied including coffee and tea, basic spices. The Keurig will brew either a single cup, or an entire pot for your group. A blender, toaster, cookie sheet and cake pan are provided. The 42” Roku HDTV is set up to stream your favorite entertainment.

The large driveway provides offstreet parking (2 cars) and has room for a boat on a trailer, but the house has a maximum capacity of 4 adults.

The house was very clean, smelled fresh and the pictures does not do justice for this place. Walked in and found Champaign flutes and a welcome note. Was able to celebrate my birthday morning with mimosas ! We used the Miller Ferry and the drive was only 20 minutes which made it worth it. The backyard was an oasis by itself ! The fire pit and the hot tube was used each night. We spent hours at night playing Yahtzee, enjoying some quiet music and the fire. This place had everything you could need while staying somewhere . Already making plans to book again ! 15/10 would recommend!"

Cottages are vintage, from an era when families came to the Vermilion area on the electric railroad from Cleveland, Toledo, Detroit, etc to relax in the sunshine and enjoy Lake Erie. Located four miles west of beautiful Vermilion, a great place on a Great Lake filled with shops and restaurants.
The one room Cottage is 20 x 20 with a separate shower bath. A kitchenette (Two burner electric stove, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator) is in one corner of the room. Free WiFi. Think 'Tiny House'!
Guests walk to the large waterfront backyard for the magnificent view. Walk in the water sandy beach, terraced decks to view amazing sunsets. Campfire ring for making s'mores (firewood provided), gas & charcoal grills with picnic tables located near the Cottages.

A sandy beach is located on the east edge of the sandstone deck which allows guests to access the water. The entire beach (110 feet) area is sand and the water depth gradually increases to a depth of 4 feet, 60 feet out into the water, perfect for swimming or using a floatie on the water. The Heron House is a very unique location on the Sandusky River. The house was built in 1910 and hosts many historical stories. River access gives this home the most benefit, as our guests can jump in the fresh water and relax or hop on their boat and race to a nearby attraction.

It's also nearby the Lake Erie Shores and Islands hosting thrills at Cedar Point and fun on Put-in-Bay or Kelley's Island.

Plaz Vilka Beachfront House sleeps 6 comfortably, up to 8 if small children. Additional cottages available across the drive if more guests in your party. A private backyard between the House & the Patio Kitchen is for House guests only and includes a gas grill, a picnic table, and outdoor seating.

Many guests come for the location of being close to Cedar Point Amusement Park, Vermilion, and surrounding tourist attractions. The private backyard immediately behind the Beachfront House is reserved exclusively for Guests of the Beachfront House with its own BBQ grill and seating.
Guests can also access the large waterfront backyard*: fire pit, with firewood provided, and multiple seating areas to view the water & sunsets.
The terraced decks are accessible by walking down the grassy ramp on the east side of the property. Three sandstone decks with outdoor seating at the waterfront offer great views of the Lake & its awesome sunsets.
The lower sandstone deck at the waterfront, accessible from a second set of sandstone stairs, is large enough for small weddings/cocktail parties
If accessibility is an issue, views can also be enjoyed from on top of the bluff.
A sandy beach** is located on the east edge of the property which allows guests to access the water. The entire beach (110 feet) area is sand and the water depth gradually increases to a depth of 4 feet, 60 feet out into the water, perfect for swimming or using a floatie on the water.

*Please note the large waterfront backyard is also shared with guests of Plaz Vilka's Cottages.

We decorate for seasons and/or holidays. Guests with babies and young children have access to a pack-n-play, high chair, wagon, umbrella stroller, toddler tables and toys. There are also children's sippy cups, bibs, and dinnerware in the cupboards. We even have an attached drop down potty seat on one of the toilets!

Our property is located in a historic area of Port Clinton which is a block away from the train depot that once transported local families to Cleveland and Toledo. You can still see remnants of the entrance to the depot.
Fulton Street, outside the front windows, was once a pathway used by Indians to portage their canoes from the north river (Portage) to the Sandusky Bay and back.

