This cottage is nestled off of the main road. It is within minutes of SR70 and SR75. The community is quiet and woodsy. It's within walking distance of one of the best parks around. 200+ acres of hiking, free fishing, and the best part... no fishing license required. There is a small waterfall at the park. This area was also the home of many Shawnee Indians.

It makes it difficult (but not impossible) to put the clothes from the washer to the dryer. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely book there again the next time we visit."

Peaceful cottage on Main Street, just outside the business area. Walk to shops and restaurants or bike .6 miles to the Little Miami Scenic Trail. Equipped kitchenette sufficient to prepare light meals, outdoor grill, patio and lawn area for outdoor games. Queen bed and Queen sleeper sofa. There is room inside for bike storage.

- "We were glad to have a safe and quiet neighborhood The house was good enough for our needs." - "Property was extremely reasonable. Questions answered immediately and in a quiet location. It's an older home that's in need of updating especially the bathroom. Only 1 electrical socket in each of the bedrooms. Second Bath in basement. Narrow and steep stairs low bulkhead, no rail. Kitchen was stocked with basics, but couldn't use the microwave with the toaster without blowing a fuse. Living room furniture has passed it's prime. Great furnace and no issues with hot water."

The cottage sits at the end of a private gravel road on 3 acres. As you slowly make your way down, release your cares and prepare to relax at this secluded hideaway. Please keep speed low out of respect for the neighbors and excess dust. Also be cautious of uneven gravel in some areas. The farmhouse driveway is at the end of the road at the loop. There is plenty of parking space on the driveway.

Shared Spaces:
The chicken coop is shared with the farmhouse next door. There are separate gates from each side for guests to visit the hens.

All 3 bedrooms are upstairs, The property has a large living space, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area with a farmhouse style dining set for 4. The basement has a full bathroom, washer/dryer, and a man cave. Roku TV and office area are on site. The newly refurbished property is at a location with easy access to choices of restaurants,neighborhood bars, and grocery shopping. Dishes, towels,WIFI provided. NOTE: Loud parties and drug use are strictly prohibited in this quiet suburban property .

- "The check-in process was easy, and found the house with no issues in a very quiet neighborhood and subdivision. The area surrounding the house is very clean and neat and quiet. However, the home is very outdated. From the very beginning, all of the utensils in the drawers, including pots, and pans, and plates were extremely dirty and dusty. Window shades were under size for the windows, and look like they were bought at a yard sale, and just thrown up there. The doors were falling off hinges not even screwed in. The wiring in the closets was not done to legal specifications, and some of them just taped together or use extension cords. Pass-through opening some walls to other outlets. Several outlets did not have covers near the beds. The upstairs floor vent was dented in with sharp edges, causing us to cut our toes when we use the sink. The lights flickered and three rooms with one switch being used. We found out on our last day that the hot water heater exhaust vent was not connected, causing dangerous carbon monoxide to be vented into the basement. This would be a cute place to stay. Yes, the work was done properly and by professionals. It was very evident that it was done very quickly in order to save money, and to get it rented as quickly as possible."

There is On street parking & there is parking in the lot (ONLY after 5 PM until 7:30 AM. )
Please note the parking lot is used by the business across the street from 8 to 5 Monday through Friday. If you park in the lot during business hours you will get blocked in so make sure you are out of lot before 8 am.
On Saturdays the parking lot is used for a Farmers market starting at 7 am to 3 pm. On Saturdays the parking lot is available after 3 pm and all day Sunday for parking.
Other things to note
We do have 3 apartments in this building. Please consider other guests as you enter quietly on the steps. Please keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM. Remember to smoke in the smoking area by the fence. Thank you.

This 1920s cottage has been recently renovated and completely updated. It includes two bedrooms on the second floor -- one with a queen bed and another with two twins. There’s also an office on the main floor with a futon that converts to a full bed, perfect for guests who don't do stairs. On the main floor, there's a full bathroom.

There's a dining room, full kitchen, and a cafe table that looks out over the backyard and our nearby train track, ideal for "trainspotters." About that train ... it's charming, but if you're sensitive to noise, you may want to choose another spot!

Have pets? They are welcome to enjoy our large (but unfenced) yard!

Finally, you can expect all the amenities you would want: a dishwasher, washer & dryer, AC/heat, a hairdryer, coffee maker & coffee, and lots of blankets if you need to snuggle up on a cool evening.
