- "I’ve been traveling as part of my career for over 2” years, so being as I choose to stay in rentals instead of hotels, I’ve stayed in hundreds of rentals across our country. Travel around 9-10 months of the year on average. That being said, this is one of the best places I’ve stayed in all around. Andrew apparently put a lot of thought, planning and execution into this property. Zero complaints at all about the property, location, communication with owners, property being well stocked or anything else. Not only that but I was actually very pleased with everything. “Not easy to do with me.” I keep my reviews very fair and call things as they are in my opinion and I can’t say anything negative about this one. I am not a fan of the Dayton Ohio area at all. Even though we have family there, we avoid it unless it’s necessary that we be there for some VERY SPECIAL reason yet Andrew’s place has me looking forward to the next time we are there. Maybe even looking forward to it now. Definitely know where we will stay from now on."

The Wildflower House is located right downtown Yellow Springs making it the best locations for the ultimate YS stay. With just a couple minutes walk to all restaurants, shops, hiking in Glen Helen and the local brewery, it truly doesn’t get any better! This is a quiet older neighborhood that’s just a 3 minute walk to downtown Fairborn and just a 1 minute drive to the entry gate of Wright-Patterson AFB. Our central location is less than 15 minutes to: I-70 @ 675 , Wright state college & the Nutter center, The Rose amphitheater.

The house is located on the edge of the city’s FORA ( Fairborn outdoor refreshment area ) which will allow you to buy drinks in the downtown bars and carry them around while walking the downtown area all the way to our home.

The city hosts a “food truck rally” the 2nd and 4th Wednesday each month ( March-October) , a large St. Patrick’s day gathering ( 10,000 people strong ) , a huge Halloween celebration with help from FOYs Halloween stores that take up almost a quarter of main st. Dayton’s Oregon district is about 30 minutes away.

The AIr force base assists in the forth of July celebrations for Fairborn and puts on the Dayton air show in July. The Air Force museum is open year round and free admission.

Note: Wright-patt AFB is NOT a full operating airport. It is a testing and design AFB that has very minimal noise during daylight hours and virtually no noise at night. You will hear taps and reveille daily and when needed warning alerts for approaching severe weather on their public address speakers.

We have security cameras located in the front and the back of the building facing the doors. This location is near an active train track, so if you have sensitivity to noise, this unit would not be for you.

If you have a pet or service animal, please clean after. You may walk your pet in the backyard but please please collect your pet’s droppings. $50 fee if I have to clean your pet’s or service animal’s droppings. Same as if I have to wash your dishes. Your space is a private bedroom in a small, three-bedroom ranch home in a quiet neighborhood on the edge of town—near a school, bike path, and park. This summer, we have some trips planned away, we may have a second bedroom available for you or another guest to book. A large smart TV offers local channels and apps. The kitchen is equipped for cooking, with a Keurig, kettle, and a selection of coffee and tea. Washer/dryer and dining table are also available.

TV IS NOT HERE !!This place is set up for people that want a long term or short terms stay. It's cleaned and ready for you! All utilities will be included. But please be mindful of utilities especially the lights. Please cut off all lights when you’re not using them. There is also a coin op washer and dryer on premises for your convenience, but you are responsible for your own detergent etc. You will be responsible for your own WiFi or pay an additional fee for it.

The space
This building is only a few feet away from Walmart, restaurants, gas stations, University of Dayton, bus stops. It's only about 10 minutes from the Oregon district. It's also only 10 minutes away from the Dayton Mall where you can shop and find a lot more restaurants etc.

Guests are allowed to use the washer and dryer which is available in the basement. Guests are allowed to bring their own food and drinks. Do not drink or eat anything that you haven’t paid for or gotten permission for. Guests are also allowed to use whatever is in the apartment.