The building most recent occupancy was a three chair barber shop for thirty eight years. It has been completely renovated with new plumbing, electrical wiring, flooring, ceiling tile, drywall, heating and central air conditioning.

Location, location, location! Island View Cottages is situated on 4 acres of private lakefront property on South Bass Island, city of Put-In-Bay, Ohio. There are two cottages on the property, Lakefront and Yellow, and both have access to the break wall and ramp for fishing, swimming and simple relaxing.

The space
The Yellow cottage welcomes you with a screened-in front porch, with views of the expansive backyard and Lake Erie. There are two bedrooms, a living room with dinette area, kitchen and bathroom. The Yellow cottage sleeps six with a Queen in the master bedroom, two twins in the second bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa. The kitchen is stocked with basic utensil and professional linen service ensures every comfort of home.


The real joy of Island View Cottages comes from outside! Your cottage has a charcoal grill, firepit, a picnic table and outdoor chairs to make your time at the lake enjoyable! You’re welcome to bring your own chairs, yard games and coolers to fully maximize your time with us.

Other things to note
The Yellow cottage of Island View Cottages is pet-friendly and no more than 2 pets may accompany a single reservation. All pets must be leashed when visiting common areas and pet owners are responsible for their pet’s waste pick-up and disposal. Island View Cottages is not responsible for accidents or injuries to guests or property involving pets.

$100, non-refundable, security deposit is required at time of booking. No unregistered pets are permitted on the property unless prior approval has been provided by management. Failure to obtain prior approval will cause a $300 charge to your credit card on file and/or you will be asked to leave the property without a refund.

Relax and unwind with the whole family at this peaceful cottage on the river. Beautiful water views from every room! Parking is available for 2 small cars or 1 larger vehicle, right in front of the deck. We have kayaks, bicycles and a fire pit for you to use during your stay.

2 story private riverfront cottage. 3 bedrooms and 1 bath are upstairs and the downstairs level has the living room, kitchen and half bath. Outside tucked away is a private outdoor shower. There are both upper and lower decks and water views from every room! All 3 bedrooms have smart TV’s, as well as the living room. 3 kayaks are on site and available to use and launch right from the house, and there are beach cruisers for riding around town and to the beach. There are lounge chairs as well as a fire pit area right on the dock. Don’t forget firewood!

We have kayaks and bicycles available for your usage while renting the home. Due to this, we require waivers to be filled out by everyone in your party, prior to your trip.

The space
The entire living area has hardwood floors and wood ceilings with an open concept design. The great room has a leather sectional sofa and a recliner. A 50-inch flat screen TV and sound bar with Wi-Fi so you can get your favorite shows on Netflix.

The two bedrooms downstairs each have a double bed, dressers and closet. The upstairs loft bedroom has two double beds with a dresser. There are ceiling fans in each of the rooms with two air-conditioning units that cool the entire cottage. Two bathrooms, each has an over-sized shower.

The kitchen has plenty of storage including a pantry with a conventional stove, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker and filters, toaster, crock-pot and hand mixer. Spices and seasonings are included. The large dining table seats eight guests.

Enjoy a beautiful Middle Bass evening while grilling out on the deck which looks out on the golf course and lake. A large gas grill is provided with plenty of out door seating -- 2 lounge chairs, love seat, and a table with an umbrella.

On the ground level is where the second full bathroom is located, along with a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience. Included for your outdoor enjoyment we have 2 kayaks, bikes, golf clubs, horse shoes, corn hole, tabletop shuffleboard and much more for your use.

Just minutes from the shores of Lake Erie! Cozy Anchor Cottage is an original Lakeside property, located outside the gates, and steps from the Village of Marblehead. The cottage, built in the late 1800's, is newly renovated and offers plenty of outdoor entertaining space.

The space
The cottage is newly renovated with a fully equipped kitchen, dining space, living room, sunroom, and full bathroom with shower. Starter toiletries provided. Washer and dyer on site.
