This sweet cottage is a comfortable place to relax and rest, and rejuvenate. It is the perfect place to read and write. It is my home, and my three cats live here. You can take a five-minute walk to the lake to watch the famous Erie sunsets. It is the perfect spot to read, write, and daydream. All of the furniture is comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. The deck is a great place to listen to the birds and the wind in the trees. We rented both cabins and the kids loved running in the grass and having smores at the fire. Eagle View Cottage, is a gorgeous 2 bedroom 1 bath cottage . Eagleview sits upon a bluff overlooking Lake Erie. Our cottage is newly remodeled with genuine hickory hardwood floors through out, a blend of red pine paneling and white pine logs give our cottage a rustic look and a unique feel . The kitchen is complete with all brand new appliances, granite counter tops and all the amenities of home. Our kitchen is filled with everything you"ll need to cook a great meal. coffee maker, toaster and crockpot are among some of the appliances. The master bedroom located in the loft area includes a queen size bed, window air conditioners are available in both bedrooms. Some Features of our Cottage:

This is an older cottage with some newer renovations. You will see slightly steeper steps to the 2nd floor than you would see in a newer home. The kitchen/dining room ceiling is about 7ft high. The ceiling in the 2nd floor bedroom and bathroom is around 6 1/2ft high. You will hear some creeks in the floor in certain areas, a few nics on some walls and other things you would find in an old country cottage. The kitchen base cabinets and countertops were replaced in 2021, the living/great room was completely remodeled in 2014.

If you are use to staying at the JW Marriott, you will probably not be satisfied with our cottage.

There is a private residence directly (within 25ft) beside this cottage against the kitchen window.

It was really great to have use of a fully stocked kitchen, including a dishwasher. It was also a great convenience to have a washer and dryer. There is a very spacious fenced in backyard with a fire pit. We left our dogs at home this time around, but it was clear that it would have been a very welcoming place for them to stay. The best part about this house is the convenient location to Waldameer Park and the beaches. We were there within minutes. Besides our rare private neighborhood beach there are several other local public beaches: Freeport Beach features a small lifeguarded swimming area, playground, and a volleyball court. Fisherman’s Beach / 20 Mile Creek is a large State Park / public beach. Lots of Steelhead fishing in the creek there too. Shades Beach is another great swimming beach with a small boat launch. About a 40 minute drive west is the wildly known Presque Isle State Park with beautiful life guarded sandy beaches, bike trails, lagoons for kayaking, & fishing.

For hiking / bike riding there are some great trails around the Eaton Reservoir / Bulls Dam, Winter Green Gorge, Six Mile Creek Park, & Presque Isle.

Our vintage cottage in a lakeside community is a great place to relax. Just 2 blocks from Edinboro Lake and one mile from downtown Edinboro. In the summer, enjoy boating, fishing, park/playgrounds nearby. North East Cottage is a quaint, two level cottage nestled between 16 mile creek and Lake Erie. The space
This 2022 renovated stand-alone cottage accommodates four adults with ease. The two bedrooms each have original wood floors with area carpets, queen size beds, ceiling fans, two windows opening a quiet yard. Both have ample closet/hanging space, nightstands, and bedside charging points for cellphones.
The kitchen also entirely new, with new cabinets, major appliances (refrigerator, gas stove, exhaust fan/light, dishwasher, disposal) as well as new small appliances such a toaster, blender and coffee-maker. Dishes, cookware, stemware mixing and serving bowls as well as the usual small essentials are stocked in the kitchen cabinets and draws. The quartz countertop wraps around the stove and arches slightly so to accommodate four stools to encourage conversation with the cook at the stove top. A new clothes washer and dryer is tucked into the kitchen corner. An efficient work triangle has a rustic tile floor than runs into the nearby pantry and bath.
The new bath has a low-rise step-in curbed shower with custom tilework from floor to ceiling, frameless glass panel and temperature control out-of-the-spray of the shower head with ample shelves and towel rods to accommodate four adults.
The living room likewise has the refinished original wood floors and area carpets with a sofa and sitting chairs and a wall mounted smart TV as well as a reading nook and small round table at the far end. An indoor sun porch looks upon an open lot next door and permits an escape to a quiet space while still in view of the living room.
Off the kitchen is a 12x20 outdoor deck with table and chairs for outdoor dining as well as a gas grill and lounging chairs. A lovely place to relax on a summer evening.
In the neighborhood there is much to do.
The Alure Cottage has deeded beach access which is an easy 10-minute walk or even shorter drive to Kelso Beach. Kelso Beach has well maintained sandy shores and a broad pier jutting into Lake Erie. Fires are allowed (weather permitting, no on-shore winds) and sunsets on Lake Erie can be breath-taking. Also, within a 10-minute walk is Waldameer Amusement Party and Water World. With both adventuresome rides for the young (and young -at-heart) as well as charming rides like the railroad and cable-car, there is something for everyone at Waldameer. Presque Isle State Park is also walking distance, has much to offer. Here kayaking, canoeing and bike rentals are all possible as well as popular beaches which have picnic tables, charcoal grills, and public bathrooms.
Within the neighborhood there are also restaurants, shops, bars and other retail outlets within walking distance or a short drive. Erie has amusements only a short drive, for example the Erie Zoo the Maritime Museum and other sites worth seeing. Especially in the summer there are concerts, festivals, and events often scheduled. In July and August, the Port Authority offers a free concert entitled Eight Great Tuesday.

This home has a keyless entry lock, so you are able to access the home without worrying about losing a key! You will receive an access code before you arrive that you will use to access the home. You will enter the code provided into the keypad followed by the check mark symbol to unlock the door. To lock the door when departing from the home you will just press the "Yale" button at the top of the keypad. You will have access to the entire home including a laundry room with a washer/dryer, and a garage to keep bikes and your gear.

- Please be sure you clean up/pick up after they use the bathroom and dispose of it in the outdoor trash can
- If your pup experiences separation anxiety please take them with you when you leave the home

The Cleaning Fee is set by the Cleaning Pro that we contract with. They are trained, experienced, and go through the Airbnb 5-Step enhanced cleaning process which includes disinfecting high traffic/touch areas (remote controls, light switches, rails, etc.)

Please note that we offer two options to protect both you and the property, ensuring it remains in excellent condition for you and future guests: a non-refundable Damage Waiver for a small fee $50, or a refundable Safety Deposit hold on your card of $1000, which covers potential damages during your stay. If you are bringing a pet, please know there will be a pet fee of $10 per pet. These options will be presented to you after booking via our Guest App.

Travel insurance is recommended. As with any vacation, unexpected situations sometimes occur that can put a damper on even the best-planned trips. We stand by our firm by our cancelation policy and getting travel insurance is your best option for protecting your trip from the unexpected.
