Our roomy cottage is the perfect island getaway for families and friends to have fun and unwind. Centrally located, yet off the beaten path - it's walking distance to all of the downtown action. There's also plenty of entertainment space both inside and out to comfortably gather and stretch out.

The large open floor plan gives you the chance to get everyone together. The fully stocked kitchen leads into the large main living area with plenty of lounge and dining seating for everyone.

Outside you'll enjoy the spacious deck and large treed lot - plenty of sun and shade for everyone. You can take your meal outside with the propane grill and large outdoor dining area. The fire pit provides a relaxing night time gathering spot.

The 3 bedroom cottage has 3 queen beds, 2 twin beds and a queen sized memory foam sleeper sofa and can sleep up to 10 people in beds.

2024 Update: All new flooring and paint throughout the home. New mini-split AC/Heating units in each of the bedrooms and main living room. New beds and mattresses in all the bedrooms. Kitchen remodeled in 2022 and bathrooms in 2018.

This 1 bedroom cottage is within walking distance to downtown. Restaurants, shopping, wineries, family activities, and nightlife are all within a 1/2 mile. A large driveway to park your car or golf cart is available directy in front of the cottage if you choose. Easy ground level access with high vaulted ceilings, full bathroom, a full kitchen, and a pull out couch. Perfect for small families! Cottage has separate entrances and complete privacy. However, this cottage is attached to an islander's family residence that live there full time. Sorry, no bachelor/bachelorette parties. Owners will confirm number of guests at check in. This cottage is best suited for 2 adults or a small family. With a queen bed and a pull out couch, there is not a lot of personal space if you aren't used to sleeping together.

The grounds include the main house, built in 1936, a 56' By 54' open brick cobblestone courtyard, the former tool shop, and a more modern two story waterfront home with an apartment below. Dock your boat along the large 50' X 60' L-shaped dock overlooking Put-in-bay Harbor.

We have 2 Lake Front homes available for seasonal rentals. These homes are adjacent to one another and can be rented together or individually. The listed rates for this property is for rental of one house and the other house can be added for the same rate if available.

Veteran-owned cottage in the Island Club. Pool is 100 feet away visible from the main deck. Located on a less-traveled road in the complex, giving it a quieter feel. 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, this home can sleep up to 8 guests. Welcome to our little paradise! It’s a small villa with all of the amenities to have a peaceful and memorable stay. Access to pool, hot tub, bar and restaurant. Great for an island getaway. Pet friendly! NOTE!!! Our calendar availability is set up to manage cleaning access between guest. Longer stays may be accommodated upon request with sufficient notice. The space
We strive to make this space as comfortable as possible so you are able to enjoy it as much as we do.

The kitchen comes equipped with a full size refrigerator, microwave and electric oven with stove cooktop. We also have you covered on plates, cups, napkins, cooking and eating utensils.

The space itself sleeps 6 with a master bedroom, loft bedroom and full pullout couch. There is also a love seat and small dining room table for additional seating.

Some of the other perks include a full bathroom, two window air conditioners, Roku, WiFi, and big deck perfect for enjoying the island air.

We are pet friendly so don’t forget to bring your four legged family member along for the adventure!

Guest access
Our villa is located in St. Hazards where guests are able to enjoy the pool and hot tub within the resort. The restaurant serves great food, serves the drinks strong and is accompanied by live entertainment on most weekends. We are also in walking distance to the other great bars and restaurants on the island. Call or visit the main office to get information on renting golf carts. St Hazards also can provide shuttle rides to and from the ferry for a small fee.

Other things to note
Please check with the Miller Ferry Boatline for ferry times as they are subject to change. If you are planning on taking a vehicle you will need to make a reservation with the ferry. You can make these reservations up to 2 weeks in advance. If you do not bring a car over, there is a shuttle that can transport you to the villa from the dock. Golf carts are also available at St. Hazards.

It’s important to note that although our villa is within the St. Hazards community, we have no control when they decide to close the pool, restaurant hours etc.

Reminder: We are on an island! We do have limited resources. A lot of the island utilizes well water, however, we do provide bottled water that we would suggest using for drinking and cooking.
Although you can find amazing natural treasures on the island, you might also find that staying on the island the possibility of attracting bugs and ants inside the villa is higher. We would suggest trying not to leave any food, or lights on/doors open when you are not inside. Thank you!

Location, location, location! Island View Cottages is situated on 4 acres of private lakefront property on South Bass Island, city of Put-In-Bay, Ohio. There are two cottages on the property, Lakefront and Yellow, and both have access to the break wall and ramp for fishing, swimming and simple relaxing.

The space
The Yellow cottage welcomes you with a screened-in front porch, with views of the expansive backyard and Lake Erie. There are two bedrooms, a living room with dinette area, kitchen and bathroom. The Yellow cottage sleeps six with a Queen in the master bedroom, two twins in the second bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa. The kitchen is stocked with basic utensil and professional linen service ensures every comfort of home.


The real joy of Island View Cottages comes from outside! Your cottage has a charcoal grill, firepit, a picnic table and outdoor chairs to make your time at the lake enjoyable! You’re welcome to bring your own chairs, yard games and coolers to fully maximize your time with us.

Other things to note
The Yellow cottage of Island View Cottages is pet-friendly and no more than 2 pets may accompany a single reservation. All pets must be leashed when visiting common areas and pet owners are responsible for their pet’s waste pick-up and disposal. Island View Cottages is not responsible for accidents or injuries to guests or property involving pets.

