- "We stayed at this little ranch while in town for baseball at Grand Park. This house is in the middle of a very affluent area, there are a lot of restaurants and bars within driving distance. Also a nice area with some restaurants and shopping within walking distance, if you feel up for walking through a neighborhood with beautiful tree lined roundabouts and well manicured mansions. We had lunch and a drinks at Danny Boy (the blood orange margarita was fantastic). We were the first people to book and stay at this home and the owner, Tom, was very communicative and extremely encouraging to let him know if he needed to tweak anything for future guests. I sent him a small list of a few minor things that could make your stay more comfortable. I trust he will take those suggestions into consideration. It’s good to note this is an older home and does have well water. I grew up on a farm with well water so it was nothing new to me! Just know that sometimes the toilet water can look a little rusty. The refrigerator offers filtered water for drinking. There is a washer/dryer available in the garage, which is great for trips with baseball uniforms or anyone who just likes to go home with cleaned clothes. The house has an eclectic style, soft blue walls, mismatched furniture and the back bedroom was extremely comfortable. Overall, good stay in a nice area!"

Large deck which looks out to a small pond. Garage is heated with room for one car to park. Garage has a 240 volt outlet for EV charging. Further parking is available in driveway and on the street. House has two separate bedrooms with ceiling fans and queen beds. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. Open living space with a 52-inch Smart TV (photo shows the previous smaller TV) DVD and VCR player. Master bedroom has a 43 inch Smart TV, and second bedroom a smaller Smart TV. High speed wireless internet + an HP LaserJet Pro M118DW b/w printer. Sleeps 4 adults comfortably. A pack-and-play is provided for our younger visitors (If the pack-and-play is used, the guest must disassemble and pack it property, an extra fee will be charged if the cleaning crew has to do this). Please note there is no land-line telephone. Guests will need to use their cell phones to make calls. Security cameras monitor the outside of the house.

Both bedrooms, kitchen and living room have high-speed USB charging outlets. There is also an eight outlet power strip with one USB low speed charging port, as well as an "octopus" cable that will charge just about any modern USB device.

CANCELLATION POLICY - if you need to cancel during the "no refund" period, which begins two weeks before you scheduled arrival date, we will attempt to re-rent for those days. Please note that for reservations over 29 days, 50% will be refunded if cancelled at least 30 days prior to check-in date, and 100% if cancelled at least 60 days prior to check-in date.

- "I had a lovely stay at this beautiful home! It is truly in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. There was plenty of room for me and my family, and the host provided plenty of fun things to do (magazines, board games, nice big TVs with internet access for watching movies). The yard looked beautiful too, but I visited in the winter so I did not have a chance to spend time outdoors. The master bathroom was especially nice with a rainfall showerhead... so luxurious! The host was kind and very communicative, keeping in touch even though I had no problems during my stay. I would definitely stay here again."

You'll have plenty to do in the home, situated on 1-acre in the heart of central Indiana, with a fully finished basement complete with arcade games and a dance floor! Let this home take you back while you reminisce about your childhood and enjoy all the retro decor.

Each room has been meticulously decorated with authentic 1970s decor, much of it original to the home:

Master bedroom - includes all the original furniture and original royal blue curtains, a new Sealy mattress, high thread-count sheets, and has an attached master bathroom with beautiful original baby-blue fixtures. Includes plush bath towels and soaps.

Second bedroom - decked out in purple to match the original purple shag carpet and purple curtains, includes a queen bed and vintage furniture and decor from Florida.

We have even included some vintage 1970s clothing in the closet, if you want to dress up and do your own photo session!

Third bedroom - with a custom painted mushroom mural on the focal wall, this bedroom includes 2 twin beds, which could be moved together for a king bed, if that better fits your needs. This room includes the original yellow and green shag carpet.

Down the hall, you will find a linen closet, stocked with toilet paper and extra towels, as well as the hall bath, which includes the original avacado green fixtures.

The formal dining room is decorated with the original floral curtains and all original dining room furniture, along with vintage dishes. Furniture in the formal living room is original and includes a vintage TV/Radio/Record player, along with an organ and the original curtains and sculpted carpeting.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need to cook a meal, and boasts an avacado green refrigerator and stove, along with a matching sink. (note: dishwasher is non-functioning). There is a crockpot, functional vintage microwave, and booster seat for the little one.

Family room is cozy and retro, including a console TV, which works and is hooked to satellite service. There is a sliding patio door which opens up to the back patio with retro patio furniture, and a peaceful and large back yard.

Basement includes the original red shag carpet, and in addition to a bar area and a cozy sitting area, there is a dance floor which has a table for a gaming area, a cabinet full of retro games, a ping-pong table, fooseball table, air hockey table, vintage bowling machine, pool table, skee-ball machine and an arcade game. There is also a laundry room in the basement, which includes a vintage harvest gold washer and dryer.

Guests who stay here will be taken back to the 1970s, to a simpler time. Please note, many of the items in this home are original to the home, and most items are vintage, therefore guests should understand items in the home are not always in new condition.
