This is a convertible couch that makes a single bed in my office. It is the size of an XLT. Best for short stays. A 2nd floor bedroom with
a mini-fridge, desk and chair, a small bit of hanging space alarm clock, pitcher and glassware for water. The 1.5 baths are shared among all guests and there is kitchen access as well. This room is generally available during busy weekends.

The space
1) (especially light sleepers) The house is located across the street from a level one trauma center that operates a helipad and a busy emergency room. As a result, there may be noise from helicopters and ambulances at all hours, as well as bus noise from 7 am to midnight.

2) if stairs are difficult for you Aunties Rest will not be the best fit. The flight to the second floor is a bit steep.

3) For drivers, at this time there is limited free on street parking on the west side of the house.

4) This is a allergen minimal household we try to keep animals, dust, smoke, perfumes and scents to a minimum in common areas.
This property is 100% non-smoking. and Substance free. This includes the grounds. Smoking on the property can result in a fee of $100 for smoke mitigation and cleaning.

This four-bedroom single family home in Champaign is the perfect place to stay during your time here. Most of this beautiful home has been renovated and has been designed to accommodate guests and their needs. We invested greatly into this home and hope you enjoy the beautiful new bathroom. Lastly, we do have a Ring doorbell camera that has the ability to record video and sound.

The space
This is a four-bedroom ranch style home is nestled in the historic portion of Champaign and although this home was built in the early 2000's, many of the surrounding homes belonged to attorney's and educators from the University of Illinois. Many of the neighbors are graduate students at the University of Illinois or are in Champaign to find work, as Champaign is the largest city in the area. This home is also close to Urbana, which includes the Champaign County Courthouse, where Abraham Lincoln practiced law before becoming the President of the United States.

During your stay
Historically, most guest keep to themselves and are pretty busy when staying in our home. Many of our guests are busy visiting the University of Illinois or a type of event like a conference. Guests may expect to interact as much as they would like to with other guests. We have found that most of our guests are friendly and do not have a problem with sharing community spaces during their stay.

This home is located close to MTD bus stops including the Lavender Line which can take you all over the City of Champaign. The home is situated less than 2 miles from the University of Illinois.

Pull the blackout shades down for a comfortable and restful nights sleep. The 3rd bedroom is located on the lower level with black out shades, a comfortable bed and closet space. Just around the corner you will have a full private bathroom with a tub and shower. The basement is set up as a dance studio so there is plenty of room for activities! Upstairs you'll find a sunny sitting room perfect for sipper coffee & reading a book. Weather permitting, the back yard and patio feel like an oasis. Enjoy the grille and firepit!