$100, non-refundable, security deposit is required at time of booking. No unregistered pets are permitted on the property unless prior approval has been provided by management. Failure to obtain prior approval will cause a $300 charge to your credit card on file and/or you will be asked to leave the property without a refund.

Amazing location in Burgundy Bay, a private community with a 9-hole, par 3 golf course, marina and pool. Cottage has 3 bedrooms that sleeps 8. Ground level features Full bath and laundry area. First floor has 2BR, Kitchen,full bath, LR with access to deck w/ gas grill and seating. Second floor loft has two beds. The house is on the golf course only 150 yards from the pool and marina. WiFi and YouTube is complimentary.

The space
The entire living area has hardwood floors and wood ceilings with an open concept design. The great room has a leather sectional sofa and a recliner. A 50-inch flat screen TV and sound bar with Wi-Fi so you can get your favorite shows on Netflix.

The two bedrooms downstairs each have a double bed, dressers and closet. The upstairs loft bedroom has two double beds with a dresser. There are ceiling fans in each of the rooms with two air-conditioning units that cool the entire cottage. Two bathrooms, each has an over-sized shower.

The kitchen has plenty of storage including a pantry with a conventional stove, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker and filters, toaster, crock-pot and hand mixer. Spices and seasonings are included. The large dining table seats eight guests.

Enjoy a beautiful Middle Bass evening while grilling out on the deck which looks out on the golf course and lake. A large gas grill is provided with plenty of out door seating -- 2 lounge chairs, love seat, and a table with an umbrella.

On the ground level is where the second full bathroom is located, along with a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience. Included for your outdoor enjoyment we have 2 kayaks, bikes, golf clubs, horse shoes, corn hole, tabletop shuffleboard and much more for your use.

Our guests will have access to the entire cottage. There is a keypad, and a lock box with keys to make access quite easy for my guests.

Cottage No.6 underwent a complete remodel in 2021 and is situated in a residential neighborhood near Perry's Monument and a short walk to downtown. There are 2 patios out back. Grill some burgers on the gas grill followed by a relaxing evening on the concrete patio around the fire ring in the back yard . The front porch is screened in and a perfect place to unwind and enjoy a glass of island made wine. There is parking for one vehicle, but could possibly accommodate more, just ask.

The space
Built in 1938, Cottage 6 is one of 6 cottages, all built in a row and has spent its entire life as a rental. The cottage is 720 sq ft. with 3 bedrooms. The cottage retains most of it's original features and was completely updated in 2021. During the remodel the entire home was updated as well as the addition of a full size washer and dryer. The front entrance is through a screened in porch and leads to a small main room. The main room has a small entry table, television, and a daybed. All 3 bedrooms have televisions, black out curtains, and are located to the one side of the cottage. The bathroom features a shower only with sink and toilet. The kitchen has been updated with the addition of a dishwasher and electric stove. The cottage is on well water (with UV and charcoal filter) so if you are sensitive to well water I advise on bringing bottled water, or picking up some at our local store. It is easy to imagine all the wonderful memories made by families and friends over the years in the cottage. My goal is to accomplish the same and create a clean and cozy space where friends and families can gather year after year to do the same. I strive to provide you with the most comfortable stay possible. The kitchen has pots, pans, dishwasher, coffee maker & filters, toaster, plates, bowls, and utensils. Know that's is all not a matching set, but it's there. If there is anything missing you need , just ask and I'll do my best to provide it! Two bedroom feature queen size beds, and the middle bedroom has two twin beds. The front bedroom has a desk suitable for working from home. Usb ports are in all bedrooms as well as reading lights and closet space. All the televisions have local antenna channels only, but all are smart TV's and you are welcome to sign in to any of your streaming accounts. You will be provided clean linens for the beds and bath. We also have extra blankets, towels, and sheets, again if you need anything please just ask. The backyard features a concrete patio off the back of the house, gas grill, small firepit (firewood is provided), and a partial view of the lake as you exit the cottage. I want you to fully enjoy your island experience and will do anything I can to accommodate you as my guest.

Cottage 6 is a work in progress. No maintenance will take place (unless emergency) during your stay. Recent updates include new double pane windows, Fresh paint and new medicine cabinet in the bathroom, and addition of a composite deck out back.

Guest access
There is room to park one car on the property. You are welcome to bring one car and have a golf cart in the lawn.

Other things to note
The laundry is washed in All free and sensitive and Downy cool cotton fabric softener. If that is an issue for you please let us know at time of booking and you are welcome to bring your own linens.

Since we are on an island on Lake Erie and 300' feet away from the water, depending on the time of year is can get a little buggy at night. It's totally normal and the bugs are harmless.

There is free Wi-Fi for your use. The service is provided for your enjoyment but you are responsible for safe and appropriate use complying with all laws. If there is any loss of service please contact us, however, we are located on an island, so internet service can be spotty. No refunds will be given for lack of or loss of Wi-Fi/internet service.

Cottage six is limited to 6 guests maximum. If this is going to be an issue please contact me ahead of booking. Sometimes I can accommodate your group, other times I can help find a spot that would better suit your needs. There is a $300 charge per person per night if you choose to show up with more than 6 total. I prefer to address this type of situation prior to your arrival.

Beautiful farm house located on the water in a lovely country-quiet setting. Built in the 1860s this cottage is a perfect get away for families. 2,934 square feet. Very large yard and 275 feet of lakefront property. Enjoy the screened in porch to sip your morning coffee or to look across the lake at Kelley's Island. On a clear night you can even see the fireworks at Cedar Point. Want some action? Restaurants, shops, etc. are located just 1.5 miles away in downtown. NO LARGE PARTY GROUPS!
