A private country escape in the heart of the suburbs on a 13+ acre gated estate property with old world charm! Accommodations include a semi-attached carriage home w/dedicated garage parking, fully equipped kitchen, W/D, access to commercial style fitness center, indoor half bball court with pickleball & plenty of outdoor living and areas to explore.

The space
The main living area of our guest space is the carriage house, which is on the 2nd floor of a garage. The guest space consists of an open concept living space including a main sleeping area which has a king sized bed, living room, kitchen, dining nook, and workspace area all in the same space. Very similar to a loft.
The open space creates a cozy, warm environment for re-connecting with loved ones and reminds us all to slow down and read a book, play board games, write a letter, or simply sip your coffee while overlooking the pond and 13 acres of natural beauty.
The one closed off bedroom is a bunk room, which consists of 2 XL twin beds, a small dresser and comfy sitting area. No TV.
There is a large, full bathroom where vanity and shower/toilet area are separated by a pocket door.
The kitchen, while quaint, is still fully equipped with everything you need and would expect at your own home to make any sized meal.
The carriage house is completely private and not shared with the owner during your stay.
Below the carriage house is a heated garage, which all guests can take advantage of during their stay, unless they choose to park in the street, which is also allowed. The laundry area is also in the garage.
On the ground floor is also the fitness center, which has commercial level equipment and has something for everyone. Cardio, free weights, yoga mats, medicine balls, specialty machines and beyond!
Then there is the indoor basketball court. It's 40'x60', so not only does it make a great place for half court basketball, it also has lines drawn in for regulation pickleball. Just roll the net in place and you're ready to go! The basketball court arguably has the best views on the property. You have a front and center view of the beautiful pond and fountain.
The pond seems to attract all kinds of wildlife-ducks, blue heron, deer, fox, even bald eagles!
The large gazebo has rocking chairs and side tables and walks out to a fishing dock where you can drop a line in our stocked pond, or simply sit in the adirondack chairs and relax. Maybe even a lake side picnic!
Between the fitness center and the basketball gym is the "gym kitchen" and bathroom. Although shared with the owner, it's rarely used. It's great if you prefer to have a bit more space to make and serve a meal and gather with loved ones and friends.
The full bathroom consists of a private toilet room, infrared sauna and large shower.
Right outside the basketball gym, looking out to the pond is your private patio under a pergola with a Weber grill, dining area, seating area and large custom gas fireplace.
Immediately to the North is a large, open and vacant part of the property that is great for flying kites, picnics, playing sports or just day dreaming!
For an additional/higher cost, and by request, we do have the ability to accommodate more guests staying on the property in a fun basketball themed sleeping arrangement in the basketball gym. Please inquire for more info!

Since the property owners live on site, we do our best to properly communicate which areas are shared with the owner versus private for guests. Please refer to all photo descriptions as well as the birds eye photo that label the various areas. Upon check-in, a more detailed layout will be provided. Here is a general breakdown below:

*If it's not noted above, it's not an area permitted for guests. However, if unsure, or you have special requests or needs, please ask! We will do our best to accommodate all reasonable requests.
Other things to note
-Please be mindful that the owners do live on site. Please treat the property as your own.
-We do have two Australian Shepherd dogs that are professionally trained and are very well behaved and you will likely see them on the property. Our boys loves kids and meeting new people in general! However, if anyone in your group is nervous around dogs or pets in general, please let us know.
-For 2 night stays, we do charge a cleaning fee of $100.
